Rate this book
Sloane Anderson has never really had a family or a place she can call home, having spent much of her childhood in the system. All she longs for now is security and stability, a chance to finish school and make something of herself.

Owen Sinclair has harbored a not-so-secret crush on Sloane from pretty much the moment he met her. But as much as he tries to convince her that he’s worth a shot, he can’t seem to get her to give him a chance.

When an eviction notice suddenly appears on Sloane’s front door, Owen comes to her rescue, offering her not only a place to stay, but an unexpected source of security. As they spend more and more time together, Sloane gradually starts to let her guard down, realizing that there’s more to Owen than his wealth and privilege suggests. As the two of them grow closer, Sloane finally starts to believe that her life is getting back on track. Until an expected visitor from her past reappears and threatens her already fragile heart.

Fragile Hearts (Hibiscus Hearts, #3) by Claire Raye

4/5 stars

Fragile Hearts is the sweet and kind love story of Sloane and Owen. Sloane and Daisy are about to get evicted from their home. Daisy has the option to move in with family. But Sloane has literally no one. Until Owen selflessly offers for her to move in with him. She is hesitant at first but she agrees and quickly moves in with him.

Owen has admired and loved Sloane from a distance for a while now. And all he wants is to take care of her and support in any aspect of her life.

Sloane guards her heart fiercely because she was hurt a lot as a kid. Her mother was an addict and she ended up in the foster care system and went from home to home. All she wants is stability and she has found that with Daisy and Alana.

This is a story of a man that sees who the woman he loves truly is. He sees her fragility and her ache for tenderness. And he doesn't even hesitate for one second to give that to her. He puts his own needs aside and becomes the friend she desperately needs. And when he feels she is ready for more, he takes her needs into consideration and moves at her pace.

This is such a sweet and gentle story. It truly represents the core of being in a stable relationship. That no matter what life throws at you, together you can overcome it. As a team, as a unit.

"But what if all I want is you?"
"I'm already yours."

4 beautiful stars for Sloane and Owen. ♥

#Review: *Fragile Hearts* - Claire Raye - ARC [18+]
4.9/5✨
3/5🌶️

It's becoming a tradition for me to read something by Claire Raye each summer. Of course, I'm super grateful to them for accepting me to receive this e-ARC. Thank youu!!🤗

This is the 3rd book from "Hibiscus Hearts" series but it can be read as a standalone too.

Sloane had an extremely hard childhood, being thrown into foster care after her own parents weren't capable to take care of her. Without a father in her life, Sloane only got her mom, who had some pretty bad addictions, which affected Sloane directly. Now she was living in a place with two friends but not for long, because they were being evicted. That's how Sloane ended up staying with the boy she really didn't want to, knowing that he could have some feelings for her.

Owen was a pretty wealthy guy, coming from a good family, which had multiple businesses in town. But all those money haven't changed him at all, being the most down to earth, sweet and compassionate guy ever. The close proximity to Sloane could be his perfect opportunity to win her heart, but he must be very careful, because any wrong, rushed move could result in loosing her forever. Especially when Sloan's past was starting lurking around, threatening to destroy everything she was trying so hard to build. Would Sloan be able to let herself fall in love and live a normal life for once?

I just have to say that Owen was such a cutie pie!! The most adorable golden retriever ever!! He was so, so patient with Sloane, being thoughtful with her and understanding that she needed a different kind of care. He was ready to do everything in the world for her. That's how hard he fell for Sloane. On the other side, Sloane needed to make amends with herself before she could offer her heart to someone else. But even she couldn't resist the kindness and sweetness of Owen. I loved that the other characters from the previous parts of this serie were present and that they played a pretty big rile in their story.

A super swoony story, which made me emotional, hopeful and which melted my heart. I adored these characters, feeling like I needed to give them an huge embrace, especially to the FMC. If you love a mix of holiday vibe romance with some angst, then you should definitely pick up this book!

