I got what I wanted. I became buddy-buddy with my boss in an instant. But the cost will be hefty . . . finding a husband by tomorrow.

Scottie Price just started a new job, and it's a real sausage fest. She's the only woman on a team filled with Brads and Chads. Expecting a bachelor pad atmosphere, she is quickly corrected when she finds out everyone is happily married.

In an effort to impress her boss, Scottie mentions her non-existent husband in a company meeting. But eagle-eyed Chad points out her lack of wedding ring. Panicked, Scottie creates a story about her unhappy marriage. Unfortunately for Scottie, her boss has a solution - a one-on-one session with the best marriage counsellor in the Northeast, who happens to be her boss's husband.

With no way out of her lie, Scottie agrees to see him. Frantic, she calls in help from her best friend who sets her up with his brother, an improv-obsessed millionaire.

Enter Wilder Wells. More than happy to take on the job, he teaches Scottie the main rule of always say yes. But the rule backfires during the session when Wilder signs them up for an eight-day summer marriage camp with all of Scottie's co-workers where she'll have to share a cabin with her way-too-handsome fake husband.

From New York Times bestselling author comes a brand new sizzling summer read that will have you laughing, swooning . . . and sweating.

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.

You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.

I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged children.

DNF’ed at 75% 😢

I’m honestly so sad because I had really high expectations for this one.

Ngl, the first 40-45% was pretty good. The book was hilarious—I legit laughed out loud during some scenes and was planning to give it 5 stars. But after hitting the 50% mark, my rating dropped to like 3-3.5 stars... then the spice hit 😢 Look, I don’t mind spice, but this one was just icky and way too much 😭

I went in knowing it was supposed to be cutesy and summery, but the spice? Nah, it wasn’t it 😭 I just couldn’t bring myself to keep going, so I had to DNF. The book had so much potential, but sadly :( it just didn’t click for me. Also, there were a few scenes that made me super uncomfortable (personally).

I’m really happy for those who enjoyed it, but unfortunately, it wasn’t my vibe :(

I haven’t laughed out loud like this in ages—this book is pure joy in paperback form and a full-throttle rollercoaster of hilarity, heart, and healing.

Let’s talk about Wilder. Oh. My. Goodness. Wilder is an absolute unicorn of a romantic lead—funny, endearing, a little unhinged in the best way, and so unapologetically himself. He’s the kind of guy who can wear mismatched socks, crack terrible jokes, and still win your heart before you finish your morning coffee. He’s genuine, goofy, and caring with a heart so pure it makes you wonder if he’s real (spoiler: he’s not, but I’d like to pretend he is). Seriously, I want to bottle him up and sell him as emotional support in book boyfriend form.

This book had me full-on cackling, snorting, and gasping for air while my drink spilled all over my shirt—more than once. At this point, I should be hired as a laugh track for a sitcom. I dare you to read the serial zipper scene, the bologna incident, or the wild therapy sessions and not completely lose it. If Netflix doesn't option this for a limited rom-com series starring Adam Sandler as the wildly unqualified therapist Sanders, they’re missing out.

Now, I did knock half a star off—not because the story wasn’t wonderful, but simply because it ran a bit long. That said, the slower pacing works here. Fake marriage and forced proximity tropes demand a bit of simmering tension and emotional development, and both Scottie and Wilder have deeply personal baggage to unpack before they’re ready to unpack each other (figuratively and, eventually, literally).

So what’s the deal with the plot?
Scottie Price is 29, divorced, emotionally fried, and looking to start over in New York City. New apartment, new job, new friends—everything is going semi-okay until she blurts out a lie at work about her imaginary husband. When a coworker calls her bluff, she panics. Enter Wilder, her bartender friend’s charming, free-spirited brother who volunteers to play the role of devoted husband in a last-ditch effort to keep her job intact.

What starts as one therapy session spirals into an eight-day summer marriage retreat in the Catskills, complete with intimacy exercises, candle-lit bonding, and a very suspicious red cabin equipped with some seriously Fifty Shades-style furniture. As Scottie fights through her nerves and emotional scars, she learns that Wilder is more than a barefoot free spirit—he’s an art school grad, a self-made tech billionaire, and someone who truly listens.

Their journey—part healing, part chaos, part slow-burning chemistry—is both wildly entertaining and surprisingly tender. Through group therapy, couples games, and some steamy almost-moments, Scottie and Wilder discover that love isn’t about perfection—it’s about being seen, flaws and all, and still being chosen anyway.

