Save Me is the second book in the highly addictive Wolf Hotel Mermaid Beach series, a spin-off of the Wolf Hotel series.

The last thing I expected to find in Mermaid Beach was love.
Yet, here we are. I, Ronan Lyle, am infatuated with a woman again.
And there is no way in hell I’m losing this one to Henry Wolf.

Some people say I lack purpose.
I’m about to prove them all wrong because my sole purpose in life is to protect Sloane from her billionaire neighbor’s grand plans.
Even if it means my future goes up in flames.

This is the second half of Ronan and Sloane’s story.

Please note: This series is intended for a mature audience.

When What You Think You Wanted Leads You to What You Know You Need
The second instalment of Ronan and Sloane’s story is as sizzling, tension-filled, and page-turning as you’d expect from a K.A. Tucker book.

🖤 Ronan: Protector, Not “Bad Boy”
I know Ronan was supposed to be the bad boy in the previous series, but to me, he’s always been the protector: emotionally mature, keenly aware of others’ needs, and unwilling to stop at anything to protect the people he loves.
He’s brave, focused, and unflinching, even when everything is at risk. In other words… peak book boyfriend material.

👑 Sloane: Queen Energy
Sloane was doing her best, falling bit by bit for Ronan, and building a relationship based on trust, communication, and maturity… even while they were both keeping secrets. Relationship goals.
The way they handle obstacles together reflects how well of a team they are.

💼 Henry: The Business Tycoon
I adore Henry, but here he’s on his brand, more the business tycoon than the man we saw with Abbie.
I hoped Abbie (and maybe all the Mitchells 😏) would have rubbed off on him, but clearly, family-as-a-value still needs to climb his priority list.
Also… where was my girl Violet?

💌 Cameos, Chemistry & Connection
I loved all the cameos from beloved characters in both books. Even more, I appreciated how stark the social difference was between Henry’s circle and Ronan’s, and how Sloane knows exactly where she fits. Her warmth with Abbie was such a joy. These 2 can be besties, and I want to see that.
I very much enjoyed the power dynamics in this book and how, in the end, strength was given to the right person without creating unnecessary drama.

📚 My Only Complaint? I WANT MORE.
If I have one complaint, it’s that I wanted more. I’m left slightly frustrated, wondering if a novella is coming (fingers crossed). I would have been happy with two epilogues, honestly. While we do get answers and resolution, I just… want more.

💌 Thank you to K.A. Tucker and Valentine PR for the ARC. As always, this in no way affected my opinion of the book.

Save Me is the second book in ‘The Wolf Hotel Mermaid Beach’ series and the second half of Sloane and Ronan’s story. Honestly, I would love to get more of these two. I hope Tucker writes more from this series, even if they don’t get another book, so that we can get more insight into their life and what’s going on there.

Just like the first book in this series, this one was addictive. There was never a slow moment, and I didn’t want to stop reading. Ronan really stepped it up in this book. I adored him and Sloane together. I would love to get a Connor book in the future, or maybe a Jeremy book!

Loved loved loved this one!!
It was the perfect conclusion to the duet 🥹😍

I thought it was so interesting to see Henry through someone else’s eyes 🤭 like I knew after reading the wolf hotel series that he was kind of an a**hole, even through Abbi’s eyes, but damn🤭 we really experienced it big time in this one 😂

I also loved how loudly Ronan Loved Sloane !! They certainly didn’t expect each other but oooh they really were made for each other 🩷

Save Me is the sequel to Release Me. It is the second book in the steamy Wolf Hotel Mermaid Beach series. This series is a spin-off of the Wolf Hotel series. This is Ronan and Sloane’s story.

I read Release Me/Save Me without having read the previous Wolf Hotel series. This series works fine on its own. However I am still curious about Abbi and Ronan’s previous relationship.

The first book ended with a really good cliffhanger. So I was excited to see what would happen next. Save Me picks up where Release Me left off. This is a quick read.

The book alternates between Ronan and Sloane’s POVs. It’s interesting that he is 26 and she is 31. I forgot that she was older.

