***Buyer/Reader Beware***
Like many readers when selecting a title, I choose carefully, whether it’s an Amazon purchase or an advanced reading copy. Like some it’s because we have busy lives outside the reading community and time can be a precious commodity. Like others it’s because there are certain content we seek to find or to avoid in order to optimize our reading pleasure. Also like many readers in the romance genre, I have certain tastes and most definitely certain expectations of romance, one of which being an HEA.

HEA, an acronym for “happily ever after,” or more specifically short for the phrase many of us have heard since reading stories as little girls, “they lived happily ever after.” The key word now being they, a plural pronoun referring to the romantic lovers featured in the story. In this day and age it certainly doesn’t have to be one man and one woman, but they clearly implies a romantic unit. More than one.

Like many of my Goodreads friends, I find it useful when books are listed with certain tags or disclaimers. It helps readers find the right books while avoiding content, plots, and tropes they wish to steer clear of. Aside from the interesting plot description of Dirty Hacker, I was pleased with the following statement that accompanied the review sign-up:

Dirty Hacker is a steamy standalone alpha billionaire romance novel. It’s only recommended for audiences 18+. No cheating. No cliffhangers. Guaranteed HEA.”

And then again in the front matter of the ARC, it reiterates before the story begins, “There are no cliffhangers and no cheating. HEA.”

As the story progressed and the plot began to unravel, I had my doubts about the favorable outcome of this novel. But in my mind, I kept going back to the assurance at the beginning of the book—HEA.

To say that I felt frustrated would be an understatement. To say that I felt cheated would be spot on. Readers trust that book disclosures such as “No cheating. No cliffhangers. Guaranteed HEA” given by the authors are to be true. When those statements are no longer trustworthy, readers feel duped, and must rely even more on the book community for honest, unbiased reviews.

Imagine my disgust after closing the last page to find that the assurance of an HEA was not only incredibly misleading, but now as an ARC reviewer I was being asked to withhold my honest review:
“If you feel this story deserves less than a 4-star rating, please refrain from leaving your review on Amazon and contact me,” reads the author's note.

Unequivocally, placing stipulations or conditions on any review, whether it be an ARC or a verified purchase, negates the entire purpose of reviews being honest and unbiased. It affects the integrity of the entire review system. Readers must then be skeptical of every review they read. Did this title have all 4 and 5 stars because it’s so stunning? Or were all reviews rating less than 4 stars withheld? Those are both valid question every reader is forced to ponder when statements like the one above appear in books. Furthermore, ARC readers are not here to “fix any issues before the book goes live.” That’s what editors and beta readers are for. Reviewers provide analysis and honest opinions as post publication feedback to the author and to assist other readers in selecting books. For example…

Dirty Hacker is an engaging, compelling coming of age story that exposes the dangers of naivety and trusting too easily, letting emotions blind you, and thrills cloud your judgment. Told via eighteen year old social recluse Sophie Hanson’s sole first person POV, the reader is introduced to the radical hacking group The Alliance which Sophie becomes enthralled with as she hones her hacking skills. Reaching out to them, Sophie meets the attractive, alluring, and mysterious Preston Phillips, 37. She becomes immersed in his spell, following his commands while still living largely in the dark about the rest of the group’s members and activities.

As a coming of age story with strong themes of naivety, innocence, and corruption as well as finding a place to belong, this should almost be a must read in the modern, technological, social media obsessed world for all young adults. However, the story has a very strong erotic theme; it’s most definitely a hot and bothered read for adults. So perhaps the new adult market is where this fits best. More specifically though, the new adult, dark, erotic, suspense market is what this story is really geared towards. I hesitate strongly to classify it as romance as ultimately that’s not what the reader gets. While the climax of the plot is certainly jaw dropping, and the story (until the very end) is engaging enough to easily keep readers turning pages, it is the ending, in my opinion, that was the epic fail. Not only did it feel flat and unfulfilling, but it failed to provide the critical traditional HEA it implied and instead offered up a twist that will leave many romance readers feeling deceived.

