When her husband, the man she'd dated since middle school, cheated on her because she couldn't bear his children, Amanda felt the worst betrayal she'd ever been dealt. After a year spent going along with the mistress's rules about her place or lack thereof in the affair baby's life, she had enough and called it quits on the relationship that she had foolishly thought could be salvaged. Now she's started a new life in a new town where she meets the man who would change her life forever. Thunder fell in love with Amanda when he first saw her two years before, but after learning that she was married, he thought there would never be a chance for them as he had no intentions of going after a married woman. So imagine his surprise when he walks into the new bakery in town to find that she's the new owner. Sparks fly when these two finally get together and the once broken woman finds that there can be life after betrayal.

Married at 24, bough a new house at 27, she is in finance and he is a proffessor. You get my point. Now below is Dan and his mother breaking the news to the heroine that Dan has gotten a 22 year old TA pregnant. The mother in law of h is proud and Dan is just sad. (Oh yead bitch you son of a mothereffing monkey)
READ THIS, NO YOU READ THIS RIGHT THE FUCK NOW--
They both tried to argue, and that’s when I snapped out of it and snapped. I don’t recall what all was said and done, but I know by the time I calmed down, she was gone, and Dan was trying to hold me. We were both in tears at this point, and I knew what it felt like to want to die. I wished for death as the most excruciating pain ate away at my insides, and I fell to the floor, bawling my eyes out and trying not to throw up on myself. We had sex right there on the floor in the hallway. It was wild and hot, and I came so hard, harder than ever before, I think. That night, we had sex three more times, and each time, I cried throughout and felt numb and empty after. Trauma bonding, now I know what that feels like.
If I were in a rock band, I would be breaking my guitar on stage infront of 10000 audience. THIS GIRL ...soryy.....WOMAN.......SHE HAS ABSOLUTELY ZERO SPINE.
Oh I had his d**k in me after he cheated on me, oh i cried as i came the hardest i ever have.
I aint wastin no more breath on this shit. Ion care what happens next, Im not staying for the pity party, poopy party whatever you wanna call it.
Okay, I took one for the team, and I really wanted to dnf this book many times. I pushed on.
Amanda this woman was weak as fuck. From being cheated on, staying in a relationship for a whole year, and watching your husband make a family. I'm glad she finally said enough and left. But still gross that she SLEPT WITH HIM AFTER HE TOLD HER HE CHEATED. bless this wasn't the MMC.
Help from her family and moved away, finally finding her feet and meeting Thunder a gangster or whatever he did with his younger sister. He met Amanda 2 years ago, but he left because she was married. Now shes single, and he's going to claim her.
Now Thunder was good until she got prego, and I felt like his character changed. He was more asshole than loving.
He hated her female doctor because he didn't like new ways of pregnancy.. he didn't want an ultrasound, so he was mad when she gave birth to 3 kids. Buddy, that was on you. He kept complaining he didn't want any girls because there was a pain in the ass and he got one girl he was "nooo" then fell in love.. I'm so glad he changed his mind on that. When Amanda made a tiny mistake on going by herself to the doctors solo, her ex found her, and the mother slap her. He was mad because she went by herself and caused danger. She didn't have a violent past, so she didn't need to worry. But as punishment, he iced her out a little and gave himself pressure, and her nothing did husband things but was cold. Until she said sorry. He finally got he was being an asshole and was sorry. Still, he was a dumbass.
Amanda sister fuck her to death. She needs to be tossed to the ground.. im sorry but your job was suppose to be on your sister's team To always sell her sister out to Thunder on her feeling was so ugh.
There was more stuff.. but honest, it was a train wreck, and I won't be reading this author.

