This book is a lot like a magazine. It doesn't have that many words, but has a lot of pictures from the film instead. I got it from Amazon second hand for about £3. Nice book!

La primera vez que leí Maze Runner, la película fue una noche antes de ir al cine a ver la adaptación. Quería chusmear solo un poco, lo que me esperaría al día siguiente, como para estar preparada... La segunda vez que lo leí, fue la noche siguiente, cuando ya luego de haber visto la película, me senté a rememorar las partes que más me gustaban. Hoy no puedo abrir el libro sin sentir el griterío de los fans durante la avant premiere y la emoción que me recorría la piel cada vez que aparecía en escena alguno de los personajes protagonistas.

Hay muchísimas fotos de alto impacto, no hay spoilers sobre el segundo libro (ni el tercero, jajaja); así que si no has leído la saga completa no tienes de que preocuparte. ¿Conviene leer este ejemplar luego de ver la película? Pues sí y no, depende de los gustos particulares de cada uno... No hay nada que pueda arruinarte la experiencia de la película, especialmente porque no hay fotos de los penitentes, jajaja.

Sin embargo, Maze Runner, la película es un libro para fans, para lectores enamorados de la saga que ya han comprado y leído absolutamente todo lo que tenía que ver con los larchos. Así que si no eres un habitante del área, este libro álbum no es para ti.

Este libro solo lo recomendaria a los fans de las peliculas mas que nada por las ilustraciones que tiene ya que no aporta realmente nada nuevo a la historia si ya te leiste los otros libros y seria un gasto innecesario para tu cartera.
Aunque si quieres tener todos los libros adelante.

I really enjoyed this guide to The Maze Runner movie. I've been a fan of The Maze Runner series for years now, and I'm excited that the series is being adapted for film.

This book is full of beautiful illustrations, in fact there's one on nearly every page. The captions describe what's going on in the illustrations, quite simply, so for people who are new to the series, they won't feel lost. I liked that aspect of this book: that it is for anyone interested in the movie, not just people who've read the books.

There are a lot of quotes from The Maze Runner peppered throughout this guide. I liked that, and liked how the quotes were used on the character pages. Each character's quote introduces them and was a good trigger for my memories of that character. Speaking of the characters, I love the casting! The characters look almost exactly how I pictured them to look as I read the series. The character guide was a welcome addition, as I remembered the names, but couldn't remember certain Glader's jobs.

Lastly, the book depicts each section of the Glade, from the Maze walls, the Council Hall, the Homestead, the Lookout Tree, etc. This was my favorite aspect of this book, actually seeing the Glade in photographs. I loved seeing the Glade and the Maze come to life, and it made me excited to see the movie.

As far as guides go, I don't think this book could be any better. It was a great teaser for the movie and also a good review of book one. I recommend it for anyone interested in The Maze Runner series, and for potential movie-goers!

Haven't read this since the first movie came out (almost four years ago omfg) but I think this is a good guide to the movie universe. It talks about all our favourite characters, the maze (which has differences from the book maze so it's nice that they explain some of the things they added to the film version of it for both people who read the books and people who haven't) and everything in between.

Glad that I bought this so long ago, now I want to rewatch the first movie again lol

Linda edición con papel fotográfico, algunas imágenes están más nítidas que otras.

No he visto esta peli, leí la trilogía principal cuando salió en su momento, recuerdo que me costó un poco terminar el segundo libro, Prueba de fuego.

Fue interesante recordar detalles leyendo este resumen de la primera historia.

Creo que con este tipo de libros no hay mucho que decir. Yo no pude ver la película en cines y sigo sin verla en casa, pero la verdad es que quedé encantada con el trabajo que hay en esta edición.

Las frases que vienen a lo largo del libro, las imágenes que acompañan esos momentos, y explicaciones de lo que representan los escenarios que aparecen en la película, todo en su conjunto, hace que me arrepienta de no haber aceptado la invitación a verla cuando estuvo en cines, ahora tendré que conformarme con usar el proyector y verlo en mi pared :(

Decir que me llevó diez minutos leerlo es mucho. Tiene muy poco texto, pero las imágenes que tiene son perfectas, y me encantó la información que tiene. Había un par de cosas que me había olvidado, y otras que en la película no había notado. Por ejemplo, cuando fui a ver la película (hago una pausa para decir que fui cuatro veces) busqué desesperadamente el nombre de Newt en la pared donde escribían los nombres y juro que ninguna de las cuatro veces lo encontré. Soy tan inteligente que busqué por todos lados menos abajo de donde Thomas escribió. Cuando me compré la guía pude darme cuenta de donde estaba.

