Falling for Summer

Plotting Summer

Rate this book
The book is always better than the movie. But occasionally, life is better than the book.

Ten years ago I made a mortifying, life-altering mistake. Now, this once seemingly insignificant choice is threatening to wreck my entire existence. And possibly throw Tristan Palmer—my next-door-neighbor and the guy I’ve had a secret crush on for the entirety of my life—into the fray unaware.

The mistake?

I am Sunny Palmer. As in the anonymous, best-selling author of over a dozen beloved romances and renowned thief of Tristan’s last name. Okay, not renowned yet, thank the high heavens! But that news will spread like wildfire if people discover that this introverted book nerd is the woman behind the pen name. And the fact that my first book, Secret Crush, is Tristan’s and my fictionalized love story leaves zero room for calling it anything but what it is—a travesty of greatest proportions.

That’s why NO ONE can know! Ever!

So it’s wretched luck that when I finally visit Sunset Harbor, the small-town island where I grew up, I run into the still heart-stopping, book-boyfriend-worthy man himself. And shockingly, Tristan seems intent on reminding me what the island has to offer. Because that’s what friends do.

Logic demands I resist his charm and guard my secret at all costs, which is why it’s vastly unfortunate that Tristan Palmer was and always will be … my greatest weakness.

Audio length ~ 9 hours 29 minutes
Narrator ~ Ellen Quay
POV ~ single 1st
Featuring ~ small town, island life, secret author, secret teenage crush, neighbors to lovers, friends to lovers, no 3rd act breakup, no steamage

Capri & Tristan lived next door to each other growing up. She had a secret crush on him and penned a novel about it. Never thinking it would go anywhere it turned out to be a bestseller. She has kept her identity as the author a secret for years. Now that she’s back on the island, and Tristan is near, can she keep not only her pen name a secret, but also the fact that she still harbors that crush for the newly single boy next door?

Oh my gosh, this was adorable and sweet and fun! Both characters were great and their banter was top notch. Tristan is book boyfriend material for sure. Can I get a woo hoo for no 3rd act breakup?! Overall, delightful!

I’m not quite sure why I haven’t read this author before, but I’ll be fixing that asap.

Series notes:
The timeline is the same for each book meaning the characters from other books in the series are in the background, but haven’t necessarily had their story told yet. I like this way of doing things since it doesn’t make it absolutely necessary to read them in order, but it’ll be better if you do.

Narration notes:
She did great.

Every single book in this series becomes my favorite when I read it. Seriously. I get so pulled into this world that reality just…drifts away. (Its probably why I sit and read them in one sitting)

Capri & Tristan were uhhh THE CUTEST! Like…guys I’m kinda obsessed with their story! I’m giddy just writing this review because I’m thinking about them. *major sigh*

The ONLY thing that would’ve made it better would’ve been Tristan’s POV, but that just because I’m a greedy little romance reader. But Jess did such a great job in Capri’s head, while also showing us Tristian showing up and showing out that I felt his POV blend so well into the story I didn’t *need* it!

The tension. The chemistry. The banter. The secrets. The family meddling. The island. The people. The love. The outings. The KNOWING. The history.

Y’all! I just…*picks myself up off the floor I have melted on* I LOVED THIS BOOK! And I cannot wait to be BACK in Sunset Harbor, seriously y’all these have been the best summer reads!

*petition for Heath & Tala to get their own story*

5/5 stars

"It's the friends-to-lovers trope. Oh, and obviously secret crush."
"What's the trope for my stealing his name and writing a fictional romance book about us?"

Okay, Jess Heileman, thank you for writing one of the most perfect BOOK LOVER'S ROMANCE!!!

A long-time crush steals her crush's last name as her pen name and writes a fictional romance based on that crush and we get to follow along with their entire summer {fictional} summer romance.

DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE, reading friends!

This book gave me all the happy -giddy feelings the entire way through. It also brought in so many fun characters from this series and while this can be read as a stand alone...you really should be reading all of these!

A+, 2 thumbs-up, 5 stars and all of the happy reading feelings for this one!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're looking for a fun, summery romance!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Content: minimal innuendo, romance-kisses only.

✨Audiobook Review ✨

Capri’s story is one of my favorites because she’s a closet romance writer. I remember back in the day writing play-by-plays in my journal of every little interaction with my current crush–can you imagine turning that into a book? Yes!