Ultimately after much thought, I’ve decided to settle on 2 stars rating as an accurate summation of my opinion of this novel. This number takes into account various literary aspects, marketing in terms of the intended reading audience, and other factors that contributed to my enjoyment of the book. While the intriguing premise, mystery aspect, and engaging dark antagonist could warrant 4 stars, the ending and the lack of true romance is most definitely a 1 star. Since the ending is the final feeling a story leaves you with, it carries more weight.

4.5 SUPER SEXY STARS*****

Wow! Wow! Wow!!!

Sophie Hanson recently graduated high school; she's lived her life hiding behind a computer, she's always felt like an outsider at school, has no friends and has always felt lost, like she doesn't really belong anywhere. She got accepted into the Harvard Computer Engineering program, but she's not entirely convinced that college is what she wants to do with her life. But what she's absolutely sure is that she wants to become a computer hacker, the best one there is.

For years she has been learning about coding, and fire walls, online is where she feels at home. Now her goal is to become a member of the biggest hacker group there is, so she will dedicate her summer to achieve that.

Her tenacity pays off and she finds an in, a man, Preston Phillips, not other than the head of the hacker group has agreed to train her but only via email. They start talking and training for weeks, but Sophie wants more, she wants to meet the man who's behind the computer screen. After much hesitation he agrees to meet Sophie, and as soon as she sees him, he takes her breath away. She can't believe her eyes, not only is this man brilliant but also devastatingly handsome.

Sophie and Preston develop a relationship that goes beyond hacking, it becomes physical and also dangerous. Preston will show Sophie a whole new world, not only an online world but one full of pleasures and also pain.

Sophie has never felt more alive than when she is with Preston, the sex between them is hot and passionate but also illicit, but neither of them can't get enough. Sophie is consumed by her new world and her decadent lover, she trusts him with everything she's got, but should she, trusting so blindly?

No more I can say about this story without giving too much away, and this unpredictable story is better enjoyed if you go in blind. I never expected how complex and delicious the plot was going to be, I'm very impress by both of these authors. They took me on a thrilling ride, full of passion and great entertainment. I couldn't get enough and now I'm desperate for more.

I love a girl who doesn't mind getting her hands dirty. While it was really hard to not go out of my mind while reading Sophie's thoughts throughout this book, I really liked how realistic the authors made her character out to be. Sophie's 18 years old, on the brink of womanhood. She's been a loner up until now because she just didn't know how to fit in. She classifies herself as socially awkward. She's lost and confused about who she is and who she wants to be until she comes across The Alliance, which is a group of hackers run by the mysterious billionaire, Preston Phillips. So Sophie figures out that she is meant to be a hacker too. Preston offers to train her and during this they engage in a pseudo Dominant-Submissive relationship. There's a bit of subterfuge in the mix and under Preston's tutelage, Sophie learns a hard lesson and accepts some hard truths about herself.

I liked the concept of the story. It's not an oft-used plot and I found that quite refreshing. I was surprised by the age of the heroine, especially because of the subject matter covered in this story, but it worked for the most part. The entire book is in Sophie's POV and she comes across as immature, awkward, inconsiderate and selfish. But her intelligence was evident as well. I think she acted her age, especially for the stage she was at in her life. The biggest issue I had with this book was the sex scenes. They were erotic, hot and explosive, however, every time I remembered how young and inexperienced Sophie was in the circumstances, I cringed. It wasn't enough to take away from my overall enjoyment of the story, but it definitely lingered in the back of my mind. But that's just me.

I feel like this book ended a bit unfinished. Is this the start of a series?

So, despite my rating I did find this book kind-of-okay in certain parts but I had a GIGANTIC issue with the fact that when I bought this book from amazon, it was marketed as a romance story, which it is most certainly not.

It is a coming of age story and a new adult story of lust that includes many a steamy scenes but it most definitely does not have a happy romantic ending.

And to be called a story about an alpha male billionaire? You mean a millionaire criminal who manipulated an innocent person into committing a crime all the while sleeping with her and toying with her emotions? He picked apart the most vulnerable characteristics of a person and used them against her to serve his own illegal purpose. My problem isn't with that plot, because that makes him one serious bad character which would of been well and good, but he is not an alpha male. This is why so many people get left with a bad taste when they read books about 'alpha males' because too many alpha characters seem almost abusive to their romantic interest and it sends a message that that kind of relationship is A-OKAY.

