I read this book in 2 hours it was just that good

This Book grip your attention from the very first page. Ed is just to Damn greedy and trying to do too much too soon. E.J. is really a smart young man. Not wanting to reveal the book but I hope that Ed don't get EJ caught up in his mess Ernest Morris really did a great Job with this book. Cannot wait for Part 2

Unexpectedly good!

Get ready for an interesting ride. The story is easy to follow and you get to the know the characters quickly. The story flow is smooth and takes you from where they are now to the beginning. I can't wait to read part 2.

This Is Good Stuff

Two young men...friends, living life on different ends of the spectrum. Both are business minded, one of the streets and the other of a more sophisticated nature. How will this new "business venture" work out for them? Will they live to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

I always like when a book is not what you expect. Although there was some drug dealing it wasn't the main story line. I like that Ed and EJ were best friends but totally opposite in character. I like that eventhough Maria put the hustle together she had a college degree and a job.
I dislike that book 1 was only 74 pages and there is a book 2 & 3 which tells me all three parts could be one book. When a book gets chopped up like that it takes the joy out of reading for me

Pretty good read but kind of predictable like the sister sleeping with the best friend. I did like that as best friends Ed and EJ were so opposite and I like that the story was not just one dimensional. I didn't know what to expect but I like the low key bank robberies. Now Eds way of flipping numbers is sure to Bring more drama to the mix.

I was disappointed that the read was less than 100 pages and has a part 2&3 but I still look forward to the next installment.

Flipping

This was a good book but it was to short. Once you get into it, it's over. I appreciate the loyalty and bond that Ed & Ej have. That's a friendship a lot of guys wish they had.

Good first book. Is the ebook version (I got from smashwords) different than the kindle version?

Warning: has slight spoilers:

I wish the characters Ed and EJ where a little more fleshed out. Every woman in the story has a big butt, now I've never been to Philly so I can't say how accurate this is...but a trip to Philly is now on my list of things to do...just to investigate that for myself.

I wish there would have been more descriptive dialogue (show dont tell). In example: "Sonja was wearing a Steffe Dress." Was it black...white...low cut...sleeveless...form fitting.

Without giving away to much detail...how did Maria know Ed was so smart(Chan and Ed barely talked to each othr in school according to Ed...was it just on the word of Chan, this was never established.

The girl that he picked up when he became a "baller"...he paid for her food (because she was so fine she shouldn't have to pay) and then accepted his change from the cashier? Then when he pulled out a 100 dollar bill and she said you're going to end up paying more than that for me...well...did he?

Maybe some of these questions are answered in part 2? I found the book an interesting read and recommended it to a friend who also read it and pointed out that the characters had similarities to my own characters in:

I'm looking to see how this will play out in the remaining pieces.

Good read!

Overall, this was a good read. Some of the language was too explicit for me, but it has a great plot and I was left wondering at the end what would happen next. Not sure yet if I will read the rest of the series.
