This is a BWWM Alpha Male Romance Andriano was used to getting whatever or whomever he wanted, and she was no exception. This is my first book by this author.
This is Simone & Andriano's story. Simone and Andriano fell in love and this was not meant to happen. Andriano has been lying and protecting Simone from who he really is and the responsibilities he has to his Mafia family.
I loved the story it was fast moving and had me on the edge of my seat. I really enjoyed the Mafia element in the story because I love Mafia love stories.
I am sad that the author did not make it into a complete story and now we have to wait for book 2 to find out what happens between Simone & Andriono.
I would highly recommend this book.

What a joke
This book was so unrealistic as it went on I was just disgusted.... So many contradictions with Simone's character it wasn't even funny... It just wasn't a good book.. When it ended on a cliffhanger like that just put icing on the cake for me.... And if this book really came out on April 20 I don't see how she has 295 five star reviews in less than 30 days unless it was published with another publisher before it came on Amazon and reviews came with it... I would not go by those five star reviews at all... Then she gets pregnant with triplets wow...I WILL NEVER EVER READ ANYTHING by this author again!!!!!!

I most definitely read a different book to everyone else based purely on the high rating this book got. This book frustrated the hell out of me and engaged me at the same time!!!!. yeh, I know - crazy but I wanted to know why everyone else loved this book.
Simone's character was frustrating for me, she says one thing and turns around and does the opposite. She is hard on her mother, claiming she moved away from her "overtly submissive mother", yet she displays the very same traits. I was finding it hard to like Simone as there where just too many contradictions to her character. She is a virgin, yet she does not come across as one. Her behavior was hard to understand considering she let Andriano touch her very intimately within a few hours of meeting him and seeing him all over someone else.
Andriano was someone I just never cared for, here is a guy who will be the next capo di tutti capi - boss of all bosses, yet he could not find Simone who was not even hiding from him!!!!!. There was nothing about him that appealed to me. I also did not understand why he called Victoria, Big Mouth Victoria when she was the only sane character in this entire book!
This book had so much potential to be a great read, the plot was good but for me the execution fell way short. Will I read part 2, sure.

There are unbelievable parts of this book. BUT, I couldn't put it down... waiting for book 2 is going to be hard.

Keep the momentum up by releasing next installment quickly
I gave 4 stars because this was a great storyline. I love to watch characters and their relationships develop. Although waiting on series releases is not my favorite I will commit to continuing this series. However, I hope it does not take months because I s ok sometimes forget about quick reads with cliffhangers. Would have given a 5 but sometimes the p.o.v changed from 1st person to 3rd . Please keep the momentum of Simone and her true love high by realeasing the next installment quickly.

Hot!!!!
Dayum Gina, that was hot. Like for the beginning this book was off the hooked. Like Simone is running from pain and trying to start anew life, but end up right at pains door. But what a rollercoaster ride it was.

I am UBER P&ssed about the type of cliffy that this book ended on, because it was simply that dang good! OMGoodness!!! Sweet Baby Jesus! I gotta hop to book 2 right now... I mean I was so engrossed in this story, I didn't even realize I was at the end of the book until I read those dreadful words.. To Be Continued.. I literally yelled out loud at my kindle. As if it was my Kindle's fault. Smh.

dayumm dayummm dayummmm where is my book 2. I usually don't like characters with the name Simone however Simone Sinn is so loved and appreciated... She loves Andriano with all her heart but is not foolish enough to stay with him with all the chaos surrounding him. Andriano love Simone but not enough to let go of his prior responsibilities or does he love her so much that he should let go because of all situations that is surrounding him. I loved this story for some many reason but mainly because of Simone being a strong women and not letting her circumstances to dictate her outcome!

Although I loved this captivating tale of caramel/spicy vanilla mafia love, I did have an issue with a few area's of stilted dialogue, some pornalicious overkill, and an unnecessary characteror two. Other than that, I absolutely loved it.
Before I sign off, please be warned, there's a cliffhanger that just might annoy the crap out of you..
Other than that, this is a 3 star book with 5 star potential.

Loved It!
When naive Simone Sinn moves to New York for college her mind was only on becoming a doctor and never returning to he mother and step-fathers house,but on her 1st night in the city her new roommate takes her out and she catches the eye of sexy man and her life will never be the same. Adriano Balducci is a man use to getting what he wants and does not care who is hurt in the process so when the soon to be "boss of all bosses" sets his sights on Simone she doesn't stand a chance. When the two fall in love Simone is on cloud nine but Andriano has been lying to his Bella Mia about his life and when it all comes to head he will have to break her heart and his own.
This book was amazing from start to finish. Simone and Andriano where so hot I thought my kindle would melt! I loved everything about this book, the plot, the way it was written, the characters it had everything I love . What a good sexy hot read and the ending had me just about going crazy looking for the next book (it's not out yet) great job with this one I hope the next one is this good.

Dipping Into Sin is a novel bursting with promise yet falls short due to characterization, plot and editing issues. This novel would shine with a little more polishing. The writing was lyrical but at times too descriptive (I know, and I love writers free with visuals) which sometimes made the narrative difficult to read or comprehend, or repetitive. Overall, the characters hold potential but Simone gives in too quickly to Andriano's demands, and I felt she was often played for a fool. I could use her age as an excuse but this girl would sometimes go 'street' so there was a worldliness ingrained in her from life experiences. It's a story with great potential but I felt that the author used sex to carry the weight of the lovers' connection and it moved too fast. I think I wanted more emotional ties and it just felt like lust go out of control. Physical attraction is not enough to carry me over to read the next book, and there are too many areas that felt cliched. This author put her heart into this novel but sadly, it was a press for me to give it three stars.

