5 stars!!!!

And the story went on from where we were left in Book two! There is a prologue that confused me even more and still I couldn't find who the UNSUB was. The plot is so nicely written that I couldn't stop changing my mind again and again! Ms. Wolfe writes beautifully and I cannot praise her enough! Everything in this series was so well-thought and I totally enjoyed it! There were small seeds of information here and there, but believe me when I say that it wasn’t possible to complete the puzzle! This series was really an erotic thriller with focus on the thriller side! The story is still said by three POV's like in the previous books and more questions are answered.

Sadie is full of surprises! I really love this girl! It’s not her capacity as a behavioral profiler that is great, it’s her strength to deal with everything that happens around her.

Colton has become the protector in his way and I love him for this. Once the mystery is gone from him, it’s so easy to accept him as he is.

UNSUB is a sick bastard! I won’t say anything else….I think that’s sufficient!

The interactions among the heroes were fantastic! There was mystery, tension, suspense, love and lust!

The end of the book found me unprepared but made me really happy! I was a bit disappointed during the last chapters and I couldn’t believe how everything worked out until the very last piece of the puzzle appeared! Just for that reason, I totally give 5 full stars in this series!

I definitely recommend this series to everyone who loves a good, chilly, erotic thriller with focus on the thriller side!

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the most difficult review I have had to write all year - so far. Why? Because this book was amazing. And I'm having a hard time conveying its incredibleness without spoiling everything that happens in the book.

I opened this one up to start reading and couldn't stop. I had to, I had dinner plans, but when I had time again I picked up right where I left off. I stayed up until almost four o' clock in the morning to finish this book because I just had to know what happened. I had been waiting so long, now that I had the book I wasn't about to wait anymore. Throughout this book, Sadie and the rest are racing against the clock to save the UNSUB's next potential victim. The ticking clock had me metaphorically on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Colton and Sadie still had that breathtaking chemistry between them that, yes, took my breath away. I love reading about them together and how accepting they are of one another. Their chemistry completely sizzles when they're together and I love reading about it. I have to admit I loved how protective Colton felt toward her, too. I equally loved that she could take care of herself.

The multiple Points of View is something that I really love about this series. We are able to get into Sadie, Colton and the UNSUB's heads. Every POV was fascinating, even when it was rather terrifying at the same time, I couldn't stop reading. Even the scary or creepy parts had this element of almost an eerie beauty to them.

We have been wondering who the UNSUB is since the beginning of book one. I read every book carefully, looked for clues, cues, anything to help me figure it out. When the answer finally came, I didn't expect it. At all. Then I was mad at myself for not figuring it out sooner.

The ending... that's what really blew me away. It's so hard not to give it away. It gave me chills up my spine and made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. It was an absolutely mind blowing ending. It has been a long time since I've read a mind blowing ending. And oh boy, did this one do it well. I finished this two days ago and the ending is something I've still thought about many times throughout the days. I loved it. It scared me a bit, it blew me way, blew my mind and I loved it. I hope that I've done this book (and the whole series) justice. It is incredible. When I reviewed book two I said that I was fairly confident that this series would become one of my favorites. And I was absolutely right. It is a new favorite of mine. Incredible. I can't say it enough.

I'm going to miss reading abut these characters so much now that this is over. I read it fast so I could find the answers that I wanted but I'm not sure that I'm ready to let these characters go. 5 quills (5 stars) to this book and to the whole series.

I must admit that however much I liked this series, I was slightly disappointed by the finale. It felt anticlimatic for me! It was too simple after so many hints that made me hope for a much more complicated and interesting conclusion. But, instead it came out as a simple sick man satisfying his sick desires...

But the way toward that conclusion was so inetersting!

The relationship building between Sadie and Colton went well beyong the BDSM relationship that was given to us in the first book. Still I had the feeling that Colton was obsessed by Sadie and that was kind of compulsive behaviour IMHO...

So, for the final book, it was an interesting read and therefore merits fully the 4 stars!

Holy Smokes! This was a riveting and stunning conclusion to With Visions of Red. Ms. Wolfe kept me guessing until the very end and I can honestly say I'd have never guessed that ending was coming.

This installment picks up the story where we left off - Sadie and her team are in a race against the clock to save one of their own. And the UNSUB's identity is still a mystery.

Ms. Wolfe did such an incredible job of throwing out clues but keeping me off track. The suspense was intense and I truly enjoyed the psychological elements. It was a chilling thing to get inside a serial killer's head - and not a little scary being inside Sadie's at times.

The BDSM element was essentially non-existent, only referenced in this final installment. Sadie and Colton's romance taking a backseat to the profiling and investigation.

I must say I'm very impressed with Ms. Wolfe's writing skills. She took on some weighty subjects in this series and she did so in a very satisfying manner.

