In Submission, part 1-2 socialite and heiress Isabelle Ashcroft (step-sister to Keely from The Seduction) was rescued from a menacing situation by Scotsman, Cameron McCullough, Cam aka Master (COO of Ashcroft Industries and Keely’s right-hand man).

Isabelle is back in her Manhattan apartment with her adopted brother, Brent, who is holding something over her head. He's threatening to reveal her secret which could land her in jail. Cam is trying to find out what Brent has over Isabelle. He ends up stopping her from leaving the country by having all of her belongings brought to his penthouse.
When Isabelle finally gives in and reveals her secret to Cam, he promised to protect her, and she goes back to being his submissive again.
Finally they end up having sex, and I will admit, they were some of the steamiest scenes ever, and I DID NOT read this at work! LOL
I enjoyed this continuation of Isabelle and Cam's story but there were a couple of things that I wasn't too crazy about. The breath play scenes. I just don't find it sexy being choked during sex and if I were Isabelle, I would have knee'd Cam in the nuts! I think it took away from the sexiness for me. Also and I saw this in Eda's review, when Isabelle chooses to call him MASTER, he says "God I love it when you call me that." I wanted to hurl a little at this. He's supposed to be this Commanding Dom, but he sounds like a love sick puppy. I'm not viewing him as a strong alpha male when he talks like that.
This one ends with Isabelle in trouble. Cam failed in protecting her. I am hoping that in the next one, the Cam I fell for in books 1 & 2 makes a reappearance and the lovesick puppy is long gone.

It's been 10 days since Isabelle lied right into Cam's face and left him behind, going back to her prison, with her stepbrother Brent as the evil guardian. She terribly wants to call Cam, to tell him she didn't mean any of it, to beg him to not hate her for this. But she can't. Not when Brent knows her biggest secret. Her biggest sin...
Cam doesn't believe a word Isabelle uttered that day. He knows the real her now and is sure that b*stard Brent is blackmailing her for something. He is determined to do what he does best: take control. He is determined to find answers and take Isabelle back from that monster. Because she belongs to him now.
Staying with Cam has changed Isabelle. She is not the scared obedient woman she used to be around Brent. She will not become his pet this time! She will take some money from her trust-fund, buy herself a plane ticket and RUN! Building a new life from point zero is easy for her. She's done it once before, after all...
There's only one problem though. How will she be able to leave a part of her own heart back here? How will she be able to leave Cam?
THE PROBLEM WITH THIS BOOK: The incredibly amateur Dom/sub sex scenes! You want examples? Here you go...
1# // Right in the middle of a scene, Isabelle does this:
“Cam,” she cries, “Oh my God!”
Yeah. She talks to her Master by his real name. A REAL DOM WOULD SPANK THE SH*T OUTTA HER FOR THAT! You know what Cam does? NOTHING! He gets all excited and encourages her to "ride him"...
2# // At the same very unrealistic BDSM scene:
She moans, “Oh God, you’re so deep. Don’t stop!”
“Never,” I vow, thrusting up.
WOW. A Dom that allows his sub to ORDER him while they're inside the playroom. Just...wow.
Oh and at some point, this happens:
“F*ck me, Master!” she begs. “Do it harder! HARDER!”
You see, NOW Isabelle remembers that she's supposed to call him Master, but she is still ordering him. And of course, "Cam, the shittiest Dom ever"s ridiculous response is that "he loves when she calls him Master"!
I recommend the author to actually research an issue before trying to write an entire series about it. I mean...JEEZ, even I know more about this stuff...
OVERALL: I'll finish the rest of the books, because I have a weird obsession to finish every single book series I start. But this will be the last one I ever read by this author. Sorry.

Brent is holding a big secret over Isabelle and she leaves Cam but she is miserable. So is Cam but at least Cam has an idea that there's something going on...and he takes steps to make things right.
I'm kind of torn about these two. I like how the story is going but I'm not sure I'm really feeling their 'connection' or if there really is one...besides the Dom/sub that is. I just don't feel the love vibe! ;)
But maybe that will come...at least things are moving in the right direction. I liked that she opened up to Cam and that Cam is taking care of her. It was really sweet what he did with her things!
I think the new 'play' was different. Obviously, I've heard of this but this is the first time I've read it in a book. It was okay...I'm just not sure I got out of it what I was suppose to?
Of course, the book ends with the snake being back in the picture in a big way but we all knew that was coming. I'm looking forward to reading how everything works out.

