Root cellars and food storage rooms are wonderfully useful things. Not only can you store your fresh produce in a root cellar, you can also use these rooms for shelter in the event of certain kinds of disasters.
It’s always good to be prepared and, if you’re not looking for long-term food storage, but a place to keep your fresh fruits and vegetables, learning how to make your own root cellar can be a valuable tool.

Very good book I am going to build a storage room so I can expand it much easier then a root cellar and it is warmer in the winter and easier to plumb and wire and live in it if neededdnt

and I plan to build onto back of my garage l helped my dad and grampa build a fall out shelter during the cold war and I slept in it many times very comfortable besides unless you have a machine to dig that much dirt you will need lots of help
