The Drivers’ Championship should be the only thing on my mind. I want to win more than anything. I’ve been training to become World Champion almost my whole life. Last season, I came so close, almost got what I dreamed of for so long, and then it was snatched from me at the last race. History won’t repeat itself this year. I’m focused. I’m prepared. I’m ready. Nothing can distract me.
At least, that’s what I thought.
Until I met her.
Nevaeh Fuchs is off-limits. I’m the heartbreaker of Formula One. I know that. Everyone else knows it, too, and yet, I find myself drawn to her with every smile, every moment I spend in her presence. I didn’t believe in romantic love or relationships. I thought they ended in destruction, but now, after meeting Nevaeh, I don’t care about getting destroyed. I only care about making her mine in the same way I’ve become hers.
adrian, that’s it that’s the review 🧎. okay but in all seriousness I loved this book I’m so glad I listened to bridget when she kept telling me to read reserved and saying I’ll like it more than jump-start (which I love jump-start & did love this book more than jump-start). Adrian gives massive lando norris vibes with his humor and ugh he’s just everything. nevaeh is a strong powerful woman who wanted to be a reporter for tennis but due to there being no spots available was put into f1 where she met adrian again 🤭. I love me a good forbidden love forced proximity romance. overall this was so cute, this is a slow burn but it’s well worth the wait. I definitely recommend this to any f1 fan
#Review: *Reserved* - Bridget L. Rose [18+] 5/5✨ 3/5🌶️ [Fun, spicy and emotional-anxiety attacks]
If is a story about Formula 1, then I'm going to give it a chance🥰. I kept seeing this book on Instagram and it made me super curious about it.
We have a forbidden romance and that was a very big plus for me. I loove these kind of stories💕.
Neveah needed a distraction after her career in tennis was over because of an injury. She loved the sport, so she tried to get a job as a reporter, but she ended up having one in Formula 1 area. Here, she will meet again the man who got her flustered a couple of months ago. Adrian Romana, a Formula 1 driver, caught Neveah's attention, but the attraction was from both sides. Adrian was affected even more by the beautiful Neveah.
Even though the tension between them was palpable, they couldn't act towards it, because of Neveah's job - she was forbidden to date any F1 driver. That made the story so juicy, because of this forbidden motive. They kept their hands to themselves, loving the banter which was built. That was until both of them couldn't resist the temptation anymore and gave into their strong feelings. But that came with a lot of uncertainty about Neveah's job and they tried their best to keep it a secret.
I liked the whole gang which was around them: Adrian's sister, Val, other F1 drivers and the ones from his staff. They were really fun and supportive of both Adrian and Neveah. I didn't like Neveah's boss that much or her former F1 friend, Lincon.
I really, really liked this book, having the right balance between the love story and the F1 side. It had some mental health parts too, which were touched pretty well. The ending left me with some questions and I cannot wait to read the next part. If you like Lauren Asher's 'Dirty Air' series, you'll definitely love this one too🩵.
SCATHING REVIEW TIME!!!!!!!!! oh this was sooooo bad. the writing and editing made me want to cringe (not in the cute way) like a hundred times during the book. And i feel like a lot of authors try so hard to make their MMCs likeable (yes ofc that requires a lot of effort) that their FMCs have the personality of an unsalted boiled vegetable. In this case however, both of them had a personality that I imagine would taste like cardboard. The story would’ve been tolerable if the characters and writing were better. Needless to say, I won’t be reading further. I sat through a book beginning to end and that was a win, i guess.
okay, let me start by saying tiktok disappointed me on this one. It was decent and if i wasn't so critical of f1 stuff i maybe would've liked it a little more. the first big chunk of the book was repetitive, like we get it adrian, you will never love someone. But the last like 25% of it was actually really good. One of those books that I would recommend but with the warning that it's not a super easy read.
Thank you Bridget for the arc💓 such a pleasure speaking to you every time and happy release day
TW: anxiety, grief, traumatic injury , child abandonment. (in the past)
I was the most excited about Adrian's story, he was my favorite character in all the other books. I had HUGE expectations so maybe that's why I couldn't love the book as much as I wished.
The scenes were so well thought and romantic, Bridget always does such healthy and sweet chilli relationships. Both Adrian and Nevaeh were sweethearts and I love them.