Bottom line:
This book is absolutely delightful—bursting with clever humor, quirky side characters, sizzling chemistry, and so much heart. It brilliantly blends forced proximity with fake relationship tropes, all wrapped in layers of laugh-out-loud ridiculousness and genuine emotional growth. It’s a feel-good, can’t-put-down, rom-com romp that made me laugh, swoon, and maybe even tear up a little.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ — A near-perfect romantic comedy that’s equal parts ridiculous and real. Highly recommended for fans of banter, emotional arcs, and books that make your heart smile.

↳ ᡴꪫ ⸝⸝ surprisingly, i enjoyed this a lot more than i thought i would. it was so entertaining - not one page bored me. it was a cute, fun, and a perfect summer-y romance. til summer do us part follows wilder wells and scottie price faking a marriage with dozens of other couples at an eight day marriage camp.

१˒🪄⋆ scottie price was a heavily relatable character that went through an emotionally detached relationship with her previous husband. going in to a marriage camp with happy couples all around you would’ve been exceptionally tough and seeing her express her vulnerabilities to wilder throughout the journey really upped my respect for her. i loved how she was always open, honest, and unselfish with everyone around her even though they might’ve been hellish to her. her character development throughout this book was so wild and inspiring to read about and now i want to go to a marriage camp with my fake husband to become a confident person 🙂‍↕️🤚🏻

𖥨⭒˚ wilder wells … hmmm, honestly he gave me the ick sometimes. the first ick was when he was introduced into the book as a man that has a black lip ring, four dick piercings, and is also a consistent beanie wearer - i’m imagining him looking like the 2020 emo tiktok boy 😭 i loved how he always praised scottie no matter what time of day it was, what she was wearing, or what the setting was. give me a man as patient as him 🥹 however, the whole book i was imagining him as a sad emo boy 🫢🫣

🏕️ scottie & wilder. ᝰ.ᐟ this was my favorite and least favorite part of the book. let me explain! for about 50% of the book, they were arguing like children. they had one specific therapy session where they were literally just screaming at each other, terrorizing the therapist, and just being incredibly immature. it was just so hard to read about, because the second-hand embarassment was real. after the 75% mark though, they tamed things down and learned to work through their problems and speak about their emotions together like adults. and honestly.. they became a little cute at the end, especially when wilder was bringing her on dates to check off everything on her checklist 🤭🤸🏻‍♀️

𖠵 𓂃 overall, i truly had a good time with this book - i binged 40% of this book in 3 hours, which, as a slow reader, is a lot. if you want a cute, summer-y, and fast read, you should definitely pick this up. i also want to give a disclaimer and say that there a plethora of sexual jokes and innuendos so be prepared for that when you go into the book.

⤷ mini spoiler-free review!! ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪

i’m not gonna go into too much detail, but i genuinely had a fun time with this book! this is my first meghan quinn book and i flew through it in one sitting despite it being over 400 pages—it was that entertaining (plus it’s the weekend and weekends are for binge-reading 🤭) some parts were undeniably cringey and ridiculous, but i’m not gonna lie, i caught myself laughing a few times 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️ and let me tell you, things got realllll spicy in the second half 😮‍💨🪭

“You know, I didn’t realize how monotonous my life was until Mika told me his friend needed a fake husband. Ever since you stepped into my life, you’ve opened my eyes, you’ve helped me face my fears and my insecurities, and you’ve made me really fucking happy, Scottie.”

“You think I’m the one who helped you? No, Wilder. You’re the one who helped me. You’re the one who opened my eyes, who made me work hard to see the person I really am and not the person I thought I was. You were patient, you communicated, you taught me lessons I didn’t even know I needed, and I know I’m a confident woman now because of you.”

i know i’ve mentioned this before—i don’t usually gravitate towards romance books with the “fake dating/marriage” trope, but i kinda ate this one up! what really stood out to me was how both main characters had real depth and how they brought out the best in each other.

overall, i ended up enjoying this more than i expected and i can totally see why so many people love it 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

• Why have I been sleeping on Meghan Quinn’s books? I thought this was going to be another one of those forgettable, cheesy, summer romances, but it ended up being so much more than that. I get it now when you all say how funny Meghan Quinn. She had me literally laughing out loud so many times.

