I'm often stoically silent or, if the topic interests me, a chronic rambler. In other words, I can discuss writing forever and ever. Fiction, in particular. The love story—while a huge draw and constantly present—is secondary for me, because there's so much more to writing romance fiction than just making two (or more) people fall in love and have hot sex. There's a world to build, characters to develop, interests to create, and a topic or two to research thoroughly. Every book is a challenge for me, an opportunity to learn something new, and a puzzle to piece together. I want my characters to come to life, and the only way I know to do that is to give them substance—passions, history, goals, quirks, and strong opinions—and to let them evolve. Additionally, I want my men and women to be relatable. That means allowing room for everyday problems and, for lack of a better word, flaws. My characters will never be perfect.

Wait…this was supposed to be about me, not my writing.

I'm a writey person who loves to write. Always wanderlusting, twitterpating, kinking, and geeking. There's time for hockey and cupcakes, too. But mostly, I just love to write.

re-read August, 2015: Loved this all over again! It's time for me to dive in Cara Lee's other M/M romances.

I have been reading M/M romance books, at the exclusion of all other types of reading material, since about August 2011. Before that I normally read your typical M/F bodice rippers along with popular fiction and auto/biographies. When I discovered GoodReads in 2012 it was like opening up an untapped gold mine of fantastic M/M romance books to read, because there were so many other like-minded people here to help guide me to what was worth my time and money and what was worthless junk. Being able to read a steady supply of quality material in the M/M specific genres I prefer has keep my interest in M/M romance fiction at the forefront of my hobbies where normally it would have probably died off as a fad a long time ago. But I don't have to tell you that! You are here at GoodReads, reading this review! You know how wonderful it is here already!

Now, how does this relate specifically to Public Display of Everything? When I come to GoodReads every day, I look for specific things in a book before I decide to read it. Who wrote it, how long it is, what genre category it is in, which of my friends liked it and, sometimes more importantly, which didn't like it. And before I read a M/M romance book it always, always has to have one thing, no matter what. A HEA. My real life is too filled with everyday angst and misery for anything less than a nice, happy resolution and the MC heroes walking off into the sunset. Now, putting everything I love about a M/M romance book into my checklist, I am super happy when I get some good check marks. I'm excited to read a close match. But with Public Display of Everything? It wasn't a close match. It was an EXACT match. As in, a PERFECT match. I kept thinking, "Are you fucking kidding me?" as I was reading. I. Loved. Every. Damn. Thing. About. This. Book. This book *points to book* is the reason I come to GoodReads everyday! The search for that all elusive perfect book! Everyone's is different, I'm sure, but this one is mine.

Public Display of Everything has two intelligent, mature, worldly young men looking for that missing element in their lives. They are both a little sad and they seem stuck in their mutual ruts. The passion that is released when these two come together was so fucking outstanding that I re-read the damn thing last night right after I logged on here and fan-girled all other the place to let my GR friends know how much I loved this. It was smutty and kinky and the dirty talk was abso-fucking-lutely delicious. Just off-the-charts, OK? It was never cheap or nasty or creepy, and if you've read the blurb, this book is partially about voyeurism, so just imagine how Cara Dee pulled that off! *lighting a candle for Cara Dee, a new favorite M/M author* The book is about these two men falling in love and coming to terms with their pasts and facing their futures, together. The love and emotion made me cry the happiest tears, and the perfect combination of the smut and love is why I am giving this book my personal highest honor, the fuck yeah, 5+ stars shelf where it will sit along side books like The Final Line, Point of No Return, Strength of the Pack and Hot Head. *shelf pride*

I CAN'T RECOMMENDED THIS BOOK HIGHLY ENOUGH!!!!! JUST READ IT! I can't spell it out any clearer than that.

The hell, you guys? I didn't realize until after I read this book that it was written by the same author who wrote:

Aftermath (Aftermath, #1) by Cara Dee

which is fucking brilliant, and kind of a hard act to follow.

But, ohmygod, Public Display of Everything is equally brilliant.

(And not nearly as angsty.)

Fabulously quirky and overflowing with realistic, funny dialogue, this book is a warm, kinky hug. The MCs, Flynn and Cory, are perfectly imperfect and so damn hot together.

FLYNN, 22, is a lonely, slightly neurotic tech geek with the biggest heart and the filthiest mouth (his chants of more more more shortcircuited my brain).

