Take one last ride with Keiran and Lake and the rest of the Broken Love gang in this fifth and final installment as they face stronger enemies and bigger obstacles while fighting to hold tight to the tattered existence of their love.

When faced with broken love…

Have you ever had the feeling you were a stranger?
Out of reach, I watched and mourned me.
Nothing moved. Breathed. Nothing lived.
I was in an alternate universe.
No longer an innocent.
I had blood on my hands, and I wasn’t even sorry for it.
I was only afraid for Keiran.
Of his reaction when the shock wore off.
It would be an explosion.
Of hurt, anger, and mistrust.
He’d know I lied.
And to him…
The betrayal born of my good intentions is worse than the act of murder.

…will you succumb to fear…

She was supposed to be my light.
The one who saved me from the monster.
But when I looked in her eyes that day, I didn’t see her.
I only saw my father’s killer.

Her love saved me from the monster.
Mine turned her into one.

…or will you be fearless?

Review now posted:
5+ "My Dark Prince"

"Forever, Lake. I'll love you."

I took my sweet time to write my review because I indeed needed the time to process everything and the fact that this series is actually over. These characters became one of my favourite from the first book. With each new book I fell more and more inlove with all of them despite the fact that at one point I wanted to strangle every one of them. This serirs had me bouncing on my chair from anticipation, bitting my nails of fear about what is going to happen, hot and bothered because come on.. KEIRAN, Keenan and Dash are one of a kind species and lastly swoon all over the place because no matter what these guys have soft and kind side!

This book is the last from the series. *crying under the table* The conclusion of Keiran and Lake's story. They will always be my favourite couple of the series of course! It all started with a bang, from the first book I was on edge about everything. The proved that LOVE IS STRONGER THAN FEAR and that sometimes love requires you to be FEARLESS. Throughout their journey they both learned so many things and felt so many feelings. I cried, I laughed, I was angry with them but once again these two showed me that now matter how twsity and messy things seem to be, in the end you fight for what you love.. and you win.

"Every night she spent in my bed i always held her in my arms, safe from the monsters that threaten to break us apart."

Lake.. I've tried to put myself in her shoes so many times. Each time she stood on her ground I become proder of her. We all know the shy and scared girl from the first book but more importantly we all know the girl she became! I didn't thought that she could be so strong and determinate until this book. Once again the life with Keiran puts her through so many things but her love for him drives her and nothings and no one could stop her. She was sassy, funny and sweet, also she was badass and smart. I love the woman she became and the fact that her family and0 Keiran always come first. First to love, first to protect.

"I wanted to conquer him the same way he sought to conquer me."

Keiran.. my Dark Prince, the Big bad wolf, the boy who once lived among monsters, who believed that he was a monster himself but was saved by the girl he thought he hates.

"You were born among monsters" she lifted my face when I hid in her shoulder "but you were not meant to walk with them"

I am SO proud of him! This man made me want to punch him SO many times but he redeemed himself. I thought I was crazy to love a character like him but I know that's not true. He proved that he wanted to change and he did! He became the man he never thought he would be, he fell in love, he create a family, he was surrounded by people who love him and support him. People who will gives their lives for each other. Keiran once again showed why no one should mess with him and his loved ones. I missed his broody and hard attitude! He definitely knows how to pull out the sexiness from his angry look. What I loved the most was that we get to see once again his soft and sweet side. His need to control and protect Lake was because he loved her endlessly, despite his weird ways of showing it.

"Even when I hated you, being without you wasn't something I could do."

In this last book every secret is unraveled. Every detail about people, events, feelings - this book provides them all! Twist after twist. Things goes out of hand, then everything is good and BAM everything is a mess. I couldn't stop reading, I even dreamed about it! I was shaking with anticipation, sweating because I was scared and also angry with all those motherfuckers who were messing with my people! Yep, that's what BB Reid do to us, readers. Like everytime, she didn't disappoint!!

Me while reading this book:

The love between Keiran and Lake was so visible! The sexual tension like always was off charts. Control, dominance, passion and lust. Everything packed in their relationship scream HOTNESS!

"I dominated this girl, yet she owned me. Completely. And I wasn’t even sorry for it."

I am sad and also happy because after every damn thing that happened to them. Even when everything seemed too dark to be bright again, even when everything seemed impossible to be redeemed they found the way for their Happily ever after! My heart was happy for them because TOGETHER they chased away the monsters and found the FEARLESS love.

“Keiran Masters, my dark prince, you find out who you really are.”

Thank you BB Reid for taking us to thos journey and the made us fall in love with this scared souls! I will always remember them!

Where to start with this review?