• Let me introduce you to WILDER. 🥵 yet another book boyfriend added to the list. Yes, he is just as hot as his name. He wears a beanie, is described as a hipster version of prince Eric/emo, has tattoos, and the part that really got me.. a lip ring 🫦 Now usually I don’t fall for golden retriever MMCs, I like mine to be more of a Doberman, or German shepherd, but Wilder was just book boyfriend perfection 🤌🏼 and Teddy Hamilton doing the narration was the icing on top of the MMC cake. And finally a FMC who didn’t annoy me! It’s been a while since I found one I could tolerate. I loved Scottie’s character development. Not only did she fall in love with Wilder, but she fell in love with herself and that’s the most important relationship of them all.

• I rate mostly on vibes & the vibes this book gave were everything I’ve been looking for in a summer romance. The camp setting. The characters. The banter. The SPICE. Everything came together seamlessly to create the perfect summer read for me.

This is IT. This is my favourite Meghan Quinn book. I loved the characters, especially the MMC. He was such a golden retriever fake husband turned fiancé 🥹 Probably the sweetest and most understanding MMC Meghan has ever written. oh and he has a lip ring🫦

The story follows Scottie who lies about being married at work and gets roped into attending a marriage camp with… you guessed it, her best friend’s brother. cause who doesn’t love that trope? The marriage camp was so unserious, Scottie and Wilder were real troopers 🤭

Scottie had just gotten divorced from a bland man who did not care for her and Wilder is determined to make her feel worthy, wanted, appreciated and SEEN. And gosh does he ever succeed 😭 and the way he’s so open, honest and communicates with Scottie? Just WOW. A million stars for this man.

In typical Meghan Quinn fashion, this book had me cackling throughout the whole thing. The characters get into ridiculous scenarios but there was also so much depth to the characters, so naturally I was rooting so hard for them to make it work 😭 this one was more of a slow burn compared to her usual books but the payoff was *chefs kiss*

Tropes:
☀️best friends brother
☀️fake marriage
☀️ who hurt you?
☀️billionaire MMC
☀️one bed

Thank you Meghan Quinn and Hambright PR for the arc!

This novel was amazing! This is the first book that I have read by this author, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I did not expect this book to make me laugh so much and even made me cry! It is a beautiful mix of humor, romance, emotions and spice. The spice really shocked me! The cover is so beautiful and innocent looking. I wasn’t expecting the cursing either. I read Abby Jimenez and Emily Henry books and I will say that this book is completely different than both of those incredible authors.

This is an enemies to lovers, one bed and forced proximity story. It also has a fake marriage trope. It starts off with a woman named Scottie and a guy named Wilder. These two main characters go to a camp as a fake married couple, only to end up having real feelings for one another. This book is one of my favorite romantic comedy’s! The quirkiness of these characters, the banter between the two, the chemistry and the hilarious things they had to do together at this camp, just made this book everything and more! Oh and there are sex scenes in this book that were both cringey and steamy! I highly recommend this book! I read the digital book and listened to the audiobook at the same time. Overall, I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars!

If you are a fan of Abby Jimenez and want something spicy, you would love reading this! Content warnings include cursing, sexual content, infertility, emotional abuse and death of a parent.

This romantic comedy is out now and can be found on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and all other bookstores!

★★★½— Till Summer Do Us Part by Meghan Quinn

A summer rom-com dipped in chaos, with a side of secondhand embarrassment and a sprinkle of swoon.

This one had all the ingredients for a fun escape — fake marriage, a millionaire MMC with serious improv energy, one bed, a woodsy marriage camp, and of course, the signature Meghan Quinn banter — but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me like I’d hoped.

The setup? Absolutely hilarious.
Scottie, the only woman in a workplace full of wholesome married Brads and Chads, lies about having a husband just to fit in. Her lie snowballs into therapy sessions with her boss’s actual husband, a professional counselor, and suddenly she’s roping in her best friend's eccentric, pierced, improv-obsessed millionaire brother Wilder to be her stand-in hubby. And just like that, bam — they’re off to an eight-day marriage camp in the woods with her entire team. Yeah. Chaos.

I’ll give Meghan this — she knows how to write absurdity.
The jokes were flying, Wilder was 10/10 ridiculous, and the situations? Fully unhinged. But here’s the thing... after a while, the jokes felt like they were trying too hard, and I started getting whiplash between secondhand embarrassment and actual laughter. That balance is tricky, and sometimes it tipped too far into cringe.

Scottie’s arc was solid but not seamless.
She started off feeling like a fresh, hopeful protagonist. A bit awkward, yes, but relatable. Somewhere in the middle, though, she shifted — and not in a good way. Her emotional growth felt a bit forced, especially during the third act breakup. It didn’t fully track with who she was at the start, and that left me a little disconnected from her HEA.

