DNF @ 43%. I was really enjoying this up to the DNF point. I’m a sucker for a sweet/innocent damsel in distress h and an alpha H. I didn’t even mind that by this point we still had no clue why the h’s father was killed. She says she doesn’t have any idea why but then later mentions a man’s name and that he’s a bad man. So why the DNF? Savannah hasn’t been “putting out” fast enough for Sebastian so he decides a blowjob from a club whore is just what he needs and he’s going to get it in the middle of the clubhouse. Savannah shows up to surprise him just as the club whore gets on her knees. She’s pissed off but she doesn’t leave. No, she tells the woman to keep going, wraps her hand in the woman’s hair and GUIDES HER HEAD while she blows Bash. Once it’s finished she storms off and he follows her home. She lets him and he says things like this:
“Don’t want any other women; you know that shit as well as I do. I want your pussy. This jealous tantrum wouldn’t have happened if you’d let me inside you already.”
And this:
He hums and rasps, “I want to, so goddamn bad. You’re driving me fucking crazy inside. You can hate me all you want for getting my cock sucked, but I had to, so I wouldn’t force you into something you aren’t ready for. I’m being patient for you. Don’t you punish me for trying to be a better man for ya.”
And then this “innocent” h has UNPROTECTED sex with him probably not even an hour after she watched the club whore have her mouth on him. Maybe she wasn’t innocent after all and there’s some twist in the future but the personality flip was instant and unbelievable. I really don’t like either the h/H.
Maybe I’ll pick it back up in the future to see what was up with her father but for now I’m done.

This is the second book I’ve read from this author and unfortunately must be the last. I don’t like writing bad reviews but some books are so bad I feel personally offended after reading them. Note to author- if you are going to have your characters do shocking things, have them at least make sense in the context of the character your writing about and the storyline. Having the sweet, innocent h walk into MC clubhouse just as H is about to get bj from club whore, then when H sees h enter stops the whore, tells her to beat it, h then says no, stay and forcibly guides the whore in giving H a bj in front of entire club. Wth? On what planet does that make any sense? She then storms out of clubhouse, H follows her back to her apartment and they have unprotected sex. Of course they do. Way to show him!

I enjoyed parts of this story but overall I couldn't get into the writing and the dialogue felt a little too awkward for me. It made it hard to connect to the characters, especially since the pace was also fast and it felt like some scenes were missing. Which then made it even harder to actually get into the story.
Bash by Sapphire Knight was the second book in the Kings of Carnage MC. The series was written by six separate authors and although are all part of the MC storyline, the books can be read in order or as stand-alones.
Bash was the VP of the MC, a position he earned through his loyalty to his brotherhood. Brothers first. Always. He met Savannah by accident. Literally - it was an accident and he was lucky to be alive. The first person he saw when he came to was an angel aka Savannah Lexington.
I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline as well as both characters. The author also threw in a suspenseful and action packed plot while simultaneously developing the relationship between Bash and Savannah. It was a quick story but well written and well developed for the length. And although it could be read as a stand-alone, Knight provided a good segue for the next book, Jinx.
Bash is the VP of the Kings of Carnage MC and is every part the alpha biker who knows what or who he wants. That just happens to be Savannah Mae who seems all innocent but there is so much more to her. She’s looking for revenge for her father’s death. They meet by “accident” and Bash knows she’s the one for him.
If you don’t like your MC books on the dirty side this isn’t for you but if you revel in all things that some MC’s are about this is definitely for your reading pleasure. I can’t wait for more to come from the Kings of Carnage MC.
Would have DNF halfway but I had time to kill and needed this book for a reading challenge. The book was fine until the H got tired of waiting 2 weeks for the h to have sex with him so he gets oral from a club girl. Its a frequently traveled gray area in MC romance to allow hook ups with ransoms before the mains have officially gotten it on.
I might have been able to forgive the H except that he didn’t stop himself with a conscience decision. And his excuse was so he wouldn’t force himself in the h. All humans have the ability to control themselves, this excuse is weak.
And I kinda respected the h for her slightly off putting controlling nature of the incident and then she let him have it with her anger and backbone showing. Then... she folded like tissue paper. It was awful.
DNF - sorry but when the H says he cheated because she wouldn’t give it to him and she accepts that excuse by immediately giving it to him, that’s when I say I’M OUT.
