I was so glad to read book 2 in this series. I loved book 1 “ Unscripted” because it had some much heart, drama and emotion packed into one book—now book 2 is a continuation of the series and it picks up pretty much where book 1 left off.
Ronan is working on finding that guy who hurt Holliday but is doing it behind her back so she won’t be hurt. Ronan and Holliday are on vacation in Cabo and she has a horrible nightmare related to the attack. We read that Ronan is doing research on the internet to help his love because he wants to do what he can to make her feel safe and to secure with him. There is other swoon worthy things that Ronan and Holliday do on their vacation before they return back to the States but they have a layover in LA to see his daughters at his ex-wife daughters. That was an experience in itself. His ex-wife is a trip and she made Holliday feel extremely bad, which was her intention.
Now Ronan and Holliday go back to NYC and they move in together. But there are bumps in the road. There are bumps and then there are HUGE BOULDERS that come crashing down to cause bumps in their relationship. The nightmare that was there in Holliday’s past comes back and also the trust that Holliday had for Ronan was broken. There are twists and turns in this story that make this duology my favorite story. I love the MC and Ronan is my new book boyfriend. The places, the supporting characters make this a great story. What I enjoyed about this final story in the duology is watching Holliday overcoming what happened to her in the past and realizing she had a right to happiness. Holliday is one sassy, sweet and lovely woman who embraced her happiness; Ronan is a alpha male who didn’t apologize, didn’t give excuses for being who he is and he took what he wanted but when it came to Holliday, all he wanted was her happiness , He was such an alpha male and that was what made him such an Irish hunk. This book is wonderful and I would love to see a book about Charlotte. As I said before, I will say again—there is a story there about her and it really needs to be told. Her and her husband sound like they have this story and I would totally be interested in reading “their” story. As for Ronan and Holliday, you cant go wrong, this is a fantastic love story that you will read and re-read over and over again. There is so much emotions in this story but by the end, you will be sad its over.

My rating: 5.0 stars *****

Perfectly Scripted is HOT! HOT! HOT! One particular scene... okay not one like all of them - Where can I find my own Ronan Connolly??

Talk about a book that was worth the wait. Wow! Perfectly Scripted picks up right where Unscriptedleaves off and it feels like no time has passed. This sequel shows just how much Ronan and Holliday have grown as a couple and continue to develop a deep love for one another. It was the "perfect" ending to their story.

I loved the writing, the descriptions and the flow of the story. New characters are introduced, so that leaves me feeling Ms. Pastore has a new series coming up perhaps? Please say that Tinley is getting her own book?!! She was a great friend to Holliday, and I really loved the advice she gave her when she needed it most.

Holliday is one brave, strong woman and I loved how hard she worked to become stronger and let go of her past insecurities. Ronan's unconditional love for her was amazing. Although, he did pull a bonehead move... thankfully it gets resolved quickly. Again, these two characters actually "Talk" to each other which makes the story so relatable and a breath of fresh air!

Please do yourself a favor and read The Scripted Series!!

**JOSIE'S REVIEW**

I had the opportunity to read the first book, Unscripted in the Scripted Series and I enjoyed it. I have to say that I really enjoyed this one a lot more. Perfectly Scripted is the conclusion of Ronan and Holliday’s very romantic, steamy and suspenseful story. I am really happy with the route the author took in ending this series. I really felt like the ending suited the couple. Just as in the first book, the story is told in alternating POV’s and getting into these two characters minds is something you are not going to want to miss.

Perfectly Scripted shows just how much Ronan and Holliday have matured in their lives and in their love. In this book we see just how much Holliday’s attacked has affected Ronan. His possessiveness and need to protect Holliday has risen to an all-time high. Ronan is willing to do just about anything to keep her past from digging it’s clutches into Holliday again. Holliday has suffered tremendously but from her suffering we see a new side to her character. She is stronger, wiser and is no longer willing to be the VICTIM.