4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Liked it! ================== I almost gave up reading because our heroine has an unbelievable reaction to her husband's betrayal. She is so inactive and numb accepting all the demands of her mother-in-law and the cheating couple. She is really stunned and trying to hold on to a relationship that began in childhood, but was disintegrating. The mother-in-law was more like a bulldozer making everyone obey her and the OW's orders. I was ready to throw my precious Kindle against the wall and stop reading. Glad I persevered. Because our heroine snaps and starts reacting. From there the reading becomes interesting and when I noticed it was 6 am and it was almost time to get up and start my day. I was extremely satisfied with the fate of the ex-husband, the ex-mother-in-law and the OW. In several paragraphs I found myself with a huge smile on my face. And our hero... an OTT dude who checks all the alpha male protagonist boxes. Every cheater should have this karma biting them in the ass. I recommend.
I was interested in reading this and about 30%ish in that interest was gone. I read it all just to see if it got better and it didn't. There is no cheating between the main H x h but there is cheating in this book and you also get povs from the ex husband (the cheater), the mistress (baby mama) and the ex's mother, which I did not enjoy reading at all.
The main reason I didn't enjoy reading this is because it didn't read like a love story and the whole time I was hoping Amanda (the h) would just leave everyone behind and start over because every other character was annoying as fuck especially the Hero and her sister who spent all the time she was on page praising the H and dobbing the h in to him and I mean she told the H everything her sister told her, there was no sister loyalty at all in my opinion.
Sorry for the rambling but jesus there was just so much crap in this story. On the bright side thanks to this book I found another trope/character type I hate and will now be on the lookout to avoid (sister who is a meddling bitch)
Also what happened to the Alpha male types the Author supposedly likes to write about cause all this dude did was complain and bulldoze over any intelligence that might show up (he literally won't let the h get an ultrasound because he read in a baby book from the freakin 19th that it's bad and then complains about the doctor not telling them their having multiples even though there is literally no way for her to confirm without a fucking ultrasound)
Okay rant over don't read this it sucks.

I’ve been enjoying this series. It’s not as trashy as her typical stuff, but this one had loads of drama-llama. The blurb sets it up, Amanda learns her husband (Dan) has not only cheated but impregnated another woman. (Diedra) She tries to push through but is pushed too far and moves on to greener pastures.
The good- 🟩 Amanda is put through the RINGER by her husband, OW, and her nasty MIL for the first 15%. I gobbled it up. 🟩 Complete upgrade in Thunder. (hotter, richer, better in bed) 🟩 I loved how dedicated Thunder was to Amanda (she deserved it) and gave zero fucks about kicking or slapping any bitch that tried to hurt her. 🟩 I liked getting the villains POV’s especially when their lives were falling apart. 🟩 Comeuppance for all. 🟩 Great length for the content. 🟩 So much drama.
The not-so good- ❌ The plot really slowed down after she moved until things heated up with Thunder. (about 20-40%) ❌ I wish she would’ve had more of a backbone the first 15%. I loved that life shit on her but wish she would’ve pushed back and not just turned into a mope. This could’ve generated more drama and angst if she wouldn’t have just laid down and took it. ❌ I hated that Amanda slept with Dan after he cheated on her. ❌ I felt like there were too much secondary character filler especially after she moved. I’m guessing these might be previous characters from other books, but I don’t need the cameos.
Bottom Line- This is for readers that enjoy their smut served with a heaping bowl of drama-llama. (think Jerry Springer) You’ll need to be ok with OTT shenanigans and Insta-love. If you hate her doormat-ty ways, be patient, she upgrades.