Well it’s time say goodbye to this gang! We watch them grow up together. this group truly stuck together through thick & thin…. Through murder, lies & secrets… oh & plenty of kidnapping

I don’t know about you, but it was somewhat hard getting to this point with Lake and Keiran.. watching Keiran terrorize Lake wasn’t a easy task to read about… and for the author to turn that into love story, was true miracle

In this book, so much was going on in the back story & we got to watch the push & pull of this couple… but we also seen how strong the friendship of this small group was... And wow how they would do just about anything for each other! including murder!
But most important part in my eyes was the fact Lake was able finally hold her own with Keiran

My dislikes of this book, was I felt that the author may have gave us one amazing ass epilogue of pretty much everyone, but I wanted to know more about Di, Jesse & most important Quentin. This one of the reasons I took my time about finishing this series! Other than the wanting more of some of these charters, this was amazingly tense & very suspenseful series

📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion & my honest review

💕 + Also I wouldn’t never discourage anyone from reading this book.

there is nothing better on Halloween than to curl up with some Chai tea and read a horror story.

not gonna lie, I'm warming up to Keiran and Lake. Just as Keiran and I were to become best friends forever, the series ends, but oh well sometimes life doesn't go as planned. 😌
How would I ever be able to fix my broken love when he was still afraid of the dark?

While this series wasn't my favorite *cough* it still holds a special place in my heart. Besides there is just something extremely satisfying about finishing a series and be done with it! Maybe I'll have better luck with the second gen series that B.B. Reid is planning aaaand my baby Kennedy's book is the first book so let's pray for the best 🙏

“You’d be amazed what someone is willing to do for love”

It is time for Keiran and Lake to fight their enemies for one last time.
Keiran and Lake have come a long way, they have matured, have changed BUT unfortunately they still do not trust each other completely. This last story is a total mess because there are so many misunderstandings, lies and omission of the truth.

“Forever, Lake. I’ll love you.”
“Forever,” I whispered back, ignoring the guilt that ate at me for what I planned to do.

The rest of the gang is also present in the story. Their friends will stand by them and suffer for them while they conclude also their stories.

Despite the continues angst throughout the book, there are some super cute epilogues after 11 months and 9 years. If you love , you will love these epilogues.

Anyway, for me Keiran has been one of the best school bullies in romance books. You know, the type that pulls the little girl's hair because he truly likes her.

This is the last book of the series. There were so many things happening and I was always on the edge to know what happens next.

It was filled with plot twists and suspense. Overall, the final conclusion of the series was great.

So the reason I wanted to wait a little before writing my review is because I wanted to write it with a clear head and this book left me with one hell of a book hangover. As expected.

I loved every word of this book - From the Title to the Dedication to the Acknowledgements. There's not a minute of this book I didn't thoroughly enjoy.

Whilst I'm absolutely gutted that this series is now over, I don't think the author could've written this book - Hell this whole series - any better than she did. She ended it perfectly. Your questions finally all get answered and it didn't feel like she was dragging anything out or delaying any inevitable. While more would always be nice with Bebe she finished the series the best way possible. I got closure. She tied everything together in a nice pretty little bow at the end as it should've been done.

It took a special kind of girl to bring Kieran Masters to his knees. Yes, yes it did. Lake was perfect for the job

Monsters don't cry.

"When are you going to let me have that date?"
"Would you like to take her out before or after I break your neck?"
Typical Kieran Masters for you.

Shit. you're right. Her emotional state these days is... delicate. Borderline psychotic. I sleep with one eye open and one hand over my dick because I have no idea what to expect from one day to the next. Wait until you have your first." Dash to Kieran for you!! ;)

There's not really anything I can say about this book? It's bittersweet. I've lived with these characters for so long. So excited and living in anticipation for the next instalment that I'm sad to see the journey end. At the same time though, this book was just as great as its predecessors and I wouldn't have changed a thing! If you haven't read this series? I strongly suggest you start now. It's one that will stay with me forever.

You finally get to see the true strength to Lake. She more than rises to the occasion. Girl is badass and I adore her. And Kieran? I think some might criticise and say Kieran goes soft or weak or changes or whatever. But he doesn't. My highlights above and throughout the whole book show he doesn't. Kieran doesn't change for Lake. He grows with her. The man he becomes is strong, brutal and perfect for Lake. Watching him grow was beautiful to witness. He's still Kieran though. He'll always be my dark prince.

This whole gang comes together to solve an EPIC mystery (seriously, I felt like Velma from Scooby Doo trying to solve this shit!) and it'll keep you up at night and at the edge of your seat. You'll end up questioning your own sanity at one point or another. But I had so much fun with them all; Lake, Kieran (My love!), Dash (Still HOT!), Willow, Keenan (still HILARIOUS!), Sheldon, Kennedy (Still SO cute!), Di, Q, Jesse, Mitch, John, Esmerelda and a few new people ;) I seriously hope I haven't missed anyone out. The book was so well written, I even have to give credit to the villains ;)

Anywho, I don't wanna cry cause I'm sad that my time with this crew is over (though it never really will be cause of all my re-reads! ;) ) I know you'll love this book as much as the others, if not more, if you've read them. If not, get your ass on that or I may have to question our friendship! ;)

Oh and P.S. B.B. Reid has a little surprise for you at the end of Fearless. Just sayin'! ;) It's an awesome one, by the way! :)

ENJOY!!! (I know you will ;) )

Book 5 in the Broken Love Series! All the characters got so much more lovable. So many pitfalls & so much manipulation. Like 5 plot twists. It was a lot but it was good. Short yet enjoyable.