I enjoyed this book. I really like the Wolf Hotel atmosphere. I love seeing elaborate events and parties. I love seeing Ronan and Abby’s friendship. And Henry Wolf is such a conniving billionaire. He makes a great villain.

The romance was good. I like Sloane for Ronan. Although I definitely don’t feel like their story is complete. Since there was no epilogue hopefully we get more of their story in a book featuring some other characters!?!

“𝐈’𝐦 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞.”

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed these two books. It’s such a nice change of pace from my usual deep and darker emotional reads.

So easy to read, flew through them and book 2 gives us the HEA we needed for Ronan and Sloane.
These two cannot keep their hands off each other!
Ronan establishes his place both with Wolf Hotels and his love life.
Sloane being the witty and unshakeable force she is, sticks to her morals and core beliefs from the OG Sea Witch.

Loved how everything played out in this book and all the loose ends coming together. I’m intrigued to see what else will come from this next gen series 🫶🏽

I inhaled this book—couldn’t put it down.

Ronan is my favorite ❤️
Henry Wolf is Still an a-hole (and I adore him).
Connor is still the lovable fuqboy.
Abbi and Sloane could be besties I think

The Wolf Hotel series is amazing, and Mermaid Beach is just as spicy, just as addictive. The perfect ending to Ronan’s story, he’s grown so much. His grit, and his face-offs with Henry Wolf had me cackling . Familiar characters return, but it’s Sloane + Ronan’s love story that owns the spotlight.

K.A. Tucker, you’ve done it again. 🔥
I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see what’s next

I’ve said it before and I’ll scream it from the rooftops again: Ronan is the ultimate book boyfriend. No notes. Perfection. Done. And Sloane? The perfect match for him. I’m completely obsessed with their dynamic and everything Ronan does for her in this book … swoony doesn’t even cover it.

As always, Connor is tagging along for the ride and honestly? He never disappoints. Manifesting a full Connor series because the man deserves his moment.

Abbi remains an absolute delight (even if her taste in husbands is highly questionable, yes Henry, I’m glaring directly at you). Her friendship with Ronan though? It’s grown into something so special, and I love the way it’s written.

One big recommendation: read the Wolf Hotel series first. You’ll get all the delicious backstory and, trust me, it’ll make you fall head-over-heels for Ronan even more.

Fave Quotes

“Are you always like that?” “Like what?” “An insatiable sex demon.”

Another beat passes, and then he leans in to whisper in my ear, “I’m telling you that I’m all in with this. With you.” My heartbeat pounds in my chest. Am I hearing this correctly? “So, if I have this baby …” “It’s gonna have an incredibly annoying uncle named Connor in its life.”

“She’s definitely the one, huh?” Abbi calls out. “The one who saved Ronan Lyle from himself?” I smile. “Yeah, Red. She’s the one.”

What are the odds that the fuck boy who strolled into my shop one afternoon has turned out to be everything I needed in my life?

Ronan Lyle is the f boy - dream guy blueprint in my opinion. Or maybe it’s more like he’s inherently the dream guy, posing as an f boy, but then unconsciously reverts back to his dream guy ways in friendship and when he falls fast and hard.

I seriously can’t get Sloane and Ronan off of my mind though. I finished reading Save Me three days ago and decided to let their story marinate a little in my mind and yes I did in fact love it, and the Mermaid Beach world, as much as I thought I did when I reached “the end.” I could honestly stay in this world forever and be just fine with it.

I feel like this book and the ending were absolutely perfect for all involved. From the way Ronan was so immediately protective and proud of Sloane for all she was and everything she was willing to do to fight for her found family and the land/business her family had been running for ages, to the way everyone just rallied around Sloane in her little community and the way the Wolf Hotel crew/world sort of weaves into the Mermaid Beach world so easily. I realize that was the authors intent, but that’s not always easy to do believably, to truly make it feel like worlds are colliding in the very best ways.

There are so many characters I would love to see more of if K A decided to bless us with more. If honest I never want to say bye to these characters and this world, so I will always always root for more. Plus Mermaid Beach just puts me in the best mood.

