Brutal murders of the homeless have set Spider-Man and The Punisher on a mission to find the cause. The unlikely allies have a suspect in their sights…Sabretooth! Are they senseless murders, or is there something WORSE beneath the surface?
Terrence "Terry" Kavanagh is an American comic book editor and writer. Kavanagh's last new comics project was the Before the Fantastic Four: The Storms limited series in 2000–2001.
A crappy one-shot from the 90's where Spider-Man and Punisher fight one another as much as they do the two brothers experimenting on the homeless. Sabretooth is along for the ride too, for unclear reasons.
There is a story and it does make it from beginning to end but feels sliced up and almost as if designed by a person who is trying to imitate the violence of pro wrestling without knowing who the wrestlers are or why the fans love them. Though that is just my opinion and I am sure there will be others that would say this was a good read.
For its time, this comic book isn't too bad, but it did not age well. The story is a bit hard to follow just due to the old "our art work isn't detailed enough, so the characters announce everything they're doing", which is common in older comics. Kind of a struggle to stick to, but over all I don't regret it.
