I'm fairly on top of my hundreds of daily emails, yet was still looking for some tips to become increasingly efficient. I was disappointed that there wasn't much that I can use. In fact, some of the tips I've tried in the past and found unworkable. As an example, my job moves so fast that transferring items to a 2do list rather than using the flagging, tasks, or color coding within most current email software just so I can have an empty email box doesn't work for me. It's just far faster to mark an urgent item and clear it once resolved rather than lose it on a 2do sheet. Out of sight means out of mind when it comes to hiding emails so they aren't in my inbox.