After reading Chaos, I had my qualms about continuing on with this series. I loved the premise of the first book in the Kings of Carnage MC Series, but it was a bit rushed and I needed more. When I saw Bash’s story was only a few pages longer than Chaos’ story, I was nervous. I’m not a fan of novella length novels, especially when they revolve around a suspense filled MC genre. But I was surprised, I enjoyed the hell out of Bash and Savannah’s novel. Of course there were moments that had me rolling my eyes, but more than most I loved the swoony moments that came along with Bash’s rough exterior. I also loved the fact that it’s looking like each book in the Kings Of Carnage MC Series can be read as a standalone.
Bash is the new Kings Of Carnage MC Vice President, he also happens to be Chaos’ best friend. He lives his life doing what he loves, riding his bike and raising hell. That is until he accidentally runs into a broken down car in the middle of the road.
Savannah is running from a past that continuously haunts her at every unexpected turn and all she needs is her piece of shit car to break down in the middle of the night on a road bound to nowhere. Her night couldn’t possibly be any worse, until Bash runs his motorcycle into the back of Savannah’s car and fate intervenes.
So far, Bash and Savannah are my favorite KoC MC couple. I loved Savannah’s feisty vibes and the strength she brings to this novel. Savannah was on a mission to seek revenge for her father’s death and in finally accomplishing her task, she finds herself with a target on her back. This woman is as fierce as they come. She surprised me, I thought she was the quiet good girl type, but the more I read, the more I uncovered who Savannah was, the more I wanted. I loved the moment she took control into her own hands and disallowed Bash’s acctions at the club to hurt her. Instead she took matters into her own hands! I literally punched the air, Bash wasn’t about to get away with his cheating ways and Savannah was going to see that he paid the high price. But then the cheering stopped as Savannah stomped out of the club house. I wanted to see Bash grovel and beg for Savannah’s forgiveness. Sadly, Savannah didn’t put up much of a fight when it came to letting Bash back into her life…… I wanted a knock out drag down fight. I wanted to see Savannah’s fury and hurt hurdle out of her. I wanted Bash to pay for his wrongs instead I felt like this moment was brushed underneath the rug.
Overall, Bash’s story, so far, is my favorite of the series. I felt this one wasn’t as rushed as Chaos’ story. I liked the premise and I liked the suspense. I’m intrigued to see what else this series has in store for me.
A wonderful plot full of unpredictable twists and turns, suspense, unexpected surprises, and fantastic characters. You get swept up in the mayhem and chaos as you tumble into their lives! You will be biting your nails and worrying through the events as they unfold! You feel, every bump, bruise, slap and terror as shot hits the wall. Read and see what happens to his woman!
Great read, kept you engrossed through to the end. MC romance novels are my new go-to reads & this one did not disappoint. Has unconventional meeting, running from the past,, club loyalty, love & angst...I'd say it has it all. Would recommend a future change in ensuring a shower between a whore bj & intimacy with girl friend...just to remove the ewww factor. Recommend this read. (Reviewed by Lin)
There were many times I just rolled my eyes and parked this one. Not because it's a bad story but because of the language.
I know I sound like an old schoolmarm but the word bitch was said 37 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME he was speaking about Savannah. At first, I thought... well, at least he isn't saying it in front of her but then he did and she smiled and I just went to my bed.
That aside, it's nice that Savannah didn't drop her draws at a wink and that they spent time getting to know each other. Lunch dates and the likes, unlike Chaos who just decided he was in love with someone he spent maybe 2 hours with.
What would have been nice was a development of the storyline. Like why was Savannah's dad targeted? Is Bash a hick or he just didn't pass grade school? Why this loyalty to Chaos and how did they even meet to become best friends? Because they certainly had the pages.
The sex scenes were pretty normal. Nothing to write home about and dual POV wasn't needed. I could have read this in Bash's POV. I much preferred them to be honest.
There is a good base here, which tends to be the case with this series, but no one bothers developing the characters or creating realistic conflicts and solutions.
Mwah... I was not impressed; a mediocre biker story {dertien in een dozijn verhaaltje}. Way too sweet for my taste and no surprises, nothing 'new'. Bash (Sebastian) was swieeet though. ❤ Thought about quitting several times because the story didn't do it for me, but I wanted to know what Savannah's big secret was. Skimmed through the last part of the book... Maybe it's not the book, but me... I've read too many really good (biker) books and it's not easy to impress me nowadays? 😉

Don’t waste your time like I did. So utterly disappointed with this book. I am so so mad. I was absolutely loving this story. It was so good...until he let a club chick suck him off while the girl he supposedly wanted walked in and watched and taunted them. What a gross and disgusting pig. So out of Bash’s character. Why give him a sweet disposition if this is what he is? That wasn’t him. At all. Wtf, seriously? Does he suffer from multiple personalities?
