Bridger Falls #1

Forever To Me

Rate this book
After a one-night stand with the town’s grumpy bar owner, I should have walked away. Instead, I stayed—and now I’m falling for the former country music legend hiding in Bridger Falls, Wyoming.

Walker was the last person I expected to end up with after leaving Nashville. But there he was, behind the bar, pouring whiskey, looking like sin in flannel, and making it way too easy to forget why I swore off love.

He’s done with music. I’m done with love. But when our pasts come knocking, and the whole town watches, pretending we’re nothing isn’t an option anymore.

Now, we’re tangled in lyrics and late-night kisses, chasing melodies and breaking every rule we swore to keep.

This was never supposed to be more than one night.

Some people belong to the past, but some are meant to be your forever.

Walker & Violet’s story is a spicy, small-town western romcom with a grumpy bar owner, steamy songwriting sessions, and a love story too big to stay unwritten.

Fleeing the wounds inflicted by the rat race of Nashville for wide open skies out west, Violet stumbles upon the hottest cowboy bar back on whom she’s ever laid eyes. After a couple of stalkery patrons make bets on the person with whom Violet will be going home, she grabs the hot broody bartender and kisses him silly, then goes home with him.

Former famous country music performer Wyatt is instantly captivated by the redhead who looks seriously out of place in his clean and serviceable, yet very basic dive bar. Violet is certain she knows Wyatt from somewhere but sets aside going down that rabbit hole in favor of the most scorching one night stand of her life.

When the smoke clears and they realize that they have business and proximity in common, they’ll have to decide whether to pretend nothing happened or to embrace the chaos and serendipity.

Meanwhile a town full of eccentrics, a rescued pup, and numerous encounters add to the excitement.

I was furnished an advance reader copy from the author and bookfunnel, and I’m sharing my honest thoughts.

Another beautifully written small town romance! Forever To Me features Walker and Violet two musicians both with a past escaping the country music scene. Walker has lived in Bridger Falls with his daughter ever since he left his past life behind and Violet is only meant to be visiting her aunt for a short time. Their chemistry is instant and they are so perfect for each other. The real heroes of this story are Maggie and Mack. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments with so many loveable side characters as well and I hope we get their stories in future too. I really liked this one! I received a complementary copy from the author.

A cute country romance read! I loved all the country music references. Walker and Violet’s relationship was cute but went a little to zero to one hundred for me. I felt like we missed some progression. Mack as a character is absolutely hilarious and had me laughing. All of the characters really made this an enjoyable read. The epilogue missed an opportunity to better end this story in my opinion.

I absolutely loved this little town and am excited for book 2 that was set up so well!

4.0 stars. Single dad, small town, slow burn romance. Really fun, cute story, full of a cast of very likable characters. A bit of drama when both the main characters' pasts come back to haunt them. This is the start of a new series. I'm curious who'll be next in book 2

I was so eager to start this! I have adored Erin since the start of Freedom Valley, so when she announced her new series I was over the moon.

I am not usually a big fan of cowboy / western romances, but i really enjoyed that! It wasn’t over the top cowboy, was more like country music cowboy from Nashville if that makes sense 😆

I think Erin writes the best ‘found family’ that i’ve ever read. The group of girls - Cami, Violet, Maggie, Poppy and Mack were my absolute favorite parts of this book. They’re so funny, sweet, heartwarming and just overall a joy to read.

I LOVED Mack. Her character was my absolute favorite in the book. She screamed 15 Y/O girl - sassy, thinks she knows everything, but also loves you so much secretly. Her role in Walker and Violet’s relationship was absolutely wonderful.

Erin KILLS a single parent romance, and this one didn’t disappoint.

I would say my ONLY issue was this felt a bit long. At times i found myself getting a bit bored but it didn’t hurt the overall story / plot of the book.

You’ll find:
-Third Act Issue/Assumptions
-Single Dad
-Retired / Left Musicians/Artists
-Found Family

Absolutely loved this and would def recommend!

Walker and Violet are life that is all…..
okay that’s not all but I feel like I can’t put into worlds how much I loved them.

Violet and Walker are a match made in heaven! this is a slowish moving slow burnish romance that hits all the boxes.

I love that they take the time to be with each other and don’t rush things and I love how Violet brings Walker out of the shell he has put himself into after his hurt. And I love that Walker encourages and supports violet after all her hurt. They both have baggage that needs to be said and of course it comes out, there is even a tiny twist in there as well.

Also I absolutely love Mack and Maggie and the parts they play into their lives as well!! all the other side characters they are just a hoot as well.