The perfect finale to the series. Lake and Keiran are one of my favourite characters. I read the whole series mostly for them. Willow, Dash, Keenan and Sheldon have amazing stories too. They all make one hell of a band. Thank you for the amazing journey, B.B. Reid! ❤

description

So here Lake is in trouble for something that leaves everyone shocked. She is facing murder charges... Huh I wasn't seeing this! Keiran can't do much about it, especially his way. He is hurt and feels betrayed by the only one he thought he could entirely trust. The doubt and distrust shakes their relationship. I felt so many things while reading Fearless... sadness, anger, agony, love.. This couple will always have a special place in my heart. All secrets are revealed. No more lies. The writing was excellent and the suspense was killing me.. one thing is fixed, but something else jumps up and I found asking my myself why can't they live and love without someone trying to harm them!?! Yet after overcoming all obstacles they become better versions of themselves - Lake grew from a timid girl in a fearless woman, and Keiran - from a cold killer in a loving and honorable man. I loved the last pages.. so much change, good change for all of them. I loved these series. I'm sad that they have come to an end, but all good stuff ends. Let's enjoy them while we can.

Title: Fearless
Author: B.B. Reid
Series or Standalone: Series, Book 5
Category Dark Romance, New Adult
Characters: 5
Plot: 5
Scorching Level: 5
HEA: Not telling

I have followed B.B. Reid from the very first book and these characters hold a very special place in my heart and in my bookworld. This book made me emotional because we watch these characters go through hell but ultimately every sacrifice has a purpose.
We follow Lake, Keiran, Willow, Dash, Keenan & Sheldon and let me tell you, it's one hell of a ride.
In true Reid fashion we get the edginess we crave and of course the sensuality that made the series!
For those who have read the last book, you will get all your answers and we finally get to see what happens after that terrible cliffhanger!
Lake finds herself facing murder charges and Keiran for the first time feels helpless to help her.
The book takes a few unexpected turns and you never know what happens until the end.
Keiran finds himself doubting Lake after finding out what she did and that is when things get rocky in their relationship.

I fucked with her and she submitted.
This was the game we played.

In five years, Lake had taught me how to love but she hadn't taught me how to forgive.

Will they ever get past everything that threatens to tear them apart?

Despite the darkness of our couple's relationship, we still have the comic relief in the form of Keenan, Willow, Dash and little Ken!

"Don't 'babe' me. It's hot, and I feel like a whale swimming in a desert."
"You're beautiful."
"Can it, Chambers. You're getting laid tonight. You don't need to kiss my ass."
~Willow & Dash

I won't go further into the plot because this book needs to be experienced with no spoilers, but I can safely say that it is one of my favorite in the series. The writing is fantastic! The characters, like always, are captivating and their story a fight for redemption and love.
Do not miss this thrilling conlusion!

i was going to give this book 3 stars but to be honest I don't feel like it deserves them. I rolled my eyes so much las night reading this that I woke up today with freaking migraine.

I started this series when the first book came out. Fear Me was so wrong but so good. It trapped me. I wanted to know more about Kieran and I wanted him to be a better person.

I never warmed up to Lake. In the first book I understood her bravery and her wanting to stand up for herself and not be affraid and I was damn proud but we learn in that book about Kieran's past and after that her being all over the place just pissed me off because I felt like she had no sense of survival.
Book two was not as good as the first one but I understood that it was Kieran's chance to redeem himself so I liked it. After that things went down hill.

I always thought this series should have ended with book two and Keenan and Dash's books should have been novellas.
I felt like the writer drags things out too much, it took 5 freaking books for us to have answers to shit from the first book and in the end of this one we are left with more questions but hey its fine because she's going to write a stand alone for Q,Di and Jesse. well fuck that. I'm so not reading it. I know already it's going to be a freaking menage so I dont know why she's being all secretive about it. Obviously none them are going to die or disappear for the other two to end up together. Lake thinking about Jesse's sexuality and how she doesn't know if he is into girls or guys just proved the menage thing is so going to happen.

I understand that writers get attached to their characters and I'm the first person to love series, I'm reading Immortal After Dark for christ sakes, 16 books and counting people. But my point is that you should know when to stop, this fifth book was so unnecesary, They fucked and then Lake spent the whole time running from Kieran and Kieran trying and doing shit to make their relationship work even if it was the wrong thing to do.
Lake had the balls to be mad at Kieran when she made all the freaking messes.
Let's be real here, Kieran is the one who knows how to do shit, so if you are going to try and do bad shit you go to expert because you are just a girl even if ou want to be strong, you are just stupid.
Honestly i wanted to slap Q when he saved her from her stupidity. let the bitch do it and go to freaking jail, Maybe she learns.

The whole book we see how Lake's belief that Kieran is always going to do something bad hurts Kieran and we never saw Lake realizing this, apologizing to him or at least trying to believe in him. Even when she finds out that he visited Mitch and didn't do anything she still expects the worst from him.

I liked the epilogue but like I said before, it should have happened since book two.

***5+++ "Big Bad Wolf" stars for my beloved Keiran***
(And for the rest of them, of course!!!
But if you know me, you would know also that i'm a fuckin' addict to him!!! Like Lake!!!)

"How would I ever be able to fix my broken love when he was still afraid of the dark?"

Honestly, I don't know what to say about this series...
I adore the finale of this awesome series and at the same time, i feel such sadness!!!
How can i live without them??? How???

I will miss all those guys so much and my dear Keiran even more!!!
But i feel a little bit happy because B.B. Reid informed us that there will be a stand alone about Di, Q. and Jesse... And damn me, i was needing this story so much!!! I'm craving it!!!

