Frozen festive chaos! Christmas is supposed to be all about feasting, napping, and cozy fires, right? Not this year. Instead of peace and quiet, I’m facing a frozen angel, missing books, and Zandra’s chaotic half-sister crashing into Crimson Cove like a holiday storm. When an angel turns up frozen to death after an alumni party, Angel Force is too close to the murder to solve the mystery. So, with my wonderful witch Zandra Crypt by my side, I step in to figure out who’s behind this frosty murder. The problem? Every angel suspect has an alibi, and this case is slipperier than ice on a wintry night.
As if that’s not enough, Tempest Crypt and her mischievous mini hellhound, Wiggles, disrupt our comfort and joy. Now it’s up to me to keep the festive season from turning into a holiday horror show. If I don't crack this case, someone else might end up a frozen victim—and I don't plan on that being me or my witch!

K.E. O’Connor is the author of the Witch Haven mystery series, the Crypt Witch cozy mysteries, the Lorna Shadow ghost mysteries, the Holly Holmes baking mysteries, the Zee Town paranormal cozy series, and the Old Sarum mystery series, along with other titles available if you cast the right spell. She can imagine dragons, taste cookies when they aren’t even there, and hear the crack of a witch’s broom at a hundred paces.
K.E. (the K stands for Karen) lives in the United Kingdom (it isn’t very united, but that’s a mystery for another time) among the mystical stones and fairy creatures of Somerset. She graduated from the Universities of Southampton and Reading, where she received degrees in Archaeology and Cognitive Evolution (both highly entertaining to take part in, but with the career options of a ground witch’s toe bone.)

EVERY WITCH WAY BUT FROSTY is the sixteenth installment in the Magical Misfits Mysteries series by K.E. O'Connor. As always, the plot is excellent with interesting characters, humor, and some unexpected twists and turns. This is a fun series to read with magical mysteries, murders and strange happenings.
Bertoli is hosting his alumni annual get together this year. It should be a big success with the Crimson Cove Winter and Christmas festivities happening at the same time.
When an angel is found dead as an ice statue the higher angels assign Juno and Zandra to solve the murder. Can they solve this case in time to enjoy the holiday festivities? Unfortunately, there are no clues: no one saw anything, everyone's alibi is the same, they were all together. And, just keep things interesting, Zandra's feisty half-sister, Tempest and her chunky mini hellhound, Wiggles, decide to visit.
Get ready to find out if Juno and Zandra can solve this murder? What mischief will Tempest and Wiggles cause? Will Crystal Cove ever go back to normal?
I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this fun cozy mystery and I recommend it book to anyone who loves entertaining mysteries and wise talking cats.
Every Witch Way But Frosty - a review by Rosemary Kenny.
Welcome to Book 16 of K.E O'Connor's excellent Magical Mystery Series, Every Witch Way But Frosty. Narrated by feline familiar Juno, witch Zandra Crypt has more than the usual Seasonal stresses when her half-sister, (the aptly-named) Tempest Crypt and mini-hellhound, Wiggles, arrive to spend Yuletide in Crimson Cove...prior to chaos and murder ensuing in a most unexpected way.
A lively look into the off-duty behaviour of members of the Angel Force, (where links to the their school days are key to uncovering the truth) means you'll never see angels in quite the same way in future.

Let me just say that this was such a hard mystery/murder to figure out. So much blaming and finger pointing. How can these angels call each other a friend?
I was so off on who froze this angel! I know that most people will be too, so I’m in good company. 😊 Juno and Zandra did an amazing job when it came to figuring this out. The way the clues were found was very clever.
As with all of O’Conners books this one is excellent. I’m getting concerned that I’ll run out of books to read. I know that’s not possible but I will only read certain kinds of books. Picky.
