Sara's humdrum world is turned upside down when she meets a stranger who says he knows her from the past and that she'd disappeared without a trace twenty years ago. She's bewildered and confused; why would someone play such a cruel prank on her?

Sharon Ricklin grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and always knew she wanted to be a writer. Besides being a mother and grandmother, she's also spent time as a medical assistant, ranch-hand, and a teacher. While still home-schooling her youngest son - she finally started writing. However, after writing her first romance novel, circumstances in life forced her to set that book aside for a few years...
No longer working full time and having an empty nest,(and no more excuses)she decided to get to work on editing that novel. Little did she know, her muse had other ideas. A fantastically vivid dream forced her to set the book aside, yet again. This dream gave birth to the Ravenswynd Series, and the muse hasn't shut up since.
Sharon is a member of Romance Writers of America, the author of two blogs, and involved in several Writers Groups.
Now living in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Sharon is in the final edits of book four in the Ravenswynd series and is also working on two time-travel novels. She hopes that someday she'll find the time to edit that elusive first novel - still safely tucked away under her bed. UPDATE: No longer tucked under bed! Song of Memory was published 2-12-15!

From the Author:

Song of Memory is near and dear to my heart for so many reasons.
I wrote the story while still home-schooling my youngest son (who is now 28 years old)
As some of you know, this book was put on hold (or stuffed under my bed) for too many reasons to mention here...
But last January (2014) I began the long process of re-writing - finishing up by October...(and then we moved...again...)
After all the blood, sweat, and tears, and dragging the manuscript around from Wisconsin to Kansas City - to Davenport, Iowa - and back to Wisconsin...(three places mind you) it's finally done!
Even though this is my 6th published novel...it is actually my very
FIRST BOOK!
Here's hoping you all like it!

"Song Of Memory" is one of those books that sticks with you long after you have read the final page. I didn't want it to end. I fell in love with the characters in the very beginning and was swept away by a tidal wave of love and emotion clearly painted by the hand of the author. This book has it all. You will find yourself chuckling one moment and then brought to tears the next. It was easy to give it a 5 star rating. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for the next best romance novel to add to your list. Congratulations, Sharon Ricklin Jones! You outdid yourself this time!

Jack and Sara were such a wonderful characters and they tugged at my heartstrings throughout the book. It's mostly written in first person (my favorite) from both Sara's and Jack's perspectives. I really enjoyed knowing what they were feeling and thinking in some of the same situations. But there is not too much overlap either which was good. The book has lot's of romance but also mystery, laughter and suspense. This is a book that is going to stay on my mind for a while, as I absolutely loved it.
