Picked this up at the Dollar store and yes I thought it was worth much more then a Dollar. Each page shows a hugh color picture of a celebrity that has died to young and a bio about the life and death of the celebrity. Funny thing I fell in love with Sid Vicious because of this book. Those bloody pictures of him were so real and beautiful. They did only focused on 10 celebrities but good people like Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, James Dean, Sid Vicious, Elvis and many more. Mostly music Icons but great music icons.
Yeah its sad to say that you might not find this book around today but Im glad I still have my copy. Great book to read or even just flip though the pages and gaze at all the wonderful pictures.

Don't let the slightly lame title put you off. The biographies of each person are well written and give a good overview of the person's life before giving a brief account of their death. Some of the usual candidates are there - James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain etc., but there are some less obvious inclusions too such as Isadora Duncan and Rudolph Valentino. Each chapter is a good starting point if you want to learn about that particular person but if you want more in-depth analysis you can then move on to a full biography.
