This book was really good for a debut and made for an interesting read. What started off as a one-night stand quickly developed into a sexy second chance romance between a boss and his employee. And then there was a surprising twist that I'm still not sure how to take. Left with one heck of a cliffhanger, I'm just glad I have book two waiting on my kindle!

OMG,I knew this book was going to be amazing when in the first paragraph we get, champion cock, yes Logan is amazing another author to add to my favorite list.

Theo doesn't fail at anything, working and a deal to purchase a new bar has made him stressed what better way to release than a great **ck, but it may be more than he bargain for. Penny loves her job at the bar and would love to move up to management but with a new owner who knows if that will happen. when Penny meets him he's familiar but she'll keep that to herself. Theo is an ass. he's arrogant, thinks he knows it all but she's drawn to him which isn't good seeing how she has a boyfriend if you can call Dex that. Penny and Theo know they shouldn't mix business with pleasure but that's just the start of the surprises. I must have bk.2 like now. Great job. It felt real , I read it in one sitting and loved the characters. Copy received in exchange for an honest and Unbiased review

First off, this is an awesome debut novel by Logan. Seriously, I couldn’t put it down. The writing in this book blew me away. I was so consumed with the story line I didn’t realize it was 3 AM when I finished. This is the second male author that has blown me away recently.

Penelope AKA Penny and Theo (love this freaking name) actually met before they start working together. When Penny realizes who Theo is she, is both excited and pissed that Theo doesn’t seem to remember her like she remembers him. It has been a few months, but is she really that forgettable? Instantly these two have a love/hate relationship with each other. Theo and Penny both have an attraction to each other, but there is a fine line between love and hate right?

I love Penny she is a little spitfire who isn’t going to back down no matter what. She stands up for what she believes in regardless of how sexy Theo looks without a shirt on. Theo… OMG this man. Tattoos (check), beard (I LOVE BEARDS… HARD check), single dad (check), cocky prick (sometimes – check), dirty mouth (check), pure perfection (check), and of course ovaries exploded (CHECK)! I adored these two together and the chemistry is off the charts. And then the ending… UGH I need more now!! This book is funny and sexy and I enjoyed every minute! Can’t wait to see what Logan brings next!

When I review a book, I always start out feeling like I am in a magical land with rainbows and unicorns, but then the rain comes and I am standing in a swamp with nothing but darkness. It can take me day’s even weeks with a lot of rewrites before I will even post a review. So, after a lot of head banging and maybe even some tears I have finally finished my review of Like a Boss. 

“Like A Boss” by Logan Chance is his first debut novel and can I just say his writing is amazing. I am in awe of the way this man can write and you will be to once you read his book. The very first paragraph sucks you in, and from that moment on all you want to do is keep reading just so you can see what may happen next. The storyline was great, everything flowed perfectly and he writes in a dual POV which I love.

Now, I am not one to tell you all about the book since I think it takes away from reading it, but I will give you a short run-down.

Theo can be cocky, even somewhat egotistical but his heart is not as cold as you would think.
Penny is a sassy and sexy woman who knows what she wants.
There’s a lot of dirty talk and some great sex scenes, which are some of my favorites now.

If you are looking for something that is hot, sexy and a great story then I would suggest you go and buy this book.

I can’t wait to see what Logan Chance writes next.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Like A Boss in exchange for an honest review.
WOW.... This is Logan Chance's debut novel and I must say it really is amazing, his writing is flawless and the main characters are perfect.

Theo and Penelope meet by chance at a bar that Penny bartends at, they have one hot as hell night of passion but when morning comes Theo wakes up alone and knows that he has to see his silver haired goddess again BUT alas she is nowhere to be found.

Fast forward to the present.....

