It’s no secret the bad boy racecar driver has built a reputation from two things. Winning and fu—front-page headlines. I’ve read he’s the best at both, but I have no intention of finding out firsthand.
I have my own plans, and they don’t include making the gossip rags as his next grid girl one-night stand. My three older brothers, his bosses, would never stand for it anyway.
So, how did I find myself daydreaming about the one man I’ve been forbidden from dating?
His mere proximity causes my heart to beat wildly in my chest. My knees go weak when his eyes find mine across the track. But it’s the way he kisses me as if the rest of the world doesn’t exist that has me falling into his playboy trap.
I finally surrender to temptation, but only for one night, and for the record, there was no standing involved except against a door that got in our way.
But no deed goes unpunished. No matter how good we are together. He’s given an ultimatum. Will he take his last chance to win the world championship or follow his heart back to me?

I didn’t really connect with this book. There were some parts that were cute but overall the pacing was off for me. It seemed like only 2 times meeting and some text convos Marina and Cash were in love. I feel like there could have been more relationship building there. Also this one had me really trying to focus and keep my attention. For some reason it wasn’t one I could just zone into and be pulled in. Overall it wasn’t really the book for me.
I received an advance review copy but this review is my own honest opinions.
This was my first read by this author & I really enjoyed this book. I went in blind & was pleasantly surprised to find out that it’s a sports romance. He’s a bad boy race car driver & her family owns the team he races for. They get off on the wrong foot but that doesn’t stop her from calling him late one night when she needs help. Even though it’s forbidden, they form a strong relationship despite it all.
Thank you to S.L. Scott & Literally Yours PR for the ARC.
Tropes: - Sports Romance - Race Car Driver x Actress - Bad Boy x Good Girl - Forbidden - Single Dad - Age Gap (9 yrs)
Cash has a reputation when it comes to his personal life but that is only part of who he is as he is also a dedicated father whose son is the most important person in his life. Even though he and Marina may not have gotten off to the best start they can’t seem to stay away from each other even if there compelling reasons that they should.
Marina is an actress whose personal relationship may have ended with her co-star but ending the professional relations is much more difficult. Between what is happening with her ex and the fact that she is a partner in the family business that Cash drives for developing feelings for him has complicated all over it but walking away doesn’t seem to be possible.
There are so many circumstances and events conspiring to keep but Cash and Marina apart which only amps up the emotion of their journey, but they prove that even though it isn’t easy love can conquer all.
ARC Review✨This book follows Marina and Cash who meet unexpectedly but not on the best terms. Marina is a famous actress who is also Cash’s boss and Cash is a famous race car driver as well as being a single dad.
This was the first book I have read by S.L. Scott and I loved this story + fell in love with the characters. Marina is a spitfire who is not afraid to speak her mind while Cash is grumpy/cocky with a reputation. I wish we got to read when Cash told his son about him dating Marina but I still loved this book!! It had me hooked from the beginning with the two characters meeting at the race. This book will make you feel happy, sad, and make you laugh so much, overall just being an enjoyable read. Definitely recommend reading!!
If you love enemies to lovers, age gap, single dad, with a happy ending, then this is the perfect book for you with swoon worthy characters.
I enjoyed this book! Sexy grumpy douche race car driver…. Need I say more! He didn’t get along at all with the FMC at first but things slowly take a different turn and….. well, find out for yourself 😋 Loved the plot (racing isn’t found as often as other sports!), the slow burn and banter.
I’ve been a fan of S.L. Scott for some time now. I discovered her books a couple of years ago and I’ve been making my way through her backlist ever since. When I saw the blurb to this book, I knew I needed to read this and I was not disappointed at all, she has once again delivered an excellent story that I managed to devour in one sitting.
Cash is an arrogant, grumpy bad boy you can’t help but fall in love with, even though you know you shouldn’t. He’s a drop-dead gorgeous race car driver AND a single dad (Can he get any more perfect?) and he can get any woman he wants with a snap of his fingers.
Marina is an actress and she’s a part owner of Wescott Racing. She’s the youngest in a family of brothers and two incredible parents. Her family are very protective of her, especially her brothers. Even though they have gifted her partnership in the racing business, her brothers struggle to see and realise that she is the independent, strong, accomplished, intelligent and focused woman she is… but she is all those things and she is fierce, absolutely gorgeous, witty, strong-willed and resilient and so much more.