The only thing that i can say about the "Broken Love" series is that those books were an ADDICTION!!!

Yep, to some people, Keiran's attitude was a little bit overreacted, especially since he was still a teenager in the first two books, but i fuckin' adore him!!!
Hey, don't judge!!! He is a fictional character... I can't do whatever i want!!!

But to be fair, all of the gang were awesome!!!
I loved Lake, Keenan, Sheldon, Dash, Willow, Q., Di, Jesse., Kennedy....
You already know that i adore with everything in me Keiran...
He was a tortured soul....

In a way or another, all of them were tortured soul, but they were so bound together that all their problems would be fixed... if they had each other by their sides!!!

Well, I laughed with them, i cried, i got mad and angry, i got hot and bothered, i felt agony and they built intensely the suspect in me... I felt so sorry about them and i got happy with them...
I don't think that i will ever forgot this series....

But enough with the sentiment... I have to tell you some things about the plot...

"I fucked with her and she submitted.
This was the game we played."

After two books about others, we finally had Keiran and Lake's POV for once again...
From their story had passed almost 5years and Keiran and Lake, the bully and his victim who fell in love with him, are still together and they love each other more than ever...

As we know, from all the previous books, Keiran had an ugly past and he has too many enemies... Questions are still lingered around them and the fourth book finished with a big cliffy...

"He was a danger to Keiran.
I had a love to protect and a point to prove.
Keiran wouldn’t destroy me, but I might have destroyed him."

Lake had been arrested for a murder...
No, i won't tell you for whose murder!!! You have to found it out by yourselves...
Did she do it??? And why???
Keiran and Lake's "wonderful" relationship is trembling down...

Lies got between them, and they're starting to feel unsure and distrustful to each other...
Keiran is so pissed off with her because she lied to him... He is starting to worry if he had turned her innocent girl in a monster!!!

He wants to learn the truth and he is turning to his old self to have his way...

In five years, Lake had taught me how to love, but she hadn’t taught me how to forgive. Until now, I had no idea it was something that still eluded me. Effortlessly, she had become my reason, so while I knew I could never let her go, a part of me feared we would never be the same. I couldn’t bring myself to trust her. I only felt the need to control her for purely selfish reasons. I couldn’t be without her. I refused."

Lake is starting to feel unsure and she begins to fear for once again Keiran's change...

But she can't aloud to herself to be intimating by himself...
She doesn't deserve it and he doesn't deserve to forget his new self...
She have to stand up in her height and to be fearless if she wants to save what they have...

“I used to think that no one or nothing could make me turn back because there was nothing worth losing you over. I never counted on you being the one.”

The road to a happy life for them is very long and with too many obstacles...

Will they manage to overcome them and to get free from all the demons that are hunting them down???
Will they ever get free from all those chains that are keeping them prisoner???
Will they manage to stay together forever and her love to remain untouched???

"Every night she spent in my bed i always held her in my arms, safe from the monsters that threaten to break us apart."

Well, i love all the couples in those series but Lake and Keiran are by far my most favorite...
Their connection is so deep and intimating...

Yep, they fucked up all the time, but they always manage to find their way to each other...
And yes, you could tell that their love is a little bit twisted but in a way it's so beautiful...
It's powerful and real... With its ups and downs, with lots of fights and makeups, with lots of sexual tension and wrong ways...

But i did enjoy every single moment of them!!!

"And like always with Keiran, I had no idea what I was getting myself into whenever I provoked him purposely. I craved his slow careful, loving. But I couldn’t deny that sometimes I needed it like this—like he still hated me."

Keiran had change all those years... His love for Lake changed him, but he never get rid their "savage" ways and that is his charming...

He is a possessive, controling asshole but he is such a sweetheart deep down inside and when this side of him is making an appearance, you want to lose yourself in him...
That's why Lake can exist without him...

She is the only woman that can bring him down on his knees and i liked her for that!!!
Yep, she is tolerating too much shitty things for Keiran, but she is managing to stand up in her height...
They are a perfect match and damn!!! I will miss them so much!!!

"I dominated this girl, yet she owned me. Completely.
And I wasn’t even sorry for it."
{Keiran}

"It took a special kind of girl to bring Keiran Masters to his knees." {Lake}

I love that everything got settle in this book...
Every question was answered and every bad guy took what he deserved...

I also liked that i took a glimpse from their future and all i have to say is "Keiran, fate is a bitch"!!!" Bahahaha...

“Keiran Masters, my dark prince, you find out who you really are.”

And somewhere here, this wonderful broken journey came to an end...

B.B. Reid, thank you so much about that and i'm looking forward for anything new from you!!!!
I'm sure, it will be equally awesome!!!

10 big stars for the Epic conclusion of the series

ARC kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review

I feel so excited yet sad for reviewing the last installment of the series. This part had everything twists, suspense, action and many emotions spilling all over the story.

I also felt very happy and content for this book because had all the characters of the series but from Lake's and Keiran's point of view, what can i say both were my favorite characters from the start not that i don't like the rest but i felt many intense emotions with this couple and i'm very happy that once again i had the chance to read their thoughts and feelings about each other and generally the reasons for their actions about other things.