Ellen Quay did a great job of narrating this fun summer romcom and I couldn’t get enough of Tristan and Capri’s story. It was a treat to listen to this one all over again. I love the way Jess Heileman wrote this and brought another Sunset Harbor love story to life in so many fun ways.

Fantastic plot, wonderful characters, charming setting, sweet and hilarious interaction, terrific swoon–this one is one my favorites list.

*I received a complimentary copy through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own and were voluntarily given*

***************************

“This story-writing book-nerd is about to get her man!”

Or is she? I loved this book in the Falling for Summer so much. Although each book can technically stand alone, I can’t get enough on the interconnectedness.

Capri is a best-seller author with a very top secret pseudonym and a very big secret as to why. She’s the sweetest wallflower with the biggest romantic imagination and I adore her, especially when she goes back home and some scheming forces her to stay on the island and go with the flow to redefine her relationship with Sunset Harbor with the crush from her teenage years. I couldn’t blame her a bit for her massive crush, because Tristan is literally the stuff dreams are made of.

There’s nothing more satisfying than to see such wonderful characters fall into the most awkward, swoony, and delightfully fun situations, and to enjoy every banter and interaction as the beachy vibe settles into their hearts. Am I the only one who can relate to an unrequited crush? This author knows how to write such entertaining connections and deliciously sweet romance and I felt like I was on the best bookish vacation of my life, watching my teenage fantasy come to life.

I think by the end of this series, I’m going to have a load of new fictional besties and I’ll be packing up my non-existent golf cart to move into any vacant place on the island.

Cute summer, small town romance with all the feels. I listened to the audiobook version and had a wonderful time doing so. I even laugh out loud at some parts. The romance was very sweet no third act breaku, no language, very minimal kissing.

The story focuses on the FMC who has been in love with her neighbor since she could remember so much so that she wrote a fictional love story about the two of them that turned into a best seller. So when she comes back to town and her story is actually coming to life she's not sure if she should tell him the truth about who she really is.

Side note: I found the FMC very annoying she over analyzed everything. Always in her own head getting in her own way. The MMC was a gem though I liked his character a lot.

He sees her! He really sees her!

I could stop right there and be happy with my review, but I'll keep going. I'm in swoon-mode right now, and definitely not in my right mind, but I'll give this a shot.

Sunny Palmer. What a wonderfully delicious way she chose her name. When I figured it out (ok, when it was spelled out for me), I had the biggest, most ridiculous grin on my face. The name is absolute perfection. As is Tristan. All book boyfriends should be like him. I also adore seeing how all the characters across the series tie in together.

This book just makes me so happy.

And he really sees her.

Edited for audiobook:

I absolutely adored this book when I read it with my eyes. But listening to it? I couldn't get enough! In fact, I stayed up HOURS past my bedtime one night simply because I didn't want to turn it off. The book is marvelous, and the narrator did an exceptional job!

I can never get enough of Jess Heileman’s books! You hear that Jess? We need more!

This is the cutest book with an amazing plot. Capri is an introverted book nerd, turned author. She’s had a crush on her next door neighbor, Tristan, forever. He doesn’t seem to reciprocate those feelings, so she writes a fictional account of their love story, how it could have been.

The book is a hit! She becomes a renowned author but keeps her identity secret. At least she tries to, but life happens.

Tristan is the sweetest book boyfriend. Can he be so in real life? Capri is afraid he’ll figure out her secret. This leads to a lot of fun and awkward moments (my favorite) which Jess Heileman is a pro at.

If you love unrequited love, secret identities, meddling family and small town gossip, you will love this book! It’s amazingly swoony with sweet kisses only.

You guys know romcoms aren't my go-to genre, but I was in need of something lighthearted and funny, and wanted to squeeze in another summer read before moving on to fall.

The FMC is an author writing under a pen name, trying to prevent her family and hometown from finding out her true identity, because one of her books that's gone viral is suspiciously similar to past real-life events involving her teenage crush. But pressure is mounting to uncover her identity, just as she reconnects with said crush, who is now single for the first time in years.