From the moment Cash and Marina met, they clashed. From the beginning there is clearly tension of sorts between the two of them but the more time they spend together, the more they get to know each other and they form a friendship and it would appear that they understand each other on levels that others don’t. The more they get to know each other, the more they connect and share, their feelings for each other grow. Unfortunately, life isn’t that simple because Marina only recently broke up with her co-star and the fact that she is part owner of the team Cash races for, so it’s to be kept under wraps.
I’m not going to dive in any deeper, I feel like you need to go into this blind. It’s the best experience in my opinion.
This love story will make you laugh, make you cry, make you mad and make you swoon. From the very beginning, these two have had hurdles and obstacles the jump over but it only makes them stronger. There is so much growth between Cash and Marina, but also growth for them as individuals.
I absolutely loved this book, the characters, the family bonds, the friendship and the passion and love story. This book grabbed my attention from page one and held me captive til the very end. It was incredible, heartfelt, sexy, unique and unputdownable.
It was nice to see Marina Westcott as an adult, and even better to see her family supporting her in her relationships without serious threats to the man she's interested in. She's a rising star in Hollywood but really wants to get back to stage acting.
Cash Ryatt is a P1 driver with a reputation for being a little bad and a little reckless off the track. The truth is that he's a sucker for his 5 year old son, with a not so good relationship with his ex - Trepidy. Unusual name, I'm really curious where S.L. Scott came up with that one. Trepidation?
Cash works for the Westcott family, so even though Marina isn't actively involved, she's still part owner and therefore his boss. That doesn't really factor into their relationship though, which is a nice change from the usual boss/employee dynamic.
They meet, they clash, and they figure out that what they really hate is how much they want to be together. She's trying to save face in the wake of breaking up with her cheating ex who is also her co-star in the movie they're trying to finish.
Cash struggles with his feelings while he is recovering from an accident and unfortunately thinks he needs to choose saving his career over his relationship with Marina.
Their love language seems to be fighting so they can make up later.
Not my favorite book in the Westcott family of books, but I did enjoy it. Rating 4.25 with a good spicy level that includes a lot of love.
Noah and Olivia made me fall in love with Suzie's writing, and I met Marina in their story, so I was definitely intrigued. As the youngest Westcott and the little sister, Marina's brothers don’t see her for the strong, accomplished woman she is, despite gifting her part ownership in their racing business.
When Marina is at one of his races, Cash Ryatt sees her, boy does he see her, but the first time they meet is anything but cute. Cash makes quite an impression, but not the one he wants to. When Marina reaches out to him for help later that night, Cash is too much of a gentleman to say no.
What results is a forbidden, mostly long-distance, paparazzi-hounded relationship between two very different people – an affluent actress and a single-dad, race-car driver. With everyone in their business and everything working against them, these two people from very different worlds have a lot of challenges.
There are so many phenomenal elements in this one and I love it so much. The obvious is Cash and Marina’s love story. Then there are the dynamics between the Westcott family and seeing Marina with Cash’s mother and his son. Suzie also did something a little different when it came to Marina and Cash's ex, and it was unexpectedly wonderful. This one is sweet, funny, charming and heartfelt, and you won’t want to miss it.
SL Scott continues to excel and write such amazing stories! I love her books so much, especially The Wescott Family series! When I Had You ignites with forbidden desire and family loyalty. Readers are introduced to Cash Ryatt, the enigmatic racecar driver who's more than just a headline. He's the typical bad-boy racer with a Playboy reputation. Still, behind the eyes of the press is a sweet soul playing the role of a single dad.
Marina is the youngest Westcott sibling, striving to become an actress. As she sets her sights on Cash, his allure is undeniable, drawing her into a whirlwind of emotions despite the barriers that should keep them apart. With electrifying chemistry and slow-burning angst, this story explores the irresistible pull of love against the backdrop of high-stakes racing drama. I was hooked from the beginning and could not put this book down! I loved the dynamic between Cash and Marina and completely fell so hard for Cash. this is another great addition to the Westcott Family series. I highly recommend this one if you're in the mood for a fun yet emotional read about family, redemption, and finding true passion.