(I received an ARC for this book)

Trigger Warnings include:
discussions about sexual assault involving a child (nothing on page, but does involve an MC), parent addicted to drugs, child neglect/abandonment, verbal abuse by a parent, foster care, food insecurity, PTSD, eviction, mention of murder

This is my favorite of the series! Owen and Sloane, their friendship. His love for her, his acceptance of her, his support of her. Her courage, her strength, her resilience. Owen is all too happy to offer his spare room to Sloane, and while hesitant to accept the hand out, she’s more hesitant to let him in. But that doesn’t stop him from proving time and time again that he was there for her. It broke my heart that the world kept trying to knock Sloane down. But she always got back up. And Mr. Owen Sinclair was right there to support her! It was so fun how supportive the friend group was of Owen…crush. The love this found family has for each other is a reason I love this series so much!

My Favorite Quotes:
• “I’ll wait for you. When you’re ready, I’ll be here.”
• “Please don’t ever doubt how perfect you are. I’ll tell you every day until you believe me.”
• “Don’t ever be afraid, not of me, or your past, or anything. It doesn’t define you, but it made you who you are. And that’s someone who is resilient and kind and accepting and beautiful.”
• “I’ll spend the rest of my life proving to you that you’re worth it.”
• “I’m obsessed with you. I want to give you the world.”
• “Whatever you want, I’m yours.”
• “I want to worship your body like it’s a fucking temple.”
• “I’m f!cking addicted to the taste of you.”
• “I love you. Period.”
• “I’ll always be here waiting for you.”
• “I’ve got your back, your front, your sides, every f!cking part of you, okay? Don’t ever forget that.”
• “You are here, you stayed. That’s everything.”

Another incredible story written about a MAN! Yes, a dang man. He doesn’t let some family “drama” scare him away. He stands by her through her insecurities and tries to help ease the burden of them. I also was not ready for his dirty mouth, wow! Sloane has some many issues after the way she was treated and raised, which makes it hard for her to let a lot of people in. It was nice to see her finally stand up for herself and take ahold of her own life and live it the way she wants to.
I’m stoked for the next book in series!

When Sloane Anderson comes home to an eviction notice on her door, 30 days to get out, no money, and nowhere to go, she starts to panic. Owen Sinclair has had a not-so-secret crush on Sloane since the day they met and happens to have a place Sloane can stay for as long as she needs. Finally feeling safe and secure, Sloane is able to let her walls down around Owen and finds herself falling for him…

If you’re looking for a book that will have you feeling all the summery vibes, this is the one. This whole series really, but oh my goodness is this just THE perfect book to sit by the pool with while soaking up the sun.

I was obsessed with this book from page one. It’s perfection. I loved all the characters, the progression of Sloane and Owen’s relationship was amazing, and to top it off, the plot really made the book unputdownable. Just all around perfection.

I have three words. Obsessed. With. Owen. What an incredible, sweet, golden retriever of a man. The things he did for Sloane to always ensure she’s comfortable had me giggling and kicking my feet with a goofy grin on my face. Where can one acquire an Owen Sinclair…? Asking for a friend of course… 👀

Sloane is such an amazing character, and so easy to fall in love with. Learning more about her past in this book, she feels so realistic with her hesitancy and self-doubts. I couldn’t stop smiling and feeling proud throughout the entire book as she came out of her shell and grew. I’ve probably said this about every main character so far, but I think she might just be my favorite.

Sloane and Owen’s relationship is quite possibly one of my all time favorites. I love the unwavering support Owen offers, and the strength and dedication from Sloane. They are such a perfect match that will have you rooting for them from page one. And of course their chemistry was immaculate. 😉

I have so much to say about the Sinclair family, but I don’t know how to put it into words while staying spoiler free. 😩 Just know that they had my heart melting throughout this book.
brb while I go yell at my friends to read this book so I can tell them all my feelings…

I always love the found family element in this series, Claire Raye does such an amazing job with it. Every single book feels like coming home in the best way possible, which always has me excited to dive back into the series with a new release.

I can’t wait for Miles and Daisy’s story. The last chapter already has me extremely excited.