The story was my main problem, it felt like a lot of smooth sailing and instant connection. We never got the "playboy" ish side of Adrian, he changed as soon as he saw her. Part of why I loved Jump-Start so much, they fought with their teeth the attraction, it was so slow and brutal. Here, everything was perfect and handed to me on a plate.
For some reason, I couldn't care less about the minor conflicts, like her parents, Lincoln. They got repetitive and offered me nothing in addition. I wish they were replaced with more conflict between the two of them, or circumstances where they were separated, fighting etc. It would have added some more depth to the relationship, but that's just me. Someone else might prefer the smooth sailing.
I didn't read this at the right time, but I think nothing will trump Jump-Start for me. Their book was too perfect for my tastes. I though Adrian might do the trick, but apparently not😂
I need to know about that ending cause it seems crazy right now???? Like, there's some "plot holes" you need to explain now miss honey Bridget. Cause I'm confused af, but excited to get even more deep into this story.
I don't even know how to describe the honor I had of being able to be an ARC reader for this release A book lando coded one of the best things ever 5 Stars and anyone who gives less to this work of art that should be in a museum must be wrong Every scene in this book, every bit of the story is perfect.
Man I love formula one and man do I love formula one romances 👏🏼 I really made myself savor this one even though all I wanted to do was devour it. The way Bridget has been teasing this one on insta made me so thirsty for it I knew I needed to make it last. And picturing Lando Norris as the main character? Yeah I enjoyed that a lot. I chose to read this one before reading the rest of the series (because I’m impatient) and with the way it’s written you definitely get enough info about all of the characters to feel like you really know them. That being said, I will be going back and reading all the others. Anyways, I enjoyed this book so much. The characters were so fun and layered individually but came together so well. Adrian might be the love of my life? I love me a funny guy so much and I’m so glad we got his pov so we could see that he isn’t just some happy go lucky guy. I need more of him immediately. And his mouth? Yes. Just, yes. The steam in this was down right yummy. The found family in this was so freakin good it made me feel left out, I wanna be in their friend group so badly. And of course the F1 bits were amazing and made me wish it was race day every day I was reading this. Ugh, I just love them. I cannot wait to go read the rest and ummm… imma need the next one 👀
Thank you endlessly Bridget for giving me early access to this after I went totally spastic on your account 🤍
Holy moly! Before I start I would like to thank the author for inviting me to be part of her ARC team. I know this is Adrian’s book, but I’m sorry Navaeh took the cake. As a person with anxiety I absolutely connected with her through the authors accurate portal of my experience with anxiety. I can’t wait to read more of Navaeh and Adrian’s journey. I am falling more and more in love with their story and can’t wait to see how they support each other through their grief.
Before I start this review I want to thank the author, Bridget, for giving me the opportunity to read and review an ARC of Reserved and want to express how grateful I am.
In all the books I’ve read in the Pitstop series, the author has never failed to make me fall in love with her characters, and Adrian and Nevaeh were no except to this. Every book in this series holds a connection to an emotion I didn’t know I felt and to be able to feel everything Nevaeh and Adrian were feeling, whether it was their anxiety, grief, happiness, etc. was so special. The writing was very well done, it didn’t feel like trying to decipher a code that I’ve experienced with other sports romances and the plot was perfectly unexpected.
The build up to the plot twist at the end was executed so perfectly, I was feeling so anxious in the last ten chapters, sort of empathizing with Nevaeh’s anxiety and I think made the impact of the last chapter so much better. The forbidden aspect of their relationship while also being around each other at the track had me on the edge of my seat constantly worried that they were going to get caught.
Not to mention it’s been days since ive finished the book and I keep thinking back to the plot and connecting dots and making realizations and theories relating to the plot twist. This is easily one of my top books of the year. Definitely a 4.5/5 stars.
Nevaeh aspiring Formula 1 journalist, who is trying to break away from family ties and establish herself on her own. Adrian, Formula 1 driver, driving for Velocita Rossa on the hunt for his first driver championship victory.
A string of unpredictable run ins between the pair until they realised that they will be working together for the foreseeable future. Nevaeh bags her dream job in the world of Formula 1 as a journalist. However, this book is a forbidden, workplace romance in which although Nevaeh and Adrian want to be together, they are unable to be due to the positions of which they both hold. Being in a relationship could compromise the work in which Nevaeh is trying to achieve, as she could be seen to favour Adrian.