I won't say much because I think the fact that I gave the book five stars speaks for itself. I loved this one. I have such minor criticisms that they're not even worth mentioning. I laughed and giggled and inwardly squealed throughout the entire book. Grandma and Heath were my favorite side characters, Heath especially! 🤣 The romance was so sweet and enjoyable, and I am not always a fan of friends to lovers, or the one that got away, or whatever this trope is.

I think it helped a lot that it's single POV. I've come to realize that I LOVE single POV for romances; I much prefer them over dual POV. There's more tension in being left guessing, and I want at least a little bit of unpredictability in my books. I didn't get bored at all with this one, and I read it in ebook format, which is a format I really dislike. Five stars despite that!

Anyways, yeah. This is only my second in this series, the other being Rebel Summer, and I loved both. Definitely check this one out if you're in the mood for one last summery book in September. I look forward to trying more books by this author in the future.

Content info:
Closed door–kisses only, though some innuendos throughout (not crude, IMO), mostly regarding a married couple; no cursing; past loss of parent.

This was fun! I have to say, Tristan is just adorable and sweet 😍. I wish we had his POV, BUT I think the author did a fabulous job of writing a single POV book ( female ), yet still capturing the essence of the main guy ( Tristan ).

The premise was so fun. Capri Collins ( AKA Sunny Palmer ) is dreading the day that her secret life as a best-selling author is uncovered. Especially since her debut novel was a fictionalized account of her teenage unrequited love.

She knows that the discovery of this secret will drag both her AND her high school crush, Tristan Palmer into a media firestorm.

So the idea of returning to her small Florida town to retrieve some family valuables is abhorrent. And yet—there she is, back in Summer Harbor. Not only is she back, but she’s stuck there until she can find her wayward car keys.

Back into her life strolls Tristan. Reigniting her high school crush— AND every fear she has of him discovering the dreadful truth about her secret identity.

This was SO cute! An adorable story! Also the side characters of Heath and Tala—absolutely adorable. I love the banter and teasing!

Content : A couple of scenes made me a little uncomfortable - particularly a shower scene. Both were in swimsuits, at a public shower— but it still made me a little edgy.

Overall, a sweet clean read! This series is summer perfection!

I’ll start this off by saying I’ve seriously loved this series up until this book (I’ll still be reading the others), but I just had so many problems with the main characters in this.

Let’s start with Capri. I didn’t love how she was always hating on Walker and wasn’t willing to give him a second chance for the longest time! Like she left the Island too and had an “Avoidance Protocol” but somehow had such issues with Walker shafting to actually come around the family again? And she never saw ANYTHING negatively about Tristan, like at all. It was honestly pretty frustrating how much her “secret crush” made her blind to him. I felt like he definitely played her whenever they were younger whenever they almost kissed then he got back with Bridget, yet no one seemed to have a problem with that??? And Tristan was just this supposedly amazing guy his whole life who always looked out for everyone else? I just didn’t get it.

I already talked some about why I didn’t like Tristan, but my main problem was that I just didn’t think he was that interesting. He was perfect to the point of having no flaws, and that just made him seem way less relatable. I didn’t get what his motivations were, I had no emotional connection to him. I just wish he could’ve either had is own POV or just had a more diverse character other than being in love with Capri.

Overall, this just wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t like how predictable everything was, and I felt like the characters didn’t have much growth in the end. I’ll be reading the next book but I’m hoping it’s like the first 2 and not like this one.

Rating as a movie: PG-13 for suggestive content

Books and Authors mentioned: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, Nicholas Sparks, Jojo Moyes, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J. K. Rowling ~ Harry Potter #7, The Princess Bride by William Goldman, War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy

My rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟📘🏖📚☀️📒

My thoughts: 📱0% 2:56 [2m into] The Incident [34m from Chapter 1] - I thought this was the actress's book, but even better it's the author I've been hearing about every book. Since my KU is full I got the preview there's a map 😍 and I finally got to see how they spent Cap-ree, it's Capri which I'm now glad I used audio because I would have been saying Kuh-pree, like the island.
📱4% 22:47 [22m into] The Incident [14m from Chapter 1] - So it's supposed to be the Italian pronunciation ka-pree, not the American kuh, but the audiobooks have been using kap-ree, so... I'm just going to let it go since I'm not dual reading. But they are saying it wrong; I slowed it down to triple-check.
📱33% 3:06:37 [16m into] Chapter 9 [34m from Chapter 10] - I love this story so much; unfortunately, I forgot my headphones in the car, so I can't continue.