CORY, 30, is a gorgeous, outgoing history buff and a big klutz who can't keep a job to save his life.

Flynn watches Cory at the same American pub in London for months until he finally screws his courage to the sticking place and approaches Cory to

say hello ask him to jack off while others watch.

Get your kink on and cameras ready, because exhibitionists (and peepin' toms!) are in the house, baby!

I love that these boys could be so down and dirty yet so tender and romantic. The lovin' here is extremely passionate and steamy. The sex and love bleed together and make for a very intense, very real relationship.

Both MCs have issues to overcome. Flynn is used to hiding his sexuality, and Cory has to forgive someone once close to him who hurt him tremendously. We receive snippets of information about Cory's past involving a man named Luke at the beginning of each chapter, but we don't get the full story until Cory talks to Flynn about it.

I thought the book was heading one way, but it actually veered in another direction, and I am beyond glad that Dee didn't feel the need to throw in a lot of unnecessary drama but kept the focus firmly on Flynn and Cory breaking down their walls, loving each other, and creating a strong relationship.

They knew what they wanted, and they went for it, hook, line, and sinker.

The blurb does not do this book justice. It is about so much more than just voyeurism (although that makes for a delectable side dish). This is going on my Unforgettable shelf; definitely recommended!

Public Display of Everything is such a perfect, spectacular, heartwarming story!

The voyeurism-exhibitionism aspect creates a nice frame, but it is not just a kinky story. It is so much more than what the blurb indicates.

Nicely flowing plot, not too heavy background story, catchy writing style.

The characters are unique but not overdone; complex but not inconsistent.

The romance develops quickly but not unforgivably so; it’s sweet but not sappy. No games, only direct and open communication – I loved that!
Flynn looks proud and triumphant. “Acting like I don’t care.” He nods. “That’ll do the trick. Soon enough, you’ll feel wounded and annoyed because I’ve stopped asking.”
What the fuck. I can’t help but laugh. “You’re not supposed to explain your schemes.”
“Well…” His eyes flicker to the tablet. “I don’t want you to actually believe I don’t care.”

And so much delicate humor and cuteness! I just couldn’t stop smiling.

And the sex…! Oh, my…!

Wholeheartedly recommended!

My favorite quotes.

Whoop, there it is!!!

I cannot believe I had this hot little gem on my TBR shelf sitting neglected and overlooked for almost 5 years. Shame on me, right!? But the lesson has been learned and I will do better in the future… maybe…I hope.

What we have here are two American expats living and eventually loving in the UK. Cory is a 30 year old gay man fighting the good fight to hold down a job, but no matter how hard he tries Cory keeps losing them, one right after the other, to which he mostly blames his natural and unfortunate penchant to klutz it up at every given opportunity. When he’s overheard at a bar sharing his employment woes Cory is approached by the shy and beautiful, and presumably straight, Flynn, who offers Cory one hell of an unconventional job opportunity.

Flynn is a bit of a tech wizard and has made his fortune at the ripe old age of 22 by creating and running a website for those who are sexually inclined to enjoy voyeurism and exhibitionism, both online and in real life. Flynn proposes a money making deal wherein Cory has to jerk off in public view of viewers who can covertly watch from the shadows, at a distance. It all sounds a bit seedy at first, but Cory is desperate for the money and Flynn seems completely above board with his sweet and shy nature.

As it turns out, Cory finds himself getting off (literally) to the whole exhibitionist thing, much to his surprise and kinky delight. His enjoyment is spurred on by his deepening romantic attraction towards Flynn, who Cory finds himself falling hard and fast for as they begin to transition smoothly from a working relationship, to a tentative friendship and more.

I absolutely adored both Cory and Flynn. They were both such kind, genuine souls, and it was such a lovely experience to watch them fall effortlessly for one another over the course of the story. It certainly didn't hurt that their chemistry was positively palpable, in and out of the bedroom. Their energy just buzzed right off the page making their story charismatic and addictive.

The kink factor was a surprise for me, as I’ve never really enjoyed books with these themes. Yet somehow, maybe through Dee’s great writing, and certainly guided by my adoration of these two wonderful characters, I found myself totally enthralled by the kinkier scenes they shared in the book. It definitely helped that the sexual moments shared by Cory and Flynn never personally involved other people – it was an external thing, with the knowledge that when they were actually doing something for public consumption (which only happened once as a couple), those watching were completely unseen, uninvolved, and at a safe distance, while Cory and Flynn were largely unrecognisable, which provided a heavy level of anonymity that I appreciated.