Thank you so much to Claire Raye for the opportunity to ARC read this book. All thoughts are my own. 💗

I loved being back in this little surfer world! Every time I read a book in this series, it feels like coming home. They are comfort reads, even the ones that tear my heart out. Fragile Hearts, despite the name, did not hurt my fragile heart. I think I only teared up once. It's a beautiful story about a young woman named Sloane, who hasn't had a fair shake in life, has had nothing but a lifetime of disappointments, and has learned to survive and only rely on herself. She has some high walls up for her own preservation. After she and her roommates are evicted, she has nowhere to live. One of the guys in their combined friend group is DOWN BAD for Sloane and offers to let Sloane live at his house as roommates. At first she is hesitant. Owen has asked her out many times, but Sloane always said no because everyone who comes into her life leaves her and she doesn't want to risk it. Owen is a unicorn boyfriend. He is literally the best thing you could imagine, and he just wants to help Sloane heal and love her. He knows her background and how she grew up and he is always cautious in the way he speaks to her and this man is patient. Sloane is who his heart wants and he is willing to wait for her. Sloane eventually comes around and sees that it's not so bad to put your heart out there.
This was a slow burn with lots of sexual tension and then when they have their moment, things are spicy. Owen is just the sweetest thing and his family is so welcoming to Sloane. I loved that we got more than just a glimpse of the previous characters and there is a good build up for the next book. I really enjoyed this Fragile Hearts and I cannot wait for the next Hibiscus Hearts book to be released.

This was a wonderful addition to a fantastic series! I love these authors so much. This story was everything my heart could want and more, and had me feeling all the feels.

Sloane and Owen are perfect for each other. I could not get enough of these two and their journey to finally be together. Yes, there were some ups and downs- my heart hurt so badly for Sloane. She is just the best and should be protected at all costs. Believe me, Owen felt the same way-and I swooned 100 times over for the way this man cared and supported her exactly as she needed.

I loved Sloane and her strength. She had been through so much, never feeling like she deserved the love and care her friends gave her, but also wanted to find her place so badly. She worked hard everyday to find happiness and a better life than she had as a child, counting on herself to provide that. She was vulnerable, self conscious, empowering and incredible. Her character had such beautiful growth and cheering her on was effortless.

Owen is everything-he fell hard and fast for Sloane the moment they met, working hard everyday to get her to see herself the way he did. He wasn’t going anyway and I loved it for her so much. Their feelings were easy, but acting on them is what scared Sloane the most. I needed them together so badly but I loved watching everything unfold-especially when things got tough.

My goodness, when these two finally got together-it is steamy, the tension they built up was great. I was not prepared for Owen and his mouth, and loved every moment of it! Like I said, the are beyond perfect and made to be together.

I love this group so much-the found family vibes, the support and fun they all provide just makes this series better. Now I’m itching for the next book and the teases we got from Daisy and Miles’ complicated past! I can’t wait!

Sloane + Owen are everything—and then some!

I’ve been pining after their story since book one, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Each book in this series can be read on its own, but experiencing them all together is like stitching together a beautiful tapestry of love, growth, and found family.

Owen is the definition of a green-flag book boyfriend—sweet, steady, supportive, and yes, peak golden retriever energy. He’s always there for Sloane, offering quiet strength and unwavering loyalty. He doesn’t try to fix her—he simply shows up for her, over and over again.

And Sloane? She’s survived a rough childhood and carved out a life with her makeshift family of surfing misfits. She’s searching for home, not realizing it might be standing right in front of her—Owen with arms wide-open, ready to catch her.
Watching her journey, cheering for her as she steps into her power, is an emotional joyride. When she finally lets herself fall into Owen’s safe haven, I was literally jumping up and down and shouting with joy. She deserves someone to defend her—and Owen is everything she needs and more.

Their chemistry is off-the-charts steamy, but it’s the friendship—the deep, soul-level bond—that makes their love story unforgettable.

Bonus: we get sweet glimpses of past couples, who somehow keep getting even better?!

Bonus, Bonus: plus we get the tiniest glimpse of which pair is up next. I already can’t wait to dive back into this world.

If you love romance with found family, green-flag boyfriends, independent heroines, and steamy pool activities—this is the book for you.

(Generous ARC given by Claire Raye. This review consists of my personal thoughts with undue influence.)