I have also seen multiple review that when first published, this book even stated that it had a HEA (happily ever after), which is completely false. A HEA insinuates that the two main love interests are the ones that have a nice romantic ending, not that they have a horrible relationship which is all a manipulative lie and one character ends up kind of piecing her life back together and starting a relationship with a brand new character in the very last chapter!

Honestly, if this had been marketed properly, less romance more mystery/crime (obviously it's not a typical crime novel but it had undercurrents of such), I might have rated it higher. But honestly, even without the romance issue I didn't enjoy the story that much. It was all over the place and so many things seemed to have absolutely no use to the plot or story.

WARNING: This book has NO HEA, and a horrible twist.

This book started out with such promise, and I was looking forward to reading it. I really was, and thought it would be as good as some books I've read by these authors in the past. I was horribly disappointed.

~~Spoiler~~

I expected an HEA ending between Sophie and Preston. That's usually the POINT of these kinds of stories. There was no HEA for them. There was a HORRIBLE twist of Preston betraying Sophie, and Sophie turning on him after finding out who he really was. Seriously, the two do not end up together in an HEA. That just makes this whole book feel pointless to me, as well as completely RUINS it for me.

The authors tried putting Sophie with someone else at the end, and while that was a good character, it did nothing to save this book because it was already ruined. Had it been Bradley she was with from the start, then it would have been fine. But it wasn't Bradley, it was Preston. Preston who I expected her to have an HEA with. The ending was just horrible, with a sad taint and a cliffhanger. The book was just so disappointing and horrible, and I hated it. I'll never reread it, and it honestly breaks my trust with these authors and makes me weary of reading another book by them. Had the ending been BETTER with Sophie and Preston being together and Preston not being twisted the way he was and using her, it would have been a good book. But that just RUINED this book. I was gifted a copy.

Also, the author said that this book didn't have a 'traditional HEA'... but that's a lie. There's NO HEA PERIOD. Which, I suppose, goes with the original lie told by the authors when they claimed there was a 'guaranteed HEA' in the original blurb. A 'guaranteed' HEA means the couple you follow through the book ends up together. Not one of them with a random different person.

And, even though Sophie is involved with Bradley, she's lying to him about being a hacker, and has this whole other secret life. Yeah, that's not a healthy relationship, and not likely to last. And the way that she saw that horrible, depressing video at the end, and then went back to the hacking life? It was a horrible way to end the book, basically a cliffhanger, and I hated it.

Also another note, I'm upset with the author for a note at the back of the book, which states:
“If you feel this story deserves less than a 4-star rating, please refrain from leaving your review on Amazon and contact me”
The point of having ARC readers is for them to give their HONEST feelings on the book in their reviews. Not just the lying, sugar coated version to help rake in sells by lying to other readers. I decided to leave an HONEST review to warn other readers about this book, so they know what they're getting into, and my honest feelings is that this book isn't even a full one star, and isn't worth the time or money. I wish I'd never read it.

Sophie Hanson is 18-years old introvert & has just graduated from high school. She is a self-taught computer genius living her life in cyber space. She has spent many years following a hacker group called The Alliance & she would give anything to be a part of them. When she watches a video posted on their blog regarding some underhanded nasty business the government is involved with, she finally hacks her way into contacting The Alliance. Much to her surprise, her request is answered but she has to plead her case before the person on the other end agrees to taker her seriously. That person turns out to be 37-year old billionaire Preston Phillips & he is cautious about letting Sophie in because of her age & lack of experience. He does agree to train her but doesn't promise her admittance to The Alliance. But Sophie is determine to prove herself & make in at any cost. After a few months of tutoring by texts & emails, they finally decide to meet in public. There is an immediate attraction between them. As they continue to work on Sophie's hacking skills, Preston makes his intentions clear. He is honest that he wants Sophie but that his desires are dark & that he is into domination & submission. So Sophie researches the subject of submission & she believes herself capable of being what Preston wants. Sophie wants to give her innocence to Preston & enjoy what he has to offer. As they explore their carnal wants & needs with each other, Preston finally allows Sophie to be part of The Alliance. She part takes in a mission & he is more than happy with her part in the whole scheme. But what happens after brings Sophie to question her whole relationship with Preston. Then she learns a truth from a news report that has her reeling & not knowing what to believe anymore. Will Sophie be able to cope with the truth? Will Sophie confront Preston now that she knows the truth? What does Sophie's future look like now?