This book was something. It was a published wattpad fan fic. It was advertised as a Lando Norris inspired story however you would be able to tell that. The story also makes not sense, playboys who don’t want to settle down into a relationship don’t just meet stranger, all of a sudden become obsessed and what to settle down with them. If you are going to be secretive about a relationship, be secretive about it, don’t hook up in place surrounded by people you work with who could catch you. That was just asking to be found out and just made the story infuriating.
I can excuse some of the forced plot points and how loosely everything was strung together (which makes sense given there’s a part 2), but what I will not forgive is two Europeans calling”football” “soccer”. Genuinely inexcusable. Edit: I just remembered that everyone kept describing rules and information in their head. As their own thoughts. Like why tf is Adrian mid race explaining DRS to himself?? He’a literally been a driver for years??
the dialogue in this was so stiff. there was no natural flow to it and it made it so hard to finish. i felt really disengaged with the story. her constant bickering with lincoln felt so forced and honestly had me skipping most of their dialogue/interactions.
Reserved (book one) and Diffuse (book two) by Bridget L Rose
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - beautiful and real
Reserved is a fast, exciting, and heartfelt romance set in the glamorous world of Formula One racing. Adrian Romana is a focused, determined driver with a reputation for being a heartbreaker—until he meets the beautiful Nevaeh Fuchs, a strong and relatable journalist.
Diffuse picks up right after Reserved and takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. Adrian is under intense pressure to win the Formula One championship while still dealing with the grief and pain from his past. Nevaeh is his safe place, but even their relationship is tested as the weight of expectations and old wounds threaten to pull them apart.
The way Bridget writes their struggles feels so real. You can truly feel Adrian’s heartache and Nevaeh’s fierce love for him. The found-family moments with friends like Gabriel and Valentina bring warmth and balance to the heavier scenes. The story also touches on mental health in a sensitive, authentic way, making it relatable and powerful.
On top of the emotional depth, there’s romance, tension, and just enough spice to make it addictive. By the end, you’re left feeling like you’ve been right there with them, cheering for their love and their healing.
Both books balance raw emotion with tender romance, meaningful friendships, and just the right amount of spice. By the end, you’ll be rooting for Adrian and Nevaeh as much as you would for your favorite race team. They leave you with a racing heart, a tear in your eye, and a smile on your face. A definite win for romance and F1 fans! 🧡💛🩷♥️
I enjoyed this book so much! What I enjoyed most is just how real the characters felt to me. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I found Nevaeh’s story easily relatable. I was able to have the same connection with Adrian in regards to his complex relationship with grief.
The found family aspects of this book were chef's kiss! I absolutely loved the vibes between all of the main characters and side characters!
The tension between Neveah and Adrian was everything! These two are such easy characters to fall in love with while reading! These characters just proved that blood doesn't always define a family. It's the people that love you unconditionally that make up a family.
Bridget, I’m sending you my therapy bill for that ending because WHAT THE HELL! JK ILY But how are you gonna just drop that bomb on us like that, and then leave us?! Also, when I catch Lincoln, he can catch these hands for sure!
All in all, I had such a blast reading this book and I look forward to reading the second half of Adrian and Nevaeh’s story in the future!
Thank you to Bridget L. Rose for sending me this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
When your new job is to write about some hunky f1 drivers but your boss strictly prohibits dating any of the drivers…
I must say I have rather enjoyed reading this over the f1 weekends, and it has been an easy read with some really great characters! There’s always something going on, you can’t get bored!
Obviously Adrian is very dreamy but I must say I really enjoyed the depth of some of the other characters in this in-fact it was nice to read a great female friendship between Nevaeh and val with no unnecessary drama for the sake of plots!
Deffo recommended to any f1 fan readers! I would love to now go and read Bridget’s f1 book collection so see the characters in this world as well being very eager to read the next book after that cliff hanger!
I honestly loved this book even before I started it because Adrian. Like, very simply put, Adrian. I have to say, I did love Nevaeh but getting to know Adrian through Reserved was one of my very favorite things! His vulnerability, his love for Nevaeh, down to the teeny little gestures, he’s a cutie (as he should be).