If you’re looking for the perfect MMC who’s completely obsessed and only has eyes for the FMC, Owen will steal your heart! He’s been so down bad for Sloane throughout the series, and this book finally gives us the story we’ve been waiting for.

Sloane grew up in the foster system due to her mother’s struggles with addiction. Because of her past, trusting others doesn’t come easy. She keeps her circle small—two ride-or-die besties—and stays laser-focused on saving money and finishing school. But her world is rocked when she comes home to find a 30-day eviction notice taped to her door. With no family to lean on and always living paycheck to paycheck, her anxiety about the future hits a peak.

Enter Owen. He’s been patiently waiting, hoping Sloane will finally see him as more than just a guy trying to win her over—because his feelings for her run deep. When he overhears her housing crisis, he offers up his guest room. She reluctantly accepts, telling herself it’s just temporary. Rent is only $200 a month (a total steal—especially in Hawaii!), but Owen isn’t in it for the money. He comes from a well-off family, though he’s incredibly humble and never flaunts his wealth.

What makes Owen so swoony is how deeply he shows up for Sloane. Through every anxious spiral and emotional storm, he’s steady, supportive, and completely hers—even if she doesn’t fully realize it at first.

Is this my favorite book in the series? No—but it gives such depth to these characters and adds so much to the emotion of the series. It’s a must-read for fans who’ve been rooting for Owen and Sloane from the beginning.

Sloane Anderson has had a rough life, and is really just looking to be a stable human being for herself. She mostly works and goes to school, and for fun she likes to hang out with her friends and roommates, until one day she comes home to an eviction notice. Her roommate Daisy has a place to go, but Sloane is worried about where to turn. She tells her surfing friend Owen, and he immediately tells her to move in after his cousin moved out and now lives in the Mainland.

Owen Sinclair has had the biggest crush on Sloane Anderson for a while. He knows some of her past, but not all of it, and he knows she doesn’t give her trust out easily. He also knows that if he wants anything to happen with Sloane, it has to be on her timeline. Thankfully Sloane says yes to Owen’s offer to move in, and the two become closer friends within weeks. Things start to heat up between the two, even with Sloane moving slowly, but Owen is patient and will wait forever for his girl.

This series is truly one of my favorites. I have been waiting not so patiently for Sloane and Owen to have their moment. The found family in this book is top tier, and all the friends have made fun of how big of a crush Owen had on Sloane throughout the first two books. Sloane is just so sweet and you are cheering for her throughout the book, and Owen is one of those characters who will burn down the world to get to his girl and their dog. Their story lived up to all of my expectations. I cannot wait for Miles and Daisy’s turn next.

Thank you to Claire Raye for the ARC opportunity, I am always so excited to get back into this series!

I have been waiting for these two since the first book and the wait was worth it.

Oh my sweet sweet Owen. That man is a walking talking green flag. He is utter perfection. I loved everything about him and how he cared for Sloane. He listened to her fears and worries due to her childhood and did the everything in his power to prove to her she could move on from her past and she was finally safe and most of all loved.

My heart absolutely broke for Sloane. She had it rough growing up and it definitely has some scars from it. Despite her upbringing, this girl is so strong and such an incredible person.

These two progressed so seamlessly with their relationship. They took it at a slower pace that was perfect for Sloane and her healing journey. Owen was so persistent and never gave up his hope that one day Sloane would be his girl.

Daisy and Miles are next and I just know with the tension these two have that their story is going to be good.

Sloane and Owen seriously own my heart right now, nothing could be more perfect in this very second than them. Their book was everything I needed it to be and more! From the start of this series, we have been watching Owen PINE for Sloane and her turn that man down at every step he made towards her until everything changed in this book.

Sloane is made to move out of where she is living and when Owen hears of her current living crisis, you best believe that man jumped right in and offered her a room at his place just so she would be near him even if nothing would happen but he stayed optimistic.

The tension that flowed straight out of this book was on fire, how it took them so long to end up together I will never know, obviously Sloane has issues from her childhood which gave reasoning but still Owen is a fine man.

I loved everything about their book from start to finish and I am so glad that I got to read it, watching them grow as people and Sloane opening her heart up to Owen made my day. I love these characters and the universe that Claire and Raye created and I never want to leave!

𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 is the 3rd book in the Hibiscus Hearts series by author duo Claire Raye, featuring a spicy and emotional roommates to lovers romance for Sloane and Owen! I’m not sure I was ready for the way my heart ached for Sloane over her terrible childhood and the way it still rippled through her in the present, but I loved how beautifully all the emotions and drama were handled throughout! But make way for Owen, the Unicorn hero, who has made pining an art form, yet he had the utmost patience and compassion— always willing to put her first no matter what, even if the slow burn left him… 𝘢𝘩𝘦𝘮 blue!😉😅 When they finally gave in, though, that passion exploded into a forest fire!😍🔥🫠 Sloane and Owen may be from the opposite sides of the tracks, but they were beyond perfect for each other! You also can’t beat the found family vibe with this amazing group of surfing friends, as well as Owen’s accepting family! It was a blast to return to Hawaii for this story, and I’m on pins and needles for Miles and Daisy! Something’s got to give with those two!!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I have said it so many times but I LOVE this series so much! These characters all have such amazing stories to tell.

I have been so beyond excited for Owen’s & Sloane’s book and my gosh it was so good!!!

Sloane is the girl who has had a rough life and doesn’t trust easily at all. Owen is the boy with the perfect family and feelings for Sloane he could never hide so every time Owen has asked her out the answer has always been No. She doesn’t easily trust but my gosh Owen doesn’t give up. When Sloane needs help Owen jumps at the chance to be the one there for her.

The connection these 2 have is absolutely amazing! I couldn’t love Owen more. He quite literally was one of my favorite MMC’s. He was so gone for Sloane there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her.
Sloane, gosh the strength she showed is astounding! She’s overcome so much and still holds her chin up! Not only is the tension in this book so darn good but the friend group in this book just makes you feel like you are apart of it.

This whole series has a hold on me! I love this friend group so much! I can’t wait for the next book!

MY HEART! This book was just perfection. The entire series has so quickly become one of my favourites and I’m just obsessed. I cried, I laughed and I swooned the entire time.

I think Sloane and Owen are my new favourite book couple! They were just the most adorable things ever! What a man Owen was, he has been so down bad for Sloane throughout this entire series and I was dying for him to finally get his shot. He is just the sweetest most caring person and I couldn’t get enough of him. I actually don’t even know where to start with Sloane other than I wanted to jump inside his book and protect her at all costs. She was so broken from her horrible childhood that she was so scared to trust anyone and believe that anyone wanted what’s best for her. When she finally allowed Owen to show her how special she was it was the cutest thing ever and my heart shattered into a million pieces! Ugh I just can’t get enough of them.

Their banter and tension was electric and their spicy scenes were so damn hot! Obsessed is honestly an understatement it’s just so good.

Thank you so much to Claire and Raye for allowing me to read this arc!

Sloane and Owen’s story was completely worth the wait. These two were everything I could have hoped for and more. I absolutely loved every single moment of their story.

Sloane grew up in the foster care system. She has so much strength, more than she even knows she has at the start of the story. She has found herself a family that truly cares about her and loves her for who she is, even if at times she doesn’t feel like she is deserving of it all. Owen, oh Owen. The man is everything. He is so sweet and caring and isn’t afraid to show Sloane how he really feels about her. He will always be in her corner no matter what happens. It is impossible to not fall for him.

The chemistry these two have is insane. I love the build up they have from just being friends to being something more. Owen was definitely a very pleasant surprise and I was loving every single moment of it. The spice was spicing when it comes to Sloane and Owen.

If you’re looking for a found family, friends to lovers, roommates, he falls first romance check this one out.

Claire Raye puts the S in slow burn!

It was only a matter of time for us to get Owen and Sloane’s story, and Fragile Hearts didn’t let me down.

I was afraid that their romance would be rushed, but this wasn’t at all happening. Owen, who has been attracted to Sloane from the moment he met her, doesn’t hesitate to offer her a place to stay when she learns that the place she and her good friend staying stay at are being evicted.

