4 "How far would you go to protect the ones you love" stars

well, it's been a while since I have read book 1 in Mob Boss Trilogy and I was quite surprised how I got into the book without any difficulties in keeping up with the following...

I just switched and got attuned towards Angel and Nico's story as if I hadn't been away...

And it looked just like that for them, too...

Angel and Nico got detached since the final rundown in book 1 that ended with Nico killing Angel's father, the Rossi family's crime boss, who was also responsible for the elimination of Nico's parents.
Even though Angel didn't know about her father's business, she realized that her life was a lie, and yet she felt the sting of another loss...
She stayed away from Nico...and he let her go, and yet they both longed for each other, not being abale to keep quiet the passionate fire that burned within them both.

So when the danger comes close to Nico and his ranks, Angel is the first one who come running back to him, casting the final defence around her heart, she stands beside him offering him the connections and protection her love can provide...
"How far would you go to protect the ones you love?"

As far as possible...to the end of the world, to Hell and back...just to keep him safe...
"I have to keep you safe, Angel. I have to."

They indulge the passion, the second chance as a blessing and a curse, cause danger is lingering above them and as the massive betrayals dig a hole around them to fall into and keep them both burried...they risk everything they have including their lives to save what matters the most...
How far would you go to avenge the ones you love?
As far as it took.

And then you have the ending...now that is a shitty ending, right there...
I wasn't expecting that...
and I am kinda pissed...LOL

this was a fast paced action/passion driven story and I simply read it in one gulp, sort of speak.
loved the characters, especially how Angel grew from "clueless innocent" stand by from book 1 towards the "badass" who will deal with the clean up!

must see what happens in the final installment!

I love this series. I cannot wait for the next installment. Nico and Angel have found there way back to one another, and while they are working out their relationship they are also trying to save David from Dante who will stop at nothing to gain control of Nico's hold on New York. We are left with a cliffhanger and while at times these bother me, I didn't mind at all because it makes this serirs work. These books are well written and I can visualize the characters and the events so clearly. I cannot wait for more from this amazing author.

Ok I was annoyed by this book due to h and her immature behavior. Understanding that her being involved was only endangering the life of her brother's and others by wanting to be in the middle of everything. This author showed h's character as if her brother was a little kid and it was her responsibility to take care of him (ughhh). Also the inconsistency with Nico's age earlier said he was 30 yrs old, however yr of death cleary saying his date of demise was at age 29. Although I didn't expect the outcome to happen the way it did, but now I'm looking forward to reading the next and final book to see what happens.

DISCLAIMER TO MY FELLOW GOODREADER
This review is my personal opinion and may contain: spoilers, quotes, rants, cussing (sometimes I cannot help myself) and a possible full on recap. I in no way want to ruin anyone’s book reading experience so please read my words with caution.

It has been 6 months since 24 year old Angelica "Angel" Bondesan (Rossi) was kidnapped by 30 year old Nico Vitale, boss of the Vitale New York crime family, and had her world turned upside down. She and her brother David have been dealing with the aftermath of losing their father. A father who happened to be the boss of the Rossi Boston crime family (which he kept from them) and a ruthless killer. Now they have mass amounts of money, legal and illegal businesses and properties scattered around the globe to handle. Angel and Nico parted ways after he killed her father. Angel could not figure out if he did it to avenge his parents or to save her, either way he killed her father.

Nico Vitale took a risk all those months ago by kidnapping Angelica "Angel" Bondesan. She was supposed to be a pawn in his revenge scheme. In two short weeks, he fell in love with Angel. Something he did not expect. Then the worst possible scenario happened. Angel's father, the man responsible for killing his parents, put a gun to her head. Nico did not even hesitate to kill him. Was it for his parents or his Angel? The answer did not matter because he lost his woman. Now threats from all sides are closing in on Nico. Angel comes back to him, but he learned to live or rather function without her.

OMG !!!

Fearless the second book in the mob boss series was if its even possible better than the first, I fell in love with Nico more, his ability to treat his Angel like she'd hung the moon and go above and beyond for her so beautiful, Angel I'm glad she's realised that the things we do for knows we love know no bounds , now the ending I'm hoping to god is not quite as it seems as if it is I'm gutted, that's all I'm going to say as I don't want to spoil it for anyone else, I'm very eager for the next installment now can't wait.