Save Me was funny, emotional, sweet, and spicy. Absolutely must be read after book 1, Release Me, but the duet can be read standalone. Recommend to anyone who wants to read a duet to close out the summer and start the Wolf Hotel world from another direction.

Save Me picks up where Release Me leaves off. And takes you on another captivating, page turning, steamy ride. In fact I started and finished it all in the same day.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own and given freely.

Ronan Ronan Ronan. He's trying to move on from his playboy persona. But he's such a sexual being. And the ladies certainly don't make it easy for him. But he's got his sights set on one person. Sloane. And he's determined not to let anything get between them. But between his job, Henry's plans, and secrets they both keep- it is not smooth sailing ahead.

I was on the edge of my seat, not knowing where the author was going to take this. I loved every moment of Ronan and Sloane together. The flirty banter, the sizzling intimate moments, and the way they just make the perfect team. Especially since Henry is showing us his hard, uncaring, business mogul side. And to avoid spoiler's I'm just going to leave it there. But I really hope there is more to come, because that is my only complaint- it felt rushed in the end. Don't get me wrong, it feels wrapped up neatly, albeit loosely... but I WANT MORE. For them. Of them. Please give us more! My gosh, this author never fails to leave me begging for more. I think it's her secret power.

Oh and can we have a moment for the dirty socks line- absolute perfection. I lost it laughing. Gold star humor too. Don't miss it!

Honestly, I’m mad. Mad and sad for a series and world that I loved so much.

I never take the time to actually write reviews but I feel so passionate about The Wolf Hotel universe, since it clearly feels like the author doesn’t anymore, I have to say something.

When I recommend The Wolf Hotel series, I tell people, only read books 1-4. Because in book 5 the Henry we know and love, the storytelling, none of it exists anymore.

I’ve never particularly cared for Ronan - but, was eager to get back into this world. This is what was decided for his fate? An accidental pregnancy? It’s evident he was so much love to give, but we were never even given an “I love you” from either party. This book’s ending was rushed and anti-climactic.

And Henry? I understand this book is from Ronan’s point of view - but his hatred for Henry feels unwarranted and incredibly immature and in no way is reflective of how they seemingly reached common ground in the original series. He has no grounds to hate Henry as much as he does. And the Henry we saw in this book, is not the Henry I fell in love with - which just isn’t fair to the four books of beautiful character development we saw from him.

Very, very disappointing.

Please read those books first - you would miss way too much amazingness if you left that out! You don't have to, but please do!

Sloane + Ronan book #2

We're back in Florida with Sloane and Ronan and the Wolfs - Abby and Henry.
Henry is still planning on destroying Sloanes property - her whole life basically. And Ronan is trying his best to keep his job and to not lose Sloane. He enlists Abby's help in convincing her husband to leave Sloane alone. It won't be easy...
Plus there's also the secret Sloane is keeping...

READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT IF WE'LL GET OUR HEA!

Adorable and funny and sexy...

This was the perfect final book for Sloane and Ronan.
Sunny, beachy, funny, sparky, sexy, adorable. But also a bit emotional and scary and so much more.
I loved reading this.
I love Ronan and Sloane together. They're perfect for each other. But of course it's all so very complicated. But we'll fight for our happily ever after.
I hated on Henry a tiny bit - he was horrible at times. Poor guy. But of course we still adore him. And Abby too obviously.
The whole cast is perfect. Amazing friends and family and hotel people and clients.
And of course we have our darling Connor again. He so needs his own book(s). Hopefully we're not done with the Wolf universe.

SAVE ME was the perfect final book in this new Wolf Hotel Spin-off duet! We get so much funny and sunny and adorable and very sexy and exciting and scary and emotional and all the beautiful things.

I love this crew. I’m a huge fan of the Wolf Hotel series and loved Ronan, so the Mermaid Beach series was a no-brainer and I’m thrilled that I got to read the eARC (thank you KA Tucker and Valentine PR!).