"Every night she spent in my bed i always held her in my arms, safe from the monsters that threaten to break us apart.

This part was indeed very intense and the suspense really made me holding my breath all the time because one big thing after another was happening here and turned upside down everything in a blink of an eye. The author did really good job and raised the level really high, you couldn't get bored on the contrary i think no one could leave the book until it's finished.

I'm so glad the Lake had the conclusion she deserved from the beginning of the series, her character played front seat and i really enjoyed her development from a kitten to a tiger it was truly remarkable. Keiran also had a great turn of character and that's caused by his love for Lake although he still has the elements that i love so much, he continues to be a possessive and very dominant. And now is the time to say that indeed "Love conquers everything", the sex scenes were really hot and their dirty conversations were mouthwatering.

"I wanted to conquer him the same way he sought to conquer me."

Furthermore i was really fascinating when all the characters were together because their dialogues were very hilarious and i laughed a lot. All of them were tight as a fist helping each other like every big family should have.

I could say many more things about this part and i honestly feel very sad to close it but i don't wanna spoil anything and i pretty sure that you will enjoy it as much as i have because it has many great elements for an epic ending. I can't wait to see what else the author has in store for us and i think and hope to see other characters of the Broken Love series have their own book.

"I love you. So much baby. (Lake)
"I'm yours, Lake Mornoe." (Keiran)

4.5 Stars!!!

More Keiran & Lake! This is the fifth book in the series, they need to be read in order, just a heads up. I can't go into much detail in fear of spoilers. So, this will be vague.

All the answers and more. You'll love this ending! Cheers to epic endings and romance with edge.

Who killed Mitch?!?! The million dollar question. Will this tear our favorite couple apart or bring them closer? I battled, was conflicted with this one, this is a favorite series for me, but I felt a bit disconnected at times. I blame it on the growth of the characters, I wanted them to be the way they always were, but in reality I needed this. Closure. I know some will jump for joy, Lake grew a back bone, and I loved every bit. Keiran will always be unpredictable, angry-sexy, one of my favorite characters ever written. Overprotective. Dominate. He's like spicy chocolate!

BB opened a can of suspense in this one. The villains coming out of the woodwork. The plot twists were plentiful, whiplash- hair pulling suspense. It's nail biting, angst-written-crazy. Just like all her other books, it's toe curling, hotness. I love the mixed bag of goodies, you never know what's to come. These characters are engraved in my heart, I cried happy tears, it was the perfect ending to a epic series. Kudos to Reid for making me fall in love with every character, to making me feel.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!
Oh my god! This book was the best goddamn romance i've read in months! I read the whole series! And i can tell you know, i'm quite sad this is the last book in the series. Now let me tell you why i rated this book 4 stars.
The reason that i rated this book five stars is because of the false hope and hope the author gives you throughout the novel. One minute the couple would be happy. The next they'd be yelling at each other and one would leave.
But the story line was great! And the sex was steamy as hell.
Over all, great book!

Review by Lisa Kane

"I crave your fear and I want you safe. But I need to control you."

Fearless brings the Broken Love series full circle. Even after four previous books, so many questions remained unanswered. Who was responsibility for Kennedy's kidnapping and why? Who killed Mitch? Who killed John? Not to mention I wanted closure for Keiran and Lake. Dash and Willow are finally getting the happiness they deserve and have a baby on the way and Keenan and Sheldon have Kennedy and might as well be cemented together. There's no doubt Keenan will never leave or put his girls second in his life.

When Breaking Love ended, Lake had just gotten arrested for Mitch's murder and Keiran, being Keiran, reacted in a way that had me wanting to kick him in the family jewels.

This was my woman in trouble. As soon as I got her out of this shit I would wring her neck until I had answers.

After all Lake has suffered from you and all the times she has given her love so unconditionally, he's going to turn on her? Really?

How could I admit that sometimes four years of love didn't seem long enough to battle ten years of torment? The thought alone was heartbreaking but to voice it felt like betrayal.

But Keiran typically reacts poorly when someone he loves is threatened. His obsession with Lake pushes him over the edge. She is his to protect and he is not going to react in a good way when he finds out she acted behind his back, regardless of her intentions.

It's how she affected me. She made me want to hurt her and protect her all at once.

But just like every other mystery in this series, there is so much more to Mitch's death than Lake's actions. Most of the story is a web of deceptions and cover ups and lies and some of those are totally unexpected. Lake and Keiran have been keeping things; important things from each other. And we know how they each react to being kept in the dark or lied to-there's going to be lots of drama and angry sex and hurt feelings.

In five years, Lake had taught me how to love but she hadn't taught me how to forgive.

The thing I love most about Ms. Reid's writing is her Agatha Christie like style. You've read a chapter, moved on and then out of the blue, pages and pages later, something happens and you realize that what you took at face value pages ago, was not what really happened. There was something else going on, only you didn't know that at the time. And then when it all gets revealed you end up thinking, "Why the hell didn't I see that?"

Lake's transformation from victim to aggressor has been a long time in the making. From the timid girl bullied in Fear Me to the young woman refusing to be dominated in Fear You to the secretive, protective woman she is in Fearless, the change has taken years and is in a large part due to Keiran. She was forced to stand up for herself or she would forever cower in fear.

