Philip was a powerhouse gospel writer. He wrestled with the fundamental issues that were the core of Christian belief in his day. One of his more important contributions to the study of Christian belief was the higher concept of the 'Bridal Chamber'. That concept is surprisingly more in-depth than merely the union of Christ and the church, and it speaks directly to each of us.