Theo has bought a bar called The Bearded Goat and their paths yet again cross, only problem being he doesn't recognize her but she instantly knows who he is, fearing she could lose her job she keeps her identity secret.
Logan has captured the chemistry and sexual tension between them perfectly, you get sucked in from page one. Penny is a firecracker, she's sassy as all hell and knows how to press Theo's buttons. Theo is total Alpha with a hidden sweet side with a bit of nerd thrown in too #NerdsForTheWin

All in all an amazing debut and I can't wait for book 2 especially after that ending. 5 panty melting stars. So if you like an Alpha male with a filthy mouth and a strong and sassy heroine then pick this book up on release day, enjoy......

Like A Boss was witty, steamy and full of tension. It was a quick read (finishes around the 80% mark on Kindle) and leaves us with a cliffhanger.

I liked the tension between Penelope and Theo, added with the taboo factor of a boss/employee relationship made for some steamy trysts. Theo has a dirty mouth and man-oh-man was it hot.

I will say one thing about Theo - I hated the fact that he kept blaming Penny for his actions. He would say things such as "This is your fault because you're tempting me" when all she would do is bend down to pick up a crate off the floor. Apparently she can't bend down with her ass in the air without it calling for rude/unwanted comments. Anyways, things of that sort would happen that would make me just a tad pissy :)

Anywho, I liked this book and it was also my first Logan Chance book. I am interested to see what happens in the second book!

On to the next!

Good start for a debut author. This book was enjoyable and had characters that were quite likable. I found Penny to be a take no crap type of gal and she went head to head with her boss Theo when he liked to challenge her knowledge. His lack of remembering her gives her all the more reason to push his buttons. Will he ever remember who she is? Will his past come back to haunt him as he struggles to keep the bar afloat? Is a woman like Penny someone he can trust? Although the book ends with a cliffie, it definitely leaves you thinking. I'm looking forward to the next book. I highly recommend this and hope you'll consider one clicking it

After months of waiting, not so patiently, Like A Boss finally showed up on my kindle. I can't tell you what a treat that was to wake up to! I put everything on hold to read this debut novel by Logan Chance.

Now there was a lot of hype surrounding this book and I was pretty excited about reading it after all of those amazing teasers! What I wasn't prepared for was how far it blew my expectations out of the water! It definitely lived up to expectations and beyond the hype!

Theo Sullivan was amazing. He can melt panties with just his words. Sometimes it's not what a man does, but what he says and with the intensity in which the words are spoken that will be a woman's undoing. What I wouldn't give to have a man talk to me like that.

Theo also has a soft and endearing side that is completely irresistible, making him so easy to fall In love with.

Penny Marks is sarcastic, fun and sexy. She is just the woman to keep Theo on his toes. I love that she challenges him and calls him out on his inexperience of running the bar. Her snarky remarks make it all the better!

Sexual chemistry ....well it was so hot I think my kindle was smokin'! There were moments that were so full of sexual tension and angst, I nearly found it hard to breath. There were also moments I wanted to scream at Theo and flick him in the forehead. The banter between them was amazing and only added to the intensity between them. I found myself smirking at Penny's witty comebacks and sarcastic ways... I loved Penny!

This book was one hot n' steamy debut. I loved every minute of this book, from the opening line to the shocking ending that had me begging and screaming for more! Well played Logan Chance...you've made me a believer and a huge fan!! I can not wait to see what you have in store for us next!

Reasons why you should read Like A Boss:
1. Cuz it will make your lady bits tingle!

This may have been one of the best debut books that I have read in a very long time.
First let me just start by saying the ending made me want to throw my kindle across the room and I may have yelled some not so nice words towards Logan. Ok with that being said this book was Amazing.....Theo is 100% HOT AF!!! Theo first laid eyes on the sassy and spunky Penny when he was trying to grab her attention at a bar, ohhhh and grab it he did. They had one night of passion and the sparks were flying.....they and a instant connection that neither of them could deny.

After a brief time apart Penny walks back into Theo's life, but he does not know its the girl who he could not stop thinking about from all those months ago. Their relationship is rocky to start with each of them pushing the other buttons. They literally LOVE to HATE each other. The push and pull between them is electric and all consuming.

