Miranda Sings is an Internet character created in 2008 and portrayed by American comedian, actress, singer and YouTube personality Colleen Ballinger. Ballinger displays videos of the comically talentless, egotistical and quirky character on her YouTube channel under the username Miranda Sings. In these videos, the character sings and dances badly, gives inept "tutorials", recounts her daily activities, discusses current events that she often misunderstands, collaborates with other (often reluctant) YouTubers, and rants about her critics, reading examples of hate mail directed at the character on social media; she responds to them with her catchphrase: "Haters Back Off!".

I honestly don't think I can give this a star rating. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but it was nuts! This was basically a bunch of Miranda Sings videos in book form. If you're a fan of Miranda Sings like myself, you'll love this book. If you have no clue who Miranda Sings is, you'll be SO CONFUSED and weirded out by this book.

As far as books written by YouTubers go, this was actually pretty good! I'm not the hugest fan of Miranda- I can only take her in small increments- but I ADORE Colleen and this book has been on my mind since she announced it. I really enjoyed the bursts of humor in this book-- it was genuinely funny in some places and brought a smile to my face during my time of SUFFERING when I am hopelessly ill with a cold. I LOVED that every single page (or nearly so) was hand-made. I understand that Miranda is a character, but still some things she says like she doesn't approve of "lebanese" or "sluts" is sorta irking, but I know Colleen well enough to know it's just an act with Miranda. If you like Miranda/Colleen and you were unsure if you should pick up this book or not, it's not necessarily worth $22, but if you can grab it off bookoutlet or the library, it's a quick read that's worth the giggles and interactive activies/cut-outs!

Le doy cuatro estrellas no por el contenido en sí, sino por la edición en conjunto. Se nota que gran parte de las cosas han sido hechas a mano por Colleen, y luego escaneadas. No ha dejado su trabajo (ni su personaje) en manos de otras personas. Eso es, sin duda, algo que he agradecido muchísimo.

El libro está lleno del humor característico de Miranda. Es una obra de arte. Encaja perfectamente en su mundo y es tan real que se percibe que el personaje de Miranda es un ente con vida propia. Bravo por ti, Colleen, por mantenerlo tan vivo después de tantos años.

Soy muy fan de Miranda, y tras la serie de Netflix, no sabía qué esperar de este libro. Porque en la serie, aunque me encantó, el tono era ligeramente distinto. Pero Selp-Helf es su vuelta a los inicios, su personaje de YouTube al cien por cien.

Recomiendo este libro tan divertido a gente que conozca al personaje, a quien le guste aunque no sea fan. Puede ser extraño si lo lee alguien que desconozca su existencia, aunque seguro que hay pasajes donde se echarán unas risas. Yo, al menos, lo he pasado bastante bien.

I was always going to buy this book as I am a huge fan of Miranda/Colleen. However I was disappointed. I do understand that this is Miranda's book and not to be taken seriously at all, but I just felt like there wasn't much to it at all. I read it in under an hour because there was hardly anything on each page. I did like the fact that some pages had interactive barcodes to scan to watch videos, but to be honest the rest of it was a let down.
I'd love to see Colleen write a book as herself, not Miranda, as so much more could be done with it

Didn't read it back to back, just skimmed it mostly, read a few pages. It feels more like a magazine than a real book. I love Miranda Sings and her videos, but this book didn't feel truly like her. Don't really know why, it's seemed a bit over the top (which are also usually the videos that I don't like). Dunno. Think I won't be buying YouTuber books anymore.

This book made the days I read it a little brighter! I thought it was the most hilarious book I have ever read! I like to watching Miranda Sings once in a great while on YouTube for a hard laugh! I got some great tips from this book! I recommend this book to anyone who wants a nice laugh!

I'm not a fan of this YouTube character, but I can see how bits of the angry disposition and quirky nature/speech of this persona can be perceived as amusing. In small doses, heh. So I rented this book from the library out of curiosity.

I am definitely not in her demographic, but two things surprisingly amused me - using the plunger as a bowl on a stick & stapling ziploc bags to your pants as makeshift pockets - and the little boxy origami Miranda doll you can cut out and create is pretty nifty.

It's quite a lengthy offering, I wasn't expecting it to be so hefty, and you can tell a lot of work went into creating it, but it's wasted effort on mediocre substance.

The allusion to a pedophilic uncle (who Miranda apparently loves & doesn't realize is creepy) is a bit off-putting and questionable, especially given her demographic.

This book was absolutely amazing, it was really, one of the funniest books i have ever read. Ive heard of miranda sing, but I've never really gotten around to watching one of her videos or reading this book. Now that i have read this book i'm really glad i did, because it was a great book teaching some "life skill". I never noticed until after reading this book how interesting Miranda really is, the way that this book is put together and written is really good as if it would be for a toddler but when you read it some things aren't for toddler let me tell you now. I really do recommend this book to anyone, absolutely everybody.

I'm a big fan of Miranda sings and of course I needed to read her book and I read it and it's wasn't disappointed at all. This book was hilarious because she's trying to help us but all the things she wrote about helpful things are useless!
When I was reading this book, I read it out loud in a Miranda voice, which was fun to do. I love the games that were in the book because I loved solving them.
I gave this book a 4 stars because I really wanted to come out from this book at least with one useful thing but I didn't!
Oh yah did I mention this is my first you-tuber book? Because it is and I will definitely read more of you-tuber books!
I loved what was inside of the book because it was different then other books I read, which I always love!

Oh this book will be absolutely amazing I just know it. Miranda is such a big role model and will always teach you how to do things the right, non-porn way with no sins in your life so that god will accept you into heaven when you die. You should get it.

At first I just read it for a higher book count, but now it is actually very funny! This surprises me out come. At one point though it bother me how Miranda, the author, made a few pages about "Haters" which I found very odd on pages 134-137 in her book. I find it amazing how she doesn't care about what people think about her and how she continues to do what she loves. I think if more people do not care what people think then everyone will become their own person. This book changes my perspective a bit even if most of it was just to be funny. I think if you like funny and easy books then this book is right for you!

Tip of advice: read out loud and with fellow Mirfandas for full enjoyment level
