When Lily Howard agrees to meet the man she is having a powerfully erotic online affair with, she subsequently walks into a crime scene. Sexy police officer Seth Jones takes her into witness protection together with her online lover, Adrian Walsh, a man with crucial evidence for a court case. Deep in the heart of the Welsh countryside and locked up in a secluded hideaway with these two men — one alpha dominant policeman, and a wry, sensitive accountant who knows her every secret erotic desire — Lily soon becomes embroiled in a torrid ménage a trois that surpasses her every fantasy. Lily is wildly empowered by living her innermost desires in the safety of the hideaway. Adrian is the key that unlocks her sexuality, and Seth is the master who sets them both free. As danger stalks ever closer and the three lovers are torn apart, they each find that deep emotional bonds have also been forged. Can Lily ever forget what they shared? Does she even want to?

Her Witches of Scotland series was widely translated and became a Scandinavian bestseller. In 2015 she became a USA TODAY bestselling author. It's been an amazing journey! Saskia is now a full time author and she has many more stories to tell.
Saskia lives in the north of England, on the beautiful, windswept landscape of the Yorkshire moors, with her real life hero, Mark. Mark supports her work through all its ups and downs, and manages to keep her sane and grounded when fiction threatens to take over.
Just so you all know, the 5 stars are simply for the sex. The story didn't interest me much, but holy crap the sex was hot. (And so were the men she was doing it with.) Whew!
I've also read The Harlot by the same author. It's probably not a fair comparison, as that one is a historical and is also a full length novel (I think), but I enjoyed the story of that one much more. (It was just as hot, though.)
Warning: m/f/m, extremely explicit and includes a seriously hot 3-way. No m/m though, but if the book had been any longer that probably would have happened too. ;D
Inescapable is a captivating, easy to read menage romance that has a touch of suspense. Lily, Seth and Adrian are very likable characters in this well written read. There is plenty of development in their relationship along with no shortage of heat. This is a very enjoyable and interesting menage romance.
Inescapable by Saskia Walker C, inferno, no kink, menage, contemp, 214 pages
Lily and Adrian have been chatting online for a while now. Hot, steamy, torrid chats. They've decided it's time they met in person. But when Lily knocks on Adrian's office door, she's met by Seth (although she thinks it's Adrian at first). Seth is trying to convince Adrian to go into witness protection. When someone makes an attempt on Adrian's life, Lily sees them, and soon Seth is dragging both Adrian and Lily away to save their lives. The 3 of them end up together in an isolated house with lots of time on their hands and just their lusty feelings to keep them company.
The premise for this one drew me in immediately. Not being a huge suspense fan (even though I can't seem to stay away from them), I'm happy to report that the suspense was not a huge part of this book, more just an excuse for the 3 of them to be alone together. And when the suspense finally comes to its conclusion, it is not a long drawn out thing. It happens and it's over rather quickly.
The relationship between Lily and Seth and Adrian is, of course, sudden. We're talking little to no conversations between the three of them about actually having a threesome. It's more of a "well, as long as we're all in the same room" feeling to the whole situation. Yet the emotions that develop seem very realistic.
I was really enjoying this one until Seth made a rather, in my opinion, idiotic move as a witness protection agent. And everything after that just started to make me mad. I struggled to get past how stupid he had been in that situation, when I saw other obvious options that were more logical but never crossed his mind. By the time I reached the end, I was just starting to forgive him.
If you like steamy menage with a touch of suspense (and you can overlook a stupid move by one of the heroes) give this one a shot.
Sometimes I continue reading a bad book because the sex scenes are scorchingly hot, and sometimes a book is just bad and I keep on going out of loalty to my purse, even though the ebook only cost 75 cents. Needless to say, I don't always undestand myself *g*.
I have read a couple of Saskia Walker's book in my past and truly enjoyed them, but I can easily say that Inescapable will be one of my worst reads this month.
The whole witness protection program thing felt wrong to me. I am no cop but having read my fair share of romantic suspense titles, I know when I am fooled with too little research. And I simply couldn't get Seth, who as the cop, bears the responsibility for the whole operation, but has nothing better to do than bring Lily to orgasm the first day they meet in a professional surrounding. The dynamics between Lily, Adrian and Seth feel totally off kilter, unbelievable and despite the three of them having several rounds of sex I felt oddly detached from the scenes. F
If I were to rate this book based on the sex alone it would be a scorching hot 5 star review with no question. Unfortunately for Ms. Walker there is more to a plot than really great sex and that part of the story was a distinct and unhappy 1 star for me. Splitting the difference I went with the 3 star and called it good. There are too many things what were supposed to be a suspense type plot that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I have a great imagination but I am only capable of suspending so much belief before the entire story collapses in upon itself. If you want to just skim a book for some sex then this is the novel for you. If you want to be drawn into a plot featuring some kind of circus of a witness protection plan than involves housing people at the police officer's parent's house, this is the book for you. If you don't care if any kind of emotional connection is made before the sexing starts... this is the book for you. If none of those sound good, then look away, gentle reader.
Inescapable is an enjoyable MFM menage story that I picked up when it was offered during a free promotion. Once I started reading, I continued until I finished. That's a good sign for me, since I've been having trouble finishing books lately. The scenes were hot. The characters were interesting. Not everyone's relationship would have clicked so well, but I could see how this was the perfect scenario for Adrian, Lily, and Seth. The plot was engaging, maintaining only the pertinent parts, which kept the story from dragging. And yes, I did say PLOT. There is more to this story than boy A and boy B met girl A and had a fling. There is action and suspense in a well done subplot. I really enjoyed the various POVs and the London/ Welsh references. I hadn't read anything by this author before, so I didn't know what to expect. I always love a pleasant surprise. Only real negative for me were the noticeable, but not *too* distracting, editing/typo issues. Recommended for those who like MFM menages.
This had an interesting setup. Sex chat buddies decide to meet in real life, about the time he turns to the police with evidence of wrongdoing by one of his clients. The day they set up to meet, he is going into witness protection, so an officer is with him. She thinks Seth is her sex chat buddy, Adrian, and starts kissing him. Right about now, someone attempts to kill Adrian, and Lily realizes her mistake because now she sees Adrian. But because she got a good look at the shooter, she has to go into protective custody now as well. Once at the safe house and a little more interaction between Seth and Lily, Lily cooks dinner for them. After dinner, since Adrian knows Lily has a fantasy of being watched, having chatted about it, and feeling the sexual tension between the three of them, he orchestrates the first joining between them. And it just goes from there. Very sexy with an HEA.
There is a policeman who alternates between procedure and seduction more often than a waiter clears tables in a busy restaurant on a Friday night.
Then there's the accountant who is meant to be exploring a relationship with the protagonist, but instead is encouraging the policeman to seduce and screw her before he's even kissed her himself.
Finally there's our heroine, for whom getting hold of the wrong end of every stick seems as natural as breathing.
The whole story-line feels too contrived.
As for the sex scenes, too infrequent and curiously wooden for the book to work as an erotic fantasy either.
Except for the sex scenes, the story in itself was lacking and a little unbelievable. The Erotica part was good but sometimes it was exaggerated. The characters didn't seem to have something that makes them special and I couldn't really connect with them even if I wanted to. Inescapable can be nice and quick to read if you don't mind not getting too involved in a book.
I've been reading every ménage I can get my hands on for years. This was one of the most heartfelt but also hottest I've read thus far. It was also believable- which is tremendously uncommon in a ménage.
This is really, really good. A blind date with a man you've been sharing hot fantasies with for months is one thing. Add in a Witness Protection officer who pushes all the right buttons and a hitman coming after them and you have a great story. Like a lot of police Seth is all about control and Lily finds she can't help but respond to him. Is it's the sexy, caring Adrian she's known online and exchanged all her fantasies with that has her wanting more or is the sexy Seth she can't resist.... or does she want more? I'll never think about the Welsh countryside in quite the same way again :) I enjoyed the way the tensions mounted between the three of the in the safehouse. It makes for a really, really good read. I'd love to read more about their lives/adventures as the relationships evolve further.