F-I-N-A-L-L-Y, now we know who UNSUB! Do we find out right away? Nooooo, sorry. The author makes you wait on this one. And like the last book, I suspected every male, except Colton. Yes, I felt confident enough with the new information that he was innocent. But don't tell that to Chief Jackass Carson. Grrrr!

We learn a lot more about Sadie, and it truly came as a surprise. She's not the tortured girl I expected to be. I always thought she was two steps behind the UNSUB, and while she never guessed who it could be, she had the presence of mind to do what she needed to save her friend and give her some peace.

Now, when the UNSUB is revealed, I checked my list and he was on it. So yay for me! But I didn't get the satisfaction I wanted from that discovery. It all felt a bit deflating. And then the author throws in a last minute twist that changed everything. Seriously, WOW! I bumped up my rating a whole 1/2 star (4 stars to 4.5 stars) just from that ending. HOLY FUCK! Great end to this series. And Sadie joins my list of badass females.

this is more like a 2.5 star rating but alas goodreads still does not do half stars. i found the reveal of the killer to be sooo blahhhh. i was just not into it at all. i also still did not love the romance - i don't mind the characters together as i do think they have chemistry, but their bond is just so rushed?? i still enjoyed the writing and i will continue the series but this conclusion to the arc was lame.

Who is the UNSUB?

That’s the #1 question you ask yourself since the first book. Throw in a Shibari expert who will stop at nothing to protect and save his Goddess, a woman who’s past links her closer to this killer and his victims and one psychotic sadistic creep who thinks the world looks better painted red and you have yourself a guide to becoming mind-fucked.
Don’t try and guess, it won’t work. If you like Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, all those detective shows, then this is a read for you. There is BDSM thrown in the mix which took me back to Lisa Renee Jones’ Inside Out Series with all the suspense and mystery but just a whole lot grittier and bloody.

Multiple POV’s which was a lot of fun and crazy when you get to read the UNSUB’s parts. All I kept thinking was this person needs Jesus. Badly.

I heard from the author herself that other characters are also getting a story. Yes I recommend this series and hell to the yes I’m reading the next one.

Happy Readings!

5 Delishously Dark and Deviant Stars!!!

Who is the UNSUB? This is *The Question* that has plagued every reader since we were first introduced to Sadie, Colton and the UNSUB in book one. Personally, I have had my finger pointed at nearly every character at one point or another. Book 2 ended with the mother of all cliffhangers that gave me panic attacks every time I thought about it. After months of suffering, I couldn't have been more ready to get the answer!

I went into this book determined to figure out who the UNSUB was prior to the eventual reveal. I took notes, highlighted passages, pin pointed clues and reread paragraphs and entire chapters. The outcome? Well, it's a good thing I never considered a career as a detective. I failed miserably.

Trisha has expertly crafted a plot so devious that she had me staring directly at the clues as she ever so subtly redirected my attention else where. Sneaky b*!ch! I guess, steamy sex scenes and a hot Shibari rigger also served an ulterior purpose. ;) I never saw what is now so obvious which attests to the amazing talent this author possesses.

Prepare to be immersed into a world steeping with secrets, suspicion and pain! A world where the answers you seek will not be found in the light. If you want them, you need to be willing enter the darkness. A world so completely twisted that only the true master will survive!

This book has me seriously concerned for Trisha Wolfe's sanity. Normal people don't think like this!

I can't wipe the smile off my face. What a phenomenal ending to this trilogy! I literally have goose bumps right now! I'll leave the rest of my review here once it goes live on the blog. :)

UPDATE: (From the blog.)

Trisha Wolfe is amazing at writing suspense. You just can't stop reading! But I don't want to spoil ANY of this final installment for you. All I have to say, is you definitely will not see this ending coming. So just sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride.

P.S. I hope there is a spin-off. :)

I had no clue who the UNSUB was, and I don't think I could have guessed it.
Which made me mad because I wasn't even close! LOL

I loved Colton and Sadie's relationship. They were like Yin and Yang.

"Look at me. Not them, Don't be afraid of who you really are, goddess. We play by different rules. Always above them, because we embrace our dark deeds. Never denying ourselves. Not anymore."
- Colton

I was obsessed with this series, it was addicting, sexy, and had me on the edge of my seat. This was a great conclusion to the series.

One last quote before I end this review.

"I'm not ashamed that I serve her, Worship her. If you think you're insulting me, you're wrong, I'll always obey her orders."

Colton I will would obey her orders too.

OMG OMG OMG
The Broken Bonds series is a tense, edge-of-your-seat thriller with a side of kink. Trish always amazes me with how she weaves the title of the books she writes so poignantly into the narrative while being able to give it multiple meanings. It took all of my strength not to flick to the back of book 3 to uncover the UNSUB and confirm the multiple theories I had.