Wilder? Wild indeed.
He was not the typical polished billionaire MMC. He was chaotic, tattooed, pierced, and very much living his “yes, and” improv life. It made him feel unique, sure, but also made it hard to believe in their chemistry at first. Like, I wanted to root for him, but sometimes it felt like he was more of a gimmick than a grounded love interest. Eventually, though, he pulled through with some heartfelt moments.

Now the vibes? On point for summer.
Marriage camp, campfire confessions, awkward group therapy sessions, forced proximity, one bed — all the tropes were troping. It felt like a rom-com Netflix would scoop up in a heartbeat. But there were just too many moments where I had to pause and internally scream because the cringe level was high and the romance payoff didn’t fully soften the blow.

That said, if you love:
🌲 Fake Marriage
💍 Forced Proximity
🌲 One Bed
💍 Brother’s Best Friend / Best Friend’s Brother
🌲 Opposites Attract
💍 Workplace Pressure
🌲 Marriage Camp / Couples Retreat
💍 Cringe Comedy / Embarrassment Humor

...you’ll probably still have a blast.

Final thoughts?
This wasn’t a favorite Meghan Quinn for me — the heart was there, but it got lost in the noise. I laughed, I cringed, I sighed. It’s fun, but in a loud-room kind of way. If you're in the mood for a spicy, silly summer rom-com and don’t mind a little chaos in your couples therapy, toss it in your beach bag.

Spice level: 3/5
Laughs: 4/5
Connection? 2.5/5

A good time, not a great one — but I can see why others loved it.

This was the PERFECT SUMMER BOOK! 🌞📚 I’m so happy I picked this one up: it was the fluffy, smutty summer audiobook I needed ✨

Wilder & Scottie are one of the most hilarious couples I’ve read in a long time 😂💕 Wilder has that “living life to the fullest” energy since he’s retired young and loves jumping at random opportunities. So when he gets the chance to be a fake husband to Scottie for a marriage camp, he says “yes.” Meanwhile, Scottie is the complete opposite lmao 🤭 she’s shy, divorced, struggles with communication, and always thinks twice before doing anything.

I loved how their personalities meshed and how they started to grow little by little as the book developed. The banter, the pretend, and their emotional connection were what completely drew me in! 🥹💓

The fake dating trope here took it to a whole new level because Scottie had to convince everyone they were MARRIED, and the way they both did it had me smiling and giggling the entire time hehehe.

This was a 5-star read for me simply because I enjoyed every second of it. I was laughing, kicking my feet, and fanning myself (yes, the smut is delicious 🔥) As a reader, that’s what makes it a 5-star read for me. Was it perfect? Nahhh, but it was so fun! ☀️

If you love Teddy Hamilton as a narrator 🎧 and love fake marriage tropes, please pick this book up! Hope I convinced you without giving too much awayyy

tropes
☀️ fake marriage
☀️ strangers to friends to lovers

♡ ⋆。˚ thoughts
i'm so sad i didn’t love this. the beginning of this book was actually really good — i was into it and thought it had potential. but once the 60% mark hit, i fear it became nothing but smut from there 😩

♡ ⋆。˚ characters

♡ ⋆。˚ scottie
i actually really liked scottie. she was fun, open, and honest in a way that made me love her. i loved how she slowly let her guard down with wilder — those vulnerable moments were so sweet. yes, she had a few cringey lines here and there, but nothing that made me dislike her. overall, i really enjoyed getting to know her and thought she carried the book well.

♡ ⋆。˚ wilder
i’m sorry but this man gave me the biggest ick 😭 he’s got a lip piercing and like... four dick piercings?? no thank you. that is not hot to me. BUT i will say, one thing i did like about him is how he constantly uplifted scottie — he was genuinely supportive of her and never tried to dim her light.

♡ ⋆。˚ their relationship
the start of their relationship annoyed me so bad 😭 they were acting so immature and childish, constantly bickering over dumb stuff. it almost made me dnf the book, ngl. but eventually they worked through it and things smoothed out. now… after the 60% mark?? that’s where it lost me. it felt like there was smut in every single chapter and it got repetitive fast. and omg don’t even get me started on the dirty talk... 🤢 it was just too much.