Cash Ryatt is a race car driver who is trying to rebuild his image and career. He sees Marina at a meet and greet and they get off on a bad foot. Marina is an actress who recently broke up with her co-Star fiance and he has no idea she is the sister to his new team owners. While they initially do not like each other, it is impossible to not feel the connection when they are together. What started as enemies turned friends and quickly changed into a relationship. Unfortunately, they have to hide their relationship from not only her family but the world. What could go wrong?
This was the first time reading this author and I enjoyed it. Stories with hidden relationships are always suspenseful and at the top of my trope list. I like that we got to see their connection grow from the beginning but the whole time I was waiting for their secret bubble to burst. S.L. Scott did not disappoint! Thank you for the ARC!
Marina and Cash tumble headfirst into love. Their journey, marked by mishaps and midnight rescues, wove an unexpected romance that blossomed defiantly in the face of those who'd keep them apart.
Each stolen meeting pulsed with raw emotion, their eagerness setting my heart aflame. The crackling sparks of first love ensnared me utterly in their story, a tale that unfolded with the inevitability of fate.
Their exchanges burned with a fire that would not be quenched, laying the groundwork for a passion that blazed brighter by the day. Each word, each glance, fueled the inferno of their attraction until it blossomed into something transcendent.
No love story is complete without its trials, and while the title hinted at heartache, the twists still left me breathless. I felt every pang of Marina and Cash's pain, my heart cheering them onward through each test of devotion. Suzie masterfully wove a narrative that built toward a pulse-pounding reckoning, pushing the lovers to their limits before delivering a satisfying, hard-won conclusion.
For me, CJ and Sebastian are a duo- pure, unadulterated perfection!
Yes!…Loved it!! please can I be Marina Westcott? For so many reasons….she is so badA, I loved everything about her! She has a beautiful heart, she’s feisty, she’s a little quirky but most of all she has captured the heart of Mr ‘I’m too swoony for my own good’ Cash Ryatt!!
How this author manages to write the unique bond of couples is just so perfect. The intimacy, the private jokes, the moments of just them…she impresses me every time!
Cash is the so-called bad boy of racing …but as we get to see him away from the track we realise just exactly who he is…..and what a treat! Marina has some pretty horrible stuff going on in her private life. Her sparring with Cash lights a fire in her battered heart bringing her feistiness to the fore, so much so that very quickly she just can’t get enough of their shared banter!
The late night texts and shared secrets make a beautiful foundation for what could be the most wonderful relationship…..
Loved this pair, loved the world this is written in and now I can’t wait for no-filter Poppy next!!
3.5⭐️ 2.5🌶 This is my first S.L. Scott book, so I went in blind to read this. It was a little slow start for me, but I did enjoy it. Cash is the bad boy race car driver and Marina is the actress and part owner of Westcott P1 Team. Cash is also a single dad and he doesn’t try to hide the fact that he has a kid that he loves beyond words. Cullen is the cutest thing ever and a true 5 year old kid.
Marina and Cash do not get along at the beginning but they start to build a friendship. They begin to understand each other in ways that others don’t. Their relationship is forbidden not only because she just broke up with her co-star but because she is part owner of the team that Cash drives for. The more you read the more you start to root for both characters to come together. They both grow through the story as well.
This book contains a 9 year age gap, grumpy/sunshine, sports romance, single dad.
This one didn’t quite hook me like others by this author. I wasn’t super in love with the MMC, so I was just kinda along for the ride. I didn’t love the first scene when he meets the FMC, he acted like an entitled brat. He was full of confusing contradictions. He lashed out at the FMC saying he didn’t want to be taken care of, but at the end was in awe because no one had every taken care of him before because his mom worked a lot. He made a big romantic gesture while they were together and showed up when he didn’t want her to be alone, but didn’t do more than send texts when things were rough. He was Katy Perry’s “Hot and Cold” basically. So I was left feeling hot flashes and whiplash. I loved Marina though, and loved seeing her growth into demanding what she deserves in life.
❤️ Tropes ❤️ 💋 celebrity romance 💋 actress FMC 💋 P1 driver MMC 💋 single dad 💋 forbidden love 💋 part owner of the team/driver 💋 friend’s little sister 💋 slight age gap (9 yrs)
When Marina caught her boyfriend cheating with someone on the same set that they were actively filming a movie on as lovers, she didn’t think going to see the race where her family owns a team would make anything worse. After all, they gifted her part ownership for her birthday. But when the arrogant driver knocks the phone out of her hand on his way by? Yeah. She’s had enough. She lays into him and her brothers stand by and smirk, doing nothing to save him. When she gets ready to go to her family’s for dinner that night, she realizes that not only is he invited, but they are sharing a car there. Guess things aren’t getting better any time soon.
