This issue of our journal is centered on the firsts in life. Literary and visual artists from around the world depict what firsts mean to them; from adventures to philosophical thoughts and everything in-between! 10% of sales from this issue get donated to the CoachArt organization. In recording into the notebook these real stories of life and the thoughts we generate about them, we get a glimpse into understanding a great deal about ourselves and society, where our conscious has been and the direction its going. Thought Notebook is based on a true story: humanity’s story. This journal is our Human Thought Project, allowing us to delve into the minds of humanity and learn more about who we are by documenting into the notebook, thoughts and expressions on particular subjects.

WHO I AM Writer, Researcher, Educator, Supporter of Social Change, Health Advocate, Spiritual Scientist & Avid Thinker About Life
WHAT I DO I promote the practice of strategic awareness by creating both physical and online content and spaces to educate, recognize our inherent problems, express our unique purpose, and synergize to connect what is working in the world to advance humanity.
WHY I'M HERE I believe that each person and organization has a unique role as part of a wider global community to create a peaceful, sustainable, loving presence on Earth, but we cannot begin to play that role until we become more mindful and aware of who we are, and what we want.
A wonderful, dynamic, moving spread of articles, pieces and visual art focusing on the theme of 'Firsts' and covering touchpoints such as Healing, Mindfulness, Expression and conceptual ideas. Literary pieces range from the affecting, reflective 'Rain, And More Rain' to the inspiring and carefully structured 'First Estate Sale'. Visual art such as the haunting, spectral first-time piece '1573' and the profound, layered visual possibilities of 'Echoes of The Fall' are complimented by the elegant, pretty layout and presentation of the journal. Thought Notebook is a very worthwhile purchase for those looking for thought-provoking, challenging art of various mediums, reflecting real-life and all its endless possibilities.
I was very happy to receive this as a Goodreads Giveaway. Thank you.
The first issue of this journal is a great first glimpse as to what is to come. The theme is "Firsts" and though broad in scope is tied together through the headings and subsections. The editors are proposing a new type of publication that tries together the melting pot of human experience and to publish those viewpoints that are perhaps overshadowed by coporate publications. A wonderful set of illustrators, artists, poets and experience.
Here, too, you've got a decent mix of art, poetry and nonfiction, with a clear spiritual focus. It's also lighter in tone, sometimes funny, with interesting overlaps and some deep thinking. So again, depending on what you're looking for - content or presentation - it will either appeal to you or not. I liked it, though.
There is a first for everything, and Lahr put together quite a few wonderful ones to read. I adored the Though Notebook and am looking for other editions!
I won this book in the Goodread's giveaway! I found this collection of art and articles to be enjoyable and thought inspiring. I loved it and will definitely pick up more if I have the opportunity.
