This is a nice copy. Pages are clean. Binding is tight. Spine and covers look good. There's a name written on the bottom of the pages. Otherwise, the book is very clean and like new.
I have been using this textbook (not the full curriculum) as a reference resource for a homeschool co-op I teach. I absolutely love the illustrations. The creative way of forming units by focusing on man made and natural wonders, biography, world story, etc allows the authors to progress rapidly through all of history in two textbooks, hitting all major civilizations, monuments, and the rise and fall of empires. Of course there are things left out that I hoped would be there, but the authors can hardly be blamed in this impressively broad scope. Even more impressive is the accuracy and lack of denominational preference or offense with which they present the Christian faith. My family will definitely keep this book in our permanent library.
Solid content. Project ideas are fun. Great support materials (separate books). Timeline book is great. One quirky thing: EVERYTHING is made by God. This peninsula, That sea. Even crackers and cheese (in the projects!)I get it. God is the creator. I'm with you there, believe me--I'm a Christian. But some things come about due to the subcreation activity of humans. And it becomes a bit redundant at times.