♡ ⋆。˚ final thoughts
unfortunately, this wasn’t the cute and fluffy read i was hoping for, but it was still okay. it had some sweet moments — especially early on — but overall it just wasn’t for me.

thank you to the publisher for the arc. all opinions are my own.

this started off very promising but then quickly went downhill. i think, unfortunately, this author just isn’t for me.

while parts of this really were funny, a lot of the humor fell flat for me and had me looking at my kindle like 😐🧍🏻‍♀️

this was MUCH too long - i lost interest. the plot was very repetitive & just not very captivating.

the main characters were okay overall, though i did have the ick from the MMC. i did not feel a true romantic connection between the MMC & FMC - it was very much lust-central. he seemed to sexualize her a bit too much for my liking & while this may work for some people, i do prefer more of a deeper connection in romances/couples.

despite these criticisms, i didn’t have the worst time in the world & was relatively entertained for a good chunk.

again, this one was just not my cup of tea but i can see how others may enjoy it!

Oh this was goooddd good! I knew from the very beginning of this book I was going to like it because something about Meghan Quinn's story telling is just hilarious and boy was this book exactly that.

When I tell you that words can't describe my love for these characters, I say it with my entire chest. Scottie just felt so real and relatable and every character in this book, not just her, had extremely bold personalities. She was funny and witty and added amazing things that made this book as good as it was. Her character arc and growth throughout the story? Phenomenal. And Wilder? YOUR HONOR I LOVE HIM WITH MY ENTIRE BEING!!! This man was THE standard through and through. I have not laughed this hard over a book I think ever, and that was because of Wilder's crazy and bubbly personality. These characters had a good amount of depth to them for a book that on the surface is funny and fluffy. Dealing with family issues and divorce was the perfect touch to make this book that much better and feel that much more real.

The whole idea of being fake married going to a marriage camp was something I didn't know I needed to read until I did. This book has the perfect amount of plot to character driven storyline. I also have to point out that this was WAYYYY more sexual than I thought it would be, but I didn't mind it because it wasn't in a cringey "all they do is fuck" kind of way. It was a "outrageously sexual jokes and manners that you can't take seriously but you're along for the ride" kind of way. It was impossible to put this book down once you start it, and I think that makes for a really good book.

Overall, there's a reason why I'm such a big fan of Meghan Quinn's books and this right here is the exact reason. She mixes the perfect amount of jokes and humor while also staying true to why the characters are the way they are. You best believe I will continue to read more of her books! After writing this I'm probably going to put in a hold at my library for one of her other series cause I was left looking forward to so much more. 💙

Now I’m usually one to say a book doesn’t work for me but it can work for someone else.

I’m not saying that with this one. Don’t waste your time. This book is awful. So god awful.

There’s no chemistry between the MCs at all.
The MMC seems so immature and childish and FMC acts like his mother and she’s so rude and the “therapist” sounds like the stoned turtle from Finding Nemo.

Highly do not recommend unless you would like your brain cells to dissipate.

This book took me by surprise in the best way possible...it was utterly hilarious! And I loved the creative and summery spin on the fake dating trope. The FMC pretending like she was married to her best friend's brother, then getting roped into attending a rekindling-your-marriage summer camp was so much fun.

I don't know exactly how to classify the humor in this book—it was random and chaotic—but whatever it was, I loved it. There were a few times where I had to pause while reading to laugh out loud. Scottie and Wilder's improv during their "marriage" therapy sessions could not have been better. And even though Till Summer Do Us Part was one of the funniest books I've read recently, I loved how each character had an emotional backstory. I liked how Scottie had to come to terms with her divorce and how Wilder was processing his family baggage.

Also, the summer vibes were perfect. This is the ideal "June," get-you-into-the-summer-mindset book. I adored everything about the camp premise. If you're looking for a fun read to kick off the summer, begging you to read this!

Thank you so much to Bloom Books for an ARC of Till Summer Do Us Part. As always, my reviews are one hundred percent voluntary and all opinions are my own :)

"I rub my hands together and then follow my fake wife up the street to our first marriage counseling session. Let the games begin." 😈

Reading because I heard Meghan’s writing was similar to Abby Jimenez (who I adore!)…and I have to say: I’m impressed 🙌🏽

So, I accidentally ended up reading two ‘fake relationship’ stories in a row. Thankfully, they couldn’t have been more different, so I will try to keep myself from comparing the two and rate each in their own right.