Omg!!! I can not believe the ending of this second book... I was so shocked that Nico Vitale was killed in the end... I know I just spoiled it for you and I’m sorry but I had no idea that it was going to end that way... Nico was being ridicule by the Syndicate and some of the other Families because he wanted things to be different. He wanted to stop all the killing, drug running, sex trafficking, and child porn that was going on in the families and the Syndicate...

Some of the younger crowd of the new generation was for it.. but the older ones and even some of the ones that were his age group was not on board... But what they were holding over his head was that he took Angelica Bondesan aka Rossi to force her father to give up something... but then after she feel for him it all got a little messy.

It ended up that Nico had to kill her father in order to save her and to get his men out alive, but it also mean that Angel hated him for it... and of course in the end she went back to Nico after she seen it was for the best. But it took Dante Santoro mutiny with several of the Syndicate and other family members that wanted to see him ruling the New York territory. But that mean that he would have to take it away from Nico...

I’m not going to ruin the rest of the story for you cause it’s a great read and it’s not over with.. there is a third book Lawless and I’m dying to see what Angelica is going to do to avenge Nico’s death... her man, and lover... 🤗🤗 can’t wait..

Okay, So I love this one more than the last but there are things that do not add up. I will save my final judgement for the last book, but here is what I found off.

When Dante asked Angel to meet at a place in LA, why did nobody question that he knew she was close by. Did they just assume that he was told by the LA syndicate? Or was there something else afoot?

Second, why mention that the guy who shot Nico from behind had arsenal from Lock's supply but then never killed him outright or even Angel and David for that matter.

For now I am going to assume that Niero is behind this and he is puppeteering this whole thing till the outcome is what he wants.

Cannot wait for more.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - Mob Boss #2

My heart was beating and on edge throughout the entire book and now I’m desperate for more, I felt with this book they gave us more action/thriller intensity that I LOVED and so badly needed, this series is incredible and I’m still reeling from the ending that left my heart ripped up and torn on the page.
Im proud of the way Angel went from being fearful and unsure to being the strong badass she was inside and what initially attracted Nico to her was the fire that lit inside her and oh baby it’s back. I’ll be on my way to Lawless, thanks again for another amazing sequel

Just like with the first book, I enjoyed that Nico isn't your typical mafia boss. He has a vision to change the face of their old violent ways. That isn't going over to well with the other families, they want to keep the violent hard core dealings. So Nico is put in a position now to protect his new found love, Angel and her brother, who up until recently had no idea they even belonged to a mafia family. This take a dangerous and deadly turn and tragedy strikes. I really like the story and characters, looking forward to the third and final book to see how it all turns out. The audio narrators did a great job on it all.

A Thrilling Journey of Love and Danger

Fearless by Michelle St. James is a gripping mix of romance and suspense that I couldn’t put down. Nico Vitale, a dangerous mob boss, and Angel Rossi, a strong-willed woman, have an intense chemistry that pulls you in from the start. The fast-paced plot, filled with twists and cliffhangers, kept me hooked, especially as the stakes got higher.

The emotional weight hits hardest toward the end, making the conclusion both intense and satisfying. I can’t wait to dive into the final chapter of their story.

Ciąg dalszy opowieści o Nico i Angel.

A tangle of love and hate

In this second book, Angel and nico are trying to live their lives apart but soon find they can't keep the evilness of the syndicate at bay. Dante continues to terrorize Angel, drawing her and nicos family into a battle for territory. This book ends with Angel left with a path for vengeance for the people wronged in her life and I can't wait to see her do it.

Another great read

So, book 2 ends with another cliffhanger...grr.

I really enjoyed this one, seeing Angel's strength and Nico's all consuming passion for her.
Not enjoying what the last 2 chapters held, and am unsure moving forward to book 3, how this series will wrap up.

Please read the books in order to get the most from this well written series.

On to book 3...

The twists and turns in this book have been entertaining to say the least. I have laughed, cried and not been able to put this second book down. Now I get to read the third and final part to the story I only hope it is as good as the first and second books.

At first I wasn't liking the 1st book and how it was written, but I loved the concept of the story. The 2nd book was written much better and took me less time to read. It felt like it took me a year to read the 1st book. I'm starting book 3 now and it's already off to a great start!!!