This really was a hot little number, but at the forefront it remains a heart-warming and simple love story. I enjoyed everything about this one and I can’t wait to revisit Cory and Flynn in my re-reading future.

Cory (30) can’t keep a job and get fired repeatedly, and this time he got kicked out of the room he was renting too. He met Flynn (22) in a bar. Flynn knew Cory’s situation and offered him a job (albeit not a real job and it’s a bit an awkward offer)! and that’s the beginning of their friendship/relationship.

A sweet, almost angst-free and quick read. Well-written with likable/cute characters. They were perfectly in sync with each other. Told in single POV (Cory), 1st person. It’s a standalone novella. Overall, it too sweet for my taste but still an enjoyable one and I hope you like it as well!

How cute were Flynn and Cory!?!?

Who thinks voyeurism is HOT?

So Cory can't seem to keep a job. He's been in England the last seven years and has had countless jobs.

His latest job loss has left him broke and essentially homeless. He's visiting his friend Tammy when he's approached by Flynn. Flynn overheard that Cory was out of work and has a job offer for him.

Flynn runs his own website centered around vuyeurism, Public Display of More. Flynn wants Cory to pose as him in order to give the fans a glimpse at the man behind the website. This means Cory performing a sexual act in a way that fans can watch.

Poor Flynn he was so awkward. While he isn't as in to performing the acts in public he likes to watch and he's turned on by Cory.

Both Flynn and Cory have kind of struggled in the past with their sexual prefences, whether it was with their families or friends. I loved how honest they both were with each other. There was no big miscommunication, there was no drama created to cause conflict.

It was definitely insta-love but for whatever reason it didn't feel like it....but it was. This was a super short read....but it was sexy and steamy and sweet. Really enjoyed it. And super excited to see that Luke is getting a book!

I loved this book so hard!! Wow! So much fun in these pages.

This is first and foremost a romance. It is sweet, but not the cavity inducing kind. There is sex in this book! The sex is on the page. The sex is smokin hot!

The title.....it almost made me pass on this one. It sounded cheezy. Here's the deal, the PDA or PDE in this case is NOT cheezy and over-the-top. It's a part of the story but not THE story. This is a romance with a little perviness on the side.

This book was way more than I expected in every way. It's funny, it's sweet and it's got great sexy times in it.

Do yourself a favor, read this book!

First off...that blurb?

That blurb doesn't do this book an ounce of justice.

Here's what you need to know:

#1 - While reading, you're going to have a smile on your face. A lot.

#2 - If you're not smiling, it's probably because you're too busy fanning yourself, because this book is also pretty hot.

Not overly so, but just the perfect amount. A little bit sweet, a little bit kinky (a touch of voyeurism to spice things up) and a whole lot satisfying.

#3 - You're going to fall in love with Flynn. Seriously. Just go in knowing that with 100% certainty. He's quirky and charming and endearing and a little innocent and a little shy and a whole lot sweet. He speaks formally and uses a lot of multi-syllable words, but he stammers when he's nervous. He doesn't swear unless he's having sex and when he's having sex, he likes it hard and deep and dirty. Yeah...Flynn made this book for me.

#4 - You'll be touched by both men's vulnerability....and how genuinely happy they are to be in an out in the open relationship. Both Cory and Flynn have had issues in their past with closeted people, so they marvel at the happiness and peace they feel of being with someone in the open....and they grab on to that feeling with both hands.

#5 - You'll find the honesty refreshing. No unnecessary drama. No miscommunication. No tiptoeing around secrets and uncomfortable feelings. Take a deep breath....it's bullshit free.

This is a simple and honest book about two men learning to let go of their past and finding the right person to embrace their future with. It's about two men who find themselves in a judgment free relationship...the kind of relationship where you're free to be who you are....and you're comfortable enough to be just that. You can spill wine down your shirt, burn eggs, be shy, say the wrong things, say cheesy things, be neurotic (in the cutest way possible)...basically...you can be you. And all of you will be accepted, treasured and adored.

The blurb may focus on the voyeurism, but this book maybe has about 25% to do with that, so like I said earlier....DISREGARD.

