This is the second book in the series Stories for Children, and it's definitely my favorite. Like the others in the series, this book contains two short stories for children.

Both are very cute and have a moral ending. I also love the nice illustrations. The characters are simply adorable! :)

I also think it's great that children learn an important lesson through the colors' fun adventure.

The bright colors in the illustrations make this book perfect for young children. Also, great for bedtime reading! Kids are sure to make sweet dreams after reading this beautiful book. ;)

"So Many Wonderful Colors of the Rainbow"

"There are so many colors in the rainbow, and I see everyone..." excerpt from song writer Harry Chapin. Colors are important and inspiring to children and that is what makes this children's book fun to read to kids. The colors come to life as cute little fluffies who all have opinions believing they are the best of all colors. It's fun to ask children what their favorite colors are, or what comes in different colors. Find out what the Magic Unicorn teaches them about colors. I loved this little story of wisdom. The illustrations are great, especially that of the Magic Unicorn. Enjoy the read with your kids. You'll all laugh and learn.

My 4-year-old really likes this book and we have read it multiple times. There are two stories, the first about a bunch of 'colors' (little fuzzy coloured monsters) who are arguing about who is the most beautiful, and then a second story where the colours work together. This book isn't perfect, but my little boy likes it a lot ☺

I was babysitting for my friend. He has a little 4 year old name Mason. Looking for a suitable book to read I stumbled upon this book that caught my eye because of the cover. Being familiar with this author I knew it was a safe book to get. A Colorful Argument was the name of the first story. It teaches about colors and it shows the colors through the characters in the story that are fuzzy teddy-bear like creatures covered in hair that matches the color they represent with their respective names. This story is also about the value of being different and how those deviations make us especial. The characters also mention common objects that are known for their colors, like the yellow sun and the green grass making it easier for children to learn by association.

The Drawing is the second story which is a reinforcement of the values presented on the first but it adds finger painting and it shows all the colors page by page through a story. Little Mason was eager to paint after I read him the second story. He saw all the colors working together page by page to create a colorful picture. Both stories in this book talk about being different and being beautiful because of it. It is a great book to teach children about colors and what they look like.
