Edmond Humm is now doing what he wanted to do most of his life. He is writing novels. His first adventure in the business of writing began when he was eight-years-old. He wrote, drew, printed and published his own comic books on the streets of East Los Angeles. That was a long time ago.
Ed’s fiction writing credits include two published novels: Eternity and Golden Goose and eight indie published novels. His short story, The War’s over won a literary prize. His nonfiction credits include hundreds of instructional manuals and guides. He was the sports and history editor for Anka society in San Jose, California.
He received his BA degree from Chaminade University of Hawaii, and did his graduate work at the University of South Carolina-MFA. As a teacher at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, he taught computer science and studied creative writing. When not writing, he mentors high school students and tutors college students in both writing and computer science.
He lives in Florida with his wife.

Good story
These stories are interesting and just perfect for the post operative patient who needs to be taken away from a painful reality and lost in one with these wonderful dogs and their not always such smart humans

The 4th book in the Magic dog mysteries series. Magic, a big golden retriever and Ryan, a US Marine met in war-torn Iraq. Magic and Ryan have a secret. At home in the US they find that the enemy is not so obvious as Magic's special gift makes him and his family a target. A product of genetic experimentation, Magic can think like a human. Much of the story is written from Magic's point of view, making this series extraordinary, fresh and fun. How does a dog with human intelligence see and understand humans, and other dogs? He has a unique advantage to see and interact with both. Magic and Ryan continue on their journey through life and adventures in this fast paced page-turner. Danger is always just a bark away, it seems. In the end, it's about protecting the ones you love. And who better to know how to love and protect his family than Magic, brave and strong.
If you haven't read the first 3 books in this series it won't diminish the enjoyment of this one. I started reading Magic's Memory and I was hooked and quickly grabbed the others I had missed.

I just love the"Magic" books. I've read them all! I do hope there will another one soon. It seems I've waited forever for this book to come to print!! I enjoy reading about Ryan and Magic and their expanded families. With Ryan now married and Magic with his mate Charm and their son Wizard. I LOVE dogs and this series always keeps me in suspense. Will Magic be okay because Ryan and Magic always get into some international or national defense intrigue! There's a happy ending folks. It's very enjoyable and definitely keeps your interest!
