Good book for what it is; lighthearted read that was a nice counterbalance to the other books I’ve been reading. Quick read, effectively a cat picture book with fun facts sprinkled throughout. Good coffee table book.

Because sometimes it's just fun to read a book full of cat related objects. While generally fun, the book got a bit repetitive at points. There are only so many cat toys they can include to beef up the list before you're like... yes that is yet another manifestation of string. Still, interesting to see cats in culture through the ages and a quick read. Also interesting to see just how many people purchased that black cat clock in the 50's