Ronan is devoted to Holliday. He is patient, understanding and focused on all her needs. Being in the Hollywood spotlight throws their relationship into the limelight. Ronan wants to protect her from all the evils in the tabloids, the rumors the gossip and most importantly his past conquests. Holliday tries to understand Ronan’s position and stands by her man despite several misunderstandings. But when Holliday learns or lack of Ronan’s plans, she is left with more questions than answers. Holliday questions if she can fully trust him while continues to keep things from her. Ronan and Holliday will both need to search deep within their souls to get past the current obstacle in their relationship. I loved how the author shows the depth of love the two characters share, their commitment to that love and just how much they are willing to fight for that love. Can Roan and Holliday finally get their HEA? Give this series a shot. You are going to want to read this very heartening and emotional journey.

Holding my breath, holding, holding and exhale. That was tense but fantastic. I just didn't know how far this Author was going to go. I was on the edge of my seat a few times while reading.

When I read the first book in this series 'Unscripted', I fell in love with the characters, Holliday and Ronan so I've been patiently awaiting this next installment.

This story picks up where book one left off, I fell straight back into the story like I had just read it. It's so easy to love these characters. Holliday is sweet but feisty, she's had an awful lot to deal with. Things happened to her that are unimaginable but she's strong. Ronan knows everything there is to know about Holliday and all he wants to do is help her, while loving her completely.

Ronan is every woman's fantasy, the man is serious hot, loves with great passion and a mega movie star but very grounded. He's a great dad to his daughters. I adore this man, shame he only has eyes for Holliday.
Holliday and Ronan are building a life together, they both have commitments with their careers so things are pretty busy for them but the darkness of Holliday's past seems to be lurking just around the corner. Ronan is desperate to keep her safe and hires a bodyguard but everyone needs a day off, right? GULP!! You ever heard the theme tune to Jaws the movie? To say my heart rate was up is an understatement.

Ronan has an ex, Heather, who is also his co star in his latest movie. I really don't like this woman, I mean okay she is messed up clearly but she's sly and her personality could use a serious revamp. There is always someone around to try and ruin your happiness.

This story is filled with romance and passion that just melts your heart and just enough drama to keep it beating wildly. This book left me smiling blissfully.

Great wrap up to the series! I felt like Ronan and Holliday's relationship was more real in this one. We had a good dose of insta-love done right in the first one and then their relationship became so much more in Perfectly Scripted.

Ronan and Holliday worked through many obstacles and it was nice to see them conquer together. I really adored both of them.

The climax of the story hit me with so many feels. I knew the character was making the right decision for themselves but it still gutted me. I felt extremely torn and was pleased when the situation was worked out rather quickly while still maintaining the right amount of growth for each character.

It was nice that some plot points were left for you to fill in the blanks, but every other end was tied up. I really enjoyed the ending. It was the best way for Ronan and Holliday to say goodbye!

After reading book one, I was torn between delighting in the plunge or being terrified and wondering what the future could hold for Hollywood's golden couple. I mean, they barely knew each other, and there were so many outside forces working to make their lives difficult…

Past lovers coming forward to complicate the relationship, with false allegations, flirtations, and misunderstandings. These secondary characters grew so much in book two, making you want to love/hate them even more. Then there were the demons from Holliday's past. This was no overblown unnecessary drama. This was a real, living, breathing devil of a man who deserved nothing less than what he had given. Times ten. I really have to admit, I wanted to watch Roman squish him under his heel like the parasite he was. The healing of the relationship with Roman's ex-wife was also a really nice touch. She became someone you could begrudgingly admire, as she learned to make decisions based on what was best for her family, and those that mattered to her.

Perfectly Scripted was no less steamy than book one, and felt even more so considering how emotionally invested I became in Roman and Holliday. Despite fighting against the hustle and bustle of their high profile lives, they just felt so right together. Watching them navigate an overly complicated relationship in that world was exhausting and inspiring all in one. I found this book to be just as addictive as the first, and if it's any indication of her other works, I will definitely know not to start a book by Christy Pastore unless I have either hours to read or nowhere to be the next day. Definitely a satisfying conclusion to this series! ~ George, 4 stars

Love, Love, FULL ON LOVE THIS FREAKING BOOK!!!! My one & only complaint is that I had to wait for a year for this sequel to come out. And that is not a slight to the author that's really all about my impatience as a reader. I will say this though, I am so happy that Christy Pastore did not rush to get the follow up to Unscripted out because the end to Ronan and Holliday's story could not have been more perfect. I was really curious to see how Ronan and Holliday's relationship would progress, especially since they both had their own special brand of baggage, and they were such a new couple I wanted to see how they navigated through it all. Christy did not disappoint. Not only was she able to make it believable and realistic, but she also managed to avoid all the typical cliches you sometimes see in this genre. She relied more on the strength of Ronan and Holliday's love for one another to tell the story, rather than adding a bunch of unnecessary drama that does nothing for their story as whole. The end result was me pretty much BEGGING that they get their happily ever.

Perfectly Scripted made me feel all happy and giddy and girlie. But also made my heart pound at some points, made me kind of want to cry and also throw my kindle at the wall. All the makings of a great story!
PS---I soooo can not WAIT for Grady's story. OH and Ella's.

Let Love Lead You!
Perfectly Scripted is book 2 in the Scripted Duet. I was anxious to read the conclusion to Holliday and Ronan's love story and Ms. Pastore did not disappoint me. She quickly resolved the issue that threatened to separate Holliday and Ronan, which I truly appreciated. There was no drawn out drama. This couple decided to communicate, trust, and leap. They worked to control the narrative in the media. They reveled in their time together and their bond continued to grow. However, Ronan was quietly keeping an eye on Holliday's attacker. He was determined to keep her safe. Holliday understood Ronan's need to protect her and agreed to have a bodyguard. As love flourished between Holliday and Ronan, fear needled its way into Holliday's psyche. She fought hard to put the fear behind her. That fear was tested, when the past showed himself. Holliday is a survivor! With a bit of help from Ronan she defeats her demons. Yet, her confidence is shaken a bit. She doesn't want Ronan to suffer due to her past mistakes. Once again, she tries to sacrifice her happiness to protect Ronan. During their time apart Holliday realizes that love is rare and happiness is worth fighting for. Ronan has never stopped hoping that Holliday would find her way back to him. He gives her space, but she is never far from his heart. These two come together ready to take on the world. Their journey is hard fought and forged with love. The trust they find within themselves adds to the trust they have in one another. Their love story is filled with hope, heart, and triumph! Perfectly Scripted is a well written, heartwarming tale of life and love.

I enjoyed the conclusion of Holliday and Ronan's story.

It was interesting. There were a couple of times I was not totally sure if I believed in the characters and their actions, but overall I enjoyed the title and was happy with the conclusion of the duet.

I enjoyed the world building, and the exploration of the issues faced by Holliday and Ronan while they were figuring out how to navigate their relationship, and how to deal with the paparazzi and the interest of others in their relationship.

Most of the tension of the story revolves around this, and I think I wanted more of the interplay with the characters internally, and not based on external events and other people. That said, I still enjoyed the story and watching them figure out how to merge 2 lives that were very different, and with very different expectations of their lives in the future.

I had not read the title previously, so I am not able to speak to anything that may be different than the original version.

I did enjoy this overall, and I recommend this title (however, it is not a standalone, so should be read following the first title in the duet.)

This part of the story starts with a very vivid flashback to the trauma that Holliday endured from her past. It gives an understanding look at the things she had overcome to get her to the decisions that were made in the end of Unscripted (book 1). Ronan continued to show his understanding and hopes for communication in supporting Holliday through that trauma and in life. Ronan and Holliday also continue working as a couple on those lines of communication until another incident occurs that derails all of their hard work. There were moments in this part of their story that I was screaming at the book "just put those big girl panties on Holliday and do the right thing" and "Ronan, do not stand for that!" Overall, as I said at the end of Unscripted I LOVED this origin look at a couple that I knew would get their happily ever after. Christy Pastore also ramped up that sexy steam level in this one, I mean Unscripted was hot but this one was FIRE!!

This specific video review will be included in the January 2019 wrap-up.

The book 2 of The Scripted duet. This is Not a Standalone. Read Unscripted before this.

This was HOT. It was filled with so much love and passion. 🔥

We got to know what happened to Holliday in her past and it's total horror but she is strong and overcomes it. Ronan knows about everything there is to know about the past and wants to help her, protect her.

Ronan even though a movie star was so grounded. I just melted seeing him with his kids EVERY DAMN TIME. He adored them💛.

Both Holliday and Ronan spent so much time together and there are so many steamy moments. But past always catch up.

I liked how author wrapped everything up- keeping me at the edge of the seat but not making me scream with tension 😂.