I couldn't breathe. I couldn't-"A-are you breaking up with me?"

But it's Keiran who has probably undergone the greatest change of the characters. Motivated strictly by hatred and revenge he is finally at a point where he can (for the most part) think before he lashes out. Even if that thinking is plotting his next move, rather than acting first and then having to deal with the fallout he created by his impetuous actions. Make no mistake, he will kill to protect Lake, but most times he will think first and then react. She is the reason for this and he knows it. He may not be what is best for her, but neither one of them will let the other go. He is her obsession as strongly as she is his.

So while I knew I could never let her go, a part of me feared we would never be the same.

While there are still some lingering questions (as there should be, otherwise where is Q, Diana and Jesse's story going to go?) almost all are resolved and there is closure. And the epilogue...it's all that I wanted and so much more!

"Forever, Lake. I'll love you."

"Her fearless chase was breaking us."

Is this the end, or a new beginning?

I don't know where to begin, how to even construct my review in a form to do this masterpiece justice without over thinking it. One thing that rings true though is that THIS is the book you have to read, the series you must read-this year!!

Fearless, from the cover to the words written behind it is all about Lake Monroe. We witness not just the change happening in her, but her complete transformation from shy, fearful girl to brave, fearless woman who will protect the man she loves at all costs. And just like we observe the metamorphosis in Lake, Keiran Masters' own transition from the cruel, ruthlessly inhumane savage to a man who embraces his own vulnerabilities, loves fiercly, and who is capable of feeling everything from sadness and pain to remorse and hurt, can not be ignored.

A rift has been torn between these two, yet the chemistry is still very much there. The sex is carnal, animalistic, rough, and wild; feeding a need in Lake and Keiran that will not be denied.

I thought the tables were turned in Fear You when Lake first started to show us bits and pieces of her strength and we could see the true effect she was having on Keiran's hardened heart. Well, that was before I read Fearless. This is the book that takes us readers and makes us onlookers to the life alterating shift in the characters who stole a piece of our hearts from the very first page in Fear Me.

It's so hard for me to wrap my head around everything that was revealed in Fearless. There's no more secrets. Everything comes to light as the suspense builds with each revelation. Just when you think you have dissected the plot, B.B. Reid twists everything you've read thus far, forcing you to question what you really know.

Not only has she written, but she has delivered a compelling work of words upon pages.

So I ask again, is this the end or a new beginning?

Some people say all good things must come to an end, while others say they never truly end.

For me, it's not the end. These characters, each one of them and the stories that B.B. Reid bared to us will stay in my heart forever because 'da beebs' has wrecked me and stole a piece of my soul. I'll never get over or get past these characters.

Instead I'll simply say goodbye.
For now.

SPOILERS!! The only reason this book even gets a 3 star is because I love Kieran. I'm sad to say goodbye to him. As the book started I thought this could be good. It was fun to be back in Kieran and Lake's crazy relationship. And then as the book went on, it just kept deteriorating.

PROS
- only Kieran can pull off being an overly possessive asshole and not completely hate him.
- I love having the original Keenan back and not the version from Fear Us.
- the epilogue was great.

CONS
- the overall plot was too chaotic and sloppy. It felt like the author kept trying to add in twists while trying to tie up loose ins at the same time. This caused a lot of plot points to leave me rolling my eyes. First, Lake kills Mitch, then Q, then Kieran and finally Greg. It also caused a lot of convenient coincidences. First of all, Greg being the nurse's secret love. Secondly that Esmeralda never kills Willow leaving her available to call for help. And third, all the bad guys (Mitch, Greg and Esmerelda) keep telling Lake their dirty secrets thinking that they will be killing her. Basically, the story seemed to never end. The book could have been cut by 25%.
- along with a never ending storyline, Kieran and Lake were on and off the whole time. one would get mad and then they would have sex and all would be overlooked. This happened non stop thru the book.
- Lake annoyed me this book. She is trying to pull off murders, lies and deception. Not only is that not who she is but every time she does it, it seems to cause more problems. Let Kieran handle the criminal activities. I don't think Lake should bow to Kieran's will but the criminal life is more Kieran's forte.
- their lack of communication was a big problem. I don't like it when drama is caused because people won't talk.
- after she was arrested, Lake was telling everyone that she murdered Mitch and why. She was just talking to them like she was caught cheating on a test or something. When you're being investigated for murder, you keep your trap shut.
- didn't care for the plot with the nurse and the abusive husband. Lake and Kieran already made peace with their pasts. We don't need to see them trying to save an abused family in order to clear their consciences. This just seemed very unnecessary, especially since it took up probably 15% of the story.
- Kieran keeps disclosing his feelings and past with people. This does not seem like Kieran. I know he has opened up since Lake but he is still Kieran.
- didn't care about Di either. Never really liked her and she is not a main character so don't give her any type of story line.
- Kieran not killing his mom was very questionable to me. It seems like this book is trying to redeem Kieran for his past. It may be wrong but I don't want to see a nice Kieran. His past is what makes him him.

I really wanted to like this but the story felt forced and out of character some. I think this series should have ended after Fear Me and Fear You. Fear Me and Fear You are two of my all times faves and I feel like they have been slightly tainted because of these last three books.