This book had potential for angst but it dropped the ball pretty quickly and then morphed into A caricature. I’ve read better comic books! One of the biggest problems— it has 5 different POV’s and this is NOT a RH. You have the H And h, then you have the ex husband and his Mommy and his baby momma. Could I just say I Don’t give a flying fk about side characters POV’s. Any way this is like a stupid scenario —- I mean I don’t even think the Jerry Springer show producers would buy this crap! So Amanda and Dan- not the H- are childhood sweethearts and have been together since when. They stay together through college and get married In their mid 20’s. They are now 30 or 31. They can’t get pregnant. According to Dan and his Mother it’s Amanda who is the problemo. His Mother really wants a baby. So professor Dan cheats with a student. Amanda finds out and stays with him fcking his brains out all the while crying over his cheating. The baby momma says Amanda can’t be involved and Dan starts acting like the baby mommas husband but still lives with and has crazy sex with Amanda. One night when Amanda wasn’t expected she catches Dan and baby mom in bed. It was a set up but there’s also a lot of mistreatment of Amanda’s feelings by Dan et al. So finally after a year of putting up With this shiz she finally divorced Dan at around 40%. She is in finance so she moves an hour away and becomes a baker/ She meets Thunder the H over cupcakes. Thunder is a billionaire quasi biker who grows pot and he lives in a castle. Thunder saw Amanda at her finance job 2 years ago and it was love at first sight. She didn’t see him. Anyway he found out she was married and was heartbroken for months. Now he quickly takes charge and moves her in, impregnating her with triplets (We all knew that Dan was the real problemo) all the while lavishing her with gifts galore. It’s okay Amanda is into it. Thunder has like 6 body guards tailing pregnant Amanda at all times yet when she runs into Her ex etc his Mom manages to slap her. Thunder gets pissed and goes to Dans house and breaks his wrist and also bitch slaps Dans Mommy…so baby momma Deirdre decides to ditch Dan who has become an alcoholic chubster and go after the H Thunder. She goes to his office to get a job just as Amanda is bringing him lunch. She tries to make a pass at Thunder but he sees it coming and gives her a flying drop kick to the stomach. Amanda comes in as Deirdre flies through the air. Pregnant with triplets Amanda then face punches and beats the crap out of ow baby momma Deirdre…. Meanwhile Thunder plants a lot of pot at Dans house 51 pounds—and gets his cop friends to bust him but wait Dierdre comes home and stabs Dan almost to death. Dan later dies, and Dierdre is arrested for murder and thrown in jail to rot, Dans mommy dearest loses everything including her husband who marries his mistress and the baby that began this saga that Dan and his Mom thought was his actually was NOT. Dan was the sterile one hahahahahahaha you say too many run on sentences???? Just trying to stay true to the book😇

Wow. This was so much better than I thought. It got dark.
I absolutely love thunder man. (The progeny names too btw lolol). He was so funny when he talked to himself about dark things. Such a great character. Such a “touch her and you dieeee”
I loved the story line. So character driven. So much heart and angst and emotion.
This was my first book by this author and Defn not my last
I've read Jordan Silver's stories for a very long time, and she's come a LONG way since she started out. This story began so freaking angsty. My heart broke completely for poor little Amanda. ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I read Stealing My Ex and though it was decent. This one started off ok but by the rnd I mostly skimmed it past 70 percent. The plot just seemed to go off the rails. This is a revenge book..where everyone that betrayed the fmc gets karma on the end. Including her cheating ex husband, the other woman that came between the fmc and ex, I trodcing a child to thr mix and the ex mil.
I liked the new love aspect, Thunder was a perfect guy for her l. However the karma just seemed to go from mild to severe in a few chapters.
The main focus of the karma seemed to be with the Other Woman. There were a few chapters in her pov amd it's clear she was the bad guy in the situation, planning and scheming her way into the ex husbands life and destroying the marriage with only selfish intentions. The ex and the mil suffered a cruel twist of fate at the OWs hand but the Other Woman was the clear villian in the story.
The author must be high when writing this because this shit was funny (either that or I’m just in a good mood). Thunder’s thoughts and Thunder himself is a menace a funny menace.
This book has 5 POVs: -Amanda (FMC) -Thunder (MMC) -Dan (Amanda’s ex-husband) -Cecile (Dan’s annoying mother) -OW’s name that I forgot.
Story started with Amanda discovering her husband cheated with the OW and got her pregnant. This is a cause of joy for both Cecile and Dan since they believed Amanda is barren. She then became a doormat for the first few chapters, allowing everyone to walk over her and prioritize the baby until she had enough and asked for divorce. She moved on another town where she then met Thunder. That’s where the story picked up. Thunder is actually the gayest manly MMC I’ve ever read. I can’t describe it properly more than that 😭but his thoughts had me cacklin making him sound like high all the time.
Don't ask me why, but I went back and finished this, eventually realizing this book is actually a dark comedy. This doesn't really become evident until about halfway through.