Way to ruin what would have been a 5 star book. If I could give you a half star or negative, you’d have gotten it.
I’m done with this series and will not read this author again. Some of you may like cheating in your stories but I do not.
Why would you do this? Shock factor? Well guess what? I’m shocked anyone continued on after that part. Ugh.
Bash is the second book in this collaboration of Kings of Carnage MC❣️Bash is driving home one night when he drives into a broken down car on a dark road. When he wakes up, he thinks he’s in heaven because he’s found his Angel 😇
Savannah is in hiding because of something that happened in her past, but when she meets Bash and gets to know him better, she starts to let her guard down until her past catches up to her😢
This story was very enjoyable - I really liked Bash, he was basically a giant teddy bear marshmallow - tough on the outside and mushy on the inside😍Some steamy scenes and a very sweet ending😁
Bash and Savannah literally crash in to each other’s life when his motorcycle hits her broken down car . It’s always fun to watch the big hard biker go all gooey inside for a sweet woman while she becomes stronger and more confident like some of his inner strength leaves his body and goes in to hers. I need to go to the next Brother’s book
KU. Book 2 in the Kings of Carnage MC Club by Sapphire Knight. I liked this book better than the Chaos (Book 1). I liked Bash and Savannah and I liked all the different characters in the book. Savannah kills her father's murderer and she is on the run when she meets up with Bash.
I love a good MC romance! This one just didn’t do it for me. I wanted to like Bash, this author made me dislike him. I don’t care for her writing style.
Bash (Kings of Carnage MC #2) by Sapphire Knight is the second book in this series about intense MC drama, Alpha bad boy bikers and assertive women who come into their lives. This is an action packed, gritty sexy romance story about Bash and Savannah's journey. Bash is VP of the Kings of Carnage MC who is loyal to his club and brothers and loves raising hell. Soon Bash is about to have his world rocked when he crashes his bike into Savannah's car. One look at her and Bash sees an Angel and knows at first glance she is bringing out emotions in him that he never thought he could feel. Savannah is a feisty strong young woman who is on the run as she was able to seek revenge for her father's death but now has a target on her back. When her car breaks down and a biker crashes into her fate will bring these two together.
Now all of these feelings will come to ahead for both of them as the chemistry between them is hot, passionate and intense. But these two will not have an easy go, as Bash by his actions at the club will have to grovel to win Savannah back. Bash will soon learn that Savannah is not a mild and weak woman when she is able to hold her own with him. Will she let him back into her life? What will Bash do when he learns what Savannah is hiding? Now Bash will do everything he can to protect the woman who means everything to him from harm as no one takes what is his. What a thrilling exciting story that will pull you in from the first chapter, it had it all twists and turns, danger, loyalty but most of all the passion between Bash and Savannah as Fate has brought these two together. Can't wait for the next story in this exciting series. If you love your bikers who are over the top sexy, raw and gritty then the Kings of Carnage MC men will take you on one hell of a ride or die adventure.
Wow!!! This book was full of dark, twisted, amazing men and women.
Bash is the new VP of the Kings of Carnage he likes his life the way it is and can’t imagine himself doing anything but hanging with his brothers in the MC and doing his job. He wasn’t born into the MC but found his way there after meeting Chaos, his best-friend. He has stood behind Chaos and will always have his back.
Savannah is trying to keep a low profile, she has a junky old car that she bought with cash the day she went on the run, works as a waitress for payment under the table, and has no working cell phone. The night she broke down on her way home is the night that changed her life in many ways. It opened her up for trouble, but it also gave her the one man that would do anything to protect her and love her.
I loved these two. I love the sassiness and strength of Savannah the kindness and toughness of Bash and I loved their love story. This is the second book in the Kings of Carnage MC, and it was just as good if not better than Chaos’ book. I love the writing style of both Hilary Storm and Sapphire Knight and with both books the characters were real, and fun to read. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more in this series. Savannah’s strength and perseverance are admirable, as well as how she doesn’t instantly form an opinion of Bash just based on the fact that he is in an MC or his appearance when she first sees him, although her first introduction to him is quite a bit different than most people, it still shows that she is a kind and generous soul. I love her!
