I honestly think I liked this one better than the first. The stereotypes of the families were less emphasized and allowed to kind of just...exist without being in your face about their beliefs and mannerisms. You got to know the actual characters rather than to just keep reading about how they perceive themselves. I felt like they were allowed to be themselves more in this story.

I think that Charlotte's character added a depth to the story we just didn't have with the first book. It was still cheesy and predictable, but showed growth in Charlotte's acceptance of the supernatural world and Ares' protectiveness. And Greta's quirky little personality added some fun to the story as well.

This was a fun read and I like it that Ares and Charlotte met right at the beginning of the book. She’s a single mom trying to escape her daughter’s father. Ares took to her and her daughter right from the start. Her daughter is super cute and adorable. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow. The action picks up as trouble comes knocking.
This series is fun and easy to listen to. I can’t wait for book 3.

When the wolf knows, the wolf knows! Ares, the man, thinks he is in control and knows what is happening, but he really needs to let his wolf take the lead. A worried single mum, who is coming off a bad experience, cannot resist, especially when her little girl isn’t backing down. It isn’t all heartwarming Christmas fun, there is some true LOL moments, and some action to keep things interesting 😊

Another Wonderful Story. I thoroughly loved it. Loved the characters and storyline so much. Charly and Greta got very lucky with Ares in their life. It was a loving, funny and eventful story. On to Selene’s story. 🥳🥳. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊
