If this book was meant for programmers then it lacks a lot of details and information. On the other hand, if this is meant as a tutorial to teach programming, it is not sufficient and it promotes very bad practices.

Despite this I did learn some useful information.

A good basic introduction to the XNA Game Studio. Definitely has a target audience of non-programmers who want to learn. A couple of really good tips about the framework were in there, but if you already know how to code it probably isn't the best book to read.
