Hunted by a stalker, I agree to place myself in the hands of my four protective, demanding bosses.
As danger lurks, their possessiveness grows. Every sensual encounter is more intense and explosive than the last.
I can’t stop my heart from wanting things I cannot have, like a future with all of them.
The man hunting me draws close, but Blake, Seth, Noah and Cooper keep me closer.
Bind Me is a Why Choose billionaire romance with heroes who will do anything to protect and pleasure their heroine, originally published as part of the #1 Private Listing series on Kindle Vella. Bind Me is the second book in the Private Listing series, an expanded edition.
So here's the thing... I love spice and this book has an obscene amount of it. Like OBSCENE! And it's unrealistic. There's no way she's not sore or needing a single night or day break from being railed. And there's no way that any of these men have the recovery time that Berry writes out. Also our heroine doesn't do any butt stuff prep or talk about the absolute mess that comes with constantly being FILLED repeatedly. It's hot but honestly unrealistic for a real-life-ish book. If you're like me and need more than just written p0rn then you might be disappointed here. There isn't much substance other than the s€x. And it gets a little annoying when she's bouncing between the apartment being upstairs from the office or downstairs. (I know I'm petty about that little detail but it's the little details of the story you cling to when they're few and far between the insane amount of spice.) I'm hoping the next book has more substance. I mean I think it's hot. Don't get me wrong. But there is only so much a human body can take and they're only on week 4 of even knowing each other. Hinting about "love" when it's just lust. 🙄 K I'm done.
Dull and unengaging from beginning to end. The story only becomes interesting at the 99% mark, just before pushing you to read the next book. The characters lack any meaningful development throughout.
I discovered CS Berry reading her novella "Untouched" - which I CAN NOT WAIT to be turned into books, btw - I joined her FB group and was excited to see that one of her other novella's, "Private Listing" was being published as books. I was very lucky to be part of the ARC readers and got my hands on the first and second books to review and I keep re-reading them. Not only do I enjoy the plot but, Oh, my! the spice level is off the charts! If you like strong male characters, a young, but learning to become a strong female character and watching the relationship grow, this is an awesome second book of a four book series. To say I am waiting impatiently for book three and four would be a gross understatement.
A continuation of book one and nothing for me has changed. The drama got amped up in this and having Madison have a stalker was interesting. Me trying to guess who it was and being ultimately wrong was also fun. I love when its not as easy as it could be. Learning more and more about the guys in between the spicy scenes and seeing what their old lives were like helped me to see them differently. I will say, I wasn't mixing up the guys or wondering who it was if their name wasn't said multiple times. I felt like each person was/is distinct and depending on either the spicy session or what was going on I knew who was talking or who the chapter was about without having to go back and see who it was. Again the spice was out of this world. Sometimes I unlost (?) reality for a bit and was like "this is unrealistic. Is she not in pain? Dehydrated? lord" but then i remembered this is a book and happily kept on reading.
NOT A STANDALONE. THIS IS BOOK TWO AND BOOK ONE SHOULD BE READ IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THE EVENTS IN THE STORY.
HOLY HOTNESS! I know I may have used this saying before but this book is too hot to handle! Seriously, it’s about 90% smut and 10% plot but the plot points to help move the story forward keep you engaged and wondering what’s going to happen next, besides more sex, ya know? 😆 is this story going to be winning any literary awards, definitely not but I rated it high because I adored every component of this book.
There are group scenes, two on one scenes, and one on one in Bind Me’s book. After the double dicking Madison gets with Coop and Noah, like what left is there to do that needs to occur in the next two books?? lol 😝 C.S. Berry deserves all the kudos for knowing how to write very tasteful smut. 🫠
We’re ramping up for more drama with the introduction of Courtney, the female employee who would give Madison dirty looks with the lobby receptionist; Hunter, at Taylor’s where Madison did her internship and who has a history of sexually harassing women. Along with Madison’s roommate and boyfriend, Madison’s stalker (who could be one and the same of the aforementioned characters) and now a mole within Morrigan Technology Group who is sabotaging potential clients by spreading misinformation.
Not to mention the bit of tension between the men, when they needed to pro-active about a situation that has the potential to ruin all of their reputations, Madison included.
This book DOES end on a cliffhanger. As always, check the content and trigger warnings before engaging with this series. Only you know what you can handle.