The characters are caricatures, especially Thunder.
Even so, I'm not a fan. It's probably the most well written, yet terrible, book I've ever read.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
If I rated books I DNF, this would be a one star. But I don't rate them since without finishing it I don't feel it's fair to rate the entire book when I don't have the full picture.
DNF: 44%
WTF am I even trying to read?
This is a hard starter with an h who has been trying for 3 years to get pregnant with her husband, but instead of seeing fertility doctors to see if there are physical reasons why they are struggling her husband knocks up some other conniving chick to prove any fertility problems have nothing to do with him.
The conniving preggo has big dreams so she CONTACTS HIS MOTHER who is so desperate for a grandchild that she tries to take over the whole situation telling the h that she will accept her husband's bastard and continue their marriage while making the baby and baby mama part of their family. For. The. Sake. Of. The. Child.
WHAT?!?! And then MIL can't figure out why the h (who put up with this shit for far too long) divorces the husband. Yet even after this we are getting chapters in the POV of the MIL, the husband, and the baby mama.
So the h moves away after the divorce and through divine intervention opens a bakery. Through the bakery she meets the H. Once.
Now this part... (sigh). So the H (by the name of Thunder) is a dirty billionaire drug dealer who rescues kids, including his younger sister. (Really????)
He saw the h once, a few years ago, in passing in a hallway at her former job and somehow became obsessed with her. He finds out her name, does a background check, discovers she's married and EVEN THOUGH IT NEARLY KILLS HIM AND HE REMAINS OBSESSED he walks away. Until he sees her at her new bakery, does an update on the background check, to find she's now divorced and he's making his move.
She delivers cupcakes to the raging party he lets his little sister have at his castle and he takes her to the rooftop terrace where he fucks her, while thinking phrases like "cock snot", and how he's going to fit all 11 inches of himself inside her. Decides he might have an easier time of it if they move to his bedroom. In the bedroom he "needed to get to the deepest part of her, something I knew was going to hurt like hell, but I felt like if I didn't womb fuck her my possession wouldn't be complete."
So after warning her (as he's slamming into her) that it would hurt) he, "pulled my hips back and fucked hard into her, slamming my cock past her cervix to the opening of her womb...She fainted just as her cervix snapped closed around my shooting cock head,"
Seriously??? I don't think this is even physically possible, let alone desirable, even with an S&M kink.
Honestly, WTF?!?!
I just can't.

Read like a hastily written first draft by an alien who got all their information about humanity via hentai and telenovelas.
Nobody acts like a real human being. I couldn't understand why the FMC did... anything, nor how the MMC not only lived to adulthood, but also got super rich. He also displays a DEEP misunderstanding of cis female anatomy, which makes me wonder if the author also doesn't know shit. The villains (who get some POV chapters of their own) were OTT ridiculous, and not in an entertaining Snidley Whiplash kinda way.
This begins badly or sadly really. 3.65* Best in the series imo.
The poor h is really treated in a very sorry way by her stupid, wishy-washy and cheating husband. And the evil duo of MIL and ow. I hated how she behaves like a doormat for quite a while- forgiving her husband and accepting the ow's pregnancy and a secondary status as she is 'barren'. Letting the ow and MIL demean and de-humanize her.
Her moving away and meeting the fantastically besotted H is what elevates the book. I love how he loves her. He saw a few years ago, and fell for her - but then kept his distance as she was married. His obsession with her gives a very were-wolfy, mate-y feel. And I think the author also played around with it before leaving things in the human MC realm. Her bakery and how his minions take care of her are cute touches. And ofc, it wasn't the h who had infertility issues - and the H proves it and how! By getting morning sickness of his own!
His sister's traumatic past and his protectiveness of her adds another depth. I hope she has or gets a book.
Damn. Is this your first Jordan Silver? Then, you're probably going to fucking hate this one. Go no further. Get away from this author.
Unless you're me. And you're in too deep.
Because what other books can I get the fuckery like a man going sympathetic labour pain instead of the wife? What book that can guarantee mind fuckery like a man high kicked the female villain in the stomach when she tried to seduce him? What book that can promise me guys with unrealistic cock sizes, no medium sizes coochies here too peeps.
