AMAZING. VelvetOscar never fails with the writing and the choice of words, the diction is just impeccable. Most of the book was filled angst but in such a capturing poetic way that never allows you to get bored, melancholic but in such a beautiful way. And if you listen to the song core ‘ngrato before you read you will just get into an even better mood that will allow you to absorb the story better and live through all the emotions that the plot conveys and that the characters display in such a beautiful way. Also the way the story was written ; the way we learn about their past is just chefs kiss, the way it goes from the present to kind of flashbacks that are concealed in the middle of the story just makes you live through them and experience them. I could literally go on and on about how great this book is for pages and pages. 100% recommended. All my respect for velvetoscar for their beautiful mind.

So this was heartbreaking. Like, from the very beginning till the end. I really don't know why I began reading this, maybe I just wanted to feel miserable, or maybe it was just the promise of an happy ending.. yes it was both, but more the promise of the happy ending, I would not have read it otherwise. But it was so sad, oh my god, so much angst.. and and I had this feeling of sadness all through the fic, and it didn't leave me until I finished it.. (I still have it a little) so basically I spent the past two days just reading
And did I said it was sad? God Harry couldn't cry 'cause he had nothing left, so I did it for him, I cried, and a lot.
But it was good after all.. maybe bittersweet even in the end, I knew they would have found each other again, they always do, but it was so heartbroken, they were so broken, and so insicure and so in love! I'm so overwhelmed :(

Only Velvetoscar is able to make a sobbing mess out of me with a breakup!!!
One that happened over a year before the story starts no less!

When Louis broke up with Harry he literally took the sunshine out of Harry’s life and left him alone in the dark. And it hurts. So incredibly much.
When reading you experience the same emotions as Harry and his pain and desperation become yours. Hence me crying without end. But while it hurts, through the pain you connect with the characters on a deeper level and you love them so much more because of it.

The whole story is so real and honest and shows that sometimes fighting for love even if winning seems impossible is still worth a shot.

Simply perfection!

I absolutely loved this. Velvetoscar never seems to disappoint me. Her writing is beautiful, and every word fits together so perfectly. The story is sad, painful and heartbreaking yet so beautiful and breathtaking. The characters are so iconic and interesting to follow. I also loved all the references. Tan pocos diálogos, tanto qué expresar (y que logra), tanto que apreciar y tanto que amar. Una de mis diez historias favoritas de ellos, sin lugar a dudas. Porque sinceramente, nadie le puede ganar al poder de las descripciones que hay aquí. Realmente increíbles.

Honestly, this was not my favorite fanfic. Don't get me wrong, it had some good moments. I personally am not a fan of exes to lovers, but I decided to read this because it was Velvetoscar and I love their writing. The writing was INCREDIBLE, as always, but I just did not love it. I kept waiting for there to be some big moment between Louis and Harry, but it just felt like there never was.

The book is AMAZING, just not to my taste. I gave it 4 stars because, for the right person, this could easily be ranked with "Young and Beautiful" and "Tired Tired Sea". Velvetoscar is still amazing, I just wasn't the biggest fan of this book.

It was a quick read so I definitely enjoyed that!

Es bueno pero no me encantó.

Toda la historia está llena de drama y eso me gustó bastante (en algunas partes en verdad sufrí) creí que al final nos iban a dar todo el romance que no tuvimos en el libro pero no fue así, siento que el final fue muy apresurado y no me dió lo que yo esperaba, me quedo a deber mucho romance y algunas cosas no tienen un cierre como tal.

Decidí leer el extra de esta historia para tener lo que no tuve en el original pero me quedé igual, el final del extra acabo de la misma manera, muy apresurado y en vez de contestar las preguntas te dejo aún más.
