Bubba Heard a Mouse
Bubba Heard a Mouse (Calling for Help) is the story of a little mouse in big trouble!
When Little Mouse gets her tail caught in a rusty old trap late one night, no one can hear her calls for help … except for Bubba, a French Bulldog with big ears that never sleep.
Cautiously coming to the rescue, Bubba finds that saving a little mouse is a lot harder and scarier than he imagined.
So he sets out on a quest to get help from an incredible assortment of friends, including three fearless Frenchies, a couple of kind, thoughtful ones, too, a bacon-loving Pit Bull, an amazing surfer dog, a canine crime-fighter and a wise, mysterious Boston Terrier.
Along the way, Bubba learns some very important lessons – like how to be brave when you’re afraid, how to be strong and gentle at the same time, and who to ask for help when you need help the most.
A SPECIAL NOTE to parents, teachers and Bubba Heard a Mouse is an illustrated chapter book for AGES 4-8 that can also be read to younger children and enjoyed by older kids, too.

Cute story about a Frenchie saving a little mouse!
Bubba Heard a Mouse by Bubba's Dad has adorable watercolor illustrations and a cute story to go with them. Bubba Heard the cries of a trapped mouse and tried to help by asking several interesting characters. Cute story.

This book is well written and has amazing illustrations. This story shows compassion, friendship and it showcases great problem solving skills. This book is very well written and the illustrations are amazing. I think children of all ages (this child is 51!) will love this adorable book. I know that I will be purchasing this book for my grandchild and many for the children of our community. I will also be sharing it during our Summer Reading Program.

I feel the story goes for a bit too long, but it is cute. A child who loves dog will enjoy this.

This sweet story made me laugh out loud...
I can’t wait to share this with my 7 year old granddaughter! 5 stars for originality, entertaining characters and eye catching illustrations (although I would have liked to have seen a few more). Thank you Bubba’s Dad, I will be following you—respectfully, a fellow author of children’s books.

The most adorable book for pet lovers. I love Bubba. I am cool on the mouse but some children enjoy them. Shorty was hilarious. He reminds me of myself. I love everything tacos as he loves everything bacon. I think Ashton would love this. I think it is too long for Zuri still.

I know the author and his beloved Bubba. Bubba was a special pet that entered many people's lives and hearts. The author has captured his spirit in all of his books and is currently writing a new one to honor Bubba and his life while on earth. These books are great reads for children and adults.