When I Had You captured me from the start. This is Cash and Marina’s story. Cash is the bad boy race car driver who needs to adjust his attitude. He works for the Wescotts including Marina. She is the youngest Wescott and forbidden for Cash. Marina flies into Miami one weekend and makes an appearance at the race track. This is where the tension between her and Cash is first felt. Cash is portrayed as the bad boy, but Marina brings out the soft, caring side of him. I love the banter between them. The family dynamics, life struggles and overall plot kept me engaged and wanting more. I definitely am looking forward to reading Poppy’s story. Thank you The Literally Yours PR Team for this ARC.
I know I’m liking a book when all I can think about it reading the book, I was desperate to read this book, I was reading it at stoplights, I ate dinner slow to continue reading, and basically squeezed every page I could until I finished it!
I don’t read a lot of racing romance books but I am really developing a liking for this sport! Cash and Marina have amazing chemistry but an even better friendship, their phone calls and banter at the beginning of this book were top tier, I was hooked instantly!
I also love how the second half of this book player out, had a mix of predictable and unpredictable storylines that kept my attention on the book and these two character’s story! I can’t wait to continue this series!
These two were something else!! From the jump they had this back and forth banter that was very entertaining. She’s the off limits actress younger sister of his bosses and he’s the bad boy race driver. But Marina and Cash actually saw each other. They slowly developed a friendship that was beautiful watching its development. They understood each other but they still had lots to overcome before they were actually happy together. There is lots of emotions along with growth from both. There are heartbreaks and also beautiful moments but it’s worth the read and the journey. Beautiful love story.
I adore this story. The dynamics between the characters were on point. The way Cash loves made me swoon. I find that it is tough to write such a strong fmc without her becoming too big of a b word but this author did it. This pair fit well together… jagged pieces and all. I really, really enjoyed this story and recommend it.
Audio: Sebastian York & CJ Bloom. I really enjoyed this book. Forbidden love. Race car driver and up and coming actress. Also her brothers and her own Westcott Racing, and he’s their top driver. They fall fast and hard and she also loses her heart to his little boy. I need to go back and read the brother’s books. They can be read as a stand alone.
Marina and Cash had moments where it was sweet and believable and I did like them together, but I wasn't completely sold on their love story. Also, the conflict was a tad forced and the resolution was odd.
I also didn't enjoy how one paragraph would be taking place in one setting and one conversation/scenario and then in the very next paragraph, it had jumped to a completely different place or point in time. Need a bit more transition for a scene change.
The HOT race car driver that can't commit with a hot temper. The part owner of his race car team, actress, sister of said owners. Let's just say their first meeting is very interesting.... Now throw in that pull that just won't let them go, no matter how each of them tries to forget.
I literally loved everything about this book!! From their first meet, the tension between them, the phone calls that changed everything, his surprise appearance when she needed him the most, and just the way they were with each other. Cash is the bad boy of racing. He's been in the news a lot and hasn't really settled down much. He's busy with the racing career and co-parenting his son. Not a lot of people get to see this side of him. He's kept it private for the most part. He doesn't let a lot of people in. Here's what I love about Cash.. his heart, his dirty talk and how he is willing to go all in for his racing, his son and his woman. He may have the charm, when he's out in public and racing, but with his son and Marina, he is just a down to earth guy. A guy who wants to be happy. I, along with Marina, fell hard for him. There's just something about a guy like Cash, with his backstory, the way that he is with his son, his mom and how hard he works to make his dream a reality. Now to Marina. She's the youngest of the Wescott family and an actress trying to find her place in Hollywood. She's been rocked by an ex, who unfortunately she stars in a movie with, and just wants it to end. She meets Cash and doesn't fall for the charm. The more she gets to know him and really know him, some of her walls start to crumble. He helps her see what she could be and that there's really good men out there that care. It was so great to see her come out of her shell and shine. She is younger but that doesn't make her weak at all. She is s a strong character, with a heart of gold. She is his match at every step of the way. The one thing, I wasn't expecting to happen, was the emotion. This book will touch you and have you tearing up. I got so involved in this book and the characters in it, that I found myself in that hospital room, upset right along with Marina. I had all these thoughts and was hoping for the best. It was so nerve wracking... The author did an amazing job of bringing this story to life! I need more Cash and Marina!!!! I definitely have a book hangover from this book!! It was that good!!!!
So I was so excited to read this, it sounded amazing.
But the pacing and the writing was just not it.
80 pages in and he was already calling her his girl???? I felt like I started reading in the middle of a series, I had to double check this was a standalone.
It was okay, but it had way more potential it just fell flat for me.
Tropes: F1 racing, frenemy to lovers, single father, secret relationship, cinnamon roll MMC, famous FMC, he fall first x he falls harder, reformed player
Review: When I Had You was an emotional rollercoaster that I did not want to get off! SL Scott was amazing with Cash’s and Marina’s romance to the point where I wanted them to have a second book or extended epilogue…or something!! Marina was always a character that intrigued me since we saw snippets of her in the previous three books with her brother’s and finally getting her book just allowed me to love her more! Her and Cash were a story of frenemies to soul mates and the way their story developed drew me in from the initial meet-hate!
Marina’s chapters were more emotional for me and I appreciated how she took the time to evolve her character and back story. The way she struggled with her career, goals and the end of recent relationship made her seem more real as a character and the rawness added layers of emotion I LOVED in this book! SL Scott created her character perfectly to match Cash and the way she sucked him into the whirlwind of her life was hilarious and ironic since he was on probation for bad behavior. The way Marina was able to mature in this book and figure out what she wanted but also admit her love for Cash without wanting him to change made me tear up at times since his story was so razor-edged with intense emotions.
Cash Ryatt was the MAN in this book and I adored his love for Marina and his son Cullen. The bond SL Scott created with his son and mom made me fall in love with him all over again when we learned of them. I enjoyed how he did everything to make Cullen’s life better and was trying to be the best role model he could with his profession. The intensity of his attraction for Marina just added to how much I adored his character since it created a layer of maturity to his character. I enjoyed how she immediately became a priority in his life and how swooned so hard for her from the first sight. SL Scott may have out done herself with his character and I think Cash has become my favorite MMC she has ever written.
Cash and Marina were not a calm romance and the ups and downs they had were intense, emotional and angsty. The way their relationship brew form banter and phone calls to traveling across the country to see one another to casual hangouts with Cullen was utter PERFECTION! I loved how all the beauty of their romance was not eclipsed when things got hard and really LOVED how the third act break up was drawn from a real struggle with their characters. The way they had to overcome an obstacle that made their characters feel more like real people and less fictional drew me in even more and the heartache that followed made the HEA they ended up with that much better. SL Scott truly crafted a romance for the year in this book and I cannot wait to continue with whatever she brings next!
Rating: 100+, Cash Ryatt is EVERYTHING and what a way to end the Westcott siblings’ series!
ARC Book Review by Roxs Reads: When I Had You by S. L. Scott - Now Available Five stars all around: Overall story, Emotional Feels, Sexual Tension, Characters, Steam, World-building, just to name a few.
Sometimes you come across a book that you really resonate with; a book that just hits you in the gut with all the feels, makes you giddy, smile, and cry. That is how I felt about “When I Had You. Author S.L. Scott has delivered another show-stopper with the perfectly matched Marina Wescott and Cash Warren. Scott is more than deserving of a standing ovation for this Wescott sibling story.
Marina and Cash were not expecting to find love on the track, but after one slightly rocky meeting, a broken phone, and a late-night rescue, something happened; they were caught off guard and then love knocked them off their axis. Once that happened, no ban from a racetrack or threats from a boss was enough to keep them apart. Keeping their relationship behind closed doors added to the allure of this story.
I totally felt every emotion each time they saw each other. My heart beat faster as I was taken over by their excitement to see each other. First-love feelings were bursting from the pages. Words really can’t express how much I enjoyed reading this story.
The back-and-forth banter between these two packed a powerful punch. It set the tone for their fiery relationship. Their conversations were full of innuendoes, which just stoked the fire and built the sexual tension with each phrase. They watered the seeds of love slowly and let it grow into something beautiful.
Of course, no romance is complete without a little angst. I knew from the title that it would be coming, but the way it happened brought me to my knees. Ughh, I hated that for them. But as it turned out, a little self-reflection was good for our couple and Suzie pulled off a heart-pounding reunion. She didn’t make it easy for our couple but she made it so good!
