A pleasant read, as usual. A few typos here and there, but the story is growing in strength for me. The new developments are interesting, and make the larger plot less constricted imho. Havingto snuk around hiding your nature all the time can get old, so I welcomed the direction things are taking. A couple of different threads now open up, which raise the number of possible directions the MC could go in, enriching the story even further. The labyrinth is still there, always fun to explore. The growth and exploration theme, and especially the focus on building up the duchy and the fort were fun to read about. Looking forward to the next book.
Struggling with the series .. good premise, enjoyable characters .. but awful prose, terrible spelling and grammar, and way too overpriced for what you get .. definitely not sure if i am going to continue reading any new ones in the series ..