This story was just amazing and the HEA made my heart happy.
I hope to see more of them in the series as the next books come out 🥰

BOOK RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
SPICE: 🌶

BOOK TROPE:
🐐 Small town romance
🐐 Found family
🐐 Witty banter
🐐 Secrets

This book owned me! I devoured it like it was my last meal, and now I’m sitting here, impatiently waiting for more like a kid staring at the oven waiting for cookies to bake. 🍪👀

The plot? Chef’s kiss—unique, amazing, and had me hooked from chapter one. I absolutely loved Cami, Polly, Maggie, and Mack. The witty banter? Immaculate. Erin Branscom gets it. 💬🔥

And don’t even get me started on Bridger Falls. I’d move there tomorrow—no questions asked. Small-town charm, great people, and, apparently, a bonus goat package from Walker? Sign me up. 🏔️🐐🐐 (Seriously, Walker, I’ll take two. No backsies.)

This book was funny, heartwarming, and so freaking good—if the next ones don’t drop soon, I might just riot (or at least dramatically sigh about it). 💜

Thank you Erin for allowing me to be in your ARC team 🥰

This book is superb! This was a delight to read. If you love cowboy/single dad/small town…then this is the book for you! I received a #gifted EARC from the author. To me, this is the author’s best work to date. The author incorporates humor and sexiness in a way that’s not forced. The MMC and FMC have an instant connection that blossoms from there. I highly recommend reading this!!

I was fortunate to receive an ARC of this amazing story. Violet is string, kind, and witty. Walker is gruff on the outside, but a softie sweetheart within. He is so caring and supportive of Violet and his relationship with his daughter is Amazing! The pie scene had me laughing out loud and the goats… the goats!!! I love the meddling small town and how they care about eachother like family. Maggie, Mack, Cami, and Poppy are Hilarious and I cannot wait to read more of Bridger Falls!

I loved this book! How is it possible to love every character in this town! The people, how life flows more peacefully, the dinamics.. all of it! Erin has made me want to move in there too 🤭

In this story we have two characters who were used by the music industry. Walker is a man who escaped being in the spotlight years ago and that hides who he really is, and tries to have a good life in a small town with his daughter and friends. Violet ran away after being trated poorly and needed a place to recover, and her aunt's small town seemed the right place to be.
They meet in his bar, and have one night that both believed would be a one time thing, but aftewards... they realise maybe one time wasn't enough. With each day they grew closer and started seeing each other as more and more.

Violet was a sassy and independent woman who knows her place and her worth (even if it was shaken by her recent events).
Walker was a mix of a cinnamon roll, a teddy bear, a protective hero and a perfect gentleman. All combined with his remaining traits made him the perfect male lead character. I liked his vive from the beggining and was really rooting for him to have his HEA.

We could see their chemistry from the start, and their banter was spot on. The way they loved each other, was clear in every page and in every interaction they had.

“I love you like my heart always knew you were the one. Like my soul didn’t settle until it found yours.” I shake my head, my voice thick with meaning. “I love you like you’re the song I’ve been humming my whole life without knowing the words.”

The remaining characters were perfectly introduced into this story, and we could see their proximity and have a little bit of each and every one of them in this story. Their banter and familiarity was heartwarming and made me want to get to the bottom of each one's story.
I really need more of this world!

The flirting & the TENSION 🫢🫢

The GOATS had me creasing!!

I found the FMC Violet so relatable being screwed over people close to her, starting fresh & making new amazing friends. The scene with her dog had me SOBBING!!! 🥹🐶🩷
So heart warming!! 🩷🩷🩷

I want to live in Bridger Falls!!!!
I want Violet, Cami, Poppy, Maggie & Mack as my friends.
& I most certainly want Walker as my boyfriend!! 😍👌🏼

This was another new author for me and I really enjoyed it! I think I’m beginning to really love Cowboy romances, (even the MMC SWEARS he’s not a cowboy😉). Erin Branscom’s writing was fun and she created a really easy and enjoyable read.

Violet is a country star looking to start over when she flees Nashville and lands in Bridger Falls. A town I WISH was real! A one night stand with a steamy hot bar owner leaves her reeling. She starts to settle into town and realises the secrets in this town surrounding the bar owner run deep and she’s itching to know exactly what he’s hiding.

Walker is hiding his musical past in the comfort of Bridger Falls. Single dad, and bar owner…his life revolves around his kiddo and his business. That is until a fiery red head blows into town and changes everything. What was supposed to be one night turns into so much more. But they both have walls an secrets that need to be let out.

This book was full of found family , fun banter and sweet moments. The burn was slow but spicy…there was a lot of build up but it didn’t really follow through in the end. It kind of fell flat which was a bit disappointing. But all in all a really fun and feel good read 🩷

Forever to Me by Erin Branscom had all the right ingredients for a cozy, feel-good small-town romance. Walker and Violet’s story had great bones — the premise was solid, the setting was charming, and the characters had real heart. I especially loved the found family vibes and the strong sense of community that threaded through the story.

The witty banter was a definite highlight — there were several moments that had me laughing out loud. Maggie was hands down the cutest, sassiest, shit-stirring old lady, and Mack was just a whole vibe on her own. The side characters really brought the town to life.