I applied to receive an advanced reader’s copy from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
*Bind Me is book 2 in the Private Listing series and is not a standalone. It picks up where Watch Me (book 1) left off in a cliffhanger and will also end in a cliffhanger to lead to the next 2 books in the series*
While Madison is navigating the terms of her new position, she's also dealing with a stalker. The guys protectiveness of her on top of their contract has her feeling things she's trying to ignore because it's too good to be true.
While Watch Me (book 1) ends with the guys just starting their sex contract because they're also taking care of Madison after her attack and finding out she has a stalker, Bind Me (book 2) starts with a bang and doesn't stop. This book is definitely more spice than plot ratio. The guys really start taking care of Madison in more way than 1, mostly in a group and multiple times a day. They do make some headway eliminating 1 suspect but of course the book ends in another cliffhanger that I can't wait to find out happened! Madison and the guys are really falling which isn't apart of their agreement so I'm also anxious to see what drama awaits in the next book when the guys all have to take a date to a charity event.
Tropes: ✔️ Billionaire Romance ✔️ BDSM/Erotic Romance ✔️ Boss/Employee w/ Sex Contract ✔️ MFMMM ✔️ Found Family ✔️ Submissive Awakening ✔️ Down On Her Luck Heroine ✔️ Sexually Confident Heroine
The next book in the Private Listing series, "Bind Me," is just as amazing as the first. Even though Seth, Blake, Cooper, Noah and Madisons relationship was based in the beginning as a contractual relationship feelings was happening. With the situation with the stalker Madison realized when Blake was taking care of her, giving her better memories then the bad from the stalker, she realized she loves Blake. Then with how the others acted around her and wanting to be with her, you can tell feelings are involved. With each scene can you say HOT. Between all there kinks HOT HOT HOT. With each kink brought to life I couldn't wait for more, along with the fantasys. Yummy. But it's the aftercare these men do that is the best part with how they care for her is romantic sweet. Feelings where caught by Madison but she knew the men where not interested in a romantic relationship. She was there as a assistant and for sexual release, even though they where sweet to her. So she told them what they want to hear not her feelings. But the men are questioning if she's the one, if she can want all four. To find out what happens next I believe as a reader you should find out yourself. I enjoyed reading this book. I cannot wait for more. I highly recommend this book and series.
I was given an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest review.
Bind Me is the second book in the Private Listing series by C.S. Berry. When I tell you this one is spicier, it’s spicier then the first. I think it’s actually going to get even hotter, as the series continues. Book 2 picks up right where we left off in book 1 with Madison receiving text messages and images from an unknown person. I love how the guys all rally around in protecting her. It’s like they’ve already claimed what’s theirs and I’m here for it. I love how C.S. works to build out relationships between Madison and each of the guys. I sometimes find with Why Choose that someone always gets left out but felt like each had equal page time and can see the relationship building between Madison and each of the guys. Forewarning this has little bit of OW drama, which I usually hate, but feel like the men navigate thru it well. You can however see Madison’s insecurities flare to life (which makes your heart break a little for her).
If you’re a huge fan of office romance, I plead that you give this one a try. While there may be more spice than plot at times C.S. does a really good job at weaving everything together. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I cannot wait for book 3!
This book picks up EXACTLY where book 1 leaves off, and I was NOT disappointed with what happened throughout this book. Coop in Chapter 11 is just...🤌🤌🤌 sooooo good. Also, if you thought the level of spice from book 1 couldn't be topped, you would be sadly mistaken. The spice is spicing, and it goes beyond five peppers!
In book 2, we learn more about Madison and her guys, but in the midst of the chaos that is happening in their lives, they are still finding time to...um...connect with each other. Every day. Multiple times per day (I don't know how that girl isn't SORE!). We get a bit of movement with the plot of the story, and we find out that Madison's stalker is still very much around and aware of what exactly is happening with Madison.
I cannot wait for books 3 and 4 to be released because I need to know how this is going to end (and what will be added from the Kindle Vella version -- for context, there were additional chapters that were added to book 2 that were not originally included in Vella, and they were PERFECTION). This book was an immediate "Buy Now" on Amazon, and I cannot wait to have it on my shelf!
Book 1 started out good, and I drank it all in. Book 2??? Hmmmmm it was bit of an effort to finish it through. From my understanding this series started out as a Kindle Vella. So that means it was a serialized story before being published to a complete 4 book series. I understand that serialization aims to keep readers engaged so maybe that is the reason why book felt lacking in the plot department.