Nevaeh’s story and struggles were also so wonderfully written and authentically expressed. Bridget NEVER misses with the emotion and this one is no different. Nevadrian has my heart forever.
Also the FOUND FAMILY in this one!!!!! This group of characters, literally fell in love with them all if I hadn’t already 🥹
*Note: I did not read the “open door” scenes in this book, and my rating is not based on the parts I did not read!
Didn't know this was the 5th in a series when i downloaded it until i was on the plane but it was good! A little cliche/cheesy at times but overall cute! Love a man who's obsessed with a curvy queen and this man is down bad. I liked the family dynamics a lot and the main characters anxiety comes from the authors experience with anxiety which was cool to see. Made me want to start watching formula one tbh
Lots of love to Bridget for trusting me again to beta read Reserved, it was a pleasure 🩷
Reserved is the next book in the Pitstop Series and here we follow the story of Adrian being a Formula One driver and Neveah trying to make it as a journalist in the Formula One world. What a story it was!
Bridget absolutely slayed again with this one. Rush and Chase were already 5 star reads for me and if I could I'd give Reserved 10 stars because be prepared to be blown away by Adrian, the way I fell in love with him (and Nevaeh) during this book, his character got me giggling so much I couldn't even read it in public anymore 😂 And don't get me started about the last chapter, omygosh a typical Bridget cliffhanger 😱
It's possible to read the book as a standalone because the author provides bit of extra information about F1 and characters but I'd suggest reading the other books first because it makes the experience of reading this more fun 💕
'I'm afraid I'll start liking him in a way a person doesnt like their friend.'
I'm gonna need some time to recover from this one.
Reserved by Bridget L. Rose is a dual POV Formula One romance, focuisng on Adrian Romana, and Nevaeh Fuchs. Adrian Romana is a Formula One driver at the top of his game, the only thing missing is a World Championship trophy. At least that's what he thinks, until Nevaeh Fuchs enters his life. Nevaeh has landed a job that should have been the job of her dreams, apart from instead of writing about tennis, the sport she loves, shes asked to write about Formula One, the sport she has a complicated history with. Over the course of the season, Nevaeh grows closer to the sport, to the people, and especially to Adrian. Making it as a woman in sports journalism is hard enough, but can she risk everything to follow where her heart is leading her?
When I say I love Adrian and Nevaeh, I mean it in a way that they fully have my heart. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to move on from them if I'm being honest. Everything about them, from their chance meeting to the friendship, to the 'I know I'm in toruble because I can't stop thinking about them', to I'm all in was just perfect. It never felt as though their relationship was rushed, and I really liked how they really got to know each other, and actually became friends in spite of how they felt about each other, before acting on their feelings.
One of my favourite things about them together was when Adrian flirted with Nevaeh, she flirted right back. A lot of the time when the guy flirts with the girl she's very shy about it, which don't get me wrong, I love it, but Nevaeh was so confident in flirting back that it made me love her all the more. They had me giggling, blushing, kicking my feet. There were times when I had to stop reading in public, because basically every interaction they had was so perfect I could have started screeching. (Not a pretty sight, and when I'm at work, less than ideal). The tenderness they had with each other was so heartwarming, and the spice was spicy enough that I'm pretty sure my face started burning.
Nevaehs experience with anxiety really made me feel seen, and I felt like I could relate to it so much, that it's almost like it was taken straight out of my head. (I'm well aware that it's different for everyone). But along with that, Adrian's description of grief had my heart in my throat, and had me ready to cry. As someone who had to learn about grief and how to live with it at a very young age, it felt so validating to have someone else see grief as something you live with, not just something you feel.
As much as I love the side charactres, (I will happily have Val as my best friend any day of the week), it takes so much talent to write a character that makes me want to reach into the pages and punch, (if you know who it is you know), and it was done so well, that as much as the character angered me more than I thought possible, just made me realise how well written he is.
The plot was never rushed, and had me hooked from the first page, to the point I couldnt tell if I wanted to race through it (no pun intended) or savour it. I never wanted to put it down, even if it did mean being late back down to work whilst I was reading on break. And that ending!!! When I turned the page, and found out that it was the end of the book, I let out a very audible NO! I'm actually a bit sad that I've finsihed it.