Sloane is all too well aware of his attraction for her, but as much as she tries to keep him at a distance from her heart, she slowly realizes that she’s attracted to him too.

Owen gives his heart to her. No strings attached. No ulterior motives. Despite the flaws and fears of loss she has, he gives her the one thing she needs. Trust.

I loved this story most of all. I already am setting myself for the next couple that’s to come.

Beautiful love story at its finest.

Sloane needs a new place to stay and Owen offers her one. He may have a crush on her but he does it with the right intention as a friend. Once she moves is, they start to know each other better, and maybe Owen is the person to take her fears away and be the person right beside her for everything in life.
Sloane didn’t have the easiest youth (and I’m being mild in my words here), so I can understand the fear and doubts she has when it comes to trust. She can be proud of the woman she’s become today. And with Owen, and the rest of their friends, by her side, she becomes even stronger and less insecure.
This was quite an emotional book, learning about her past, her mom that appears in her life again.
I was rooting for Owen from the start. He may come from money, but he is acting so normal, teaching surfing lessons to the kids, helping his friends. He’s definitely worth it.

All I can say after finishing this book is…FINALLY!! Gah, I’ve been waiting for Owen and Sloane’s book since reading book one in the Hibiscus Hearts series, and these ladies DELIVERED.

Owen and Sloane come from such different backgrounds, and it’s been no secret Owen has harbored a crush on Sloane. Watching them navigate through not only how they feel about each other, but also Sloane’s hesitancy, ugh I don’t think Owen could have been any more perfect for her. The sweetest man EVER!

As per usual when it comes to a book from the duo that is Claire Raye I read this in one sitting. This book was fantastic. The spice, SPICY, the friendships, phenomenal, the love in this entire friend group, utter perfection. I don’t think I’ve ever loved the setting of a story more.

👩‍🍳chef’s kiss to these ladies for writing yet another banger of a book. I think Sloane and Owen’s story is my fave so far!!

First things first; recently chaos has erupted in my life which has slowed my reading to an almost stop. I’ve lost all mojo, have barely read a page let alone finished a book properly in weeks. This book, these ladies @claire_raye_author have turned that around.

Fragile Hearts had all the feels and I let myself feel them, it was cathartic and healing and I loved every moment of it. This story was fun, relatable, hot 🔥 and raw. Sloane has gone through so much in her short life and I’m so happy she gave Owen a chance. He showed her exactly what it’s like to feel loved and be wanted. They grew together and I loved watching them thrive.

Thank you ladies, for not only writing and epic story thats part of an even more epic series, but for getting me out of my funk ❤️ Appreciate you and your writing more than you’ll ever know ❤️

What a beautiful story of overcoming your past and finding the love of your life.
Owen and Sloane are in the same friends group but are from opposite sides of the tracks.
Owen is rich and has loving parents and had a great childhood.
Sloane was raised and abandoned by a drug-addicted mother and has so much trauma from her and being shuffled from foster home and foster home.

When they find themselves living together when Sloane needs a place to stay, a connection that had always been there, becomes strong and hard to resist.
These two have a special place in my heart and Owen is the best book boyfriend, I have ever read.
Kind, caring, supportive, nurturing, selfless, and sexy he does so much for Sloane and shows her the kind of love she's always wished for.

Their spicy moments....let's just say Owen is a sexy dirty talker and is very selfless and patient. 🥵🥵🥵

Im in love with this series can't wait for book 4!!

This series is everything. Oh I love these characters so much. Claire Raye really knows what they are doing!! Sloane and Owen’s story was beautiful. I could really relate to some of the things Sloane has been through. Owen was such a great MMC who would do literally anything for his love. Also… Sloane and Owen WHEWWW. Those are some dirty mfers but I love it lol!!

I really love how each of these books are written and I can’t wait to read more of this series. Miles and Daisy’s story can’t come out soon enough!! And I am very eager to find out who the couple is for the fifth book🩵

Thank you Claire Raye for the ARC! I loved this book so much and highly recommend this series.