No creo que le haya faltado nada a la guía, y puedo llegar a agregar que me pareció mejor que el trailer en si. Además, deja bastante intriga como para querer seguir leyendo el próximo libro (en el caso de que solamente hayas visto la película).

Cuatro de cinco estrellas (solamente porque no hay nada como los libros de James).

The book features photos from the movie. I haven't watched the movie, so I can't say much about how they're placed chronologically. However, i imagine that they're placed in an order that makes sense. Along the way, text boxes give information about the different characters and the situations that they face. While I'm not a big fan of insider guides, I have to admit that this is well done, and the photos are gorgeous and high res. This is a must-have for die-hard fans of The Maze Runner and its movie adaptation.

I'm a huge fan of The Maze Runner series and it's hard to described how utterly excited I am for the movie next month. This companion book is filled to the brim with colourful movie stills and descriptions about the Glade, the Gladers, and how their society works. If it's been a while since you read the book (like me; I plan on re-reading the series before the movie comes out) or just want to know a bit more about the Glade before the movie arrives, this is the book for you. Fans of the original series will love this, I guarantee it.

There's a picture of Dylan O'Brien in a tank top, if that entices you. ;)

¡Las imágenes que tiene son espectaculares!
La adaptacion fue muy bien hecha, conservaron las partes mas importantes de la historia y creo que el cast que escogieron fue perfecto.
Aunque cambiaron algunas cosas y otras no las agregaron, no se sientio mucho el cambio y capturaron bien la esencia de la historia.
Ya quiero ver que hacen con Prueba de Fuego y espero que los fans de esta saga sigan creciendo porque, en mi opinión, es de la mejores que hay.

Este libro, lleva años en mi librero, y hoy despues de mucho decidi limpiarlo, y me dije por que no leerlo?. Me encantaron las fotografias son magnificas, describe bien lo que seria el mundo de Maze Runner, contando con cada detalle la escenografia, los personajes. Fue como un pequeño pantallazo para recordarme lo que vivi al ver la adaptacion hace años, ademas que ahora se acerca el estreno de la Cura mortal en cines proximamente.

Maze Runner La Película. Bienvenidos al área, está muy bien hecho y cuenta con 122 páginas, en donde encontraremos fotografías de los personajes con sus perfiles y de escenas de la película con pequeñas descripciones sobre las situaciones que enfrentan, un montón de citas de la novela, áreas a conocer del laberinto, así como un breve resumen de la historia que ya conocemos.

I’m very Lucky after I Read a book series and the movies series that I (Almost) Complete collection of the Maze Runner. You Know I should’ve read the Hunger Games and Divergent if I had time (although I read Both of the 1st Novel). Any way, back to Companion Book.

This is described as the Mini-Guide Book. The pages of photograph are good, Showing Characters Are Great, And The Quotes Are Great (if doesn’t come from the Book). But feel Not enough, i mean May be a very short Pages, but still goood to the new reader of this. I mean they should’ve have the Map of the Maze, much detail of the Glade photograph, and shown image of Grievers that what I missed.

Gotta Say, when I open a Pages, it look good to see the images. This may not be exactly like this in the book, but it’s look really good and similarity of Source Material.

Maze Runner es una de mis sagas de libros favoritas, seguí el trabajo del director de las películas para comprender su visión y lo que quería para dicho universo. Sin duda, es una excelente forma de explorar este universo teniendo en cuenta que tanto James Dashner, Wes Ball y la productora, tenían su propia idea sobre el resultado final.
Este pequeño librito es la guía necesaria que cualquier fan de las películas necesita para adentrarse al universo de Maze Runner pero ahora en los libros, la esencia es la misma, pero el camino es diferente.