I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M SAYING THIS…. but there was an obscene amount of smut. Chapter (episode) after chapter. All smut. Back to back. No character building, no growth, no plot, it was just smut paragraph after paragraph. One chapter would end and the next chapter, three words in… the FMC is itching for more.
I know it’s fiction but… no. It was just a no for me.
Cliff hanger in book 2 was better than book 1. It was more intriguing and had me questioning what happen!!!? Which means I will be reading book 3… even though… Bind Me had me questioning should o continue with this series?
Book 2 picks up where book 1 leaves off, so you must read these books in order!
We are right back into the thick of the steam that is Madison, Seth, Blake, Coop and Noah. Not only did each guy vow to keep her safe, but they are each in their own way realizing how much she means to them. Madison, in turn, is growing more attached than she anticipated.
When it comes to the intimate scenes, there are two that are burn-the-pages-hot (you'll know when you get there) and of course the others are also scorching, but wow. CS knows how to write steam!
I would love to see a little more plot play out in between all of the sex, but when it does roll around to the heart of the story, it does make it move forward. There is still someone out there intent on hurting Madison, and the guys are still intent on finding out who it is.
Im excited to see how this plays out in the upcoming books of the series, and I can't wait to see how CS tops the scenes in this book!
This book, unfortunately, continued along the same way the first one did. I was hoping for more, to try and redeem things a bit, but it just wasn't to be.
I did like this book more than the first one. It felt like more actually happened in this one. That being said, most of this book was still them having sex all day every day. Honestly, there is no way one woman is having this much sex and NOT getting sore.
I am liking the story, but there needs to be so much less sex going on. Very little of the actual plot is happening. I definitely am liking that we are seeing more emotional connection between them. Still not as much as I would like, but it is building up.
I am going to continue to the next book, simply because I already have it from the library, so that review will be incoming soon, too.
This series is hands down the most smut-heavy series I’ve ve ever read.
The cum, orgasms, and erections are never ending. The refractory periods are naught. The stamina ever lasting.
And all of this is good, because the sex scenes are never boring, never repeated, and always very well written.
The secondary plot carried over from book one is still very much in the background, hoping for a resolution in book 3. Going into the next one, there’s also the added tension of the guys dating other women for a gala, so everything seems to be lining up great for a climactic HEA.
Honestly, it’s hard to be emotionally invested in the characters since the sex is so over the top, but I really didn’t feel any need to. This book is self aware in what it is (sex firmly front and centre), and that’s kinda refreshing.
Private Listing: Bind Me is the second book in the Private Listing series and can’t be read as a standalone but…it ends on a small cliffhanger. I really enjoyed the storyline and where the plot is taking us. I’m also loving how the guys are starting to show more emotion and affection for Madison. There is a bit too much spice for me though and I found myself skimming several of the scenes. They are pretty unrealistic but I guess it is called fiction for a reason. I love Madison and how strong she is but that she isn’t afraid to show some vulnerability to the guys. I’m anxious for the rest of the series and to find out who has been stalking Madison. Thankfully there isn’t a long wait between books!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Madison has a stalker, and no one seems to know who it is. However, she is well protected by Seth, Blake, Coop and Noah. In this book we see her getting more and more involved in the world that she has been introduced to. I love that this is turn caused a serious uptick in her confidence too. All her bosses are smoking hot and super protective and more than determined to figure out who this stalker is and put a stop to it all. This book has a lot of twists and turns and moments that will have you fanning yourself. I loved every second of this book. I wish I could tell you more, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone.
This series has potential, but unfortunately, there is very little plot and not much character development, which is too bad since I like the characters and would like to see more of their personalities and them having more conversations that aren't related to sex. It is more like reading straight porn, I am usually not one to complain about too many sex scenes but around 85% (or more) of this is just them having sex. Also, the amount of sex she is having is unrealistic; there is no way she wouldn't be sore almost constantly. I will say their guys' dirty talk is on point, and there is a lot of it.
Even though there isn't a lot of story here will I be reading the rest of the series? Yes!
I went into Bind Me hoping for some follow on from the first book, but what I got was four men, one woman, and enough bodily fluids to fill a paddling pool. This is book two in the Private Listing series, and while it clearly leans into the spicy side of romance, it completely forgets to bring along a story.