This was the best in the series and my favorite. I want to tell people to start here but I think reading 4 books that mentioned this couple made it better. There are so many themes that are repeatedly used in this book but are all different, I think an embarrassing period story may be one.

Recommend to others: Yes! I love stories about books and summer.

ABSOLUTE FABULOUSNESS!!!! Y’all this summer romcom series has been SPITTING FIRE and “Plotting Summer” was no different!! I have absolutely fallen in love with Tristan & Capri! This book served everythingggg😍😍😍 I’m talking childhood crushes, boy next door, a secret identity, and all the island/summer vibes your heart could ever desire🥳

What I loved most about this story was how Jess Heilemen went about having Capri disclose her closet-author identity to those around the island. The way each person found out/reacted was absolute perfection🥰 Especially Tristan’s reaction!!!!!!!!! He is just the stinking swooniest MMC everrrr😍 AND HIS BANTER!!!! I loved Tristan’s banter with Capri AND ALSO BEAU!!!! I was absolutely cackling to the point of tears in my eyes🤣 The bicycle bell was my FAVORITE😂🙌🏼

If the amount of exclamation marks I included in this review is any indication, you NEED TO GO READ THIS BOOK!!! Thank me later😉 Highly recommend❤️

I don’t know if I have the right words to explain how much I loved this book💗

At first, I was bummed when I realized that this wasn’t a dual POV book; but then I got to see how going through the story in Capri’s eyes made the story feel so real! The perfect irony of watching a romance author character get to fall in love and experience it all for herself, without the convenience of the MMC POV!🤭

This book had me GIGGLING. The flirting and banter was just *chefs kiss* - this is my first book by this author, and I can say I’m hooked on her writing style. Her characters felt so real; I related to Capri in many ways, and it helped that Tristan’s character is like 100% my type🙃🤭 The way that he made her feel SEEN, UNDERSTOOD, and LOVED touched my heart in a way few romance novels have so far, because it felt like exactly what I wish for myself deep down🥹

Plotting Summer
By: Jess Heileman
Narrator: Ellen Quay

This one was such a joy to listen too. Sunny Palmer is a best-selling of romance books. Little to people know that she is writing about her crush and no one knows this is her pen name.

Tristan Palmer was her childhood crush and she wrote about their relationship or what she wanted their relationship to be.

When she heads back home to Sunset Harber, she runs into her crush. Life has brought back those feelings and creates a unique opportunity for her to find herself once again longing for Tristan. Can they reconnect as friends and possibly more?

This is book three in the Falling for Summer multi-author series and my first book by Jess Heileman—it definitely won’t be my last! This was such an outright fun read with a secret identity, a romance author, childhood crush, meddling family, playful competition, the sweetest dates, tons of tension, so much swoon, and the sweetest ending.

Things I Loved:
-Hybrid sibling (relatable!)
-“‘The proof will be in the pictures?’ ‘Something like that.’”
-Remembering Favorite Foods
-Manatees
-Coordinating Outfits
-Steamy Room
-“You’re worth remembering, Capri Sun.”
-Thinking up stories for people
-Celebrating turning in the manuscript
-The Kiss
-Bro Apology
-Gum 😂
-Annotated Book
-The ending!

I loved the secret author dynamic of this story and the way Capri’s mind ran. I wanted inside Tristan’s head so badly, but the single POV really did work for this story and I enjoyed every bit of it!

These stories are interconnected while remaining standalone. The connections are so fun, it has me wanting every single book to come!

In love from page one

Wow. I was hooked from page one. Maybe it's the romance author in me or the fact I devour romance books like no other, but immediately Capri and I clicked.

The writing was so hilarious and witty and I was smiling like a goon through eighth percent of the book. Capri's inner monologue was unbelievably entertaining. I absolutely loved that it was written in first person, which I didn't expect but it just worked so well for this story!

Tristan was a sweetheart and Ioved every ounce of romance in this book! So swoony! I can't even say enough about how reading this story just made me smile and get the butterflies and I finished it in one sitting. No joke. 😅

Love. Love. Love it!

Have you been reading the Falling for Summer series? Each book in the series helps create a more concrete image in my mind of what the island is like. And I’m sold! I want to visit!

In Plotting Summer we see some different parts of the island that we’ve heard about in the other books and seen on the map as Tristan and Capri go on the cutest planned “outings”. Yeah, it sounds like a date to me too. But we’ll let them call it whatever they want as long as they are TOGETHER because these two are FIRE!

I loved the secret identity, the romance writer-isms, the long-time crush and the history between the two of them.

This book is single POV and as much as I would have loved Tristan’s point of view, I loved Capri’s inner voice and I didn’t mind being in her head the whole time.

I really liked getting to know the side characters. Heath - Capri’s brother in law - is a hoot! He’s my favorite!

The connections with the characters in the other books were so fun. Capri is Walker’s sister and best friends with Jane (both from Summer Ever After) and Jess and Kortney did a great job collaborating to write those relationships.

This book had SO many cute moments and I LOVED the ending! It was so perfect! Hooray for annotations, that’s all I’m gonna say.

Don’t miss this adorable installment in the series! Jess Heileman’s writing is so much fun and she writes characters that are so relatable and lovable.

🔥: Kissing

🎧: Audio reread update: the narrator NAILED Capri’s personality and the way she voiced Capri’s inner dialogue was the BEST! She made it so entertaining as fun and I think I loved this book even more the se one time.

My new favorite romcom!
-childhood crush
-the boy next door
-multi author series
-small town/close proximity
-secret identity
-friends to more

The perfect summer read.
This book has it all for me. I loved that the main character is a writer. I related so much with all her internal thoughts and feelings about things that inspired her. And Tristian is the perfect dream boy that may have a couple flaws she never knew about, making him all the more real and relatable.
Capri tries to stay away from her charming hometown because she has a pretty big secret but her mischievous family drags her back and sets her up for a love story worth the wait. Swoon!
I enjoyed the awkward moments that made me laugh (not cringe like some other authors), the romantic scenes that made me reread page after page, and the real life messiness that she had to work through. Perfection.
I will definitely reread this book and now I must read the connected books in this series to see what happens to her friends during the same summer!

Plotting Summer
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Author: Jess Heileman

I requested a digital advanced readers copy from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media and providing my opinion voluntarily and unbiased.

Synopsis: Ten years ago I made a mortifying, life-altering mistake.

My Thoughts: This is the third book of the Falling for Summer Series, a very delightful series that I have enjoyed immensely. Capri and Tristan lived next door to each other growing up. She has always had a secret crush on him but never acting on it. To express her emotions, and to quip her love of writing, she fictionalized a story after her and Tristan, under the pin name os Sunny Palmer (yes borrowing his last name), not knowing it would become a best seller. Now that she is back in town, her crush is just as vivid as when she was a teen. With him being her biggest weakness, will she be able to resist his charm? Or will she succumb to it? This follows the tropes of neighbors to lovers, friends to lovers, small town romance, no third act breakup, secret crush, and closed door romance.

This is narrated by Capri, through her eyes, POV in first person. I love this island. With each book, we get more and more a glimpse of it and the cultures and community that makes Sunset Harbor home to many. I loved to be able to escape to this island 7 different times from varying author perspectives. Capri is a secret writer, independent, fierce, and kind. Tristan is charming, sexy, and kind. The characters were well developed with depth, witty banter, angst/tension, mad chemistry, and engaging. The supporting characters, some have their own books in this story, really do elevate this story to another level. The author’s writing style was complex, closed door, funny, heartwarming, and really touched my heart. The plot was fantastic and the ending was chef’s 💋.

The narrator, Ellen Quay, does a fantastic job with voice variation through character distinction. Her pitch and flow is so easy that I was able to listen at 2x speed with no issues. My only con with this is I really enjoy a dual POV so to have some of the book from Tristan’s perspective would have been top notch. However, this did not take away from the story, just more of a personal preference. This romance will enlighten your heart and make you believe in love. I highly recommend this book and all of the series. Note, some of the stories run concurrently so you will see characters show up in each other’s book without their story happening, I believe it enriches the series that way. I love when a group of authors get together and plan a series that runs concurrently with each other.