5 FEARLESS STARS

I don't know where to begin with this review, so I'll start by saying I was introduced to this series by my bestie and if I had known beforehand what I was getting myself into I would have dived into this series long before she mentioned it to me.

Why you may ask? Well it's simple.

I was captivated and owned by Keiran Masters from the start, and now I can say from beginning to end.

Fearless, in all honestly was 100% about Lake. She's the true hero in this story because not only has she grown, but she's become so much stronger and more fearless. I'm so proud of her. She turned the tables and fought for Keiran. She protected him and did whatever in her power to save him from their enemies and from his own demons. I feel she saved his soul.

Keiran as always was hot and broody, but to see him change because of Lake was a beautiful thing to witness and made my heart soar.

To say that I'm sadden this is the end to this series is an understatement, but I couldn't be any more happier to see how happy these beloved characters turned out. They each got what they deserved... a happy ending.

But is this really the end? I think not! B.B. Reid makes us fall in love even harder with her mind when she reveals a special surprise for us involving Di, Q, and Jesse which just means more Keiran, Lake, and the gang #Eek! I can't bloody wait.

Fearless is suspenseful and will keep you at the edge of your seat with anticipation. It was lots of angst and drama, and lots of sexy moments as well. I loved it so much and if your a fan of this series, so will you!

2 Stars

I sat on this book for months before I decided to read it. Mainly because the teaser had me rolling my eyes so hard I saw my brain... I mean Lake, a killer? Hahahahaha NO. But in order to satisfy my OCD and finally be finished with this ridiculousness, I decided to read the final book.

So, was it as bad as I expected?

Shockingly, no.

Lake is still no hero - that will never change - but Keiran was forced to take a backseat this time around, and it actually made him slightly more bearable. There was a shit tonne of drama, a bit of murder, a lot of arguments and lies. The story wasn't boring, but I won't get into the finer details.

Overall my experience with this series has been negative. I still recall every awful thing the supposed 'heroes' of the series did to their woman, which include; rape, sodomy, burning and choking (to the point of passing out), just to name a few. And no matter how passionately in love they claim to be with the heroines, I can't overlook those things.

But on the flip side, no matter how much the books aggravated me, I continued to read them. Granted, I hated them more and more as the series progressed, but still, I read them. Not only that, but I remember them (this is a great feat considering my poor memory). So I consider that a positive. Albeit a slightly back-handed one.

So in conclusion - would I recommend this series? No. I fall into the category of people that - as the author said - 'don't understand these characters and their love'. If I wanted something along these lines, my preference would be Bully (a series I LOVE).

Just a few things...

I am so sad to say goodbye to my all-time favorite series.
Also, to my all-time favorite book boyfriend ever. *sob!*
This book gave me mixed feelings. I'll explain why, but it may contain a few SPOILERS, so be warned...

Lake drove me a little nuts. It seemed like she narrated her feelings one way, then her actions played out something completely different. Her narration said, "I love him and I'll fight to the death to keep him!" But then her actions said, "Lie, lie, lie and run EVERY TIME he upsets you!"

I couldn't quite understand why she lied most of the time. It seemed unnecessary to me. It felt like forced drama. She kept lying and running, then would say she didn't trust him.
Oh, Lake.... *shaking head*
I know she was meant to look like she grew a backbone, but she just looked bi***y. She also slaps him a few times in anger and at one point, punches his jaw with a right hook. Kieran was the passive one showing all the mercy. Lake was the one flying off the handle all the time, then running away. (At one point, for a month!)
Unnecessary.
Drama.
And Grandparents showing up to add nothing to the story?
Weird and unnecessary drama.

I was really hoping to see a united front with them, fighting all this stuff together. I think it was needed.
Instead we had them fighting turmoil and conquering situations on their own. Which was nice for them, but it didn't show any growth or strength for their relationship. Even 11 months after they're married, she thinks he's going to run and keeps yet another secret. Again, she doesn't trust him. Which was the theme of the book.

These issues were what kept the book from being a 5 star read for me. I needed to feel them solid as a couple, yet in the end, we weren't given that at all.

But the epilogue was adorable. So thank you Bebe for that!

Overall, the book felt a bit rushed. Especially the end. Lake -again, dramatically- tells Keiran she's pregnant and then BAM! We're taken to nine years later.
I would have LOOOOVED to hear about his crazy, possessive behavior during her pregnancy. Or how he felt during and after the birth of his son. How did he feel after becoming a father? And how were these feelings for Lake?
These were just skipped over entirely. I felt like they were important. Or, at least for me.

So, maybe a short story could cover these?!?
PLEASE??? ;)

Also, the typos and missing words drove me a little crazy as well. I would have to go back over sentences a few times just to try to figure out what was being said.

Thank you for giving me these incredibly amazing characters Ms Reid!
Kieran will always own my book heart!

“You were born among monsters,” she lifted my face when I hid in her shoulder, “but you were not meant to walk with them.”

