The Ipswich Bus

Rate this book
A collection of extraordinary poems for ordinary people, written by Robbie, a fairly ordinary but talented man. If you like your poetry complicated, then this is not the book for you. Robbie writes in a way that is both heart-warming and relatable.
But be prepared for both laughter and tears along the way.
All or any proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated directly to "The Ipswich Outreach Bus Project", which is a small charity aiming to raise money to buy and convert a bus which will be utilised to help the homeless and those in need.

A delightful collection of contemporary poetry, based entirely upon the impressions and observations of the author and written especially to raise funds for a local charity. This book could have been called 'The World According to Robbie'. Great stuff.

No specific setting. 138 pp. A sweet collection of poetry. Nothing earth shattering, but there was something here for every emotion. Originally borrowed from KU but decided to buy a copy since a portion of the proceeds goes toward a homeless charity.

This is in fact a book about poetry. I honestly don't care about poetry at all and this book has not changed that fact. I read through this with no expectations and was not disappointed. In any sense of any number of words I could say how neutral I feel towards this book. You would probably enjoy it if you enjoy poetry as the included poems are good. In summary, it's good, but it's not really what I tend to read.