It kicks off where Wild Submission stopped. Since Isabelle's step brother, Brent. forced her to get back to the hell whole. She's trying to flee, In any way possible from her worst past -- that Brent keeps blackmailing her with. In the meantime, Cam does not believe the harsh words that Isabelle said to him. and he knows that there is something Brent is holding on her. So.. Cam do what every Dom should do -- Bring back what belongs to him.
From the title of this book. you'll get the idea -- It's about surrender, trust. Isabelle dramatically changes (in a positive way). She feels more herself when she's around Cam. and little by little she reveals her darkest secrets to him... Part of being a good Dom (in my opinion) is taking the time to truly understand the depraved depths of a Submissive mind.
Although, Cam was not the most Dominant in this book. I mean, we all know by now, That, the Dom who calls the shots . in any situation. in this installment you'll see a quite soft side to Dom-Cam..
I could understand that it's all new to Isabelle. and maybe he's trying to go easy on her. But, after the breath-play scene. huh! No Way.
I really liked how it ended, and definitely looking forward to see what Cam will do..

In the third installment things are a bit rocky for Cam and Isabelle. Bastard Brent is controlling her by threatening to reveal her secrets, & she feels she is trapped, like her past is finally catching up with her. As a result of all the drama, Isabelle is scared, lying, & feels alone. She's trying to solve her problems on her own, & is shutting Cam out of her life. Cam is not liking she's keeping secrets from him, & he knows something is off, & refuses to give up on her. He takes matters into his own hands, & comes up with a plan to rescue her & get his woman back. I just loved how he fights for her. Once they are back together the sexy times continue & this couples chemistry & connection is intense.

-"You want me to dominate you, my darling, because that's the most alive you've ever felt before. And I can give it to you. I can give you what you need."

Well I finished this book quite faster than the others and I noticed a lot of BDSM scenes that were a little bit unrealistic but meh. I wasn't really into searching for mistakes but I noticed them.
On the other side the series plot keeps getting better and I know that when a book literally tells me not to stop reading. It's like the book is running after me yelling " READ ME! READ ME! NOWWW!!"
I recommend this series to everyone. It's hot and steamy and sexy and you already know my thoughts about this series despite all the mistakes I've found I still love this series and the author. ;)

Oh, for the love of…. ROXY SLOANE, you are killin’ me here!! These books are getting hotter and hotter, better and better. I devoured Total Submission without pause. Just an hour of straight, greedy reading, and when I hit the end…. Damn it, I wanted to keep going!!

Total Submission picks up a few days after the ending of Wild Submission and hell if I could stop myself turning page after page, knowing this wasn’t the final chapter, hoping to get a final answer to the puzzle that makes up Cam, Isabelle and their secrets.
This book was expertly paced – there is plenty going on, but not too much, too soon – and answers enough questions to engage, while asking several more to ensure that you’ll *come* back begging for more.
I loved Cam’s determination to protect and nurture Isabelle. Pretty sure that man could bring me to my knees without a second thought…. I’m cool with that, especially if it means I can have more Cam without waiting until the fourth and final installment in this sinful serial is released.

3 I just wish it were different stars!
We pick from Isabelle leaving Cameron in the previous book due to Brent blackmailing Isabelle with a secret... Now reading Total Submission Isabelle secret is reviled and I must say I'm quite disappointed because I was really hoping it would be a good one but sadly it was the same old same secret that I've read a million times before.
As the story goes on Cameron, Isabelle reunite, after the secret is reviled our sexy Dom promises Isabelle he will keep her safe no matter what... But life's not always rainbows and butterflies because Brent is back with back up too.
Can Cameron keep his promise to Isabelle? Well I guess i'll find out in the next book now.
Overall an okay read and I will continue with the series because I've come so far and i'd be damned if I call it quits now.

This book was another chapter in Cam and Isabelle's story. And Brent is still the same conniving awefull person that we got to know in the previous books
Cam continues to help Isabelle realize what a strong person she is and it seems that Isabelle is finally ready to believe in herself.
But then the awefull Brent strikes again.
And we finally find out what Isabelle's secret is. And it seems that the hard times is only starting now for Cam and Isabelle...

I think this went better than the last one, though, still not sure why this doesn't sound all as good as the previous books! Not even close. Definitely steamy, but that's about it..