This is a very interesting ménage that captivates from the very beginning of the story. Adrian and Lily meet on line but have no idea what the other looks like. When she agrees to meet him at his office after work, she assumes the man answering his office door is Adrian. She thinks he is sexy and hot, so she walks right up, hugs him and kisses him. When shots ring out, she finds out she was not kissing Adrian, but an undercover police officer and that they are being taken to a safe house. There is a lot of action, both from the criminals and with the threesome who are all attracted to each other. So starts a fun stint in a safe house with lots of desire going around. It is a well written story, but I wish it had a little bit more to the ending.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a story that starts with an online relationship between Adrian and Lily. Seth comes into the picture when Lily comes to meet Adrian in person for the first time. He is an officer that ends up taking the couple into protective custody. The men are just as attracted to Lily as she is to them. The seclusion gives the three a chance to explore what a menage could be like between them. It becomes much more than sex, even though there is a lot of that. They still have the danger to deal with but once over they have to make decisions about their future together. This book was full of steam and had some drama, suspense and danger.

I received an ARC from BookSprout and am leaving my review voluntarily. This story was previously published in 2015. This is a MFM storyline so if you don't like that sort of thing, this book is not for you.
Triggers: violence
Spoilers: Lily, owns a small shop with a friend. Spends her evenings in a chat room with AW and together they explore their sexual fantasies.
Adrian, an accountant in London, is smitten by his online lover. They arrange to meet up. However, in the meantime he discovers a client involved with shady businesses.
Seth, police officer assigned to protect Adrian. When something happens, he finds himself having to protect 2 people.
A few times I was annoyed with Lily's attitude but realized she was in unfamiliar territory. The story has a bit of mystery, intrigue, sexy time.
Here is a book you will not be able to put down. Adrian, Lily, and Seth, the cop with them in protective custody, are locked away in the Welsh countryside. Loved the characters and the storyline, as well as the locale. A new twists to the usual MFM scenario. Adrian and Lily had been online together and knew a lot about each other and planned to meet, but she walked into a crime scene. The bad guys are a threat, but the feelings and emotions are strong with these three, eventually ending up with them all together. They are separated after the evil arrives, but after the trial, they approach each other again with questions. Loved the ending. Very well done.