I absolutely adored this wonderful romance! Plotting Summer is the third book in the Falling for Summer series, which is great when read in order, yet all of the books can also be enjoyed in any order. I listened to the audio version and it was beautifully narrated, truly bringing the characters to life for me.

Going into this novel, I realized that it was told only from Capri’s perspective and I wondered how I would feel about that. Well, it was the perfect way to tell this story! I thought the author did a great job of creating those uncertain and nervous emotions that Capri felt upon being around Tristan for the first time in almost a decade. As they embarked on spending time as friends and going on outings, Capri began to wonder if Tristan might want to be more than friends. And Capri definitely realized that her crush had never actually disappeared. It was in full force all of these years later! But would there be a chance to be more than friends with Tristan once he learned of the book she wrote about her crush? I really felt for Capri as she battled feelings of nervousness and dread for the conversation she knew she needed to have with Tristan.

This book packed all of the feels and captured every emotion so vividly! I loved it from start to finish and it was extra fun to find out that there was a bonus epilogue told from Tristan’s point of view. I highly recommend this novel.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Cosy and low angst romance

📚 small town
📚 secret best-selling author
📚 next door neighbours
📚 childhood secret crush
📚 friends to lovers
📚 interconnected series

🚫 clean romance

“I’m the recent social media sensation, Sunny Palmer…as in the combination of Tristan’s nickname for me and his last name”

|Thoughts|
After reading Book 1 in the Falling For Summer series, this was the story I was most excited to pick up next. Loved how Capri’s secret as a successful author played out during her time on the island. And even more that the first book in her successful series was about her fictionalised romance with her childhood crush (who now wants to be friends).

“You can’t ask about my reason for avoiding the island. But I’ll tell you when I’m ready”

Perfect build up and reveal of her as the popular author. Especially the final reveal to Tristan.

“Heath really undersold the level of your crush”

These stories are low angst, sweet and just feels like reading a well written hallmark movie (see clean romance).

This is book 4 in the Falling for Summer interconnected series. Events and characters do cross over with other books in the series. But each can also be read as a standalone.

Thank yo so much for this ARC audiobook! I can't begin to explain how much I loved it!

I have been so looking forward to Capri's story and it really didn't disappoint! Capri is a very likeable protagonist and I felt as if I really knew her, as if she was my friend telling me a story of her life. The author did an excellent job of matching the tone of the first book in the series and the characters that made appearances were the same as in the other books which I thought was excellent, so much so that it made me forget that this is a multi-author book series.

The romance was adorable and I loved that there wasn't any toxicity from either of the characters in particular.
The narration really matched that of the first book and I was very impressed with how she voiced the entire ensemble of characters, Jane and Walker felt like the same characters from book one and Beau matched that of the Beau from Book 4. Furthermore, this book really managed to capture the beauty of family and community and I thoroughly enjoyed Capri doing her Auntie duties; I love how much the kids love her.

I'm going to read/ listen to every book in this series as I believe it is a perfect cosy summer read, and as I've said in previous reviews, I really love that it is clean and more about the character development/ falling in love with someone's personality as apposed to explicit scenes that only describe the MMC's physical attributes, simultaneously watering down their character development. Don't get me wrong I love a steamy scene however I am way more interested in the plot than anything else, and these books remind me of why I love reading romance and watching Rom-Coms.

I will be posting a video on TikTok soon about my love for this series once I've read them all.
I can't wait for the next one!

I loved this book! I've been slowly working my through the Falling for Summer series (thanks to Dreamscape Media for the ALC of this one!), and nearly all the authors are new-to-me. This is my first by Jess Heileman, but I just *loved* this story.

This book had everything I truly love about a closed door romance novel!

Capri (Sun) was the type of FMC that I related to on a bone-deep level. She's a little shy and sensitive. She had a crush on her older neighbor growing up. Their small island town felt like too small of a place for her big secret... she's a really famous romance author who used her childhood crush's last name as her pen name.

Tristan is the type of book boyfriend that makes me swoon. He's sweet and thoughtful, and he takes his time getting to know Capri as an adult, taking care not to ruin his second chance.

I loved all of the easter eggs from the other stories. I loved the community events. I LOVED the dates they planned for one another and their competitions. And the epilogue... it was just all so sweet. This is likely going to be my favorite from this series... big fan! Now to read anything else Jess has written....