Thank you so much to the author and foreword pr for providing me the ARC in exchange for an honest review

When I finished reading Unscripted last year, I had a feeling Ronan and Holliday's story wasn't quite finished yet. Thankfully, all the loose ends were wrapped up in Perfectly Scripted. I really feel like the Roman and Holliday I read about in this book were different, lighter versions then the ones I initially met. It must have been because they found each other.

The relationship between Ronan and Holliday developed quickly and even they expressed a consternation at how quickly they'd fallen for each other and become a part of the other's life, so I couldn't fault them for that. I also liked how much more secure Holliday was when it came to Ronan and his past as well as being around female co-workers. I also liked how protective of Holliday Ronan was. There was very little he wasn't willing to do to keep her safe.

I'm very glad Holliday was able to close the chapter on a dark time in her life. I will admit to wanting to see the person responsible for her pain and trauma to pay even more dearly than he did. The book is very hot. I mean it really seemed like Ronan and Holliday were getting intimate almost every other scene. I also enjoyed the scenes with Ronan and his daughters. I liked seeing Ronan deal better with the drama that came with having an extended and blended family.

Christy Pastore did a wonderful job at wrapping up Holliday and Ronan's story. There's passion, romance, angst, and even some action. It was a quick read because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Fans of Ronan and Holliday will be very satisfied with the conclusion to their story.

*I received an ARC for my honest review*

First off, I have been dying for this book. Yes I said dying, and yes I get it, I'm being dramatic, but hey I read the first one and loved it so naturally I wanted, no scratch that needed the second book.

How do you make a relationship work when your boyfriend is a world famous Actor, with the paparazzi watching your every move, and a crazy ex girlfriend who still has feelings for your boyfriend? Oh did I fail to mention a past of your own that you desperately don't want coming back into your life?

Perfectly Scripted was an awesome read for me. I loved the writing, the characters, and it helps that I love the Author. The storyline was great. I didn't want to put it down, because I needed to keep reading and feeling Ronan and Holliday's love.

Um let's not forget that Ronan is a sexy as hell Irishman. Ladies lets let that sink in for a minute. His need and want to keep Holliday safe is so hot.

Holliday is a strong, brave woman and I felt her character really developed through both books.

Lastly, hey Ronan if things don't work out with Holliday call me ;)

I was excited to read book one Unscripted, so when I had the chance to read bk 2 Perfectly Scripted I was honored. we start where we left off in book 1 with great characters, great sex and chemistry, action. Ronan is on the hunt to find who hurt Holiday but being secret about might not be smart. with taking thier relationship to the next level they live together and Ronan alpha gets worse but who cares I absolutely love these characters.

Another breathtaking, descriptive novel by my friend and fabulous author, Christy Pastour!!!! Captivating me and keeping me hooked from the beginning. I absolutely love Ronan and Holliday. The descriptions in her writing make me feel like I am there and that is what I love about reading, the escape she gives with the details.

If only every couple had the passion and love that Ronan and Holliday share.

This two book series was so enjoyable. I couldn't have pictured a better way to pull everything together to end book two in the way that Christy did.

The epilogue was easily one of my favorite parts. I love the warm and fuzzies I feel now after finishing it.

I enjoyed the continuation of Ronan and Holliday's romance. What I liked best was how solid their relationship was. The author doesn't overburden us with angst over some tabloid story or paparazzi picture. Instead, we get relationship development between the main characters. Yes, there's a little bit of Hollywood drama sprinkled in, but none of that ultimately affects Ronan and Holliday.

In Perfectly Scripted, Holliday starts off having decided to fight for their relationship, rather than to run away as she did at the end of Unscripted. The conclusion of The Scripted Duet is even stronger than the first installment, with the two having a more solid connection, and deciding to stay together. Their pasts are laid bare to each other, and they fall even deeper than before. I love how perfectly matched they are, but how strong individually they are, too. In the first part of their story, Holliday shone and stood out for me. Here in Perfectly Scripted, Ronan was the star in my eyes. His sexy but vulnerable alpha mode was in full affect and the way he loved Holliday and watched out for and took care of her, all while acknowledging, and loving, how strong she was, was swoon worthy!

