What starts as a glitch and an unfortunate, grisly discovery snowballs into a race to prevent Simon and his evil minions from hacking GeoNet’s uncrackable security code and selling it. With the keys cracked wide open, evil forces—or at least very bad people—can not only gain access to the world’s digital information but defeat its physical locks as well. NIPC’s top cracker hounds, Sue Ann Jones and Loren Hunter, risk life, limb (and more than a few personal belongings) in pursuit—and protection!?—of more despicable V-Netizens than you can throw a cheetah at.
Sci-fi mystery drama. set in the “near future”. FBI vs bad guys on the “v-net” It’s a fun read. Nice conclusion to the trilogy. I wish there were 6 more! I could definitely enjoy more of Sue and Loren and their alter egos of Sekmet and Secret Agent Man (Sam)
This author has put together a delightful and intriguing story with characters I thoroughly like! Well, except for some of the bad guys, who are downright rotten. Sue, one of the main characters, is amusing and interesting, and Loren manages to be charming—in spite of being sarcastic and cheeky—he's my favorite character. The story was clever and had enough twists to keep me guessing...though nothing was "hidden" from the reader. The author did a great job of painting events with colorful and exciting strokes! I won’t give away the ending, but it was just right!
Saving Simon is the last book in the Cracker Hounds series about FBI non-special-agent Sue Ann Jones. She is amusing and interesting. Loren Humter (former hacker and now non-special agent, too) is charming, sarcastic and (I admit it) hot. I like the way Jessica Draper paints the story. The plot moves along and I could see it playing like a movie in my head. Awesome! Definitely worth a read! (And, in my case, a second read!)