This younger women falling for an older man is a dark romance. It is about diving in head first without looking to see if the pool is full of water first & wondering if you can make it out of the deep end. When you're young & in love for the first time not much matters, you're own faith takes you for a ride. Maturity teaches us that things like trust & honesty are fundamental building blocks in relationships but often times over looked by the inexperienced. This story shows how someone with power of another can take advantage of an innocent mind & twist to their liking. But not all manipulation goes without its own reward in this story. I very much liked this second book by the duo authors Tia Lewis & Roxie Sinclaire. I sure hope they write more wicked books together! The book is for mature readers with lots of kink & BDSM...... most of it is HOT!!

okay. I'm not too sure where to start with this, so let me start with the beginning. the opening chapters were about losing your best friend. I thought that would come into play here since it hurt out heroine so much. it didn't. it really felt like it was a pointless beginning. I know he comes back after the whole book has happened. but again, the whole book is over. so again, it's pointless. for me I don't think something should be such a big deal have such an impact, if it's not going to be a key player in the storyline. the whole storyline.

moving on to the hacker and her billionaire. so much of this made me uneasy and just didn't come across right. I know our character was 18. I know she was naïve and immature, that part was delivered well. but so much of the storyline felt like it was an internal monologue of an immature girl. maybe it's the writing style, I'm not sure. but it made me skim a large, and I mean over half, of the book.

let's move on to the hero, actually let's just call him Preston. his hot and cold, off and on got really annoying. he didn't come off as a Dom to me. he came off as a jerk who pouted like a toddler when he didn't get his way.

moving to the sex. I don't have problems with sex, virgins, instalove, none of it. but to me it felt like the authors tried to grab everything they could and shove it in one book, and it made it unbelievable. virgin. check. unbelievable sex the first time. check. second time. check. squirt. check. foot up on the table. check. Sir. check. remote control. check. public. check. almost caught. check. teenage rebellion. check. naivety. check. do you see where I'm going? and so on and so on. it felt like there wasn't one focus. the bdsm mark felt completely missed to me, minus the Sir. not only that, her thought process during sex were here too, weird. the sex was too over the top for someone who was a virgin. between how they talked to each other during, to how she reacted to it (squirting her second time having sex). it just didn't jive.

while the synopsis was intriguing and caught me. I felt like the story line felt like it was everything and the kitchen sink. it was too much.

lastly, I'm not a fan of this supposed HeA. you tell me HEA and I think of the main characters, not someone you randomly introduce into the story at the end of the book. so that really bothered me.

okay, this is really lastly. please don't ask me to hold my review if it's under 4 stars. that makes the reviews on your book biased and untrustworthy. I feel bad when I don't like a book, but I don't think anyone has the right to ask me not to review it.

4 Stars!

Welcome to the world of anonymity... where secrets are never really kept secret.

Dirty Hacker is a hot, sexy, and scandalous new standalone bursting it's suspenseful self into the romance world and making marks. This book was encompassed from start to finish with a world of secrets, suspense, lies, mystery, lust and erotica. Nothing like I expected but definitely an interesting journey, Tia and Roxy took me for a ride that was unforgettable and definitely left a mark.

Warning before I move forward, this review will be as spoiler free as possible... due to twists, turns, and surprises that are thrown out of this book along the way.

This is Sophie's story. This is her journey and her moment... to tell her truths and her side of the story. This is about her discovering herself, her limits, and maybe finding love along the way. Her story was unconventional, intense, raw, passionate, naughty, and quite gritty at times. I liked Sophie from the start... a little innocent, somewhat naive, and a whole lot of smart behind that young smile. I admired her.. and rooted for HER.

I definitely recommend this book.