Warn a person with book numbers if it has no ending!
Kind of pissy because I read a lot of books and I don't like reading those with cliff hangers until all editions are available. This story was about a sweet black lady in his first year of college and her roommate introduced her to riffraff, she got mixed up with a mafia syndicate, she has no idea what she got her self into and I'm afraid of how things will turn out. Especially since the man she loved said repediately he couldn't bring a black woman home to meet the family. I think he was selfish and an ass and I hope he meet his demise in book 2.

This is Simone & Adriano's story. He is a mob boss and well-connected and very dangerous she is a young College freshman from out of town. on her own for the first time. Right from the beginning sparks fly between them fast furious however he knows better he knows he should leave her alone in fact he even talks himself into believing he's not in love with her. He tells himself it's just sex. She's blissfully unaware of what he does to make money. But all actions have consequences. I highly recommend this book. And I give this book 5 stars!! Great job DJ Parker!

Solid start to a new series. Andriano actually had the gall to keep his loyalty to his family and marry Josephine but he wanted the woman he suppose to love (Simone) to have an abortion. Really! I'm glad Simone had enough self respect to walk away and handle her business. Looking forward to see how Andriano handles things when he finds out she didn't abort. I can just imagine Josephine's reaction.

A Thrilling Read- BRAB ONLINE BOOK CLUB
Adrianno and Simone's story is one helluva ride. It was such an exciting read that I could not put it down until I was finished. This is my first time reading this author's work but it won't be the last.
Even though it's a story of innocent young girl meeting rich mafia boss, it is so much more thanks to the author's ability to pen a wonderful, erotic romance. I hope we won't have to wait too long for the conclusion.

This book should be 10 ⭐️'s !! Omg,I stayed up untill 3 am reading this book!!! You can feel the love that Simone & Andriano have for one another leaping through the pages!! I promise you,once you start this book you don't want to put it down until the end.. **No Spoilers**, you have to read it for yourself. I hope that part 2 comes out tomorrow, I can't wait to read it!!

A few technical writing hiccups but super addicting
I was starting to give up on this genre, but I must say this is a really good storyline. Yes, there are a few execution problems, but the adventure is there, and the sex is hot. Also, I liked the heroine a lot. She's definitely no wimpy, whiny, wuss. I'm excited to read part 2.

Ends Abruptly
Previously read in May of 2015. For some reason decided to re-read the book Even though I remembered nothing about the characters or the plot. I certainly didn't remember that the book ended with a cliffhanger.
Simone is a beautiful, intelligent young lady who earned a scholarship to a college in New York. Her roommate is Victoria who treats Simone like a sister. While clubbing with Victoria, Simone meets Andriano. Victoria 's father worked for the mafia and she knew that Andriano is being groomed to take over his family. She warned Simone against getting involved with him. Simone falls for Andriano and they become involved with each other for several months. They break up because it's time for him to marry and assume his role as head of his family. He thinks Simone had an abortion because of him and decided to let her go. Simone goes to North Carolina and lives with her grandmother who is very supportive and encouraging. She and Victoria remain very close. Victoria visits her in North Carolina several times.
Five years later, Victoria 's father is murdered and Simone returns to New York to be with her. Andriano sees Simone and decided he still wants her. She refuses to have sex with him and returns home. He decided he will be with her by any means necessary. Even though the book was a cliffhanger, it ends abruptly. Very little character development. As usual in most interracial romances, the sex is over the top. I will read the second book only because I have it. Hopefully there will be more plot and character development with a HEA. I'm not counting on it and probably won't read anything else by this author.

Andriano Balducci's use to having 1,2,3,4 or more girls at his beck and call. Living by a strict Mafia code and with an arranged marriage in the to Josephine (the girlfriend) in the works. It's when he's introduced to Simone that the balance and rules helped to modify his life begin to unravel.

But then her roommate/best friend Victoria talks her into celebrating a night out on the town. Placing her in unfamiliar and unsettling situations she's not sure she can control. My First time reading this author, will not be my last. Andriano and Simone are from different sides of the track from the other. He is Mafia, she from a blended family. However, the attraction is on fire. He loves her and finds himself not being himself because of her. Simone is drawn to him but later finds out he was never hers.
Andriano is committed to his family's life but knows Simone is his cryptonite. She makes a decision to leave him and all they have. His fiance then wife hates Simone.
Simone tries to give her family the life they deserve even if all her dreams are not realized. This is a cliffhanger and I await the sequel. Great book..

An overdone story
When can some one write a realistic and humanistic plot of an interracial romance.
And the language is disgusting for any age. If I wanted to read a Biology book on human sexuality, it wouldn't be this pathetic simile.
Come on writers of BWWM, we can do better!

Absolutely speechless
There are no words to truly describe how great this book is. I love how everything happened over time instead of a one to two months time line. I'm invested into these characters, and I love how Victoria and her family accepted Simone instantly. I couldn't put it down until I was through. I can't wait to read the rest.

Awesome read. This is my first book by the author, but I am certain it will not be the last. This book is written well, great story line, excellent character interaction with the bad boy background. I loved it and highly recommend this read.