Ok seriously, ALL of Roxy's books need to come with a warning that panties will be wet and she will leave you with wanting so, so, so much more... but in a totally good way!!! And I must say that Cam is my favorite Roxy man to date, knocking Vaughn down a peg (an impossible feat, eh?).
I loved this book! It is sweet, sexy, naughty, suspenseful, panty melting, and has one man that will make you swoon... HARD! One word: CAM. This book picks up where book two left and definitely leaves you wanting more answers. And the wait is short as the final installment releases soon!
This is the continuation of Cam and Isabelle's story. Cam wants Isabelle. He wants her total submission. He craves her trust He wants to bring her back and heal her. He will stop at nothing to make sure she is taken care of and protected. Isabelle is torn between Cam and her secrets. What will Isabelle do? Will she be able to break free of her past?
Cam and Isabelle..... perfect! These two were made for each other. Cam is so gentle yet dominant with her. And Isabelle is so sweet yet has her moments of strength. I love the push and pull between these two. And Cam... he is like a gentle Dominant giant. I love his protective nature and how he is with Isabelle. And Isabelle, god do I feel so sorry for her. She pulled at my heartstrings at times. I am rooting for these two hard!
I need the next installment ASAP! I need more Cam. *sigh*

I loved this book! It is sweet, sexy, naughty, suspenseful, panty melting, and has one man that will make you swoon... HARD! One word: CAM. This book picks up where book two left and definitely leaves you wanting more answers. And the wait is short as the final installment releases soon!
This is the continuation of Cam and Isabelle's story. Cam wants Isabelle. He wants her total submission. He craves her trust He wants to bring her back and heal her. He will stop at nothing to make sure she is taken care of and protected. Isabelle is torn between Cam and her secrets. What will Isabelle do? Will she be able to break free of her past?
Cam and Isabelle..... perfect! These two were made for each other. Cam is so gentle yet dominant with her. And Isabelle is so sweet yet has her moments of strength. I love the push and pull between these two. And Cam... he is like a gentle Dominant giant. I love his protective nature and how he is with Isabelle. And Isabelle, god do I feel so sorry for her. She pulled at my heartstrings at times. I am rooting for these two hard!
I need the next installment ASAP! I need more Cam. *sigh*

Holy hotness!! In book 1 & 2 Isabelle found her inner Goddess and demanded that Cam become her Dom, he reluctantly took her up on her offer and showed us all what it means to submit complete control and let some take care of your every need. In this series Roxy does a phenomenal job portraying what the true reasons are for a D/s relationship. That you submit because it pleases you to bring pleasure to your mate, and control does not equal abuse of that gift of total submission. Being in control as a Don means to love and chrish and care for your mate because it brings you pleasure to take care of them in all ways. Roxy shows us the deeper side of alpha men, and their domineering ways: beyond the sex and into the realms of emotional intimacy and the trust it takes to let someone take you higher than you've ever been! And in Total Submission, Cam doesn't ask he takes Isabelle back. She's running from her past, but Cam rescues her again. Brent won't just shut the fuck up and die already!!! When Wild Submission ended, Isabelle left Cam because of Brent's threats. Now Isabelle and Cam are both miserable. Cam doesn't believe the words that Isabelle said the night she left him. He can tell she was lying but he can't figure out what Brent could possibly have on her to make her leave him that way.
Isabelle is missing everything about Cam. She feels that her only choice is to run away again and start a new life somewhere new...hopefully in a place that Brent can never find her. But before she is able to leave, Cam comes for her and makes her see that he will protect her and take care of her at all costs. That is until Brent makes good on his threats.
I am so addicted to these characters and this story. I love how easy it was to get so wrapped up in Cam and Isabelle in such a short story. One thing that I really like is that Cam refuses to give up on Isabelle. He knows that she is something truly special for his life and he won't let her go.
My heart breaks for the life that Isabelle had to live with when she was younger. And her horrible secret, truly isn't so horrible once you understand the full story. But Brent just won't let her go and leave her alone. He is constantly causing trouble and I can't wait to dive into the next book, Perfect Submission, to see if Brent gets what he deserves.

Oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god!
that ending was the worst ending ever! I can't believe this Fucker Brent. I can't believe how can someone be this rotten inside. He did nothing throughout all of Isabelle's life other than make Isabelle miserable. Also I can't believe Isabelle tolerated him all those years and didn't see the real him and how such an asshole he was! that what angers me the most in the books. HOW CAN SHE BE THAT STUPID?!

I didn't like this one as much as the other two books. Mostly because of a certain BDSM scene that turned me off, even though the characters handled it well, like consenting adults. It's just a trigger for me personally. Also, I'm not sure how the ending cliffhanger makes sense. It seemed too fantastical for me. But I guess they needed something for the last book.
I still love Cam and Isabelle. He is so sweet to her and understanding. And she definitely opens up to him more in this book, which is nice development.