If you want a charming story with endearing characters and no unnecessary bullshit...this is the book for you. I could have read another 100 pages about Cory and Flynn...which is why I wish we got a bit more at the end. But you know what? Even with that little disappointment, when I closed my kindle....I sighed.

4.5 stars! I really enjoyed this one!! Who knew voyeurism could be so sexy?? I loved klutzy Cory and his inability to hold down a job. And I loved quirky Flynn and his Google research! Seriously, how could you not fall in love with him during the movie marathon. He's so unbelievably sweet.

"Several sites suggested comfortable clothes slash pajamas when engaging in movie marathons, so I bought sweatpants and T-shirts for us." He gestures at his own gray sweats and white T-shirt. "I left your clothes in the bathroom down the hall."

And I see that Luke will be getting his own book next, can't wait!!

Cory is 30, he’s gay, he’s single and he’s a klutz. He just got fired, again. Unfortunately, he can’t seem to keep his job more than one week. He doesn’t have money and he doesn’t have a place to live.

Flynn is 22 and he has an interesting business, he’s the owner of 'Public Displays of Everything', a website where voyeurism is the main interest.

Cory meets Flynn in an American Pub, when he’s visiting his friend. When Flynn finds out that Cory needs desperately a job he makes him an offer he can’t refuse – masturbate while others watch.

Cory needs money more than ever, so he accepts. They become friends and very quickly more, despite the fact they both were hurt in the past. Together, they will try to replace the bad memories, forget the past try to move on.

Sexy, sweet and funny “Public Display of Everything” was a great read! The story is easy to read and there’s no stupid drama. Both Cory and Flynn are real and lovable and they sexy moments are really hot. Loved them both!

I loved how sweet and honest are with each other. There’s sinsta-lust and insta-love, kinda, but I wasn’t bothered.

Overall, an enjoyable read!

I undoubtedly liked the book, don't get me wrong. But another part of me really wanted the volume on the book to be turned up a few notches.

Cory is a very sweet 30 year old would-be waiter / construction worker with an unused History degree, who tends to be a klutz, which causes him to quickly lose job after job after job. Long story short, Cory is aimless and floundering.

Flynn is the awkward, semi-nerdy, word-savvy 22 year old creator/owner of a popular London voyeurism and exhibitionism web site, Public Display of More. He has money, a nice apartment and loves his job, but he's lonely for something *more*.

After months of watching handsome Cory from a distance, "the kid" finally gets past his awkward nerves and approaches the out-of-work Cory with a proposition.
"Hi, my name is Flynn. Would you like to pretend to be me and whack it in a hotel window for my voyeuristic viewers? For $1,000 bucks."
Cory needs the money more badly than he needs his dignity to remain in his rat-infested youth hostel home, so he reluctantly agrees to touch himself, down there, for public consumption. (Yes, the hotel / towel / window scene was definitely HOT.)

And as secretly infatuated as Flynn is with Cory, Cory's attraction is most definitely reciprocal. So the slow burn that began as friendship eventually sparks and catches fire, consuming both Cory and Flynn.

Although both men were wronged in the past and have issues with trust and insecurity, they begin to overcome them *together* with a lot of head-on determination that I found very admirable.

Flynn's betrayer is firmly in the past, on another continent even, but Cory's is still attempting contact, several years later, through sporadic Facebook messages, which we're privy to at the beginning of each chapter of the book. (The messages gave an ominous "Oh, shit, here it comes" sort of edge to the story.)

It was a very cute book, but here's a bit of my own "more" that I would have liked to have seen:
➜ Cory, the klutz, being more "klutzy". We're repeatedly *told* that he's a klutz, but didn't *see* much proof of his complete and utter 'klutzdom' very often. Please don't tell me, show me.

➜ Flynn, the awkward blurter, being more "blurty". His Google searches and lists were hilarious, but a bit infrequent, so including more on those would have been great.

➜ The voyeurism and exhibitionism hook of the story getting a few more scenes on-page, because the fairly limited number that we did see were *HAWT*.

The book had a lot going for it and watching Cory and Flynn's relationship develop was a joy, but I didn't find a lot that differentiates this story from a lot of others out there.

3 1/4 *gimmie-a-bit-more* stars.

This book started great and I was loving it. Then when we got to the climax and resolution- I thought:

I don't know, I was expecting a lot more. I want to point out- I did appreciate that the twist wasn't the same ol' thing. The characters were great and it was a sweet read. I just wanted more angst. I recommend this to readers in the mood for a sweet, low angst story. 3.5 Stars.