A little bit of everything for the discerning MC reader
By a little but of everything I mean, stabby stabbings, seductive murder, possessive alpha, cool club brothers, drug deals, voyarism, it’s a wild ride but the author stays true to the core theme which is romance. I feel the romance. The Longing. The seduction. The fury. H🔥LL hath no fury like a woman scorned. Or made to feel a fool cause she took an UBER from work to bring your sorry biker butt some yummy din-dins and there you are acting the fool. With a skaaaaañk Savanah was not having it, but she made sure Bash got it and in a very unique way. That was a killer scene I kept saying “omg” in my head the whole way through. Then there was the aftermath. The make up sex. I kept chanting wash your Deck first during that. But no, no one listens to the reader. It was hot. Bash is not bashful, it’s short for Sebastian really. He’s a keeper. He has the playful side to the to counterbalance his deadly side. Makes for a great combo! I loved the lighthearted flirty protective presence Bash brought to Savannah’s life. She was a truly likable heroine. No doormats here. I recommend this book wholeheartedly.
Kings of Carnage MC is a six-book romantic suspense series from six amazing authors. Bash is the second book in this steamy action packed series and can be read as a standalone, although reading the series in order allows for a better appreciation of the characters and MC club itself.
After crashing his bike into Savannah’s broken down car, Sebastian is inescapably drawn to her sweet innocence and beauty, both inside and out. But she’s hiding from something and Bash will do everything in his power to protect what belongs to him and make her his forever. This was a great story with interesting characters and lots of hot scenes. The author does a great job drawing the reader in. At one point (no spoiler) I literally wanted to throttle Bash for his stupidity but she did a great job explaining the situation and winning me back. My only complaint was the excessive use of the word b#*$* in talking about the heroine.
I am looking forward to reading more of the MC series. This was a voluntary review for booksprout.
This is my very 1st Sapphire Knight book, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. At first, I didn't think I was going to care for Bash because he seemed different from the way he was portrayed in Chaos, the first book of the KOCMC series. But as the book went on, I started to really love him. He was strong, fierce, a loyal brother, and when he loves, he does it so fkn hard! Then we meet his Angel, his Sweet Pea, Savannah, she is a strong, intelligent, and very independent woman who is on the run from the people who hurt her family. Fate brings them together one night in the middle of a dark road, and they never part ways afterward. Sebastián does mess up and has to earn her forgiveness, but once he gets his girl he learns not to take her for granted ever again! They go through hell and back together, but they learn that they can count on each other and that together they will overcome anything. Definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series. Can't wait to read more books by this author very soon!
A Captivating Book One of a New MC Series! Loved the storyline and characters in this first book of the Kings of Carnage MC. In this storyline the readers are introduced to Bash, the VP of the KOC. He, quite by accident (literally) runs into the mysterious Savannah late one night. That encounter seals their lives together in unusual and twisted ways. While Savannah initially gives soft vibes, we learn she is made of steal when it comes to surviving and this brings out so many emotions in Bash. This storyline gives a good look at the other club members and what types of challenges they may be facing. This was a must read in one sitting except I forced myself to go to bed at a decent hour. But I’m hooked for more of KOC so am definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment, pleasure and satisfaction! PEACE.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this story of two people who were fated to meet. Actually they collided with each other. A motorcycle hits a car. What a unique way to meet your soul mate, Bash's Angel. Thru all the problems life throws at these two they seem to make things better together. When you read Bash aka. Sebastian and Savannah love story remember he is a strong alpha male who loves and protects what is his. He gives his female the respect she deserves. Yes Savannah is a very strong independent woman. She gives as good as she gets. So the interactions between these two are fun, sexy, intense, playful and hot as sin. So now they both have a new life to live together with a huge extended family of bikers in their MC family. Always expanding the family.
Bash, aka Sebastian, is the type of man all women would want. Genuine, loyal, loving, and fierce when it comes to protecting the one he loves. His life takes a dramatic change one night when he crashes into the back of a car. Broke, afraid, and on the run, Savannah is stranded in the middle of the night when her car quits working. She watches as a motorcycle runs into the back of her car. Afraid the man is dead, she cries and wills the man to be okay. What happens that night is the start of a beautiful relationship. It's as if fate have brought these two together. This book swept me off my feet. I think it was the generalization that love, or even extreme fondness, is not something that is forced. Readers will get a sense of this when reading this book. I recommend it. A great MC!

I gave 2 stars because the storyline was great and the bit of spice I saw (before the spoiler below) was nice but I got angry at the main characters and couldn’t finish.
Unless I missed it, I didn’t realize there would be cheating in this book? And call me old fashioned but if you are trying to get to know a girl, help her, talk about her constantly, and even mess around with her then WHY would you let a “gash” do anything with you? And then basically break down the girls door requesting she get with you after she catches you with the gash? I also understand that in most MC book there is language but I couldn’t take it anymore that Bash kept calling Savannah a b*tch around the guys but then Angel/Sweet Pea around her?? The spice his about 35% of the way in and was hoootttt but you lost me at the strip club. Sorry.