Unfortunately, I had to drop my rating to 3.5/5 due to the repetitive phrasing and noticeable grammar issues, which pulled me out of the story more than I’d like. Also, the spicy tension we saw early in the book kind of fizzled out — I was hoping for more of that heat throughout!

That said, I could totally see this being a super cute TV series — it has that kind of charm. And despite my 3-star rating, I’m still keen to read the next book in the series. There’s a lot of potential in this world, and I’m curious to see where it goes!

If you love a small town romance, with a dash of a grumpy rancher, some banter, angst and humour, then add this one to your tbr right away!

I was hooked from the first page, and could not put it down.
Walker (MMC) and Violet (FMC) are both country musicians who are escaping their musical pasts for various reasons. Walker moved to Bridger Falls 15 years ago and owns the local bar. Violet is visiting her aunt for a while to escape her old life.
Instant chemistry and a what was intended to be a one night stand certainly have you hot under the collar.

The side characters Maggie (Violet's aunt) and Mack (Walker's 15yr old daughter) are superb...and the banter between all the characters is so well written.
There are goats, dogs, eccentric and nosey towns people,...there's drama, a plot twist and those kick your feet together and squeal moments.

This book is a fantastic read, and I am excited to read more books by this author😍😍

Thank you so much to Erin & her team for the eARC copy of this book!!

A fun small-town romance that delivers heart, plenty of laugh out loud moments, and a touch of country charm. It follows Walker, a grumpy single dad and bar owner, and Violet, a passionate songwriter, sparking a love story that’s both tender and electric. Erin Branscom crafts a vivid, cozy setting in Bridger Falls, making it easy to fall for the characters and their journey. I really enjoyed the pacing of the story and the romance was very much a slow burn but in the best way.

Perfect for readers who love swoon-worthy cowboys, single dad tropes, & heartfelt romances with funny side characters (Maggie!!) and a strong sense of found family and community.

Forever To Me is out now & waiting for you to download on KU!! 🩷

“A cowboy? Violet, are you living in a romance novel?”

It has been a looooong time since a book has had me laughing in all the good ways.

This book had me kicking my feet with how much I loved this book and these characters. Walker and Violet are so loveable. We have amazing side characters that really helped bring the story alive

There is only 2-3 spicy scenes so we really get to watch the chemistry build up between the main characters.

I can’t wait to go back to Bridger Falls. Now Erin, girlfriend. I either needs Cami’s story OR Violets sister!!

Walker and Violet are twin souls who find each other in a epic whirl wind one night stand and then realize they will be in close proximity to each other. The romantic journey they follow is filled with tension and broody stubburness. There is doggy saving and lots of animals. There are villians and secrets and didni mention lots of tension. Favorite quote. "Y'all are acting like emotionally constipated Hallmark characters" definitely an enjoyable read. If you like non cowboy coyboys and music than this is for you.

I loved this book! I’m such a sucker for a good small town, cowboy romance especially with found family. Walker and Violet had instant chemistry and were just perfection. Mack & Maggie had me giggling throughout the whole book! The pie scene & the goats!! OMG I was cackling! I just loved all of the characters so much! Well except Stella… she can kick rocks. When Walker shows up for Violet at the bar and puts himself out there… swoon! Can’t wait for the next adventure in Bridger Falls… I love that town so much.

I want to go to Bridger Falls! What a great small town romance! I was hooked from the start. I enjoy Erin’s writing she has away of writing that you don’t want the story to end. I never found myself skipping because it was rambling or felt like it was just space fillers. I was caught up in the whirlwind that was Violet and Walker’s relationship. The past hurts and betrayal that they each suffered is relatable in real life maybe not to the extent of the music industry but certainly in normal situations. The climax caught me off guard. I wasn’t expecting that. I enjoyed the way Erin ended it. I look forward to the next book - to see what happens with Cami’s ranch.

*my first arc review*
I really enjoyed this. It was slower than the other books I’ve read with similar tropes but I feel like I’ve read some heavy books lately so that was needed. It was an easy read, very wholesome and gave off cosy vibes.

Likeable characters, some of my fav tropes, just an overall nice read.

I’ll definitely be looking to read more by this author.

Just finished reading an advanced copy of a book that was just released on April 3rd called, Forever To Me. I absolutely adored this book! This was about a grumpy bar owner and single dad named Walker, and a feisty red-headed musician running from her past named Violet. Their paths collide one night and their lives as they know it will never be the same. They can't keep out of each other's orbit, I mean it's a small town after all, and honestly they're not sure if they even want to keep away from each other. They're both hiding parts of themselves because they've both been hurt in the past and need to learn how to trust again. But as they get to know each other they sense something safe in each other, feeling like maybe they finally found someone they can open up to. Not to mention the chemistry between them is off the charts! This was such a fun, enjoyable love story. It gave Hart of Dixie and Gilmore Girls vibes which I totally loved. I devoured this book, I loved every part of it! 🩷📚

Thank you to the author and to the publisher for this ARC of Forever To Me, in exchange for an honest review.

Another fun love story by Erin Branscom.