Such an easy 5 stars for me, and one of favourites that I've read this year.
📖 Synopsis: Nevaeh’s dream of becoming a professional tennis player abruptly comes to an end when she gets into an accident that prohibits her from playing. Undeterred, she takes a daring leap into the writing world of Formula One drivers where she encounters not just fast cars but HOT Formula One drivers. Amidst the glamour and adrenaline, there is only one rule for the writers… NO dating any of the drivers. This shouldn’t be a problem for Nevaeh considering her complicated history with the sport. Being a female writer for a sports journalism page is not an easy feat, given her intricate history with the sport.
Enter Adrian, the attractive Formula One driver relentlessly pursuing the World Championship title. As Nevaeh dives into the world of Formula One, sparks fly between her and the hot F1 driver. Will Nevaeh risk it all to chase after her heart’s desires despite the obstacles ahead?
💭 Thoughts: Before reading this book, I knew absolutely nothing about race car driving or Formula One, but man am I ever glad I decided to apply for this ARC. The chemistry between Adrian and Nevaeh was swoon worthy. They have my heart! I loved how protecting and caring Adrian was towards Nevaeh. He picked up on the subtleties regarding Nevaeh and always had her best interest at heart but Adrian’s mouth… DAMN he knows how to heat things up. The spice in this book was absolutely phenomenal.
The soccer stadium scene… COME ON!! Absolute perfection!
I appreciated the mental health rep in this book as we watched Nevaeh work her way through her anxieties and Adrian battle inner demons regarding his past.
I will be sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the second half of their story! This book is the fifth in the series but could most definitely be read as a standalone. There is enough information in the book that you really get to know and understand who they are. However, I will most definitely be going back to the beginning to read the rest of the series. Who knew race car drivers could be so HOT!!

Will Adrian be able to let go of the grief of his past and open up his heart? Will Nevaeh’s job keep her away from finding love or will the betrayal of her parents take away from her future? Read to find out!
I would like to thank Bridget L. Rose for providing me my third ARC in exchange for my honest review! I found myself having a connection with the female main character, she suffers from anxiety caused by the trauma of her injury. The way her anxiety takes over her mind and how she thinks of herself I can relate in so many ways. It was such a page turner and the love story between Nevaeh and Adrian was heartwarming. I found myself so involved in their story, laughing at the way they teased each other and in awe at the way they supported each other. I can’t wait for Bridget to release another book in the series as this one was left with a cliffhanger that has you gasping and wanting more!!
Nevaeh is such a beautifully relatable character. I’ve dealt with anxiety since I was a teenager, and seeing Nevaeh struggle with it was so validating. What really got me was how she struggled with overthinking. I do this all the time, and I can confirm it’s so easy to get lost in your head and become stuck in that state before you feel confident enough to make a decision. I also loved how she used her photography to escape her life when everything became too much, I could easily relate to needing a creative outlet in the same way. I also connected with her fears of not knowing what she’s doing with her life, and feeling scared that she’ll make the wrong choices, lose her dream, and be left with nothing. I deal with these fears constantly, it’s not something I would wish upon anyone, because it’s so all-consuming that it can become almost impossible to move forward once you’re stuck in this state of fear. Seeing her struggle with all this made seeing her open up to Adrian and let him be there for her when she’s vulnerable that much sweeter. They’re able to ground each other in a way no one else can, and he gives her a safe space that no one else has been able to. She’s so incredibly strong, and everything about her story had me wanting more.
No one should be surprised at this point that I love all of Bridget’s heroes, and of course Adrian joins the list. The pain he’s experienced is something I know all too well, and if I’m being honest, I struggle with not wanting relationships the same way he does because of that pain. But once he decides he wants Nevaeh, he makes it clear that he wants her, but he’s also so respectful of her wishes and boundaries. He becomes so obsessed with her in the best way possible, and the more we see them together, his playboy act gives way to reveal the romantic at heart. He still has issues he has to work through, and I can’t say I wouldn’t struggle with those same issues, but he still makes it clear to Nevaeh that he wants her despite being afraid of opening up and loving someone who could potentially leave him the way he’s been left before. But he risks the pain, spending more time with her, and wanting to be in her life forever.
I really loved this next installment in the Pitstop series, and I’ll be anxiously waiting for part 2!