Lots happened in Save Me, and I loved every second of it! Ronan and Sloane are two of my favourites, and I loved their story!

Save Me picks up right after the events of Release Me with Sloane having to make a life altering decision. Surprise Pregnancy is my least favourite trope and I try to avoid it as much as possible, however I had to finish this story. Save Me is exactly what I thought it would be.

Sloane spends the entire novel trying to figure out if she should tell Ronan she’s pregnant. She spends very little time deciding if she wants to keep the baby, so it’s obvious what the inevitable outcome will be. It was boring and unengaging.

Ronan is probably one of the least swoonworthy Tucker love interests. While Ronan may be attracted and falling for Sloane, it’s clear that he’s still pining for Abbi. He’s constantly flirting with her, reminding her of their past hookups, and even thinking about those hookups. There’s a particularly egregious scene where they were hanging out on the beach sampling pastries and Ronan was getting hot and bothered because Abbi was sexually eating jelly filling. This wasn’t a particularly good look for Abbi either as she continues to be the sexually naive girl from the first couple of novels of The Wolf Hotel series despite being heavily pregnant.

The novel has a predictable ending and everyone lives happily ever after. Although, if I had to make a list of fictional characters I thought would break up post-novel, Ronan and Sloane would be on this list.

Overall, Save Me was exactly what I was expecting it to be. I dislike the surprise pregnant trope, so despite how well written the story could have been, I still wouldn’t enjoy it. Also, the MMC left much to be desired.

ARC Review 📚
𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 26𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁

I was absolutely feral when this ARC landed in my hands—KA Tucker is one of my all-time faves and Wolf Hotel forever lives rent-free in my head, so the expectations? Sky high. And somehow, she still delivered.

We finally got Ronan and Sloane’s HEA and I swear, my little Wolf Hotel–obsessed heart was squealing the entire time. Their chemistry? Off the charts. The angst, the tension, the banter—it was giving everything I needed and more. Watching Ronan finally let his walls down with her was pure chef’s kiss. And Sloane? She came in swinging, holding her own against all the chaos and proving she was exactly who Ronan needed. Their story felt like such a perfect full-circle moment for the series.

And then there’s Henry. Seeing him in this book was such a trip—he came out guns blazing in full alpha-hole, business-tycoon mode. The drama? The power plays? The tension? I was eating it up. Watching both Abbi and Ronan go toe-to-toe with him was such a highlight. (Still a Henry girl through and through though 😂).

Also… Conner. CONNER. My man stole scenes left and right, and I’m still low-key (okay, high-key) obsessed. If KA Tucker is reading these reviews… blink twice if Conner’s book is coming because I’m already practicing being delusional about him 😂🫶🏽

Basically: this book was everything I wanted and then some.
10/10 would throw my memory out the window if it meant experiencing this series for the first time again.

K.A. Tucker does it again!!! It’s the way I could not put this book down, except to sleep & eat.

I fell even deeper in love with Ronan, Sloane, & Mermaid Beach. A man who’s willing to risk it all for the woman he loves? MY KRYPTONITE!!! I will always die for the reformed playboy trope with the determined good girl FMC who stands up for what she believes in. Also the Easter eggs for Connor & Ronan’s baby sister? Need that book real bad!!!

Dare I say I loved this series even more than the Wolf Hotel series?! But it also made me want to go back and read it all over again. The glimpses of Abbi and Henry made my heart happy. Even though at times I was so annoyed at Henry I still love my broody billionaire man!!!!

Forever wishing Mermaid Beach was a real place so I could catch the next flight there and hangout in rainbow alley with the sea witch family.

I’m going to keep this fairly short because every time I think about this book, it pisses me off…

Everyone that knows me knows that The Wolf Hotel series is one of my favorites. I know book 5, Own Me, was a letdown for some but I still enjoyed it. Books 1 through 4 though? Top tier, Roman Empire status.