Sophie is 18 and naïve ok. She falls "in love" for a man who makes her discover sexuality. ok. 2 stars. Then he uses her to rob a bank, she doesn't try to know more... stupid. She heard of it on tv and in 2 seconds her feelings vanish... Lucky her. And in 5 minutes she destroys him because she's the greatest hacker in the world, better than federals. seriously? what a disappointment...

I'm giving this 3.75 stars. It started out really slow for me but about 37% it took a turn and really had me. I loved Sophie and her going after what she wanted. She refused to be taken lightly.
I enjoyed the way the book went. I can't go into detail without giving it away but it all worked out.
Now though I wonder if there is or will be another book involving Sophie and the way her life turned? Left a few questions for sure. Even with the online hackers group.

Title: Dirty Hacker
Author: Tia Lewis & Roxy Sinclaire

5 unforgettable stars

My first dip in the water with a book by Tia Lewis & Roxy Sinclaire was nothing like I would have expected and I loved it! It wasn't like any other novel, starting off slowly, learning more about who Sophie was and how her love of hacking began. I can't say that she led the most fascinating life because let's face it, as a lner, she kept to herself and as innocent and naive as she is, Sophie never let it stop her from getting what she wants, which happens to be Preston and The Alliance. As the leader of the group, Preston is impressed by her self taught abilities and agrees to train her - in hacking and submission.

4.5 sexy dreams stars

As a couple, these two were fascinating - I kept reading more and faster just so I could know what would happen next. Preston is more than willing to teach Sophie about sensuality and embracing it, taking his time to show her the joys of intimacy. And when things between The Alliance and their relationship took a turn I didn't expect, my smirk of approval towards Sophie's actions didn't leave my lips until the last page.

✫✫✫ POSSIBLE SPOILER ✫✫✫

Was it THE happily ever after that I (and undoubtedly many others) expected? Absolutely not. But what I can say is that when I finished those last words, my first thought that came to mind was 'you go girl!' i wasn't expecting it but I sure as heck wasn't disappointed. I loved it - it gave me the closure I needed and that made it all worth it. Dirty Hacker was, in my opinion, worth every minute and I hope these authors write together again.

This was an interesting story, not quite what I was expecting. We follow Sophie as she gets into something that she doesn't fully understand. She has been fascinated with computers and the coding since she got her first one. She has never exactly fit in or had friends since her best friend left when she was 10. So she puts all her efforts into the computer and as she's graduating high school gets involved with a group that preaches some out there ideas and professes to just want to do good. This makes Sophie want to be a part of it desperately. You never quite know if the leader is good or bad but you get a weird vibe from him the whole time. He is older and takes more than just a professional interest in Sophie. There is explicit sex that borders on the kinky. Sophie was completely innocent before meeting Preston and so things progress slowly on the kinky/BDSM side that Preston is introducing her to. The story focuses on the hacking primarily. It's nothing too over the top for the ordinary computer person to understand. The story doesn't get too technical or make you feel like you are missing information because of that. It didn't really feel like a romance story to me so be aware of that. It was a good story and Sophie was a very interesting character. There is a happy ending and things work out.

3* read.

This a book thats really difficult to review. As stated at the end of my review copy that if I can't rate this 4* or higher then im not to put my review on amazon. I was gifted this copy to give my honest opinion of the story so to be told that it has to be 4* or higher for my review to be allowed actually really upset me. As a reader I respect the amount of work that goes into a book but as a reader i should be allowed to give my own rating no matter what. I always give reasons for my mark and am never nasty and I'd hope that the author would respect my review the same way I've respected their book. Like i say to see that at the end of my copy really upset me and I thought it was unnecessary.

Tbh I wont be saying much more about this book. The promise was there, the writing flowed really well and I enjoyed the idea of the story but for me the ending was abrupt and unfinished and really let the book down. With a different ending this would be a much better read and would feel less unfinished like it does now.

Sophie Hansen is a recent high school graduate. At 18, you'd think she has done and see all. Nope she is innocent as a blooming flower. So it comes as no surprise that she is a loner, but excels in intelligence department for computers. So when a chance to join a secret group comes up, she jumps in with both feet first. Led by the handsome and mysterious Preston Phillips. She falls hook, line and sinker. But something keeps nagging at her. Could her dad be right and she's just being lead around?

Kudos to both authors because this is a story that stands alone for all the right reasons. It doesn’t fit into any scenario that I could have possibly imagined and it is all the better for that fact, because this is about as unique as you can probably get.
From the first page, heck no scrap that from the prologue, this kept me slightly off kilter and completely bamboozled but by the time I finally got a handle on the storyline or at least what I thought was going on in the storyline, it was almost a hostage situation, I couldn’t have put it down even if I had wanted to!
Never in a month of Sundays would I have ever put not only this scenario but these characters together…
Sophie was a superb and I especially liked the way that as the passage of the book progressed we started to see her come out of her shell, this initially shy, reserved young woman, grew into her own skin before my eyes, she evolved on almost every page and her evolution intrigued me.
Preston on the other has was the complete opposite, he had no reservations about who and what he was, about who and what he wanted from life and about how he was going to achieve his goals. This wealthy but demanding man uses his charm like a weapon and oozed through live with an air of alpha dominance that hinted towards menace and should have given me a precursor as to what was to come but then again why, nothing could have clued me on what was to come.
This pair were like chalk and cheese but that didn’t mean that there was a superb story to be found in their coming together. Their story touched on modern day issues that in some respects could serve as an indictment of how we not only live but communicate with others. Sophie may have been a wiz when it came to computers but remove the screen and it was a whole different ballgame…how many of us are that way? Probably far too many to count.
Seduced by the lure of joining the online hackers “The Alliance” she naively accepts things at face value when Preston invites her to join their throes but no sooner is she part of the collective than she is out of favour and doing everything she can to show Preston that he needs her onside.
But is her desperation to impress what he was working on all along because he does nothing without a backup plan and he certainly has plans for Sophie…namely the fact that he sees her as more than a hacker, he sees her belonging to him…this is definitely a MINE scenario.
As they begin to work together, their connection deepens to the point where for what Preston feels for her is verging on being an obsession.
But is that what she wants and needs? A man to control her; to dominate and direct her?
I wasn’t sure and she did help me out by clarifying the situation, she seemed to give off mixed signals, she almost revelled in his attention but was it all too much?
I think the author worked magic with the suspense of the implication and intimation of their situation, of the depth of the relationship between Sophie and Preston and the intensity of the physical relationship between the two of them and honestly ladies you may need a very large cool drink close to hand, because this leaves nothing out of the equation when it comes to the physicality between the two of them, it is pure filth!
With enough twists and turns to give me whiplash, this has more than a few WTF moments and a liberal smattering of situations that will bring a rosy glow to your cheeks – if you blush easily, you may have to read alone!

I am a sucker for anything "hacker" related (nerds are life.) That being said, I was super excited to read this story. Before writing this review, I did something I don't normally do; I scanned some previously written reviews.Though most give the typical type of review, I was intrigued by the lengthy two star review and decided to read what my fellow reviewer had to say. We all have different tastes and feelings regarding what constitutes a good story and as reviewers, I feel like we should be completely honest with the reviews for both the reader and author. The reviewer was extremely upset about the HEA guarantee at the beginning of the story. Without ruining the story, it does have a happy ending... whether you agree with it or not is up to you, the reader.
Anyway, now that my rant is over, I can continue my review...
Sophia isn't your "typical" teenage girl, she's a loner and has found comfort and a career choice within her beloved computer.
Drawn in by an eye-opening video, she becomes obsessed with joining the secretive hacking group, the alliance. With persistence and determination she manages to meet an elite member of the group and so begins her adventure.
Preston Phillips is a self-made billionaire that has a secret. He is a member of the elite hacking group, the allegiance. He finds something in Sophie and decides to train her.
This book is an emotional Rollercoaster. One minute, you're instantly Sophie, a shy and stubborn teenager with no friends and no experience with anything. The next, you're holding your breath to see if her determination has paid off and where it leads. I love, love, love how strong her character turned out to be and much her determination paid off.
If you're like me and love everything hacker, read this. you will love it. The twists and turns will leave you with your jaw on the floor.