4.5 ‘’Public display of fucking everything’’ stars

This was a really sweet book, about two flawed guys, one who was really shy and the other one a bit lost, finding each other and falling in love. There was no drama, some hurt/comfort, no miscommunication, just two guys falling in love and nagivating their way through it. And the sex was really fucking hot and there was public sex and voyeruism. It feels like this book was written for me because if I had to pick what I would love to see in a book, it would exactly be all of those things.

Quick summary: Flynn has a website about voyeurism but he never tried it himself and he asks Cody if he can do a video for him for his website, they both don’t think voyeurism is not for them, but then they start to fall in love and they explore what they like, together.

I loved Flynn so much. He was really shy and such a sweet guy. I loved seeing how he opened up to Cody, it was such a thing of beauty. I loved Cody too, he was a little lost but he was a strong character and I loved seeing him find his place in the world. And I loved these two together so much, they were so solid. I loved seeing them build a life together, it was so sweet to see.

Oh and the sex, hot damn it was so hot. The sex scenes were all so so good. But massive bonus for the public sex, I love a good public sex scene and they were done so well here.

The only reason why this isn’t five stars is because I wanted more, I would have loved to spend more time with Cody and Flynn, they were just so damn good together and I loved following them around as they discovered what they enjoy.

Here's another one that was WAY more than I expected.

I honestly thought I was going to get some PWP, some insta-lust and be on my merry way. What I didn't expect was the emotions and honest communications. Sure, there was insta-love but I totally bought every word of it. After reading an angst story with a stubborn alpha hero who couldn't express himself, this was a real breath of fresh air. Cory and Flynn may have been a little naïve but they never played games with each others emotions and were honest with each other when the falling in love started happening. I don't like angst just for the sake of it, and any conflict in this book was external or they actually talked to each other and explained their feelings. Like I said, a real breath of fresh air to me.

The premise was a real meet-cute and I thought Flynn's shyness was sweet and endearing. Cory was a bumbling charmer and I liked their chemistry a lot. The whole voyeur/exhibition thing was hot as all hell and the fact that these two were falling for each other made it even more so. I loved how they appreciated each other and all the "little things" that made them who they are. I loved the difference between everyday Flynn and sexytimes Flynn, Cory says "His fucking is instinctual. He may plan and prepare, but once he loses it, sex consumes him." Yeah, I totally got that and it was good stuff.

Everything with Luke was an ominous cloud that I was just waiting to dump rain on Flynn and Cory's new relationship and the way the author had that play out was really well done.

Can't wait for Luke's story!

Lovely uncomplicated story. These guys were so sweet together!

Cory is 30 years old and lost his job, again. So he is trying to figure out what to do while complaining to his friend Tammy in his favorite pub. But then he is approached by a cute, shy 'kid'. The kid turns out to be 22-year old Flynn who runs a website. A website revolving around voyeurism. Flynn offers Cory a thousand pounds if he lets himself be seen.. in front of a window... by other people... masturbating...

Cory accepts because he doesn't have a lot of other options. And he is kind of intrigued by the whole thing.

After the event he and Flynn become tentative friends. Cory is developing feelings for Flynn and definitely wants to jump his bones, but he is not sure Flynn is even gay...

I loved Cory and Flynn together. Cory was self assured, but a total klutz, and Flynn was just super weird. I really adored him. He was so incredibly awkward, it was super adorable! I mean, who looks up how a movie marathon is supposed to go and buys comfortable clothes that they can change into. So cute!

I really liked this one.

Short and sweet is what I got with this story. I absolutely adored Flynn and Cory. They were just too damn cute together. I am so glad that there was close to no drama and there was hardly any angst. It was just a nice comforting read that I really loved. I am so glad I picked up this one when I was told it was freebie. But freebie or not, the book is worth spending money on. Of course that's my opinion. But the story is just too damn likable for me not to gush a bit. Flynn was just so damn sweet. I loved him! He was extremely honest. He wore his emotions out and proud. He was never too shy to say anything and everything he was feeling. Cory is very forward. He goes for what he wants and takes chances. I love he's a klutzy mess. I can relate. I trip on air and run into walls when there is plenty of space for me to pass by them. I injure myself daily. So I found a somewhat of a kinder spirit in Cory. The honesty in Flynn and Cory's relationship was unique to find. In most books and their stories there is a lot of angst and secrets. But not with these boys and I loved it. To actually show their feelings and admit to them instead of harvesting them was refreshing. So happy to have stumbled upon this freebie. It's a great read that I will revisit in the future.