However, I don’t know what the hell this book was. I was a bit skeptical of the direction of the storyline after book 1, but I was willing to give this book the benefit of the doubt. I don’t know what the hell happened to Ronan’s character but that was NOT the Ronan I grew to love in Wolf Hotel. He turned into a total asshole and for what? The dumpster fire of a FMC, Sloane? Henry was made out to be the biggest villain and I didn’t buy a single minute of it. Those 2 stars are for Connor and that’s it.

I will be completely wiping this book from my memory and pretending none of it happened. I don’t know where the series goes from here. I was really eager for a potential future Connor book but now I’ll be wary to read any further.

Thank you to Valentine PR for the advanced reader copy.

I enjoyed this so much more than book one. I finished it in twelve hours, I didn’t want to put it down.

I love how real all the characters in this series are. Ronan and Connor are hilarious, I adore their friendship and all of their interactions. Sloane really grew on me in this second book. I’m a bit confused about how Henry was portrayed in this one though, it seemed a bit out of character for him. I really liked how Ronan and Sloane’s romance wrapped up although the resolution of the conflict with Henry felt a bit abrupt.

I’m really hoping we get more books in this series. I feel like there were hints of a Connor book at the end there and I would absolutely love to read that!

I love this world and all the characters in it, and after reading The Wolf Hotel series I couldn’t wait to see more of Ronan. But unfortunately, this one didn’t quite live up to what I was hoping for.
What I loved about Ronan before was his wild, magnetic energy and the way he pushed boundaries, both in his character and in the spice. While we saw glimpses of that in this duet, overall it leaned a little too much into instalove. I missed that raw, untamed version of him that made me fall for him in the first series.
I liked Sloane and thought she was a great match for Ronan, but I wish their relationship had more depth and buildup. At times it felt rushed, and the story seemed to focus more on general relationship drama than truly digging into their connection. I was also expecting more spice, given Ronan’s reputation.
Lastly, i was pretty bummed about Henry’s portrayal. He was one of my favorites in The Wolf Hotel, but by the end of this book I really didn’t like him, which was such a letdown.
Overall, I still enjoyed being back in this world, but compared to The Wolf Hotel, this just didn’t have the same spark.

I didn't think it was possible to like another couple as much as I loved Henry and Abby, and here I am upset I already finished Ronan and Sloan's story. The Wolf Hotel world is like quicksand and it sucks you in, to the point you cannot escape (let's be honest I don't want to). I wasn't sure about Sloan at first but she quickly brought me around to liking her. K A. Tucker always has strong side characters in all her books and this one was no different. Frank is my favorite grump! Not only did she get me to love new characters but she actually had me mad at Henry and Abby a few times. This duet was a roller coaster and I loved every minute of it!

This is the second part of Sloane and Ronan's love story and I enjoyed being back in their world again. I love the way I feel like I'm right there in the story as I read this author's books. The setting and the characters feel so realistic. I enjoyed the slight age gap in this romance and it played out perfectly. I'm hoping for a book for Connor too...hint...hint...

I am mostly happy with the way things worked out for Ronan and Sloane.

The “big battle” turned out to be a whole lotta nothing.

I was really, really disappointed with Henry and surprised that Abbi couldn’t do more.

I felt the ending left you hanging. There weren’t a lot of answers which leads me to think there might be more books or another spin off?? I’m hoping anyways.

I have never finished a book so fast. I ate this book up and want to read it again already.

1. Ronan is still my favourite character
2. Henry Wolf is still a d!ck, but we love him
3. Connor is the best ride or die best friend out there
4. Abbi and Sloane melted my heart

The Wolf Hotel series by KA Tucker is my favourite series and the spin off Mermaid Beach, is just as spicy and addictive. I can’t get enough of her writing.

The perfect way to end Ronan’s story. I love him. I love his growth, I love his struggles and I love that he takes on Henry Wolf. I loved that characters from the original series were included and the my didn’t outshine Sloane and Ronan, but added to their love story.

Thank you KA Tucker for writing some of my favourite books. This one is definitely up there

Ronan has always been one of my favorites since Wolf Hotel so getting his spin-off felt like such a treat. He’s always been the love-hard, fall-fast type and honestly? It just works for him. Sloane was the perfect match for him; she balanced out his chaos but also kept him on his toes.