When Sloane gets evicted from her house, she has no where to go. So when Owen offers for her to stay with him, she is hesitant, but agrees. After her rough upbringing, she struggles with letting people in and worries that Owen will let her down. While Owen doesn't know much about her upbringing, he still wants her to feel safe and happy living with him. He slowly proves that he cares and that he will be there for her no matter what. But when events unfold, that is put to the test.
I absolutely loved this story! From the moment I read Broken Hearts, I could not wait to read about Owen and Sloane. I knew he would be the perfect match for her and could not wait to see how things played out for them. I also loved that he never pushed her and was always open and honest about his feelings for her.

This is the third book in the Hibiscus Hearts series and this time Owen finally gets his chance! He has been pining for Sloane for the longest time and when she needs a place to stay, he offers his extra room.

As they get to know each other better over time, I loved that Sloane slowly builds up her courage to cross the line with Owen. He is such a gentleman, and an amazing friend.

But Sloane’s past comes back to haunt her. And through it all, I loved how she had the support of her found family, and most of all the steadfast love of Owen.

This was another amazing addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next one featuring Daisy and Miles.

I have been loving this Hibiscus Hearts series and have been waiting for Owen and Sloane's story! This book is everything I hoped it would be.

Sloane's past was so sad and I really loved how Owen kept on pursuing her. He was there to listen to her when she finally opened up to him. Owen is the perfect MMC, just loved him.

Owen has been pining for Sloane for a long time now and when he can help her, he definitely jumps tp do it!

When Sloane's past comes knocking, what will happen to the two of them?

Really enjoy getting to see all of these characters again and cannot wait for Daisy and Miles story!!

Claire Raye does it again!! This was THE PERFECT book to get me out of my reading slump. I have been waiting for Owen and Sloane’s story since Book 1 and let me tell you - it did NOT disappoint.

Owen is the perfect amount of golden retriever lover boy. I just cannot stand how gentle and perfect he is for Sloane. He becomes her safe space and is just so dreamy. Plus, he has a dirty mouth… so it’s a win all around!

Sloane is just too adorable. Trying to convince herself she doesn’t love Owen was too funny and when she finally realizes she loves him… well she does not hold back!

This book healed so much of me and I absolutely adore it!

✨Fragile Hearts✨
Hibiscus Hearts #3

By Claire Raye

⭐ 4/5

Sloane and Owen

This story is sweet and full of heart, it follows Owen and Sloane. When Sloane and her friend Daisy are forced to move out of their home it leaves Sloane without any options where to stay. Whereas Daisy has her family. So Owen, someone who loved and adored Sloane without her knowing, offers her his help.
Sloane is hesitant. She got heartbroken as a kid when her mother’s actions put her into foster care. She searches for stability, love and care.
Owen sees the woman behind her exterior and he wants to give her all that she wants. He goes as far that he puts her needs before his own. So becomes her friend first, someone she can trust before he makes a move.
A wonderful story about loving, trusting and forever.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 3rd book in the Hibiscus Hearts series. Each book can be read as a standalone.
Sloane has just been evicted from her apartment. She has no family and no where to go. So, when Owen offers her a place to live she takes him up on it.
Owen has been in love with Sloane forever. Everyone knows and he will wait as long as he needs for Sloane to give him a chance. With them living together he hopes to prove he can be what she needs.
I loved Sloane and Owen's story. My heart just broke for Sloane and Mochi was the cutest. So glad she finally got her HEA. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

I absolutely loved this book Andy loving it didn’t surprise me in the least! I absolutely love Claire Raye’s books and writing style! From book 1 I knew that I would love Owen and Sloane. We just love a down bad golden retriever who falls first and harder than the FMC! This entire series has been so interesting to me and so unlike any other book I have ever read. I love this books setting. I loved how Owen loved Sloane and helped her feel safe even while dealing with some triggers from her childhood!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

There is something about this writing duo that transports you into their world and sucks you right into the story they are painting. This is book three so there is some couples that make appearance from books before but it isn’t necessarily super important to read the previous two. This book hits the ground running with this sweet couple and while there is a lot of healing and growth from these two, Owen was a constant for her the whole time. If you need a wholesome read that makes you want to believe in love and pretend you’re on the beach in Hawaii, this is the book to pick up!