In the end, why does it even matter? As long as I'm having fun right? Fictional, guys. Fictional.
To be honest though, don't read this if you're easily offended. Seriously.
h's childhood bestie and now professor hubs can't deal w their infertility and falls prey to criminal, con trickster who claims he impregnated her! Evil ow machinations are finally successful and she escapes to soon find new love interest Don't worry, the drama is far from over! Jordan Silver is a master w these angst laden, sexy drama llamas!
Hated the first chunk but liked the romance with the hero. There’s a lot with what she put up with in the beginning from her ex but everyone gets what they deserve. She definitely was a doormat for her ex but at least she eventually got her bearings and never looked back.
Loved the H he is out typical JS hero. I did kinda feel bad for her ex in the end but it was what it was. Classic crazy OTT characters. It’s just a soap opera
Amanda and her husband had their life planned since they met in school. College, good job, nice home and then babies. When the babies did not come she finds out her husband has been cheating on her and the woman he cheated with is now pregnant. Betrayed and hurt Amanda initially sticks by her husband but when it is clear she is just going to be walked all over and her feeling do not exist she files for divorce, moves and starts over.
Thunder saw Amanda a few years ago and believed then she was his one. She was married though and he would not break up a marriage. Now she is in his town with a bakery and single. Thunder acts on his feeling, he knows Amanda is slow to trust again but he is going to prove she is it for him. Will they find happily ever after or will the past try to tear them apart?
Initially I was wondering about Amanda but she was hollow with hurt and I think took sometime to grasp everything. When she gets together with Thunder it is intense and an entertaining story evolves. If you like Over the top (he is very over the top) alpha males this is for you.
Oddly enough, this book is considered a love triangle cheating trope romance, but so many of those words are not true. Replacing My Ex was a disturbing read without the dark romance funsies.
Plot: Here we have the FMC, Amanda, thinking she's living her best life with her middle school sweet heart. The only missing puzzle piece is a baby. Her and Dan try, but it just isn't happening. In his despair, he cheats, and then our sordid story begins.
Characters: All of the characters were like pantomimes. None of them seemed real or human, just exaggerations. I actually felt sorry for Dan as his life unrivaled the book read as a farce. Amanda was a conduit of revenge against cheaters fantasy concoted, and Thunder was the wraith. Thunder was written as an alpha amongst alphas, but of course, he's a bajillionaire. Raising his sister only thinks about making Amanda his-- he had the money to do it. Amanda, a money market person who does a complete personality transplant, switches to the romance novel safe career as a baker. Dan, he scrub must let his life completely unfold and pay the ultimate price for being dumb, getting drugged, having a narcissistic mother, and falling into depression. Cheaters don't deserve to breathe joy again in life 😄
Writing: The writing style was odd. It comes across as a writing exercise or experiment with the trope. Characters are kicked in the gut across rooms, drugged, wrists snapped broken and are sensibly ok after shaking it off sort of.

This was cute. The ex was an idiot and I liked seeing the FMC turn her life around and find happiness. I also like how the lives of the ex and his mom and the skanky female the ex had an affair with, fell apart after she left, even before the help of the new man. Thunder, the new guy, was obsessive and obviously crazy but loved her a bunch, which I can appreciate.
I skimmed the last bit because it was obvious how things would end but liked the ride. Not a lot of substance but that's OK. I'm looking for my grovel fix because of a book I read three books ago where the MMC did not get his kick in the pants. This is scratching that itch but not sure I'm done yet. LOL.
Great story. It wasn’t quite as smutty as I’ve come to expect from Jordan Silver but it certainly wasn’t any less addicting. The first part was heartbreaking but it turned around into a funny, sexy and vengeful tale that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Cannot abide a doormat heroine. The H was OTT and not in a good Colton Lyon way. I hope the ex gets his in spades, but am not sticking around to find out. I enjoyed the first in this series, now that’s a girl who knows her rights-and her lefts! And how to keep her dignity. DNF