This really was the perfect ending for Ronan and Sloane’s story. Their banter had me grinning, but then the next chapter I’d be holding my breath because the tension was that good. And don’t even get me started on the side characters (Connor, Gigi, King Kong especially); everyone added their own flavor and kept things fun and messy in the best way.

I loved seeing Ronan grow in this book. He’s still wild yet charming, but you really feel how much he’s matured and stepped into what he wants for his future. And okay, I’ll say it, I’m still crossing my fingers we get Connor’s story (or maybe Bailey and Frank?? Anyone else catch those vibes?) next because I am not ready to let go of this world yet.

The Wolf Hotel series is one of my all time favorites, so when I heard a spinoff was coming and we’d have an opportunity to return to this world, I was over the moon. Getting my hands on Release Me elicited squeals of delight and the ending made me cry out that Save Me couldn’t come soon enough. Save Me was the perfect end to this story and I loved the arc of Ronan over these six books. Sloane was the perfect FMC to bring into the Wolf world and I’m just sorry I have to say goodbye to these characters - but I’ll hold out hope that maybe Connor will get a book one day and I’ll get to revisit them!

Ronan and Sloane are both keeping secrets that could change everything for them both.

While Sloane is trying to keep her home and business intact, Ronan finds himself in the position of potentially losing another woman he loves because of Henry Wolf, but this time he’s refusing to go down without a fight.

I was literally counting down the seconds for this book to release, and was lucky enough to obtain an advanced copy for review.

Honestly, words can’t even describe how much I loved this story. I always felt Ronan got the short end in the Wolf Hotel Series, so I was so happy that we were finally going to dig deeper into his character, and hopefully he’d get his chance at a happy ever after.

While the WH series always portrayed Henry as a cold, calculating man, we always saw his sweeter side through Abby’s eyes, but the rose coloured glasses are definitely off in this book, because Henry definitely played the role of the villain well. If I hadn’t just reread the first 5 books before Mermaid Beach, I’d probably hate him after this one.

Ronan exceeded my every expectation in showing just how much he’s willing to risk, and do, for those he loves (as if crawling into a mine shaft for Abbi wasn’t enough), and he left nothing on the table when it came to Sloane, even before he know how much was at stake.

Sloane also showed her own strength, proving to us that you don’t need a man to make things better, but having one sure doesn’t hurt.

I truly hope we’ll see more of these characters in future books because not only did we get more glimpses of Ro and Red’s friendship, but seeing her and Sloane bond over their similarities tells me that they could become such great friends as well.

No different from every other book in the Wolf Hotel series, I couldn't put this book down! Save me is book 2 in the Wolf Hotel Mermaid Beach series (Wolf Hotel spin off), and the continuation of Release Me - Ronan + Sloane's story.
Release Me left us on a cliffhanger, so I was chomping at the bit to find out what happens next.
Sloane is still fighting with the Wolf Hotel Empire and harbouring a major secret. Ronan is caught between a rock and hard place, being a Director at the hotel and learning some bad news about the hotel's future plans. This book definitely had me reading voraciously waiting for their secrets to be revealed to each other! My fave part of the story: Watching Ronan go from playboy to boy obsessed. Give me more, I was eating it up! I've been rooting for him to find happiness since we first met him, this poor guy has been through enough heartbreak.
We got to know Sloane better in this book too, and she's perfect for Ronan. I love her and her little commune of misfits, Frank aka King Kong.
Just because Ronan caught feelings doesn't mean we lost sexy playboy Ronan vibes though - there was a beach Tiki hut scene that had me hot hot hot!
We get more Wolf Hotel drama, and well known characters like Henry + Abbi. Ronan's playboy bestie Connor is back too, and I can't get enough of him. Please let us have his story next I'm begging.
It's Too Hot to Handle (think beautiful beaches, hot people, temptation + drama) meets Nobody Wants This (witty, heartwarming, + playful). If you're looking to escape into a bingeworthy series this is the one!