Told in first person narrative from Sadie, Colton and the UNSUB’s perspectives gave the plot an unsuspecting edge. While making a deep connection to the characters, it was also slightly disturbing to enter the mind of a psychopath. Trish delves into the traits that make a psychopath providing clear understanding to the workings of what can only be described as a disturbed mind. I found myself continually guessing who could be the UNSUB and more than that willing it not to be specific characters.

Past events within the main characters lives are revealed within the plot of the three books piece by piece adding to the tension. Not only aiding character development and the progression of the relationships within the story, the revelations provided food for thought covering the oft debated issue of nature versus nurture. How much is the human condition made up of traits they are born with and how much is shaped by our life experiences. Trish has crafted this story so ingeniously you can’t help but be blown away with specific revelations making you re-evaluate your stance on certain issues

So... It turns out I had no clue at all?! All my theories were wrong! The only thing I was right about was Colton and Sadie, and how they continued to turn up the heat and intensity in their relationship. Their trust in one another was put to the test, which added fuel to the fire.

The ending was mind blowing and as I said before... I had no clue! Never saw it coming at all. There were so many twists and turns, it literally had me thinking and guessing "who done it" the whole time. I love a book that draws you in and consumes your thoughts, even when you aren't reading it.

It was great to experience this story from the multiple POVs of Sadie, Colton and the UNSUB. It provided a deeper connection to the characters and just added to the story in such a huge way.

I really don't want to say much more than this, I'd hate to ruin the Colton and Sadie experience for anyone. So I will say that I absolutely loved this whole series and I've become such a huge fan of Trisha Wolfe's. In my opinion, if you are looking for a dark, erotic and suspenseful romance... Look no further

What a journey this series has been. The search for a killer finally comes to a conclusion and in the fashion of how this author has written this series it is not done in an orthodox way.

There is nothing more sweeter as a reader to not know the journey I am about to take when starting a book. This series took you places you never expected to go, blew your mind a time or two and if you have the tendency to side more on the twisted side of thinking this ended will satisfy all your cravings.

Bravo to a great series!!

This is the conclusion to a dark and twisted journey into the mind of a serial killer and the police officers that are trying to catch him. As more victims are found it is clear that things are escalating and when one of their own is taken it hits too close to home. Now criminal profiler, Sadie Bonds, is in a race against the clock to set aside her own fears and darkness and find the killer.

Ah, I am so glad I decided to re-read/listen to these books. I had forgotten so much! Trisha Wolfe is a dark romance/erotica suspenseful thriller write of no comparison!

I'm going to re-visit her entire catalog of dark romance, and then move on to the audio versions of the Hollow's Row books that are currently out.

But this one, Colton and Sadie might be my favorite duo from TW ever. There were so many twists, turns, surprises, etc here, it was hard to keep track! But the chemistry between those two was like no other.

On to The Ties That Bind, before I get back to Hollow's Row!

“I was no longer envy; I was ecstasy. Ecstasy, I had tasted it. Desire, I had felt it. Obsession…I was obsession. Obsession would rule me until I was strong enough to own this marvelous creature.”

Who is the UNSUB? That is the question that we have been wondering from the very beginning of this series. And now, finally, our questions will be answered. Trisha Wolfe has really outdone herself with this final book in the broken bonds series. She has spent a web filled with mystery, intrigue and twists you don’t see coming. Trisha Wolfe has literally and completely blown my mind.

Book 3 picks up right where Book 2 left off. The UNSUB has made contact and the stakes are higher than ever before. Sadie has to discover who the UNSUB is before it’s too late. The stage is set for the final scene and everyone is a suspect……

There is not much I can say because I don’t want to give any of the plot away. Here’s what I can say: Get ready. You will be taken for one crazy ride. Forget what you think you know and be prepared to have your mind blown. It’s been a few days since I’ve finished this book and I’m still in awe. This book is dark. It’s twisted. It’s sexy. It’s intense. It’s not for the faint of heart. You will be on the edge of your seat, filtering through the intricate mystery that Trisha Wolfe has created. You will be trying desperately to solve the mystery of just who exactly the UNSUB is. And even when the identity is revealed, there is still one more surprise in store for readers.

Book 3 in the Broken Bonds series has more than exceeded my expectations. Trisha Wolfe has given me everything I could have asked for and more in this final book. I loved every second of Sadie’s story. I loved watching it unfold and seeing all the puzzle pieces click into place. Trisha Wolfe took such a risk when she decided to write this story and I have to say this story, this series has blown me away. It has taken me on a journey, on a ride that I never expected. And I was left with one satisfying ending. Yes, in the end, I had one of those almost creepy smiles on my face. Read it, you will understand what I am talking about. As I close up this review, I will leave you with this, it’s one of my favorite quotes from this series and I think it really sums up this series perfectly……“The point of this story, the moral, is that we can plan for life, make endless preparations, have everything fall into place….and then boom! We’re rocked. Our very foundation is tested. What we choose to do after the fact defines us.”
