Walk Through Fire

Book 3 of “The Faith in Peril Trilogy”

Assisting a neighbor in need is the Amish way, and, when Mr. Fisher’s health deteriorates, Ruth Glick discovers him unconscious on the floor. After help arrives, she is forced to contend with Mr. Fisher’s wayward son, Gabriel, who has left the Gmay to live with the ‘English’.

Ruth plans to marry Isaac Zook, whom she has been courting for more than a year. After a night of singing, disaster occurs in the form of a devastating house fire. While bravely rescuing her younger brother, Abe, from the flames, Ruth suffers severe burns, marring her once lovely features. This prompts Isaac to have a shocking change of heart, ending their courtship.

Struggling in recovery, an unexpected friendship with Gabriel develops, regardless of the fact that he has been shunned. There is something about Ruth he finds intriguing. This damaged, fragile woman has a backbone of pure Amish steel, and, despite his determination to live with the ‘English’, he finds himself in a quandary. Love, in all its forms, is about to sweep him off his feet.

Holly Newcastle first saw the Amish on a summer trip through Minnesota as a teenager, espying them from a neighboring farm. These quiet, gentle people have fascinated the author ever since. A lover of romance and history, she's achieved her dream of writing about a fictional Amish family in the "Faith in Peril Trilogy".

A New York native, Holly lives in Colorado Springs with her husband and two children. She enjoys gardening, hiking, and traveling, but only when she's able to tear herself away from the computer, which does not happen often enough.

The love between .Ruth and Isaac was tested. When she suffered burns rescuing Abe from a fire. Her outward beauty is marred, and he breaks it off. It was the English Gabriel that stands by her, through this. A good
series, of three sisters finding love and marriage.

A fire changed all that when she walked through fire to save her little brother. Will the man she is to marry soon still stand by her . Will she over come ? Exciting to the end. This can be read as a stand alone but I wanted to read about each sister so now I am going to start the first one. Please read this book if you love Amish romance Christian reads. You will love it

Great read...

I just love this trilogy that Holly Newcastle has written. I wish that this book would have continued on, but, I guess since it is the third book in a trilogy, the rest is left for our imagination. I read this book in less than a day, I didn't want to stop reading. The storyline is so good. I just love the characters that she has brought alive. I highly recommend this book and the first two in this trilogy.

GREAT BOOK

GREAT BOOK

Of all three books, I liked this one best. I loved the way Ruth's family treated Gabriel from the start. They accepted him just as God accepts us! I find it disheartening though that the "English" accepted Ruth's disfigurement better than the Amish, however, I have seen the same in my life regarding Christians.

This was my favorite of the trilogy though I wish the author would continue writing about this family as I've grown to love them. This book had all I needed. Inspiration, love and a little intrigue!

Wonderful

I loved this book as much as, if not more than, the first 2 books in the trilogy. I highly recommend this trilogy to those who love good, clean, Christian romance.

Pain and Plans Change For The Good

There was an unfortunate house fire. The house was totalled, and two suffered injuries. They were in pain, but life served them
better choices.

Strong characters and full-bodied story - a great read! This was the last of a trilogy about Amish sisters, and the men who loved them. These books were wonderful stories!