Awesome Read!
Cam and Isabella are meant to be together, they work so well with each other. You can really see the love Cam has for Isabella. Her adopted brother Brent is nothing but the devil in expensive clothing, the will get what he deserves in the in. I can't wait to see what happens in the next installment. I definitely recommend this book.

What a tool Brent is, I hope that karma bites him in the ass HARD. I'm sure that her society friends will turn against her except for Holly and they will find her innocent. Does she end up pregnant, there has been no talk of birth control. Time to find out how it wraps up.

V's Review: 4 STAR VIXEN Rating!
Noooooo WTH? Oh my freaking gosh......Roxy, did you really just do that to me!!?? I can't believe that just happened!! All of her books should come with a panty melting warning label!! Once I started reading this book, I didn't stop until the end. Cam and Isabelle's chemistry is off the charts, and if you know Roxy's writing you might want to be prepared. :-) <3
This book picks up right where the last one ended. In Total Submission we learn more about Isabelle's secrets that have her hostage to Brent (Ugh!! Brent is such a sleaze ball), and Cam figures out where he's lost control of the situations. We also finally get to see Cam and Isabelle finding some comfort in their relationship. But their comfort is short lived as an unexpected twist of events happen, that once again leaves Isabelle terrified and Cam fighting for control.

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of short stories, but once I started reading Roxy's stories I was hooked on her and always looking for the next one. I love how she has integrated the characters from the other series which makes reading each book comfortable as if I was visiting with old friends. I'd love to be in the company of Vaughn, Ash and Cam any day (OMG the fun I would have).
Roxy never disappoints! She is one of my must read authors as her series pack a lot of heat in a small package. Damn Roxy, you and your cliffhangers!! Have to wait till 2/2 now for the conclusion!

The Submission series by Roxy Sloane is the absolute PERFECT read for erotic romance readers everywhere. It's ridiculously sexy, passionate, and so suspenseful, you just never know what obstacle will come up next for these amazing characters.
A Dom who craves the ultimate connection with the woman he loves, and the woman who will do anything to keep her secrets safe, even if it will break both of their hearts. Cam and Isabelle's bond is getting stronger and stronger. Cam wants total control over the submissive he knows Isabelle can be. While she makes her plans to leave, he's busy moving her suitcases to his place and setting up her things in his "personal space", a place that has been off limits to Isabelle, unless Cam had invited her to be there. When she realizes it was him how moved her stuff she's furious, that is until she sees how he has set them up in his bedroom, like they belong there, like they are a couple.
Things heat up for Isabelle and Cam, she lets him go further than she's ever gone before with anyone, and feels completely safe. Things seem to be going so well for both Cameron and Isabelle but whilst all that is good, Brent still seems to think that he is funny by trying to control Isabelle by threatening to expose her secrets. With all that going on Isabelle honestly is scared because to her it's like everything that's been buried in the past is now being brought back into the present and she feels so alone in it all. So with that on her mind, for her the only option that she thinks she has is to listen to what Brent says so that he will keep quiet.
The one thing that I do admire about Isabelle is that she is trying her hardest to try and deal with her issues herself and even though she is afraid of any help she is shutting Cameron out of her life. I get what that's like as I've been like that myself for a while so I do understand the situation she's in however I feel bad for her because in a way she should just confide in him so that he can try his hardest to help her. However the only this is that Cameron is hating that she is fighting this alone and that she is keeping it all from him, he is determined to help in anyway that he can so he takes matters into his own hands.
Honestly you really don't want to be missing out on all the hot and sexiness that happens in this book so give it a try as you'll love it.

It is everything you could want in a book and is my favorite in the series so far. This book shows us another side of Cam. The loving, nurturing protector. He wants Isabelle to trust him with her secrets and fears. Isabelle is still torn between trusting him and protecting herself. She is afraid to rely on anyone else in this unforgiving world. Brent has yet again shown his true colors and everything Isabelle holds dear is threatened. In this book, Cam does everything he can to make sure that he is everything she needs. To make sure that he is a pillar of strength. She is his and his alone. He protects what is his.
There was no lull in this entire book. It was non stop till the end. Roxy is truly an amazing writer. No people can pull that off. If you do nothing else, BUY this book! You will sorely miss out if you don't!!!! #ISubmittedtoCamandlovedit