Original review:
This one will officially hit my all-time greats shelf! It wasn't perfect, but it was perfect for me! I would've NEVER read this book based on blurb alone. Voyeurism and exhibitionism - not for me. But that really had fuck all to do with this book. I trust several GR peeps. And they rarely let me down.

This author has become an autobuy for me! I discovered her on Friday and went through each of her m/m books throughout the course of the weekend. I'm hooked. And this was her best one! I am so totally in love with BOTH of these MCs.

Flynn - he stole my heart. He thinks very literally. It was so endearing! He is so innocent, but hot damn between the sheets. And Cory (Cory Mathews - Boy Meets World, anyone?) was just so lovable. How he could bounce back and be so content with life after being beaten down so many times. I just admire him so much. These two were so perfect for each other.

Such a simple sweet romance that hit all my buttons at exactly the right time. Read this book!

3.5, rounded up

I enjoyed this sexy little story. The characters were distinctive and very likeable. The dialogue flowed smoothly, sometimes humorous, sometimes sweet. That said, in the beginning, Flynn's character was a little too awkward. He was adorable, but I kept wondering if this was going to end up as a futuristic story and Flynn was really some kind of A.I. that didn't fully understand social norms. Also, a lot happens off page so the relationship development feels very rushed.

First of all, the title and cover. The title is very very clever! It will definitely get attention. And the models, I think they fit the bill. I really love the flannel/tank-top look on the Cory model. That look never ever gets old. ;)

This book has a really great premise! But I was a little disappointed on how it turned out. I want a kinkier story! XD I still loved the story though! Another criticism, I didn't liked how easy Cory accepted Flynn's offer and how Flynn For me, voyeurism and exhibitionism isn't that easy to accept or to indulge to. But nevertheless, I still loved how the story incorporated those. I love love love their exhibitionist scenes. :D

The greatest thing in this book are the MC's. I loved both Cory and Flynn. They are both adorable.
Cory, another sexy mothafucker MC. But the great thing about him is that he's a klutz! Who wouldn't love that? :D
And Flynn, so cute and shy. But hell kinky. XD Hey! He runs a voyeur/exhibitionist site! He's hell kinky! XD
The two of them are a perfect match. :) They both gone through a really rough time in their past but, how it's told in the book made it not angsty at all. And I loved that.

This was a really sweet and quite kinky read. A wonderful fluff that will make you feel light and happy. I think this will make you smile. ;)
A RECOMMENDED READ!
Enjoy! :D

I am a Cara Dee's fan since Aftermath! Her writing is incredible and that shows again in this book!

Public Display of Everything is a brilliant, kinky, hot, funny and romantic story!

Cory and Flynn have an amazing relationship! Although both of them have really sad moments in their past, they are sweet and tender! They have super hot sex (yes... what a bonus!!!), well they are a great couple!

One of the most interesting fact about this book is how all of this started! Original, unusual, funny, kinky... You have to read it and feel a voyeur yourself!

In a nutshell, Public Display of Everything is all fluff, with a dash of kinky awesomeness.

When I first read the blurb, I thought 'Oh. Exhibitionism/voyeurism?! Hell yeah, sign me up for that.' But what I got from this fantastic book was much more than that. It is a sweet story about two quirky guys, who overcome their issues together.

Cory is 30 and he's an American, who's been living in London for about 7 years. He's a major klutz, and even though he studied history and is pretty smart, he changes jobs all the time. Well, he also gets fired quite often.

Flynn is 22, and after moving to London, he created a website called 'Public Display of More'. The name speaks for itself. Problem is, his viewers want him to put on a show for them, and he can't do that.

One day, Cory is complaining to Tammy, his best friend–whom I really liked, by the way–about yet another lost job. Flynn overhears, and he offers Cory a job, specifically to impersonate him and jerk off for his site.

The rest, as they say, is history. Cory & Flynn quickly develop a friendship, soon after go headfirst into a relationship, and I mean things happened fast, but I didn't mind. It somehow worked. In the process, they discuss their pasts, and manage to overcome their problems.

