Dr. or family
Karen must choose between being a doctor or being home with her family.
Cassidy is struggling ever since Vicki was trapped inside that cave. He felt as if Karen was at home watching over Vicki instead of being at the hospital Vicki never would've been trapped inside the cave.
Cassidy basically told Karen it's either the hospital or her family. Read the book to find out what's happening.