The set-up for this book was instantly engaging and hilarious! I couldn’t help put fall in love with Scottie and her need to please getting her into a messy situation… 🤣

"I got what I wanted. I became buddy-buddy with my boss in an instant. But the cost will be hefty…finding a husband by tomorrow." 🤭

After a recent divorce, Scottie finds herself as the only female in her new job. Surrounded by married Brads and Chads, she is desperate to impress, and become buddies with her new boss. In her effort to impress, she lets slip that she too is married, resulting in a snowballing lie that lands herself in a one-on-one session with the best marriage counsellor in the Northeast, who also happens to be her boss's husband. Next thing she knows it, Wilder has signed them up for an eight-day summer marriage camp with all of Scottie's co-workers FOR FUN. A cabin to share with her way-too-handsome fake husband…Can they win over everyone, have fun and maybe even heal from past wounds? YOU ARE IN FOR A WILD TIME 🤭🫣🥰

Firstly: this storyline is EPIC!! It is packed full of fun, emotion and craziness galore 🙌🏽 It is such a unique story and the humour is off the charts!

Not only do we have a great story but we are blessed with some fantastic characters. My favourite being Wilder. I LOVE HIM 😍 and firmly believe everyone could do with a Wilder in their lives 🙌🏽 This man is a true gentleman. He has a thirst for life. A need to explore and experience the journey of life. He wants to capture precious moments on this earth, and honestly he is just a very refreshing, wholehearted character 💖 I also loved that throughout the story Wilder worked so hard with Scottie to help her heal from ‘Matt the Douche’ ❤️‍🩹

"Wilder has shown me nothing but patience, understanding, and kindness. He’s been a shoulder to lean on, a sturdy rock when times are tough, and he’s helped me have more confidence in myself. He’s helped me see my worth." 🥹💖✨

And, by the end Scottie was so much stronger and more confident. It was quite the character transformation: from tampered down joy and energy into smiling and exuding joy and bliss. I loved her character from the beginning but throughout the book she showed a great deal of strength and determination.

"You’re unlike any woman I’ve ever met before—complex yet simple. Insecure but also very confident. And I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t attracted to you. And I’m not saying this to hit on you. I’m not saying this to try to get you to tear your shirt off. I’m saying this because you deserve to hear it. You deserve the truth. You are beautiful, Scottie.” 🥲💖💫

I have to admit, at times I found the narrative to be a little too graphic for my liking. For such an innocent looking cover it has a lot of spice 🥵 However it was limited to a few chapters, and in the end the characters exuded a real sense of maturity; having good communication and a great time just doing the simple things in life together. I particularly loved that Wilder got her to create a bucket-list of fun, yet simple things that her Ex never let her do - like going to the cinema!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It really is a book of many things, covering a multitude of topics. Furthermore, it is both hilarious and yet also carries a real maturity and responsibility. One thing is for sure: it is a WILD RIDE 🤩

“There isn’t one person on this earth who hasn’t opened a metaphorical suitcase and dumped in it. No life is perfect, no journey unmarred. Everyone’s carrying around something." 🤌🏽💖✨

◦ Till Summer Do Us Part ◦ by Meghan Quinn ◦

◦: plot :◦
To fit in at her new job, Scottie fakes a marriage and ends up in counselling with her boss's husband. She recruits an improv-obsessed millionaire to play her husband who is also her best friends brother. They get roped into a couples’ retreat and attempt to prove to her co-workers that she is married.

How is it even possible to write a book that caters to the single girlies and the married ones at the same time? Meghan plot has the winning formula to captivate any reader. I loved the whole set up.

I feel like this book had the perfect balance between plot and spice. You only get spice towards the second half of the book. But the first half of the book was a good build up for what’s to come. I loved how Scottie was a hard egg to crack which made the payoff even sweeter.

The spicy scenes were wild! We were given chemistry, banter and laughs with memorable scenes.

Here’s my only complaint:
I wish her co-workers and their partners had more substance behind them. They felt flat as characters. It was odd that they spent 8 days with her co-workers but never learnt their partners names. “Chad’s wife” surely she has a name right? Her name wasn’t revealed until the epilogue which felt like an after-thought.

Mark the 3rd of June in your calendar grab a bag of Nerd Clusters and happy days!

Thank you @hambright_pr and @meghanquinnbooks for the pleasure of reading this arc.

4.25⭐️ By far the FUNNIEST book I’ve ever read. Chapter Four?!? I’m sorry, I screamed at least 50 times. Who gave Megan Quinn the right to be this funny?! 😭💀 I wanted it to be a perfect 5 star, but as it went on, there were some parts too cheesy for me to handle. Nevertheless, this book was a fun ass time. HIGHLY recommend adding to your summer TBR
