This Memory is the third book in the Moose Village series and it is Gavin and Brystol's romance. I have wanted to read their story since book two and wanted to find out why Brystol hated Gavin. Brystol still hates Gavin. She was in love with him in High school until he broke her heart. Now their best friends have asked Brystol to become their surrogate and after thinking about it she agrees, even though it means she will have to spend more time with Gavin. Gavin doesn't know why Brystol hates him,he was in love with her in high school then she stopped talking to him and ever since then she insults him when they see each other. Gavin wants to be there for Brystol during the pregnancy, but they need to sort out their past hurts first. Gavin and Brystol still have feelings for each other and the chemistry between them is off the charts.Gavin is amazing with the love and support he gives Brystol.I loved Brystol with her sass, boldness abd banter. It is not smooth sailing and there is unexpected heartbreak along the way, Brystol and Gavin get to their happily ever after, but there are lots of tears, trials, twists, drama before they get there. The friendships were amazing and i loved the support from their friends.Of course it is a small town so there is lots of gossip. A very emotional read with lots of laughter, banter, tears, friendships, family, steam, swoony moments, romance and a happily ever after. I recieved an ARC of this book from Greys Promotions and am voluntarily leaving my review. Cannot wait for the next book in the series.
I have read the previous books in this series and also have read all the author's book so I am familiar with the writing style. That said this one threw me for a little lope, it's not your typical baby book but there is so much more and it's complicated. *always is right*
Brystol has been in love with Gavin since they were younger, back when he broke her heart. Now as adults they co exist but mostly just stay out of each other's ways even though Gavin tries to figure out why she hates him. It's a whole complicated things but after reading the book I think a simple conversation would have cleared it up of course but now it's too late since it's been festering for years and it only got worse. For Brystol that is. Now Gavin is the town's cop and she runs her parents toy store. They share best friends and will always be in each other's lives. These said best friends have asked Brystol for a life long favor. To carry their child for them. This is where the twists and everything comes in. Gavin plays a big part of it of course and everything is just complicated. This story truly broke my heart for everyone and I think the shock factor in this will really break you. I am not going to go into detail because it truly needs to be experienced but I will say that emotions run high!!
