I mean, are Tom and Jerry public domain characters now? Can anyone just make an A.I.-generated book about them? Even though they're cleverly disguised as "Tomcat" and Jerry, the cat and mouse and frying pan antics are instantly recognizable.

I don't know if this guy had ChatGPT just narrate existing cartoons or make up new shit or what, but this is all kinds of fucked up. At first the stories are just your typical Tom & Jerry shenanigans, but then they almost become friends, then they actually do become friends and then have time travel and space adventures and shit? Along the way they appear to mutate into mouse-headed humans, if the A.I.-generated images accompanying each story are any indication. Let's take a look at some of those, because I'm telling you, this is some of the weirdest shit I've seen in a long time. Other people using ChatGPT and shit to make "books" hoping to make an easy buck seem to at least make the slightest effort into using recognizable images, but OMG. Feast your eyes:

The stories are your usual, grade zero ChatGPT bullshit where nothing actually happens. Check out the time Tom and Jerry find a pocket watch in the attic that lets them travel through time. Are you ready for these crazy antics?

They met a young girl named Clara who was fascinated by their strange appearance and mannerisms. Clara showed them around the house and shared stories about her family and the house’s history. Tomcat and Jerry learned that Clara’s family had lived in the house long before it became theirs. They were amazed by how different everything was and enjoyed learning about the past.

During their time in the past, Tomcat and Jerry helped Clara with various tasks, such as organizing a family gathering and fixing an old clock.

Then they use the watch to return to their own time. What a thrilling time travel adventure! Amazing!
