Miss Sally Blythe thought she loved a no-good gambler and rake. To make matters worse, common sense flew out the window when she convinced her childhood friend, Will Starret, into a fake engagement. The plot was both silly and slow.

Regrettably, the romance between soul mates did not surface until the last few pages. By then, the ending didn't come fast enough.