Perfectly Scripted starts off right where Unscripted ended which was an excellent way to begin this highly anticipated final book in the duet. Ronan and Holliday are moving forward in their relationship while still facing certain obstacles. Ms. Pastore gives us a more intimate look at Holliday’s past and my heart absolutely shattered for her. Her character has so much strength and her courage is inspiring. This book is full of emotional turmoil, angst and their relationship is definitely tested throughout the book. Ronan and Holliday are still burning up the pages with their passionate and scorching sexy times. Along with that, you will find their connection has grown more deeper and stronger. Their love is genuine and cannot be denied. In my opinion, this was the best part of Perfectly Scripted and really took their story to another level.

From beginning to end, Perfectly Unscripted was everything I wanted and so much more. The conclusion to this duet was beautifully written and I highly recommend reading it.

Well after the update of Unscripted I'm so damn happy about the update of Perfectly Scripted too!
The story of Holliday and Ronan continues with the same flow from Unscripted!
It catched me right from the first sentence and I really really enjoyed every moment of their relationship!
Holliday and Ronan have to deal with a lot of ups and downs - it's just wonderful to experience it with them!
And the connection I felt to them in Unscripted  still remained.
Ooooh I'm so happy that I got the chance to read it and fall in love all over again!
You'll definitely know what I mean when you'll read the Scripted Duet!
Awwww and I've to tell you something:

Again I could not put this book down. I pretty much sat most of today just reading it. Wonderful characters and story line. Lots of heart and emotion. I loved Ronin and Holliday. Even when she thought she was protecting him by leaving. All it did was hurt them both. I understood her reasoning but at least she finally came to her senses. I’m glad everything worked out in the end and look forward to reading more by this author.

Ronan Connolly!

Ronan and Holliday continue their relationship while dealing with exs, the paparazzi and the threats of Holliday's past. When Holliday's worst fears come true she must decide whether she will run or stay and fight for her HEA.

This is the second book of this duet and I absolutely loved it!

***STEAMY, SWEET & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN***
Christy is one of my favorites and is alway she one of my GO-TO Authors. I enjoyed Ronan and Holliday’s story. If you haven’t read any of Christy’s books, start with this and go straight to the Harbor Series. Christy Pastore sure does write a good story book romance. I absolutely loved The Scripted Duet. I read the Harbor Series, and it was like jumping right back into that world. Christy always draws me in with her fun sexy characters. I love that this story had a heavy topic. It could be a difficult topic for some but I think books have the power to heal the soul and if I was going through something like that I would like to know I wasn’t alone. I would like to see a happy ending and know that anything is possible. I feel like this book could do just that for someone. This book could be healing and have meaning. That’s why we read books, to connect to a story, characters and have it changes us somehow. I love the banter between the characters. I feel like the two books worked well as a duet, which I am not a huge fan of duets. Just give me a big book I can read in one sitting, stop wasting my time. I LOVED THAT IS WAS RELEASED AS A SET!
I personally do not read duets right away because they are never released together. I am like nope. I will wait. I will not even attempt to read a duet unless both books are out.

Where do I begin???

We all fell in love with Ronan, the Irishman in Unscripted. Who wouldn't love a man as romantic, desirable, and attentive as him?

Holliday...she is one lucky woman. She is brave. She is beautiful. She had a lot of baggage coming into her relationship with Ronan. Having been in a not so savory past relationship that ended with her being raped and beaten.

Ronan is the hero who wants to save his woman from her past. He researches how to help rape victims, and familiarizes himself with triggers. He goes out of his way to train, and try to catch the bastard, in turn avenging his woman. Who wouldn't fall in love with a man who'd go through those lengths???

Around chapter 22-23....I'm bawling my eyes out!!!! How can this happen?! Not to Ronan and Holliday!!! So I can't put the book down, I'm immersed in this love story now!!!

I totally wanted the whole proposal story...I EXPECT a short novella or something about that weekend! You're left wondering if that ring burned a hole into Ronan's pocket after all, or did his romantic weekend away to celebrate their yearly anniversary go as planned? I'm going to lie in wait for this story...HINT HINT! There will never be enough of Ronan and Holliday.

Derek Saunders...you piece of crap! I need to know how he found out her name, and what happened when he got out of jail??? Did anyone ever link Holliday to Derek???

Amazing writing skills once again by the lovely Christy Pastore! She melted my heart and sizzled my panties all in one love story. Her words suck you into the story, and make you yearn for more and more details. She gives a detailed story, yet has you reading between the lines looking for a spinoff or new storyline. Brilliant!

