While Samuel Hahnemann has been given great respect, most especially by advocates of holistic medicine, for being the “Father of Homeopathy,” he has not, in my opinion, been recognized for the revolutionary leaps in logic that it took to develop the philosophy and practice of homeopathy in an era, more than two hundred years ago, in which the science of the day was ill equipped to understand, much less support the physics of homeopathy. I wanted to take a moment and consider just what a visionary achievement the development of homeopathy represents and to celebrate Samuel Hahnemann for his “quantum leap” in medicine.Although he holds no medical degree, Vinton McCabe has taught thousands of students, laypersons and medical professionals alike both the philosophy and the practice of homeopathic medicine. As he puts it, “It was through my own struggle with illness and with the understanding of the healing process that I became passionately involved in the study of homeopathy, something that I have been doing now for almost thirty years. And the more I learned, the more I understood, the more I wanted to share it with others so that they could better understand themselves and their own ability to heal.” His passion for healing has lead McCabe to author or coauthor seven books on holistic healthcare and the Kindle series "Homeopathy in Philosophy and Practice".