Throughout the story, Marina’s best friend, Poppy, is right there with Marina. Cheering her on, being her guiding light, sense of reason, and ride-or-die girl. When Marina calls and Poppy answers the call with “on it,” I fell more in love with her. She’s a class act and an amazing friend. I’m so happy that she is going to be getting her own story. Maybe we’ll even get to see a little more of Marina and Cash too. Now that would be epic – hint hint Suzie 😊
When I Had Youby S.L. Scott is the fourth book inWestcott Familyseries. This particular story follows the youngest and only sister of the Westcott family; actress Marina Westcott and bad boy Race car driver Cash Ryatt through the telling of dual POVs in an Enemies to Lovers, Opposite Attract, Forbidden Romance.
Following Marina and Cash’s love story turned out to be a sweet and cute story that definitely made for somewhat of an entertaining journey too. There were other elements too giving more dimension to the narrative with all that occurred and took place throughout. From the beginning of Marina and Cash’s relationship journey, considering how it started between them it made for moments of laughter. Especially with the punches they packed giving it to one another, going back and forth, pushing and pulling. Always butting heads, so it was no wonder you couldn’t help but find it funny.
At the same time there was emotional moments, the feels coming out for both Marina and Cash in the lows they endured and suffered through. Particularly in Marina’s case. However the highs made it worth it in the end, particularly between the two in what they shared together. The fact that Marina was able to find comfort in Cash with him trying to be there for her in anyway, shape or form. Allowing herself to open up to him and truly be who she was without hiding behind her walls, something she did with her family. It had you rooting for Cash seeing how he always tried his hardest to conquer the metaphorical walls surrounding Marina, not wanting to give up.
The narrative had delivered with giving you a storyline that took you on a ride, considering the ups and downs, consisting of quite a bit of drama, paving way for suspenseful moments. And a lot of emotions courtesy of the emotional whirlwind as well as the angst that had put Cash and Marina through their paces.
With that said it can’t be denied that there was something about the story that made it hard for it to click for me, resulting in making it a little difficult for me to enjoy it as much as it had me expecting in the end since the connection wasn't always there for me personally. Also the lead up to the ending seemed a little rushed, especially after the climax hit. In my opinion it could’ve been paced out a little more.
In the end, Marina and Cash’s storyWhen I Had Youmanaged to be cute and light with still being a good read from author S.L. Scott.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
*An advance reader copy was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.*
Youngest Westcott sibling and only sister, Marina flew into Miami to support her brothers racing team and had heard the rumors about their hotshot driver. So, when Cash Ryatt came through after the qualifying race to do a little meet and greet, she ignored him. Cash saw this beautiful woman, who looked like she’d rather be anywhere but there, and wasn’t having it… he deliberately knocked her phone out of her hand and continued walking. Not a meet cute in any way, shape or form.
It wasn’t until later that night at dinner with the owners, after antagonizing each other at the hotel, that Cash realized that Marina wasn’t just another pretty face. She was not only a Westcott, but she held a share in the team. That should have doused the interest he had in her, but it seemed to have the opposite effect.
You could tell by their banter and quick comebacks, that they’d be fire together. The way Cash called Marina “Babe”, which at first she disliked, but it soon turned into something more. Even while they were physically separated (her in Canada finishing a film shoot where her ex was her co-star and he was traveling the globe on the racing circuit), the attraction grew. They had to be careful, especially since her three older brothers (Harbor, Loch, and my favorite, Noah) were Cash’s bosses.
When Cash wasn’t racing, he was home in New York City and dad to his son, Cullen. He wanted to spend as much time with his son as Cullen’s mother would allow. You could see how much Cash loved his little boy.
I’m not going to spoil the ‘big thing’ that happened to make Cash be the first one to pull away. Even though my bet was that it was going to be Marina. And it had nothing to do with the fact that he was a father. The better question is who was going to break first and be brave enough to open up to the other? Was it all going to work out in the end? Were all three of the Westcott brothers going to come down hard on Cash for hurting Marina? Were Cash and Marina ever going to get their Happily Ever After?
Sports Romance is my catnip. So are Single Dads in books. As are the words of SL Scott. This was a perfect combination of all three. I am happy that we’re going to get Poppy’s (Marina’s best friend) story next. I wasn’t quite ready to leave the Westcott’s orbit yet.