In "Reserved," adrenaline pulses through every page, not just from the high-stakes world of Formula One but from the unexpected collision of hearts. As a contender vying for the championship, the protagonist's focus is singular, his drive unyielding, until the magnetic force of Nevaeh Fuchs disrupts his carefully constructed plans. Their love story defies the fast-paced rhythm of the racetrack, defies his reputation as a heartbreaker. With each chapter, their connection deepens, defying his belief in love's inevitable wreckage. Against the backdrop of roaring engines and flashing lights, their romance unfolds with a gripping intensity, proving that sometimes the greatest victory lies not in crossing the finish line first, but in surrendering to the power of love. She signed a contract that says she wouldn't fraternise with players. The tension is too strong and they just have to go further. They fall in love but there is that underlying issue still lying there. Will they break up or will they risk everything for love?
Okay, let's begin with Adrian Romana is my husband, he's is mine alone, and I will not share got it?
Ever since I first read Rush by Bridget, I have been in her DM's begging for Adrian's book. Our favourite playboy of F1, and this honestly exceeded my expectations.
Adrian and Neveah have the most tantalising chemistry, and it literally sizzled off the pages. What I love so much about them, is how they grew their relationship, from one of the sweetest friendships. Neveah, is MY GIRL. I loved how brutally honest she is, she doesn't really have a filter and says things exactly how they are. And she's hilarious. But underneath all that, her anxiety is her demon, and much like a lot of us, it's something that is a struggle on a daily basis. When I tell you I was in Bridgets dm's telling her how much I felt seen and heard, because a lot of my struggles really resonate with Neveahs, it just made me, as a reader feel so special.
And then we have MY husband, this man is chefs kiss. He's so caring and protective of the people in his lives, especially his girl. The mouth on him had me🥵🥵
I loved how organic this whole book felt, from the friendship to the relationship, it just happened all so naturally. My favourite thing about Bridgets books is the found family dynamic, and when I tell you this is found family at it's best, I'm not lying. I love how within each series, the group are so open and welcoming to new people it warms my cold little dead heart.
ɪ ʜᴀᴛᴇ ʟɪɴᴄᴏʟɴ ɴᴀsʜ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴀ ᴘᴀssɪᴏɴ I've never hated any of Bridget's character, until Lincoln, and I swear to god Bridget, if you ever decide he needs a redemption story, I'll throw a three year old toddler tantrum until you decide not to😇
Lastly, my girl besties, Valentina and Neveah moments are some of my faves in this book🥹🥹
Buckle up, folks, because "Reserved" by Bridget L. Rose is about to take you on a wild ride through the high-speed world of Formula One, complete with heart-pounding races and unexpected romance!
Alright, let's cut to the chase – Adrian Romana, our resident F1 hotshot, is on a mission to snag that coveted Drivers' Championship title. He's all business, no distractions allowed. But then enters Nevaeh Fuchs, a journalist with sass and spunk, who throws Adrian's game plan right out the window.
First off, major props to Bridget for inviting me to join the ARC team – you're the real MVP! Now, let's talk about Adrian and Nevaeh. These two? They've got chemistry that's hotter than the asphalt on race day. Adrian's your typical F1 playboy, but Nevaeh's not about to fall for his charm... or is she? Their banter had me grinning like a maniac, and don't even get me started on their slow-burn romance – it's the stuff of legends.
But it's not all champagne and victory laps. Bridget dives deep into some heavy topics, like anxiety and grief, and she does it with grace and authenticity. Nevaeh's battle with anxiety hit me right in the feels, and Adrian's journey through grief had me reaching for the tissues. These characters felt real, flaws and all, and that's what made their story so damn compelling.
And let's talk about that found family vibe – it's like being welcomed into the coolest squad ever. Valentina and Nevaeh? Total girl power goals. But then there's Lincoln Nash... Let's just say, I've never wanted to punch a fictional character so badly. Bridget, if you're reading this, please don't give him a redemption arc – I'm begging you!
Overall, "Reserved" is a high-octane romance that'll leave you breathless and begging for more. Whether you're a die-hard F1 fan or just love a good love story, this book has something for everyone. So grab your helmet and buckle up – you're in for one hell of a ride! 🏁🔥