enjoy!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Sophie is a computer genius fresh out of high school, looking to join the online hacker group, The Alliance.  Preston Phillips, billionaire, is the leader of The Alliance. Preston welcomes her with open arms. It seems he's not only picked her for her hacking skills, but for much more. As soon as Sophie is welcomed into the group, she is dismissed. She devises a plan to get Preston's attention, his full attention, to prove she would make a good ally. Preston sees her as more than an ally. He sees her as his. As Sophie immerses herself into Preston's world, they become closer. Preston is almost obsessive about her, needing to guide her and control her. Preston is different than other guys her age. He's richer, experienced and darker. Everything Sophie wanted, or at least she thought she did.
Preston is domineering, controlling and dark....oh, older, experienced and sexy too. What's not to love? He is showing interest in a much younger, smart, beautiful Sophie. Sophie loves that he gives her all this attention. She's not used to that. She hasn't felt that way since before her best friend moved away years earlier. I had conflicting emotions about this, but Sophie seemed to be really enjoying her time with Preston. I mean who wouldn't? He is the total package, right?
GREAT BOOK !    VERY ORIGINAL STORYLINE AND CHARACTERS !   SUSPENSEFUL AND INTRIGUING !
After reading the prologue, I was totally hooked, but I didn't know what to expect either. THIS BOOK EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS !  TONS OF RAW, DIRTY SEX ! ! !   HUGE TWISTS  WITH "WOW, I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING" MOMENTS ! (I loved the unexpected twists, not your typical, mundane storyline...very refreshing!)
AWESOME BOOK !  A DEFINITE ONE-CLICK ! ! !

At first, Sophie seems awfully lonely, like she doesn't deserve to be happy, loved and wanted. Such a sad place to find yourself. Preston is everything you expect him to be, spellbinding, commanding and self assured.
You feel Sophie's frustration with her parents, the push and gentle emotional cajoling they do to guide her in their choice of direction, instead of her own.
It was a fascinating subject. It clearly required a large amount of research in order to use the correct jargon with ease and be authentic. I got swept away with the excitement of it it as Sophie found her way.
When Sophie acted just a little naughtily, I dreaded Preston's reaction.....and then I'm thinking; This is just a book! But oh how wrong that statement is, it's anything but just a book.
I'm not sure I'd have had the balls to follow through as Sophie did, she was definately focused, feisty and a little on the edge! and then, there it is....Preston setting out his stall so to speak, telling Sophie exactly what He wants. The intensity and speed of their relationship kinda catches your breath, sweeping you up and dragging you along.
You feel such a heavy cloud of sadness when Sophie finds herself completely out f her depth at the party, she exposes all her vulnerabilities, her immaturity and naivety. and just as you believe everything is going so well, and you wonder, is it as it seems? Is Preston all he seems?
Bradley? What the hell!
I really enjoyed this book, it was a one sitting read for me, I just couldn't stop. It was a great topic and one I have never read about before. I was so impressed, I will be looking out for more collaborations from Tia Lewis and Roxy Sinclaire. So recommended!

Never in my wildest dreams did I think bdsm and computer hacking would go together but what Tia Lewis and Roxy Sinclaire did made it happen and boy was this an awesome ride of a book, it had me gripped from the prologue.

At first I wasn't sure where this was going, from the prologue to even halfway through but I am so glad because the way this book ended I was like clever very clever and held my interest for the whole time and I really wanted to know how this was all going to end.

I loved Sophie she was such an innocent and naive girl to begin with but I loved how her strength grew throughout the book, it was like she was growing up through each page, now Preston was a different story, he was rich and demanding and he knew what he wanted unfortunately for him he wasn't smart, but he was sexy and alpha and a fantastic character

This book was very very hot and I have missed reading book with the bdsm feel and it's made me want to read more. I also liked this book because I felt it had a message and younger girls should read it. It just shows how careful we need to be trusting of other people especially behind a computer screen and with how this world is becoming we will hear a lot more stories like this one.

This book had it all the secrets, lies, sex, mystery, and a beautiful ending.

Thank you to Ta and Roxy for letting me read this book early for my honest review, loved everything about this book and if you are in the mood for hot, sexy and something different then this one is for you.