An amazing story. Lily is having an online affair with a man she hasnt met before, and when she decides to meet him, she walks into the man being attacked. Adrian has decided to take the evidence he has on a mafia man to the police, but he is attacked the day he decides to meet Lily. Seth has been trying to get Adrian into the Witness Protection Programme and after being attacked, Adrian agrees. Now the three are hiding from the mafia men and also falling for each other. Loved reading this story. Thanx.

I'm a bit confused as to why I received this as an ARC in 2021 when it shows published in 2010. However, I'm leaving my honest review in exchange for a free copy of this book.
The story in this book is slightly unrealistic in how police protection would work and the number of rules that are broken in the story line around that. But the chemistry between the three main leads and the sex scenes are over the top amazing. I also enjoyed the description of the scenery on the hideout in Wales and would love to have it be a real place that you could go visit.
This book was steamy hot with lots of intrigue and suspense. Lily and Adrian meet online and after a few months, decide to meet in person. Unfortunately the day of their meeting, a murder attempt is made and the both of them are taken under the witness protection plan by Seth. While in an enclosed space, they grow closer and a relationship forms between the three of them. I thought this story was entertaining.
I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.
Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. This story was about Adrian and Lily are in witness protection, Seth is a police officer that takes them to the witness protection hideaway. Lily had fantasised about having a threesome and told Seth the sexy alpha male, while the sexual tension between Adrian and Lily is intense. It was erotic sweetness, sensational pleasures, arousing passion, desire and lust.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Lily, Adrian and Seth. Lily and Adrian have been chatting via a chat room. But when they agree to meet, fate throws them a major wrinkle. Seth is a police officer who is trying to get Adrian to testify and go under witness protection. When all heck breaks loose, the three are forced into hiding. But the spark between them hearts up. Putting lives in the line lead to a steamy beginning.

As the title suggests, the focus of the book is on the sexual encounters between Seth, Adrian and Lily. There are no scenes just between the men. I thought the lead up to their being stranded together as well as why Seth was drawn into the relationship with Adrian and Lily quite clever! The underlying suspense and danger of their discovery added to the tension between them. It is not a very drawn out plot but for me it worked. Glad to see them get their HEA!

Steamy story with a bit of suspense and romance. On her first blind date with Adrian, Lily gets entangled in a criminal case Adrian is also involved in and they are both taken by police officer Seth to a safe house for their protection. There they get to know each other better and in more ways . The story is not too long, the characters are not very developed but clearly defined, it is written in an accessible style and reads quickly

I give the author props for attempting to write a menage romance as the the ratio between an actual story and having too many steamy scenes is a tough balance. Inescapable has that balance, but the story is contrived and I couldn't connect with the characters. From the beginning, Lily is either bratty, naive or TSTL. I also didn't feel any real emotion from them. It isn't a bad story, but it isn't memorable either.
This ménage trio will likely steam you off the pages, but it was the danger that they have to face that clinched my reading of this book. It just got too much fun to put down. Lily, Seth and Adrian really do make a good romantic team, and it’s so obvious how much they care for one another. Their chemistry is also quite strong. It was a fun book to read

This was an awesome book. This was my first book by this author, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this book delivered! The perfect amount of suspense, emotions, and hot steamy scenes. I loved Lily, Seth, and Adrian. Each character was well written and unique. Looking forward to reading more books by this author.

I thought the story was well developed and well written. I loved the characters and how they interacted. The underlying drama was enough to keep me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next and I could not put it down. This was a short, sweet read. I look forward to reading more by this author.

When Lily develops a relationship with Adrian on the internet, bu when they finally meet in person, she mistakes his rotation officer Seth for him. The chemistry between all three is hot, there is a lot of steam, a few twists and turns. The story was well paced and interesting. A very steamy ménage à trois!! 3 1/2 Stars....

This is the first book I've read by Saskia Walker. It was well written with a good storyline and characters that were easy to like. I enjoyed the suspense as well as how the relationships developed. My only complaint is that there was a bit of repetition that I rolled my eyes at as I though how I got that already. But it's not enough to enjoy the whole book! I'll look for more from this author.

This is an intense story with some suspense, action and passion. Seth, Lily and Adrian are incredibly hot together. This is such a good read from beginning to end. Lily and Adrian having been getting to know each other online. She finally agrees to meet him and has no idea what is instore for her. These two get put into witness protection with the sexy and dominant Seth in control. I like how their story develops from beginning to end.