Theo is a dirty talker who can not control himself around Penny. Penny lets his dirty talking set her on fire with want and desire and she cant help herself. Penny is ambitious and just wants to have Theo listen to her ideas for his business, but Theo can not function with her around so he tries to ignore her. We all know that never ends well :)

I cant even get started on this ending.........so I wont....LOL. All I will say is that I love the plot twist and I need the next book like yesterday.

This is Logan's debut book and WOW! Seriously just WOW! It's one of the best debut books I've ever read from an author!

I swear I not only had wet panties but actual hot flashes from the intensity of this book! I may even be running a fever! Yes!!! It was THAT hot!!

Make sure you keep your significant other, hubby or lots of batteries handy for this one! Your gonna need em!

The writing was effortless, the characters so real, the story so realistic and on point. I seriously devoured this book in no time at all.

I loved that Theo wasn't quite who you thought he might be. He has many sides to hisself and really could be someone we all know.

Penelope (or Penny) is just a girl looking to make her mark in life by working hard. She doesn't want to be ruled under her daddy's thumb and busts her ass day in and day out trying to make her mark.

This is not a book your gonna want to read out in public. I definitely don't recommend reading it with anyone over your shoulder either. But I definitely recommend this book!!!

Like a Boss by Logan Chance is a fun, sexy, hot book.

A chance encounter in a bar leads to a hot night of sex for Theo and Penelope. Waking up alone, Theo sets out to find the one girl that could change everything for him. Theo's dream is to own a bar, so, on the recommendation of his lawyer he buys one on South Beach. One that Penelope just happens to work at...only Theo doesn't know this.

This is Logan Chance's debut book and it is beyond amazing. It's well written. From a man perspective he hits the nail on the head every time with the female voice. I really enjoyed this book and I know you will too.

Logan Chance has done a wonderful job with his first published book Like A Boss. I absolutely loved the story line, the characters were well developed and the story flowed evenly throughout the book. The way he wrote about Lucy was so genuine in feeling that it made you wonder if he had someone specifically in mind when he wrote the scenes between her and Theo. As for Penny, I loved her character. Smart, sassy, hardheaded at times, she's a great female character. And then there's Theo. Straight up alpha male. Stubborn, almost to a fault he is a perfect match for Penny. The story line is somewhat predictable but there are a few surprises that keep the story moving very nicely, therefore keeping you guessing, right up to the cliffie! Yes, there is a cliffhanger but it is so written that you will want to grab the next book to see what happens next. I really did love this book and I can't wait to see what happens next. Well done Logan, well done!

This is one of the best books I've read this year, it's amazing! I devoured it in one sitting, I was taken on an emotional roller coaster and spat out at the end. Everything about this book is perfect, the sex scenes literally scorch the pages. Told in dual point of view, which I love. But the ending, why, WHY!!! If the author had been standing in front of me when I finished I would of punched him! A great debut novel and I can't wait for the next book in the series. Wish I could give it more than 5*

This book was awesome. it had everything you could require from a book, great plot, hot sex, plenty of dirty talk and a shocker of a cliffhanger! The writing was slick and the dialogue fast paced and witty I cannot wait to read the next one.
If this is the standard for a debut novel, I'm pretty sure it can only get better and we all may not survive it!

When my book buddies Dawn and Ang are like Jennifer, YOU NEED TO READ THIS (yes they shouted at me) I listened and I’m so glad I did. Like a Boss by Logan Chance is one that sucked me in from the beginning and held me there until the end! This was a great debut for Mr. Chance and I cannot wait to see what else he has up his sleeve! This is a novella to short story length and it does have a cliffy at the end and its one that leaves me saying WHAT THE HELL! Just freaking LOVED IT!!! And yes that is now me shouting! This is also a HOT one with a dirty talker!! You know we love those dirty talkers!! I give this one 4 ½ stars and will be looking forward to what’s next.