First sentence: For the third day in a row, I woke up to the sound of pouring rain.

PERFECTLY SCRIPTED is the second and final book in The Scripted Series by Christy Pastore. I really enjoyed the first book, Unscripted, and couldn’t wait to continue Ronan and Holliday’s story. These books do need to be read in order.

STRONGER RELATIONSHIP

I mentioned in my review of Unscripted that the relationship between Holliday and Ronan was on the instant side, but that they had taken the time to really get to know each other and form a relationship. We see more of that in PERFECTLY SCRIPTED. They have a lot of obstacles in their way to happiness, but they try not to let those things affect their relationship. But, of course, things don’t always stay perfect and some things do threaten to tear them apart.

THE WRITING FLOWS WONDERFULLY

Perfectly Scripted is a fast paced book and is suspenseful and has quite a few sexy times. Christy did a good job with describing things and I could imagine how everything looked. I also liked Holliday and Ronan more during this book and thought that there was more character development this time around. I did, however, think that some scenes dragged on a bit at times.

Conclusion:

PERFECTLY SCRIPTED is a fantastic conclusion to Holliday and Ronan’s story. I loved seeing how much each character grew, especially Holliday. She overcame a lot and is trying to move on with her life. I loved how Rona cared for her and tried to help her in every way that he could. Their story was filled with intensity and passion.

Recommended To:

Fans of UnScripted. Also, readers who love romances with one of the main characters being an actress or actor.

Perfectly Scripted was beautifully developed and wrapped up the entire series... well... perfectly. :)

The story picks up right where Unscripted left off, and it was just as intense and hot right out of the gate! This book gives us so much more, you see the deeper development of Ronan and Holliday's relationship. How they balance their work, family life, and rumors - which I love that this wasn't your typical oh so famous story where their was an evil manager, or jealously of rumors in the tabloids they actually talked to one another instead of overreacting to stupid cliched drama.

Holliday really came into her own in this book, and I think a lot of that had to do with Ronan and how he cared, loved and supported her. Truly a loving relationship. Ronan had some hurdles to jump in this one, we got to see more of his backstory and how he became the person he is today - wonderful father, intelligent businessman, friend, and loving partner. Even the secondary characters were beautifully developed, I see some spin-offs in the future.

I loved the suspense elements in this book and there was ONE part in particular where I was holding my breath because I was't quite sure where the author was going to take the story. BUT it was done right and the characters stayed true to their nature. I LOVED IT! Not all fights have to be solved with fists - wits are much better.

Highly recommended for those are looking for a steamy romance, that's full of passion and a bit of suspense.

Ronan the hot Irish hunk hooked me once again! I was anxious to see where this story was going to take me, I will say that Ronan and Holliday are one very strong and loyal couple. One honestly can't help but enjoy the bond, strength and love they have for each other.

In this installment we get to meet the "evil" ex-wife. That woman will have you feeling as if you need to jump into the book and claw her eyeballs out. Ugh!!!!! She's too damn much!!!! Hated her, for a bit. I enjoyed where Christy took Emma's story.

In this book we also get a bit more details on the devil himself, Derek Saunders aka Holliday's ex. Brace yourself for intense and suspenseful scenes.

The author captures the struggles of Holliday and calls attention to them and how she copes with the attack. Ronan's approach to her struggles is heartwarming and helps us see how a man will do anything and everything for the woman he loves.

This book is definitely one worth reading. Good luck with Ronan he will sweep you off your feet.

Christy, thank you so much for a book worth reading with a strong story line and characters.

Book 2 of the Scripted series. This is a continuation of book1, and the ending of the series.
Ronan and Holliday are living together and in love. They have gone on vacation to Cabo. While the there she had another night terror dream about her assault. When she wakes she finds that Ronan has been researching how to help her articles on the internet. They have a photo shoot on a yacht to help draw attention away from the fight with Grady. They have one last night then it's time to return to New York, via LA to see Ronan's daughters and then back to New York.
They have moved into the new home together.
There is a breach of trust and Holliday leaves and won't answer/respond to Ronans texts.
Christie Pastore you have given us another great book with a story that is an awesome read again. I will be rereading these books again and again. You have become another favorite author of mine.
