I am in the cover photo on this book. I deeply enjoyed being a part of the project. I know several of the other models and was able to get many of the photos signed in my copy. Definitely recommended for true fans of War for the Oaks. The author of this work created a beautiful companion piece to enjoy alongside.

War for the Oaks was the first urban fantasy novel I read, and I devoured it. A friend lent me their copy of this book, received through Kickstarter. I enjoyed seeing the places in the book. I used to live in Minneapolis, so it was also great so see a few places I didn't know as well as those I did, and see familiar names like Byerlys.

For those who don't read a lot of fantasy, take a closer look at the names of the models. Some great fantasy writers are in those photos!

Excellent companion to the book War For the Oaks by Emma Bull. Photos of the locations described in Bull's book (pay attention to the models' names) and some very entertaining essays. Must have for any fan of War For the Oaks