Theo just bought a bar and knows nothing about running it. One night he decided to stop at a local hot spot to check it out. Doesn’t hurt that he’s also looking for a little female distraction. But all the ladies of South Beach seem to plastic and fake to him. But the bartender catches his eye. There is something about her that intrigues him. They end up having a one night stand but there is just something about her that stays with him long after the night is done. All he knows is that her name is Penelope and when he goes back to the bar looking for her, it’s like she never existed.

Penny has been working at the tiki bar for a couple of weeks when she finds out the bar has been sold. Nobody knows anything about the new owner and when Penny meets him, she quickly remembers the one night stand she had months ago. It was hot and not something she normally did but it seems she’s the only one that remembers. Because she was wearing a wig, Theo doesn’t recognize her. But the chemistry they share is off the charts. Penny is sassy and has no problem putting Theo in his place. She has idea and aspirations for the bar but Theo makes it impossible to move forward.

Just when it looks like things will smoothen out for Theo and Penny, Penny’s absent boyfriend comes back into the picture in a big way. I never saw the twist coming and now I’ll be waiting for the next installment to the story! This was a great story that just sucked me in! I will definitely be watching out for Logan Chance and adding him to my authors to watch list! Go one click this one, you will not be sorry!

OMG!! I finally got to read this debut novel by Logan Chance. Several months now I have been eagerly waiting for this books release and to then be given the opportunity to read an ARC was amazing.
After reading the synopsis and having a sneak peek at an excerpt I had a feeling this book was going to be brilliant. Little did I realise how much I would love this book. From the storyline to the characters to the twists and everything in between this is exactly what I love in a book and more!!
Theo and Penelope are feisty. Their working relationship had me laughing out loud they are a fun entertaining couple to read about. The vivid detail Logan Chance put into writing the chemistry between these two had their interactions and sex scenes at a flaming HOT level. There were also moments of angst and heart melting scenes that stirred all emotions. To say I was glued to the pages of this book is an understatement. I hope everyone goes out and buys this book because it is not to be missed! I'm eager to read more about Theo and Penelope. Congratulations Logan Chance on an awesome debut novel.

Received a copy of this book for an honest review.
To say that I was intrigued and completely spellbound is a slight understatement. This storyline was filled with sexual tension that could melt your panties.
Theo is a new bar owner trying to make sure everything stays afloat. He has never done this before and when he meets one of his bartenders the clash instantly. She irritates him with her sassy mouth but turns him on at the same time.
Penny is desperate to finally get some of her ideas for the bar implemented. Lady luck however is not on her side. Her first day she is late something she never is and the shocks keep coming when she meets her new boss. He doesn't remember who she is and now that she realizes what a jerk he is she is glad. He shoots down every idea she has. The problem is she also can't stop thinking about him.
The need is equal between them but so are a few unspoken revelations. This book was a fantastic read that definitely left me wanting more. I can't wait to see how this story progresses.

I read this book a wee while back and just realised I forgot to review it.
I loved it, I loved Penny's sass, I loved Theo's dirty mouth, I loved the chemistry between these two!
This is a seriously well written book for a Debut and I suspect Logan's writing will only get better!
Theo and Penny meet in a bar and instantly hit it off so much so they hook up but she disappears leaving Theo to wonder if she was even real. Fast forward and they meet again but Theo doesn't recognise her but Penny knows exactly who he is and let the fireworks begin!
I loved the fact this book didn't have any over the top drama or angst, sometimes we just need an easy read. I will say this book has some off the charts hot as hell scenes.
Also be warned it does end on a cliffhanger but don't worry book 2, Love A Boss isn't too far away!

