Imagine a world where every day people co-exsisted with witches and vampire. Of course rules and such are in place for the protection of all...... and of course with that comes those who think they don't have to follow those rules, and always there are rogue individuals or even groups that simply won't.
Nadine and her husband Rick live in such a world. They live in a nice nieghborhood, in a nice house (left to Nadine) and they are happy. Well, Rick is happy. Nadine, not so much anymore. She misses the man she fell in love with and wonders what the future has in store for her.... That question is about to become moot as the answer knocks on her door. She finds a vampire,......an exstremely handsome vampire, but a vampire none the less.... who is acting for all the world like he should be there. Nadine's world comes crashing down around her head when, upon seeing the blank look on her face, he explains, his name is Baxter. He owns a club. A club that Rick has lost a lot of money in. He said she would pay his dept with her blood! Nadine has to go each night to feed Baxter until the debt is paid in full..... But then Rick does it again and this vampire, Phoenix is nothing like Baxter. In fact, these two have a history. One that did not end well for Baxter, and Phoenix now see's a way to do it again by using Nadine and Baxter's feelings for her......I am not telling any more of the story. What I will say is that there is so much more going on here and I do recommend this to adults that enjoy their vamps on the darker but erotic side.. .I enjoyed meeting the large cast of well developed characters, they came across as true to life. A few of them actually surprised me by doing the unexpected. I was gifted this copy in return for my honest review

This is a story of love and loss and love again, maybe? Nadine's life changes drastically, will she embrace it or run from it. This story kept me on edge of my seat, needing to know what will happen next. I fell in love with the characters in this book. I hope there will be more of Nadine and Baxter. Kudos to the author for such a great story!

Nadine and Rick were married. They had their ups and downs like normal couples but something was missing for Nadine. But she was taught to fight for her marriage no matter the situation. Rick had a gambling problem. He had debt he couldn’t pay and used Nadine as a blood debt. Nadine was supposed to feed Baxter nightly to fulfill the debt.
Baxter is a tall, dark, and sexy vampire who owns the club where Rick has racked up the debt. He feels a connection to Nadine. Baxter’s maker Penn and his mistress Ola come for a visit. Ola takes a liking to Nadine. So in order to keep her safe Baxter releases her from the debt. But not before he has one final taste. Ricks gambling addiction takes him to another club which belongs to Baxter’s rival Phoenix and takes a gamble with Nadine’s life again. This time Baxter can’t look away.
What an amazing book. The story had great flow, the characters were very well developed. There is action, love, mystery, and some hot and steamy sex. You will definitely want to check this book out. Great job Sam!!!!

Nadine's husband, Rick is addicted to gambling so much that he has made her a blood debt to a vampire named Baxter. For his gambling debt to Baxter, owner of Diomeds a bar with a back room poker game, Rick has gambled Nadine for a month to feed Baxter every night. Nadine starts to have feelings for Baxter that she tries to fight because he is a vampire and she is married. Baxter has feelings for Nadine but also thinks it best not to act on them because she is human. When Rick gambles Nadine for another blood debt to a rival casino owner, Phoenix, Baxter will do anything to get her back. This is full of love, suspense, intrigue and some hot sex! You'll love it!

To start of with I didn't like Baxter but as the story went on I grew a soft spot for him. There seems to be more to the story and this world. This seems like a very good version of vampires coming out and how some try to live in our world and others who feel they are above humans.

Well much to Nadine's shock she really doesn't know the depths to which her husband addiction has taken things.
She shows up at the casino and meets none other than the vampire Baxter who owns the place. The only problem now is what does he want with her? Rick did not give specifics evidentally?
We get a sexy vampire who takes a debt owed and twists it to his own needs. But is that wrong? Well we just have to see what Nadine thinks.
I enjoyed this book and was happy to see the author back writing Paranormal!!

Nadine is upset with her husband and doesn't know how to feel about the vampire Baxter. She just wants to get the debt paid and get back to normal.
Baxter is a tall, dark and handsome vampire who runs a bar with gambling in the back room.
I could not put this book down. The story is well developed and I felt every emotion. I laughed out loud, cried and got angry at some of the characters. I love this authors books and think that this is one of the best books that I have read. You will not be disappointed with buying this book.

Like all her books Blood Debt Bound is an extremely emotional book, even when dealing with vampires and witches. The two main characters Bax and Nadine are rich in emotion and take you on a rollercoaster ride.
Sammie J has the ability to make you love or hate her characters but for all the right reasons. Definitely worth your time and money.

First from Sammie J and I really enjoyed the storyline between Nadine and Baxter read in a few hours didn't want to but it down looking forward to more reads.

Her life wasn't what she had always dreamed of, she was sinking and fast, her husband was not the same and wasn't sure if love would last. He latest betrayal has pushed her into a world she knew about but didn't want to get involved in. However as time passed, things started to change, she started to change.
Would she be able to survive and get what she wants for a change?
He knew it was wrong, he knew he could never have her, he had lived for eternity he knew the rules but broke them anyway.
When an old enemy stirs the life he knows, things turn deadly, can he have the life he wants too?
This is a short read and the first one I have read by this author.
I have to say I love supernatural romances, especially Vampires. I love the fact in this book that humans and the supernatural live side by side after the supernatural coming out to the world.
I love the main characters, she is broken, unloved, lost. He is alpha, strong, immortal. However they both want what they shouldn't
This has a real mix of good Vs evil and for such a short book it is well written and doesn't disturb the flow of the story.
I hope to read more from this author as this first outing has been superb.

An Interesting Vampire story
Paranormal seem to be a safe and entertaining bet for Sammie J. This book is no different. Her previous vampire tale had a 3 person POV through out and even though I don't usually mind it the POV really just did go over what the previous character did in the chapter before. This story was different it did take 2 POVs but the same scenes weren't regurgitated over again making the book too long. It's a shorter read than I expected, but it would have been a bit dry had it not been short. I did enjoy the story but I admit I did skip over some paragraphs to cut to the chase, so to speak. I downloaded this free through KU so I wasn't out the $$. It's a good story and I got a bit of a crush on Baxter, I have a feeling there's more to him than what's been written.

A completely brilliant read that hooked me in from the first page. The story was completely refreshing, so different from anything else that I've read recently. The plot line is clever, the interesting debt repayment was intriguing and the introduction of Baxter riveting. Sammie J has a gift, her stories are always so compelling and this book was no exception, from the desolation of Nadine to the passion of Baxter I was transfixed.
I don't want to give away any spoilers but I will say if you like vampire stories, this one is a cracker.

Must read!!
This story grabs you by the balls from the get go, it's addictive, fast paced, exciting..... Charging forth with the emotions of a casino. Well written, the main characters are everything you could want and then some.
I would have liked more in the back story of Baxter and Phoenix..... It felt a little cut short on the details, in saying that it didn't detour from the story at all.