Sophie Hansen has always been a loner, as she never felt like she fit in with any of the kids her age, and she was okay with being alone reading a book. Her life is turned upside down when her parents get Sophie her first laptop, and realizes she has a talent at hacking. She discovers a group online called The Alliance, and she knows that she wants to part of this hacker group more than anything, so she sets out to get a hold of them. When mysterious billionaire, Preston Phillips finally gives in and lets her join, things get serious. As she's immersed into a law breaking world, Preston takes it up a notch, by making Sophie his. When Sophie has red flags raised, will she be able to escape scot free?

Dirty Hacker is a story that I enjoyed, especially the originality of it. Tia Lewis and Roxy Sinclair meshed perfectly together, and the story flowed perfectly. Their diabolical twists and turns made for some serious f-bomb dropping moments that almost ended up as a loud chant, with the biggest twist of all, an all out roar! Simmering chemistry boiled over into panty wrecking sexy scene goodness that will destroy panties everywhere, and the emotional angst was at times, palpable. My issue was that the ending felt too rushed, because there was some EPIC OMG moments that had me cheering, so I really wanted a bit more, however, it also felt like a cliff hanger? I really hope I'm on the right track, as I NEED more of the awesome Sophie! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

COPY RECEIVED FOR HONEST REVIEW
The blurb of the story drew me in and I was excited to read the story. The title of the book kind of says it all. Sophie is very young . Not only in years but experience. She has kept to herself for most of her life. She was a little naive when reading and falling in to the Alliance. Preston was much older than her and of course more experienced. He taught her a lot about hacking and sex. the story was fine, a little different than what I normal. the ending was a little off. It doesn't end the way you expect or probably want it to. there are some dark scenes and some twists and turns that keep the book interesting.

I liked this book, I loved how Sophie grew into herself and became confident, “how long do you think? Come on. You can figure it out. I know you’re a smart man.” I gave him a little smile." I liked Preston, but toward the end of the book I kinda couldn't stand the man. I mostly focused on Sophie and her growth.

Gripping from the prologue, Dirty Hacker has a good mix of suspense, mystery, unexpected twists, and hot and dirty sex. The characters and story-line suck you in and keep you on the edge until the very end.

I volunteered to review an advance readers copy of this book.

This is a story about girl who try to find something impotrant in her life. She's lonely and introverted. At the Age of 18 she has no friends or even clasmates.
The Alliance is her way of finding some comerade in life. To try to make a connection with someone who knows things like her.

Her Age was a real surprise due to matter of BDSM in this book. She was so pure to me, and in that matter she was too eager for me in sub role. This book is really steamy in some parts that made me almost blush a few Times.

Preston he was sometimes too stiff in some matter, but after reading it makes complete sense!!
And this ending for me seemed like beginning to something new!

In this book i found sometimes hard to follow Sophie thoughts as they were so fast so changeable in a minute, and also she was too open too obidient to Prestons commamds.
But it was a a Nice fast steamy read ;)

Dirty Hacker is the latest collaboration by authors Tia Lewis & Roxy Sinclaire. This story is about Sophie Hanson who is a recent high school graduate and computer genius. She desperately wants to join an online hacker group and pursues it. In doing so, she gets mixed up with Preston Phillips, a irresistible and mysterious billionaire. Things aren't as they seem and now Sophie is in too deep.

Though this story does not include a typical HEA it is an unique story of where our choices take us and what transpires when we don't make the right ones. I would have loved to seen an HEA or a to be continued in this story. The writing is good, but bit of the book I did struggle with wondering where the story was really going to go.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This book was a little different for me as it didn't have the conventional HEA as I'm used to. But that didn't detract from it. And that's all I'm saying about the ending.

Sophie is an introverted innocent, recent high school graduate and computer genius. She spends her days with computers and hacking as she hasn't made any friends since she was 10.

Preston is a billionaire and lead of The Alliance, an exclusive group of hackers that Sophie desperately wants to get into. Preston teaches Sophie more about hacking and Sophie finds Preston as a way to explore her limited experiences. And Sophie ends up getting more confidence and friends, so she's got a win win!