If you’re here for character development, emotional depth this isn’t it. What you will get is a rotation of positions, a marathon of “yes, Daddy” moments, and the word “cum” used with the artistic finesse of a teenager’s fanfiction. If that’s your jam, no judgment, it definitely knows its niche.
But for me? I needed something to bind the scenes together. Otherwise, it just reads like a group chat fantasy that got out of hand.
This is the second book in the Private Listing series. It continues from where things ended in Watch Me and we are not closer to solving the mystery that started in Book One.
I enjoyed it. The suspense made the plot easier to follow and sustained interest as I was eager to read how things unfold.
Just like its predecessor, this was so steamy and very unrealistic but as the author had warned us to suspend belief I wasn’t too bothered.
I love the unfolding relationship between the main characters and I am eager to find out where all these lead.
If you love why choose, work place romance then you will enjoy this. I received an advanced copy and the review is mine and voluntary.
This story was very enjoyable. I enjoyed reading about the characters, watching their bonds grow, and the overall journey. I think I've figured out who the stalker is. There were a few possible suspects and several moments of doubt in my theroy, but I believe I've figured it out, but I'll have to wait for the rest of the series to discover if I'm right. I really love the characters of this series, and the mystery of her stalker really adds a level of intrigue to it, but some of the sex scenes could have been shortened and the story still would have been a smash hit. Either way, I look forward to reading the rest of this series and more from this author!
*ARC review* This 2nd installment picked up right where the last book left off, and immediately I was right back in this world and wanting to know more. The relationships getting deeper while the mystery surrounding the danger around Maddison kept me so enthralled I didn't want to stop! The closer she got to each guy, the more I wanted them all together. Some minor things were resolved, but unresolved items were made that much more intriguing, especially with the cliffhanger!! C.S. Berry, you've trapped me in this world and I'm dying to see what happens next!
This book is part of a series that you must read in order.
Berry does a fabulous job of balancing the scorching sex with great relationship development between Madison and her 4 men. You really get to know their personalies and it totally perfects their love story ❤️. Noah, Blake, Cooper, and Seth all bring something different to their relationship with Madison and love shines throughout the book. I’m on the edge of every page trying to figure out who is behind stalking Madison and how it will resolve itself. This book series is on my must read again list
No spoilers - again we end on the same cliffhanger! If you want to read this book, you have to read them in order and I'm assuming they will continue to be cliffhangers until the last book. The 🌶️ was pretty good, some new things in this book that didn't happen in the 1st book. Like I said for book 1, this is a spicy scene heavy book and not a lot of plot. Not a lot of progress on the plot since book 1. I will keep reading the series because the spice is keeping me in it 😜 and I do wanna know what happens.
(Minimal spoilers, no major details) Absolutely Loved this book!! I read it as a serial and now got to read an arc copy! The add-on in the beginning was a definite need and explained how the guys made their decision to share. The steamy scenes were hot, hot, hot especially when in the boardroom and play room. And that cliffhanger aww man best spot to put it. Leaves you wanting so much more!!! I'll be dying while waiting for the next book!!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This series has me wanting more. I just need the next book- and the one after that too!! The tension has me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what’s happening! Is her roommate hiding in plain sight?? Who is her stalker?? Who planted the camera, and most importantly- WHAT WAS IN THE BOX. Somehow- I also think this book was spicier than the first book. The cliffhangers are ending me. I can’t wait for book three.
Book two in this series did not skimp on the spicy! This book honestly just spice lol. There's not much plot/story progression. You get a short glimpse that the stalker is still at large followed by a cliffy we knew was coming ans a whole of holes being filled...Madisons holes to be exact! I'm still enjoying the series but please don't expect more that spice on every page. I'd still recommend.
Bind Me is the 2nd book in the Private Listing Series by C.S. Berry. It follows immediately on from book 1 maintaining the level of spice. I loved book one and book 2 did not disappoint.
Madison and her hot bosses are getting closer, learn more about each other and their individual likes. Things are getting hotter. The stalker contacting Madison’s old phone is heating up, leaving her men more protective.
Bind Me is the 2nd book in the 4 part Private Listing story. There are so many twists and turns in this story. You find yourself trying to solve the mystery along with the characters. I love that the connection between Madison and her guys continues to grow stronger.
This story is on Kindle Vella, but CS Berry is editing and adding new content in each of the 4 books.
**I received an ARC of Bind Me in exchange for an honest review**