Logan blew me away with this debut. This was a seriously hot read that had heat from the very first chapter all the way to the end. It will also seriously having you holding your breath as you wait for reality to kick in for Theo. That ending literally made me gasp in shock, and now I will be anxiously awaiting book 2 to see where this series is headed. This book was everything I anticipated and more. Well done Logan.

I went into this book completely blind (which is how I prefer it) and was quickly sucked into a storyline I love. I found myself inhaling this book hoping to get as much of the story as quickly as possible.

Penny is a firecracker, her energy and obvious love for what she does really grabbed my attention. That kind of passion makes a character stand out. Her quick wit and sassy attitude is why she'll stick with me in the future.

Theo was tall, dark, and handsome. He was cocky but, honest his views on women cracked me up. While he worked hard he relied on luck more than common sense. It was hard for me to believe that such an intelligent man didn't understand the basics of how a bar was run like, themed nights would draw more customers or what top shelf liquor meant. I can understand why he was written this way, it put more emphasis on how knowledgeable and passionate Penny was about the bar but, it made him come off as lacking to me.

While the storyline had me on the edge of my seat it had a few spots that seemed rushed or didn't flow as smoothly as it could. Overall it was a solid start for a debut author. I am hooked on this series and these characters. I am waiting on pins and needles for the second book and really look forward to seeing what this author does in the future.

This book is wicked! The pages wore scorching hot from start to finish. Theo Sullivan has a filthy mouth but is oh so painfully handsome, hot and sexy as hell! And behind that bad boy façade, is one loving, affectionate person. Your new book boyfriend has arrive. Penelope is one feisty woman than can hold her own and will not allow to be pushed around. She’s strong and determined to prove herself to the world, new boss included.
I love the undeniably strong chemistry between Theo and Penelope. It’s off the charts! Plus the love-hate work relationship between them made the story spicier. They clash a lot and I love the aftermath. This book will consume you…corrupt you, will make you squirm in your seat and if you must convulse while reading it…no worries! Let’s just blame it all to Logan Chance, ‘coz he sure does know how to do it. BUT…it ends up in a freaking cliffhanger!!! What. A. Tease! But it’s all good. We have something to look forward to…hoping it won’t take too damn long! Lol.
So this is my first book from Logan Chance and I must say, it’s pretty darn good. Not bad for a first book, eh?
This was given to me as ARC in exchange for an honest review. Well, I’m giving this book 5 hot stars and I did enjoyed it. Can’t wait to read more from this author. Hats off to you, Logan Chance!

#LikeABoss is the debut novel by Logan Chance, and I've been talking a lot about it on Twitter... now let me tell you what this story is about.

Theo is a business man who bought a bar and he's focused to make it succeed. One night he meet Penelope, has amazing sex with her in the beach and then she was nowhere to be found. Cinderella style.

But Theo wasn't the only one affected by that night. Penelope had vivid memories about the unknown man of the beach.

When they met each other again, Theo didn't recognize her, but it was a good thing 'cause now he was her boss.

This novel was an fantastic debut. The author had build some amazing characters and an addictive storyline. Theo's bossy and has a filthy mouth, Penelope's stubborn and will fight for what she wants. The chemistry between them is electric, and you cannot put this book down until the last page. And even then, you will wanna know more!

This book is off the hotness meter

This was a great 5 star read, I love it when a book keeps you intrigued that you don't want to put it down, Like A Boss was that for me. Logan Chance did a great job reeling you in Cover to Cover, I mean page 1.

I love that Theo has no idea who Penny actually is, I love the fact even more that she knows exactly who he is and still finds was to bite back with her Witty Sarcastic mouth and piss him off in ways that only make him harder than he's ever been in his life.

The sex in this book is hot as hell and gives whole new to meaning to dining at the bar.

Like A Boss ends with a cliffhanger... Which I both love and I hate. I love it because now I am thinking up how I think Book 2 will go (although disclaimer, I'm not always right). And I hate it because well I'm not a very patient person. Anyway either way you need to grab your copy today and devour this fantastic erotic read.