I have been following this series since I met Keiran. Even then I was addicted to him. His dark persona just really got me and no matter how crazy some scenes are, for me this is my kind of CRAZY and this in a GOOD way! I have devoured it because as I said I am addicted to the lead. But more importantly, I am addicted to the plot. I love how it was written excellently. Every detail was written flawlessly and with every line has a pull that will male drawn into the story. The angst is just too much I was always in the edge. But couple it with sexy scenes that are so damn SCORCHING HOT, swoony and loling moments and you feel like your heart's gonna burst. I have been living with these characters for far too long but even then I don't think I'm through with them. I sure will miss the Broken Love to think that it's the last book of the series but I'm just glad I get to know them.

This is really a great book. My ride with them is enjoyable. I had so much fun. I cried..laughed..and feel so different emotions with them.

Now Di and Q? I can't wait for their story.

It took long to write this review cause I really wanted to pour my heart out but I still don't know how to write. I have never read any books like these series especially this particular book.
There are no words to describe it. I feel like crying every time I think about this book because it has everything in it, talk of romance to obsession to thriller ( yeah right), not to talk of possessiveness, hatred etc.
Perfect girl for keiran. Who said a soft heart can't tame a hard heart. Perfect for eachother.
"Forever,Lake,I'll love you"- That's Keiran talking😱. If I was reading the first book and you told me Keiran would ever say that word "LOVE" and to no one other Lake, the girl he hated so much. Seriously, the first time I read the I LOVE YOU word from Keiran, I was shocked because this was a guy who felt nothing except hatred towards Lake.
This book is perfect in every way, I actually felt like I was connected to the book somehow, I can't really explain it.
B.B. Reid, I'm so much in love with you for writing this series . I learnt so much from it and I'm still hyping it, if there were more stars, I would have given them to you. I recommend this book to everyone out there.😍😍😍

3.8 stars. (This review will have some spoilers, you've been warned.)

Sadly, I don't think that any book in this series will ever compare to the magic that was the first book (or the second book for that matter.) But, with that being said....Wow...Kieran and Lake have really grown up. The nostalgia this book made me feel was awesome.

I'll try and make this short, sweet and to the point.

Things that I liked.

- the first 40% of the book was incredible. The plot, the suspense, the way everything was coming together (the hot sex, lol.)

- loved how the other main characters in our crew were woven into the story. They didn't overwhelm it and it gave us just the right amount of them.

- I really liked how we got touches of the "old Keiran". As "swoon-worthy" as the grown-up version is, I think it was pivotal to have those moments where you knew he was struggling with himself. It really showed how far he has come overall. His character development was amazing. You could tell (at least, I could tell that BB must have felt a true connection to him because it was palpable.)

- I like that Lake ended up being the "hero". After spending most of the series being the "submissive"girl who's first reaction was to always give into fear instead of fighting it, it was great to see her come full circle. Although, there were times where she would think and internalize one feeling and completely do another (aka lying all the time), which was frustrating...but such is life. In the end, it was done in a very believable way (meaning she wasn't just some gun wielding action figure hero all of a sudden.) She went through a process and still remained true to herself , just a stronger version now.

Things that didn't quite do it for me....

- after the 40% mark. Things took a weird turn. It was an interesting storyline with the nurse at the facility and her kids...but I guess I never expected thattttt particular avenue/storyline to take up so much of the story. However, it wasn't horrible. I guess what I'm trying to say was that it had great potential but overshot itself and ended up like one giant soap opera.

- Hate to say this...but unlike the other books in the series (no glaring typos in those books at all) - for whatever reason, this book was filledddddd with typos (from misspelled words, to misplaced words, to having to scratch your head to figure out what the author really meant.)

- The long lost grandparents. I didn't really understand the point. I think there were more important things to focus on....or things that shouldddd have been focused on rather than adding that random and unnecessary storyline.

- I hated the "breakup" to make up" towards the end of the book via one of the characters running away for a month before ending up back together again (she did it with Willow and Dash and Shell and Keenan) so I shouldn't have been surprised, but it really irks me.

- (major spoiler) seriously lake? It was the first and only time I can say that she acted like a dumb blonde in the series. I mean, Even I knew there was a secret wedding. When someone (aka your best friend) hands you a white dress and tells you to put it on, and you suddenly notice that every one of your closest friends are all dressed up, & they're taking you someplace special...and your man's mysteriously gone missing...what do you think is going to happen?

However, my most favorite lineeeee was during that scene!

" You promised me a long time ago that when it was all over, you'd bring me to my knees." I let go of her face and took her hand. "I hope one will do."

Seriously, I died of happiness and swooning. Best line everrrr (especially because I remember her saying in book two that she was going to do it!!!!) Annnnd man, she really did!

- I liked the idea of jumping through time and being able to see them after years have passed. However, I would have liked if the "baby" storyline would have happened earlier and not at the very, very, very end. That's something I would have (oddly enough) liked to read a tad bit more about (& usually I hate the pregnancy storylines) but the thought of Kieran becoming a dad really intrigued me. I wished we had more.

-I could already tell the setup for the next series with the whole "Di/ Q/ Jessie" storyline. I'm feeling very "ehhh" about it because, (although I feel bad for Di) I just cannot connect with her. HOWEVER, if Q ends up with Jessie...I think THAT would be kind of awesome. (But from the way it's going....it's going to be Q and Di (after a tried and true love triangle, of course. Which will annoy the hell out of me to no end, lol.)

But, I'll probably read it in hopes of getting more Keiran and Lake, Dash and Willow, and Keenan and Shell.