I liked the back-story with Cory and Luke. While I must admit that I thought Luke was an asshole, judging by his messages at the beginning of each chapter, I was surprised by his role in Cory's life. I had a whole other theory, but the outcome was so much better than what I expected, and I forgave the guy, too.

All in all, this was a spoonful of sugar, and it put a big smile on my face! :)

P.S. I'm sorry, Eva, but I had to kinda steal your GIF or a similar version of it...

Re-read 3/12/19 - I didn't remember anything about this book - even while reading it. I liked it but didn't love it like I must have the first time! I'd probably give it 3.5 rounded down this time.

I loved this so much! Both Cory and Flynn have been hurt in the past. They are happy to bring their relationship out in public. Cory ends up reconciling with his uncle.

This was such a cute read!

I wasn't really sure about this book, and for a long time I didn't really think much about it. But once it became free on Amazon, I took the chance and got it. I don't regret that decision one bit! It was a really great book and I had so much fun reading it. It was such a cute, light read which was exactly what I needed to read and exactly what I wasn't expecting it to be. So if you pick this up, don't expect a really angsty or dark book, it's neither of those things.

The two characters were super cute together and I liked the idea of how they met. They both had their issues, of course, and they didn't have it completely easy, but at the same time it wasn't over repetitive or anything. Both Cory and Flynn had to let their walls down after being hurt in the past. And with Cory, he had to learn to move past what had happened to him in the past, though I did understand his struggle. Apart from that, there wasn't really a lot of conflict with the couple. It was just adjusting to being in a proper relationship and feeling comfortable with being an open couple.

Luke was an interesting aspect to the story. He's getting his own book, though I'm not sure if it'll be my thing. But I found him hard to like for a long time because I really wasn't sure what he did wrong. We don't know who he is until Cory finally tells Flynn and I will admit, I was a bit shocked. Still, I was glad we got to read the little messages he sent to Cory because we got some of his backstory without having it all unloaded at once.

Overall, I really did fall in love with this story. It was the perfect read, the characters were really cute and lovable and I had fun reading this. I definitely would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys cute and easy reads. Or if you just want something light without any angst.

Unfortunately I can't say anything polite and politic about this. Maybe it had the misfortune of being read after a really excellent book, or maybe my earlier take on Mrs Dee's writing ( https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... ) and my reading preferences not working out well together was more accurate than I thought.

Anyway. This story was an exercise in pointless, mindless waffle, and had an overdose of "cutesy" and "smartalecky" dialogue which got on my nerves fast. When the godawful "m/m speak", complete with the typical gimmicky sex terminology set in during what boring intercourse I read, I couldn't even make it past the 50% mark--and I already was skimming at that point.

Also, if an author claims to having researched BDSM, they should try to represent the lifestyle correctly. Besmirching it sure is not going to endear me to their books. No one in the lifestyle would order employees to call them "Master". Most certainly NOT in the United Kingdom where BDSM, especially gay BDSM, still is officially an offence capable of getting you behind bars and on sex offender lists. Duh!

4 stars!! 😍 I didn't think that I would like a story about voyeurism.. but I did.. in fact I loved it 💕 because it was so much more than just that.
Cory, a lovable klutz who despite his inability to keep a job has a fun, positive personality and when he meets nerdy, awkward and sweet Flynn...., sparks fly.. 🔥🔥. Short of cash, Cory agrees to perform on Flynn's website, a paid internet website for voyeurism for like minded members. That one performance triggers the beginning of a relationship between the two. Slowly and sweetly they open up about their lives and start to fall in love 💕💕.. While they are building their lives together, the readers are seeing these intriguing letters at the beginning of every chapter, written to Cory by someone named Luke seemingly over the span of 6-7 years. Who Luke is to Cory is left to the reader's imagination, till the very end.. and what a lovely surprise it is.. 😍.
This is a beautiful story, with lovable MCs who are just perfect for one another.. last but not the least the voyeurism showcases some of the hottest sex ever.. 🔥💕. Highly recommended as a steamy, light and sweet read.. 👍

Hello unexpected twist. Look at you be a book that surprised me.

Delicious little confection with intensely hot dirty talk and a voyeuristic kink that turned the heat levels up to eleven. All that and it still managed to deliver a lovely romantic HEA between two lonely guys.

Huckleberry and Klutz, FTW.
